This place is a good way to distract your kids, however! It's outrageously priced, rewards after spending hundreds of dollars are the cheapest of toys worth pennies. Claw machine are rigged so lose as to not even try to pick up most prizes. In all it's NOT worth it what so ever. 20$ gets you around 80 pts worth of play. Very few games under 5pts per game and if they are last a whole 1 min to play. Most run 10-45pts to play.. again not worth it.

Took my granddaughter here while she was in town for the summer. She had a great time. We went on a Sunday and it wasn't too packed. We spent $40 for her to play and it lasted about an hour. We will take her back again next summer.

It was not the arcade of my childhood, but my son had fun. There are way too many crane type machines and not enough arcades for me. The staff have always been nice and helpful. Mens room toilet needs a new seat. The bathroom as a hole could use some tlc. We've been a couple of times, and I'm sure we'll be back.

I love going Monday through Thursday after 5pm. They have this awesome sale that starts at 5pm and goes to close. And you can purchase it how ever much you want! $40 play card for $20! It's the only time I take my kids. So much cheaper for people with big families!

Alot of machines are always down. When theyre not down, they're uncalibrated and dont play right. Games often say theyre good to play, but you swipe your card multiple times to get it to register and it finally does after a 2nd or 3rd swipe, at that point its already taken the money for the failed attempts. Employees are always less than enthusiastic to help. We like coming in and letting our kids kill time while were at the mall, but were on the verge of never returning to a place that doesnt care about i

The place was great for kids and adults alike. I was confused by having to have 2 different cards, one for ticket machines and one for arcade games so if I bet kids are too, that needs to be fixed or use different color cards... I think it would be better if it had enclosed half walls to allow younger kids to not escape but I was with mine the entire time. Enjoyed laser tag; bowling machines kept messing up though so don't take a game remotely seriously; putt-putt golf was okay. Overall it seemed a pretty

Pretty good arcade for all ages. Some games are a little pricey, in my opinion. All around good place to go when your s/o is doing some shopping

It was ok but they need maintenance on there games.can cost alot quick

I live in Arkansas, and our mall doesn't have an Arcade, but playing and having a good time was worth the drive. Mall is pretty big, too!

Games kept taking our money and doing nothing then had to find a manager every time everything is so expensive the staff was unhelpful.

So...it was pretty fun! All the minl-golf, laser tag and video games you can handle for three hours! So much audio and visual stimulation you won't believe it! I felt like it was a little pricey but the kids had fun so...I guess it was worth it!

This may be an exaggeration, but it seemed like every other game was broken without a sign that said it was. There are hardly any real arcade games, but mostly games to win tickets.

I myself find most of the games pretty good, Although the claw games are a little harder than they used to be. But, still a good place to kill time, and thank God for the benches in it ! Otherwise, my back would be really sore from all the walking and standing a lot. The only complaint I really have is the Willy Wonka and Wizard of Oz games. They never work as they used to. They need to repair or replace those.

Most games were broken or malfunctioned. They were nice and would refund our points but still nothing that worked properly. Golf wasn't bad but everything was very disappointing. My 9 year old said he'd rather be at the dentist cause he would actually get a prize.

Rude staff kept ignoring us when we just wanted to play laser tag, and everything is ridiculously expensive

I loved the games and how much there was to do and win. Playing the Lazer room was so fun. The horse riding game was amazing too

We had a great time. Staff was friendly. Place was clean. Not crowded.

This play is THE BEST! its better than Dave and Busters, no debate! Im not joking, this place is a premium arcade that has some personality. Everybody there is so friendly and attentive to all my questions about how the place works, which i think is rare in arcades. I had a date with a friend that I haven't seen in a long time in that town, and we decided to try out Tilt. Let me tell you my friends, it was the RIGHT CHOICE!! :) Btw, if you find the machine with the giant rings, you can win a seriously amazi

It's really fun laser tag is the best. Something fun if you want to do it sucks. It's so expensive.

Awesome staff. There was a tornado in the area but we didn't hear the sirens because of how loud the game was. The staff came and took my grandson and I to a shelter. Super nice people.

All the air hockey machines don't work we train them all Cool place for kids who want ticket games

I'm going to leave my old review below but feel obligated to update it because our experience today was so much improved I've changed the 2 stars to 5. My wife said it was the best experience she's ever had at an arcade. We did get some special I think for it being during the week so that made the value a lot better than full price, but the main reason it was so good was because of the staff. They were all so very friendly and accommodating. The venue has expanded since we were last there and there is a lot

Honestly, the expirience of me and the boys is always fun when we hang out here. the thing we laugh at the most however is the fact that every time we go over, 25% of the machines are broken. edit: make that 50%

My daughter and I had a lot of fun on $20

Really pricey, most of the games are 32 points per play, which is crazy spent $100 (450 points) on games ONLY no golf or Lazer tag. We only played for about 45 min, which gave us 3k tickets, but that's only enough for small toys like $2 retail price( top toys are over 200,000 tickets) . We thought about doing the bumper cars, but it only ran for 60 seconds and was very expensive. About 6 games were broken and not working.

I took my kids in there to have some fun. I put money on the cards for them and the first game they decided to play, was broken. The staff was helpful in getting the issue resolved. However, the next game they decided to play took the credit off the card but again did not work. I had to bother the staff again to get it resolved. One of my kids played skee ball and the first one she tried, did not work. So she swiped her card at the next one and it gave her the balls to be able to play but did not credit her

It's an ok place for the kids to enjoy themselves. Of course you can always complain about the price but it is what it is. Overall our kids were happy playing around in the arcade. When we went there was only 1 person working so clearly they are short staffed like other businesses at this time. Didn't have a bad time but didn't have the greatest times of our lives either. It's an arcade in a mall so set your expectations accordingly.

Their games act like they don't read your card then charge you without allowing credits. Has happened 3 times at this location now and they always act oblivious. Total scam.... Yeah I have told the people working three times now. All three times they only offered partial refunds. At no point did they seem to be concerned when I made them aware it's an ongoing problem. Again, this place is a scam

Many games do not work or have the proper balls or equipment needed to play the games effectively. You will spend a few times waiting in line to get your tokens back on the games that do not work. My kids and I have given this place many chances and it seems to get worse not better. The staff is very friendly, it is not their fault that the games have issues. They are doing their best and doing a good job keeping the place clean and running as well as they can. Update: The kids and I went back two weeks la

Took my son for his birthday, lady was supper rude/patronizing manner during lazy tag, fridge was not working for cold drinks, did not tell me that until after i paid for it. For the price it was not worth it at all.

2 stars is for the golf and a few good attractions. But the food is very cheap and tastes horrible but the biggest complaint is the conditions of the games they tend to have broken or not fully operational machines and doesn't have any signs up to let people know before you swipe the card and the staff has been hit and miss so just leaves alot of room for improvement being the only game place in the city.

We take our family here often. The workers are extremely friendly and always helpful. We have always had the best experience. Fun games and kids always get so excited when we come! Olivia was exceptional and made our most recent experience the best it's ever been!

Kids really enjoy going here but staff attitudes could use some real improvement. Most games were working, although a few were partially damaged but technically still functional but they really should have been removed from operation until being fixed. There are also a few games that are marked as functional that will take money off your scan card but the operational elements of the game have been removed (such as the ski balls, start button, and foam bullets) When this was brought to the attention of the a

Do NOT buy a game package just get a basic card with points. We spent $70 here and played like 5 arcade games cuz that's all that would really let you all other games would say required tokens or the like. Just still with the basic package I guess

My granddaughters, my wife and I went here on Aug 2nd. We only played miniature golf. The course was small and not very difficult, but nice enough to enjoy. We may come back in the future if we get the chance. Since we didn't play any other games, I can't say much else. Perhaps next time, we can do more and I can update my review.

I wish I could give it a zero. I came here as a free event for school and let me tell you I wish I had stayed in the hotel. Food and drinks were awful and ran out, because staff let random people eat some. None of the free games for us worked, games are overpriced and not worth spending the money on game cards. Worst experience for an arcade of my life and I've worked at one.

Visited and it looked fun at first glance. However, a lot of the machines are broken or take points off your card and will not allow you to play. Luckily the workers were understanding enough to refund the points back to the card but it quickly got irritating having to return to the workers everytime a machine took points. Most of the machines have been there for years and needs some updating.

The staff are friendly and helpful and the games are fun. The selection is neat have both kid and adult games however some of the games don't fully work and some don't work at all and with the cost you would expect the games to atleast work. The most disappointing part is the larger prizes they have a display case showing like 20 different prizes yet when u redeem the tickets u only have like 5 to choose from. Because of these things I couldn't give it more than 3 stars.

Game selection is spot on for all different ages of children! AC could've been turned down, warmer temps make it difficult to enjoy all venues. Lots of consumers complained as well as staff. Loved the summer special-Great pricing for some good fun!!

My daughter and I tried this place out the other evening and were quite disappointed. The majority of the machines are out of order, the "working" ones are hit or miss if they work properly. Apparently you have to score insanely high to accumulate a decent amount of tickets. She won 67 whole tickets for $20 of play and left with a rubber tiger bracelet and a plastic ring, woohoo! She is 6 and as we left she said she gave the place 2 thumbs down. I'm giving 2 stars because the place has potential and seemed

If your playing for tickets forget it, they don't give out much. $20 will last maybe half an hour depending on what and how much you play, and the prizes look like they all came from a dollar store, the few good items are made impossible to get on purpose. The bathrooms are disgusting!!! Still have good games though so I can't give any lower than 3 stars.

This place had very over priced games spent 40 dollars for my kids to each have a card with 20 dollars worth of points. The cards lasted less than 15 mins and they had won 164 tickets which amounts to three plastic little toys that might have cost 10 to 15 cents a piece at a party supply store. I was not impressed with this place at all. It only gets two stars because it was clean.

Lots of fun for people of all ages. My personal favorite is the mini golf course and laser tag. My friends and I had a blast and my best friend got his fingers stuck in a pair of Chinese handcuffs lol. Love this place and highly suggest it if you're looking for family friendly fun in Joplin. Beats Chuck E. Cheese's any day.

The place is dirty and they don't have a lot of people to help. I felt bad for the guy at the front counter having to listen to all the customer calls for help overhead on the PA. Apparently, his manager just walked by while the repeat calls were going off and walked into the snack bar area which didn't look to be open. At any rate, the snack bar didn't have anybody buying anything at the time and customers were left waiting for quite some time. One would think a manager would be alarmed by that. I know man

This place is very packed with machines. Some don't even work but you don't know that until you've paid for the game. It could use a good cleaning up and it was extremely hot in there today. Not much for little kids. I'm not in a big hurry to go back

Always clean but amount of points you need to play the games is stupid high and alot of the machines seem to be out of order ALOT especially their card machines where you load or check points. The prizes are typical arcade prizes with typical over priced amounts to obtain said prize. It's a fun place to go but parties are ridiculously expensive even for just an hour.

It was fun I guess. Definitely has gotten more expensive, and most if the stuff there seems more prize based rather then game based now. Like , it was fun , but it was also disappointing because there were full grown adults playing games alongside kids , all of them looking like your generic gambling addicts.

My client goes everyday to play the same game, he's only there for about 30 minutes if that. They were doing a discount for him since he only stays for 30 minutes instead of the hour, now because corporate hasn't gotten back to the manager they're no longer giving him the half off for the power hour play. I know it's not the managers fault but seriously you could try harder.

My son and his girlfriend spent their first date here on the morning of Aug. 31st and they had a blast!! They did the date package and enjoyed their pizzas and chose the Lazer tag as their attraction, which they loved ! There was a good variety of games and they never seemed bored when we occasionally dropped by to see how they were doing. The staff was very nice and courteous and quick to get their pizzas and assist with Lazer tag. Definitely worth it and will be back!

Games were pretty lame, well the ones we could play anyway. And the family plan by the way, says unlimited game play for an hour but they fail to specify that you cant play any games that result in any type of prize or ticket. So it limited us to a very few amount of games. So not worth the money. Then we got a pizza, the place was dead empty and it took them 30 minutes to get our pizza. After we got our pizza I reminded the snack bar that we still needed 4 large drinks. They brought me 4 smalls!!

Took the kids yesterday and I'd honestly rather go to chuck e cheese. For several reasons actually. 1. You actually get more tickets out of the games. 2. The claw games are a total waste because they didn't work properly. 3. Third and the reason I'm most irritated is the younger girl behind the counter was extremely rude and acted like she didn't want to help us at all. 2 young men came in and she was completely fine with them then came back and acted very annoyed to the point I almost found the manager mys

Had not been to an arcade in ages. The switch to card from tokens was neat at first, however $20 and a very few plays later got me nothing but an insufficient message, bringing the fun to a screeching halt. Maybe that's the tilt, $20 twenty years ago got you a couple hours of skee ball and mortal combat. A lot of the machines were broken, except the claw machines, which happily rob you for the slight chance at a win.

Half of the games dont even work. :( Took my girls and a couple friends tonight, spent almost $100 and was pretty disappointed. Half the games don't work, bought unlimited play for an hour and ended up spent half of that time playing bumper cars and laser tag, which were both great. Bathrooms were dirty also. Probably won't be back.

Way too expensive and you have no idea what your spending. You swipe the card and it charges you but the machine doesn't work..and the tickets are a waste.. I spent 60 dollars and ended up with 380 tickets. Not even enough for a candy bar that cost 400 tickets!!!! So that's 60$ for a candy bar.

Took our 3 yo, most machines were either broken or malfunctioning. The only thing that was working was the arcade. They didnt even have the decency to take off or put out of order signs so we ended up swiping card, losing money and when we went and told the man running it he ended up giving us enough points to buy 5 tootsie rolls. We used to take our older kids and they loved it so much but now its just a loud flashy factory of sadness.

We took our 2 boys to tilt for a fun family night, almost every game we tried to play wouldn't work! We would swipe our cards and then the game wouldn't even work! It took points off our card but then wouldn't let us play. We did the laser tag,and my sons gun wouldn't work and they didnt refund the points or anything! And games we could play didnt last longer than a minute,so wasn't really worth playing to begin with.

My Experience: If you ever go to the mall you know that Tilt has now moved to a bigger and better location. I got off work early and decided it would be nice to take my 2 boys there for a time of fun and loud noises. We walked in and it took a minute to figure out how play any of the games. You see they have gotten rid of the tokens and now you have to purchase reusable cards. So I put my $2.00 in because in the old location that would have gotten us 8 games of ski ball (.25 per game) or two of the bigger

We all enjoyed the experience. The grandkids got to get some goodies. The machines were pretty clean. The staff were all nice also.

Went in for a date with the missus. First thing we did was a giant Grogu claw machine. Went ok. The rest of the games were either broken or just plain didn't work. There was only one staff working the floor and I couldn't find him because he was hiding in the staff office. Spent 80 dollars and was a waste.

I love claw machines. With a passion.. if I had enough room in my little apartment to get one I totally would. My next best bet is the only arcade in town.. and they know it. There's a couple other ma and pa ones but this one is the biggest one and it can be disappointing because there is really no competition for these guys. I have been going to tilt studio for a whole decade, since before they changed location. I loved this place when I was younger but as I grew older and started making my own money I rea

Awful customer service. Was told if I paid $12 we would have unlimited gameplay on certain games. The important fact he forgot to mention was that it only lasts 1 hour. Very dissatisfied. I will never be back to this awful place again. Customers beware ask questions.

This was not a good experience. Our first time here and 1/2 to 3/4 of the games didn't work. Payed for 20$ in games and at least ten dollars was wasted on games that didn't work. Went to the desk to explain and the staff argued and was very rude. Left my ten dollars left on the card with them and won't be returning. No refund was offered and nothing could be done. Don't go here unless you want to just look at broken down machines and waste money!

I had a lot of fun. A few of the games weren't working properly but staff quickly helped us resume play by correcting whatever malfunction the games were having. We will visit again!

Under staffed in the morning a bit the two kids ruining things were nice enough. Food: No mustard or relish for hot dogs, no jalapenos for nachos...the only condiment or anything to add flavor is ketchup lol. The big problem was the laser tag which the kids were dying to play was SWELTERING. So hot the kids could not tolerate out and this was on fairly cool morning. Also the equipment did not function well. We were told the mall controls the temp. The mini bowling thing did not function well, needs som

My grandson loves this place which is the only reason why I go here occasionally. I think it is hyper priced and a significantly poor value. All of these places are ripoffs, but I think Tilt is at the Apex. It would be easier to stomach this if they allowed a Time purchase instead of points only like Chuck-E-Cheese does.

Need more arcade sports games.

Wish the days of putting a quarter in a machine would come back. They give you this stupid card to use which I swiped 3 times at one game to play, took my money. Staff looks at you like it your fault. Spent 20 dollars in total got to play 5 games what a rip off. Won't be going back.

Went in last night, on a Tuesday night, to celebrate my 5 year olds birthday, they were extremely slow. I called ahead the weekend before asking if I brought over 10 people, paid for pizza, drinks and games, over $150 planned on spending, if we could bring in cupcakes for her dessert. I was told yes. We get there last night, I started setting everything up at a table. Regular workers walked around me for 10 minutes before a manager came out and told me we could not have our cupcakes if we didn't purchase a

An absolute local favorite. Lots of games to choose from. No tokens. Reloadable cards are used here. Tickets are also digital. There is mini golf and laser tag as well. Very well rounded arcade.

It's and arcade, so the prices are crazy high, but that aside they have a good selection of games. For the most part all the games were functional. We had problems with one, but they were quick to fix it for us.

It is nice to have a place like this to take the kids here in Joplin. They are fairly priced and have pretty fun thing to do like ticket games, video games, mini bowling, bumper cars, lazer frenzy, mini golf, and lazer tag. My family and I had a blast and won quite few tickets where the kids got some cool stuff. Oh and they have a place to sit and grab something to eat and drink though I didn't partake in that so I don't have an opinion on that specfically.

Arguably a wonderful arcade experience with new-ish gaming machines and certainly a fun stop for everyone in the Joplin area. Can say that I enjoyed playing a lot of the old arcade games that I used to play (Jurassic Park, Star Wars Arcade). Shame that some of them have sticky controls and damaged displays, however I'd chalk that up to heavy use and abuse.

Need s more games for small children. Customer service was poor. None of the card purchase or reload machines worked, but i would much rather go to the counter where they try to upsell their products.

About a quarter of the games do not work and about half of the games that do work don't work correctly. Most of the 2 player games only work for one of the players and hopefully you chose the correct controller. Also all of the card dispensers were out of cards.

They are in need of a major update. Many of the games are from the 90's. The games that are newer require many more points to play. We had issues with the functionality of the bowling, as well as a few of the other games.

Games are intentionally rigged to cheat kids. Most machines give only 1 or 2 tickets, many give ZERO! Its its a ticket games it should at least give ONE FREAKING TICKET! We got 17 tickets on a $10 card. Poor value for the money, disappointing for kids. Bathrooms are at Defcon 1.

I used to love taking my sister here but I'm sick of the bad attitudes. The same girl with black hair always rolls her eyes around us and the red head manager is rude to other customers. I get that they can be busy but it's everytime.

I will not be taking my kids back here for a long time if ever. This place is very dirty and smells really bad. Several games do not work. When I ask about it they said they have no one to fix them. We spent to much money not to enjoy our time. Very disappointed.

They could really do with a bathroom upgrade. The toilets are out of date. Very dirty and you can see right into the stalls while people are using it. Everything else is fine. Just really need to fix the bathrooms.

Over priced, half the games are broke and drinks were flat. Won't be back?. Get it together tilt. Charge premium then need to deliver premium??.

A good variety of games. Bowling did NOT work well, but staff reset and after 2nd time, refunded points used. Overall fine.

Some of the games werent working, no sign to tell you other wise. So lost time on card swiping them. Pushed button at concession stand, noone shows up so lost time there too.

We had a great time. Got a great buy one get one deal. Robert and Olivia made it a special night for our kids!!!! Big thanks to you two and Tiffany!

It's okay. Sort of pricey but, you'll get what you pay for so don't worry about losing out.

New machines and lots of opportunities to get tickets for prizes. Gave 4 stars because some of the scanners were knocked off or didn't work and because some games were just too expensive!

RECENTLY HAD MY SONS 11TH BIRTHDAY PARTY HERE, HAD A GREAT EXPERIENCE! THE FACILITY WAS CLEAN, THE STAFF WAS WONDERFUL. THE HOST, STEVEN I BELIEVE WAS HIS NAME, HE WAS AWESOME! VERY INFORMATIVE WHEN WE GOT THERE, WAS POLITE, WAS RIGHT THERE WHEN WE NEEDED ANYTHING AND KEEPING UP WITH 12 ROWDY 10YR-11YR OLD BOYS CAN BE A TASK. THANK YOU AND GOOD JOB TILT!

The male manager there was amazing we had some problems with a few things and he didn't wait for us to come to him he was paying attention to the point where he came straight to us and helped us as he seen us struggling he took care of everything and made all of it better i will be back with my family again and again great customer service he was such a gentleman

Love this place. Staff have always helped me anytime their was a issue with the machine. Kids enjoy this place. Definitely try to come once a week

Frequently Asked Questions

What’s it like visiting an arcade today?

It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.

Is it better to go alone or with friends?

Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.

What should I bring to an arcade?

Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.

What’s the best time to visit an arcade?
