My son and I came from California we had an amazing time!! We enjoyed our trip and this place was so big we played alot of the games. It had everything the staff was nice and assisted us in everything!
Great place and great staff. The tall girl who was closing tonight (06/25/25) was a godsend! We lost our keys and went back after closing and she was nice enough to come to the door and help us. She then proceeded to look EVERYWHERE for them and did it all with a smile on her face, even though it was 30 minutes past closing. When she couldn't find them, she came back outside and asked us if there was any other place they could be, then looked again and found them! All around great customer service and she r
Went to visit today for my son?s birthday. Spent $70 on 2 cards and so many of the games weren't working. Unfortunately it was one of those things that you don't know until you tap the card then something malfunctions. Disappointing. The staff was nice though! Pictured is one example. I tapped the card then the bar fell down blocking the basketballs. Lots of things like this!
Just went here with the family today. Never been disappointed with an arcade like today. It felt like a total scam. Put $30 on a card and never even hit payout on any claw machine. My daughter was super upset. The claw games were clearly set to be rigged. Some even don't close at all! I'll definitely avoid this arcade the next time we are at Mills.
This review is mainly about the top floor arcades... they need love. Buttons can be straight missing (see pic) or not working at all. It makes a lot of games impossible to play, namely Street Fighter. You don't always know until you paid already if buttons don't read - see video of Player 2 side. Joysticks are worn on others like DK and Pac-Man and such. Hoops are in decent shape and track baskets at least, but many of the basketballs are deflated and ripped... And this all hasn't improved over months. Us
This place looks pretty fun, I've seen the reviews but I've never went here but I'm going today at 6:30 PM! I hope I have a good time and all issues have been fixed! The food looks good and I'm probably gonna have to bring bags for the claw machines because I love claw machines so much. They're very entertaining Edit: I'd say a four star because the claw machines were annoying but everything else was pretty good and I like how you can eat or drink and just watch the view upstairs! I got 733 tickets but sav
Fun arcade inside Az Mills Mall. Too many claw games for my liking but pretty good mix of games, got to watch some master dance revolution peeps killing it! Upstairs has a lot of pinball games and a bar and restaurant. Resturant service was slow however we had a large wood-fired pizza for $15 and it was really good and worht the wait. Bar drink specials were as low as $6.
I would leave 0 stars if I could it was so terrible! I went in and put $40, and it gave me about 200 credits, what I thought was quite a bit of credits, until I saw the game prices! It's around 5-25 credits per game!!! And the games are old and worn out, most of the games don't even work because they are SO old!!!!! The claw game prizes are so tightly packed in, they are most definitely put in there by a professional, and the claw games are even older than the other games, all of the ones I played (and I pl
This place has really gone downhill. Many games broken. I tried to play air hockey and a puck didn't even come out. During playing two of the SpongeBob card games broke. Added a pic of that. Of course it's overpriced and the prizes suck but at least have good working games if that's the case.
After my 3 kids repeatedly tried sliding the play card to play a game that was clearly not working I went to ask an associate for the money back that kept getting charged on the cards. They were kind enough to put the money back on the cards, but this happened at 3 different games! After asking why not just put up a small sign that says something like "out of order" they replied with "they won't let us do that" which is really stupid and basically means you could spend a ridiculous amount of money on machin
Plenty of games, food court upstairs, and the staff are polite. The bathroom requires a purchase of games with proof of tilt card in order to use the bathroom which is able to be accessed after it's unlocked.
The staff was absolutely amazing to our party always checking in to make sure we were taken care of. The games were super fun and everyone had a great time!
It's was a fun day. ... We got the family pizza meal with 4pcs 1hr game arcade and 4 drinks. We also order additional chicken wings. ... which is yummy. ... The service was good but you have to wait a little for the food. Lots lots of games to play. ... we spent about 2 to 3 hours here. ...
Had to kill a couple hours because my flight was delayed. The GM greeted us and gave some recommendations on pinball. He was a genuine guy and we could tell he cared for the business and our enjoyment. My dad and I made a great memory here. Thank you Tilt!
It's a great arcade and they have awesome customer service. They assisted us with two broken claws machines that didn't work after inserting our cards in as the claw wouldn't move. However, I really do hope they fix them so other customers don't experience the same thing that me and my friend did. Note: The two claw machines are upstairs and if I recall the one to the left had superhero plush and the one to the right had NBA merchandise such as teddy bears. Awesome prizes, but sucks that the machines don't
Had some fun, but most driving games were meant for bigger sized kids and adults (not for my 5 year old). Some games were broken and couldn't be played. There was only one employee who was gone to get her lunch. I had to wait until we could be credited for a broken machine. Hopefully they'll fix their games and hire one more person.
The games were fun and the bartender was even better! Anyssa took great care of and made the best drink. She had a bunch of useful and great information. Thank you Anyssa!!!
Tilt Studio Arizona Mills is a blast! It's filled with fun games and activities. They have cool arcade games, and mini-golf. It's a great place for families and friends to have a good time. I went there recently, and it was so much fun. I recommend it for a fun day out with lots of entertainment options!
Half of their games doesn't work. However, the food is really good and for the price it's amazing. The drinks are not bad as well. One thing that particularly bothered me being there was the restaurant was upstairs to eat and the restroom was downstairs (which wasn't the issue). My brother went downstairs so he can wash his hands, but he went back because he needs proof that he was a customer before they open the restroom. It would be nasty to bring the tray of food down to the restaurant so, he just took h
This place has a lot of problems and it is evident that there is a lack of drive or budget to upkeep it. If we had a Kitchen Nightmares type show, but for arcades, this would definitely be featured. I'll get the good out of the way. I remember the pizza being pretty good. It's actually a lot better than Round 1's oddly colored orange slices. There used to be a pretty good deal where you get a soda and a personal pan for about $8. Unsure if that is still a thing. The Pump It Up machine returns after an ab
Price for tokens was alright I suppose ($20 for 100). This got us about 12 games which you blow through in about 25 minutes. Problem is, many games are completely broken, missing buttons, etc. It felt very run down, but my 4 year old had a decent time.
This place is awesome! The games are extremely loud so if you have sensory issues, I would bring headphones or ear buds. I do love the old games and pin ball machines. They also have prizes adults would like, like a dundie from The Office.
I've been to this arcade twice now. It's clean, big, and has a WIDE variety of games to play. It even has a restaurant upstairs. There are a couple machines that have been broken both times we've been, and some machines take your points and then don't work. Overall, great arcade with lots to do and it's pretty cheap to load up your card. Definitely our new go to arcade.
We had such a fun time coming here! There are old school arcade games on the top floor, along with the food and bar. Yum! The staff was nice and cleaning the whole time we were there. Downstairs are all games where you win tickets and prizes. We love other arcades like D&B but I think it was cheaper here at tilt studio to play. Would definitely recommend and will be back :D
I'm a dad, loves pinball, and I love this place. It's a Bar, gaming area, kids place mostly on bottom, old school games with new games and state fair type games. Win prizes and have fun. Staff could be nicer, but whatever.
Amazing amount of pinball, classics like ac/dc and Adams family. Also arcade classics like street fighter and mortal combat. Never too busy, excellent and safe location in Arizona Mills.
Anyssa, was the best host ever!! She made my nephew birthday so special. He loved everything including the personalized birthday sign for him. He is the biggest Minecraft fan I know. Thank you so much Anyssa, I appreciate you and I plan doing all parties there if I can. Thank you!
The arcade was fantastic, and we enjoyed the retro games. The pinball machines were impressive, and the wings were good for there price. The pizza was also very good, and I would like to give a shout out to Andrew for the food and he was very helpful. It was a wonderful experience for my children and me, and we look forward to returning soon.
Prices are higher than other arcades in the area ?? I'd suggest Dave and Busters or Main Event for adults and kids and Peter Piper Pizza for kids
We came here to play some DDR, they also had a huge selection of pinball machines. A couple of the buttons on a few of the machines were sticky or not working but still a ton of selection to play.
More then I expected price wise from a place attached to a mall. Arcade selection is okay, pinball collection is sad, beer selection and food selection surprisingly on point and well priced. Also was able to have about 2 trips worth of fun on $30.
Really fun experience, I've been here a couple of times. The games are so fun and the environment is even better. There's a lot of arcades that have closed down but this one is still going strong. Go and get good deals and I hope you have as much fun as I did.
Had an Awesome time in the Tilt launch party tourney. All the players and the employees were great and super friendly.
Staff was helpful, but most games were well used and a lot just didn't work after taking payment. Was refunded, but just expect more from a place like this.
Best Pinball selection! Definitely have to try the food or the bar next time.
We had an awesome time here! They give a free hour of play if it's your birthday. They also double your tokens if you come in 2 hours before close. The virtual reality ride was so realistic and fun! I highly recommend
Two level retro arcade. Fun atmosphere, upstairs bar and great prizes
Almost all the games are some degree of broken. Many of them took our credits but didn't work. Spent $148 in 10 minutes. Hard pass.
Loved being here and trying all the different crane games. Kids had so much fun!
It's a bit far from my place but my kiddo and his friend had fun! Lots of games to keep you busy for a while.
Less crowded and a better atmosphere than most places like it. The games are fun and the prices are reasonable. My family and I always enjoy coming here. While the food is not the best, I feel like its still an enjoyable place to eat and grab a drink, especially when its not busy. There is a food court right outside too, plus a movie theater which go together well with Tilt Studio. This last time we went we walked out with several items won from the claw machines, and gain some tickets so I feel like it was
Lots of great games from around year 2000. Some of them are not working or unplayable, but it worth going and going back to the old days.
Customer service terrible Everything is dirty including bartender who didn't wash his hands as he was eating his lunch before serving us Machines dirty, broken & takes your money (even the ones that appear work) 2 hand sanitizer dispensers empty If you go and it's empty inside here are some of the reasons why I would never go back or recommend
It's not bad but staff are very rude. Mask questions they don't look. I tip. Bad service. I loke this for my kids.
No Dave and Busters! But a very well presented Arcade.
The only redeeming quality of this place is their staff. Everyone we interacted with was friendly, helpful, and pleasant. The games are very expensive. The claw machines are near impossible to win. The prize area is decent, but good luck not draining your bank account for a good prize. Many games were broken. The air hockey tables were missing paddles and pucks. A lot of the machines are very old and run down. The place smelled of farts and skunk weed. I can confidently say that we will not be back.
This is the first place I have ever been able to play The House of The Dead Scarlet Dawn (1st Place 1P and 2P) and I think its a great place. Easy service, Games are working well, and convenient that its next to the food court. Keep this game and Time Crisis 3; I will always be back to play some more!
There is definitely fun to be had here, but a lot of machines are out of order or require employee attention. Would recommend looking at the prices online or in advance
Great fun place, only thing which is odd is the oven aren't heated up yet @12:45 pm. They opened at 10am, guy said I'll have wait till 1:30 for oven to properly warm up for pizza? So it takes 2.5 hours to warm up ovens?? Overall, Staff here are polite and helpful. Again great place to have family fun
Visited Tilt Studio on a late Friday night. Not as many people as I thought would be there. But that is okay cause all the games were open. Plenty of options from young children's games (slap crocs, whack a mole, ect) and adult friendly games (old schooll pinball, galaga, older arcades, ect). Restaurant is located upstairs. Good food, decent prices; $8.99 for burger and fries. There is a bar available as well, also located upstairs. The prizes are a decent assortment: stuffed bears, shot glasses, nerf guns
Good spot for games... new and old ones. Food and drinks cool but you will likely wait long... understaffed. Games were ok except unmaintaied.. some were broken or didn't work properly. Great spot to take kiddos.
Enjoy the puddle of pee on y'alls floor. If your worker hadn't taken 3 business days whilst chatting with other coworkers to unlock the bathroom there wouldn't be a wet floor where my 4yr old was standing. Seriously be better. Also, $10 minimum to use your restroom is WILD.
Tons of games broken, no staff to help, place just steals your money off the card
What a great time. Me and my son loved it and will be going back.
Outstanding food for the price. This is half the salad for less than a McMeal. Pizza was just alright. The rest was good and prices are the best you will find in the mall!!
This place does not seem as cool as when I used to be Gameworks a few years ago kind of feels empty and soulless it was on a Monday afternoon when I came through here maybe that was the problem maybe I'll check it out on the weekend
Two out of two times we went one game didn't work. That's half the games we tried didn't work by my math ?? the staff is good at refunding tho so whatever. Oh and they were out of burgers on a Friday as well. "Highly recommend" ??
It's always a good time here. My kids love it. When the machines sometimes take ur money, no questions asked, they put it back on the card. I love this place.
Great old school arcade games. Upstairs is where the fun is at.
Its nice to have an arcade around, but the few old arcade machines upstairs need work. I couldn't play Simpsons because the monitor had a vertical collapse, and I would have gladly dumped credits on this one machine. One of the other monitors had really bad bends, but that can be fixed with work also. The centipede machine doesn't sync up with taking a credit at the game-select screen vs. in the actual game. One of the racing games downstairs had a gd-rom error.
i had fun but not what i expected... to start the claw games are a rip off... when the claw fully lifts the stuffed animal out of the crowd and brings it about halfway to the hole and drops it?? plus, most (as in alMOST all) of the controls are broken (area 51 missing P1 start button. Marvel VS Capcom 2 P1 assist1 ? ? * <-broken* ? ? ? the only positive was the food, unexpectedly... the nachos o.k. but the pizza wAs made with love
A lot of the games are broken, or the card reader doesn't work. We had to go to the desk multiple times to get point back for games We didn't get to play. The girl who worked there was very nice, even after I called on her multiple times to fix games or refund points. I think this place would be a wonderful time if updated. Even with all of this, we still enjoyed ourselves.
Very harsh. I was filming a video for my YouTube channel and they were looking and pointing at me circa 2018. I used to use their bathrooms no problem back in the day to escape the shitty restrooms from the mall. I never paid to use their toys, I was just recording a video.
It was amazing to receive such amazing customer service on Sunday. I brought my family for a fun afternoon. Broken machines could have ruined our visit. However, Shawn worked very hard to keep all customers. Including me, happily spending. Thanks to him, we will be back soon!!
Would love to spend a few hours playing the pinball machines ?? ??
Best arcade with claw machines I've ever been to. I never had more fun than I did at tilt studio. Also got a pennywise which was the coolest prize ever. Worth every penny. 5 stars all day long
Terrible outdated technique. Whole floor of 150 machines down , Windows rebooting endlessly.
TLDR - GOT FOOD POISONING Grabbed a quick bite from the concession upstairs before playing some games. The only 3 people in our group to eat all ended up getting food poisoning. Ordered chicken nachos, which looked nothing like the picture, a pretzel, and some fries. The chicken on the nachos was forgotten, when asked about it they scooped some up on a spatula in the back, carried it to the front counter still on the spatula and asked for my plate. Which was super odd and that was a red flag not to eat bu
Seriously..... Are you charging tax on adding money to my already existing tilt card? Wanted to put $10 on my card as I should, but it cost me $10.80. Why is that a problem... because I could not put my whole $20 on it because I did not have $21.60???? You're loss, don't think I'll be back, and that's sad cause you're 1 of the largest places that has the most pinball games. Oh, and you charge too much for your games too ??
Place could use some TLC. Not as cool as it was when my kids were little and it was branded differently. It was also new back then too. But my visiting family members really enjoyed it. Also it has an amazing selection of pinball machines on the 2nd floor for us dinosaurs. My favorite so far being the Godzilla machine.
Awesome, has all the classics asteroids, centipede, Galaga, and more. One problem with Galaga though on the machine the scoreboard when you're entering you're entails it can skip letters of the whole thing. I got all the high scores except 4th once and the last two entails would be messed up or I would have to use a different nick name. But otherwise it was awesome.
First time here.. Place is very big and convenient for lots of people upstairs and down stairs. Downfall it could be pricey as well as most games don't work but seem to work but takes points and to keep telling an employee or trying to find an employee and explain it over and over As well as employee at counter was not so polite at the counter and at the prize area..
Hello, my name is Sara Campos and my boyfriend and I came to this place to play because my boyfriend told me that I was going to like this place a lot. We are from El Paso, TX. This was my first time visiting this city everything went very well until we came on Sunday 06/02/2024. We were having a great time, there were some machines that didn't work but we didn't take that too much importance. We had been playing a game upstairs for a while, the game was not over yet. 7:00pm arrived and at that exact time a
Excellent arcade for kids with a great variety of games plus the restaurant upstairs is affordable and very filling. For driving two hours to come here was worth the drive as it is affordable without breaking the bank.
We have visited twice. The first time we only spent about 15 minutes, and the second time we spend three hours. Pros: Very clean and wonderful A/C. Small space that utilizes its layout well, so it's easier to find your group. A wonderful selection of old arcade games can be found upstairs. It's never crowded and you never have to wait for games. There seems to be a great selection of 3D games and some interesting racing games involving spraying water. Cons: There were many machines that did not appear to
Many of the machines are a bait and switch. They say 8 tickets but you have to swipe it twice to get it to go. And sometimes the machine just don't actually work at all. Employees also are listless and do not want to help. Avoid
We go here mainly for the pinball. Lots of awesome pinball machines upstairs! You have to ask an employee to open the restroom and they were a little annoyed about it lol. But I get it, being in the mall they probably need to have some control over who can access it.
My older sister, Kelly Rubin's , boyfriend, Loren, and I had A BLAST at Tilt Studio Arizona Mills arcade, TONIGHT, here on Saturday, May 7th, 2022!!!!!??????????????? THANK YOU, ARIZONA MILLS MALL!!!!!????????
The upper floor has the best older games and pinball machines like godzilla pinball, sega games, Capcom. Downstairs has a great amount of games. I enjoyed playing House of the Dead 4. They also vr games.
I like visiting Tilt Studio with my family. We play some of the multi-player games together, then play the golden age of arcade games (Galaga, Centipede, etc..), then grab a drink and a bite to eat at the upstairs bar. The facilities are kept nice and clean. I enjoy collecting tickets from playing the redemption games and getting cool toys with the tickets. This is a cool place to stop if on a date night, too. And there are many pinball machines which are always a blast to play.
This place has awesome pizza with even better wings....I highly recommend going here love the games...esp the basketball games...
Pinball was great and well maintained. Bar manager was fast with the beers. If you live in the area, I don't, join the pinball league, it looks fun. The league players were very nice and I had no problems playing games while the league was doing their thing.
Spent 16.00 at this place all in claw machines. Not one even come close to working. You have to buy a card. Two machines would deduct points but not give me credit. So basically this place is the biggest rip off ever! Take the kid's elsewhere. Really I understand you have to make a profit. Just can't understand running a business that's 100% rigged for children. $1.00 in the mall won on my first try. So my kid didn't have to go home empty handed.
We had so much fun, and the staff was great, Ramon and Desiree were super helpful with the games. Great service at an arcade is rare. We'll visit again!
Never seen so many plush games in one spot now only if they were calibrated so you could actually win something. Never lost so many times...rigged more than most places. My kids liked the spot a lot. Easy to win tickets but the prizes are mostly off brand junk and really high ticket cost. So they give you the feeling of winning but it makes you spend more money and then when you get to the prize counter it's a let down. If a game doesn't work they don't credit your card they have to physically come to the g
Hands down, way better than Dave & Busters. They have a good selection of pinball & old school classics that Dave & Busters simply doesn't have. Not to mention, better food and a great lounge to shoot a game of pool or enjoy a football game on the big screen.
This place looks so exciting. But wait till you try it out. Most machines don't work and will just take your money and the workers don't do anything about it. Was disappointed because I had high hopes for this place.
Tonight was an extremely poor service, seems like they were short on staff but that's not the customers problem. Guy taking the order was not smiling, being polite. A simple "Thank you" or "You're welcome" would've been nice. And the guy at the bar had attitude because w asked for ice. Lucky for him i was with my family or it would have been a problem between us. I worked the food industry and you can not have this type of service.
It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.
Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.
Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.
Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.
Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.
Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.
Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.
No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
Yes, pinball tables in arcades remain a blast. Their hands-on, skill-driven gameplay delivers a thrill digital games can’t match, blending nostalgia with modern flair. Newer tables from Stern and Jersey Jack feature LCD screens and themes like Avengers or Stranger Things, keeping things exciting. Arcades are seeing a pinball resurgence with vibrant scenes and tournaments like IFPA events drawing crowds. Though less common than video games, pinball’s tactile charm and community vibe make it a standout arcade experience in 2025.
Yes, virtual reality (VR) games in arcades are a top attraction in 2025! Titles like Beat Saber and Half-Life: Alyx deliver immersive thrills with cutting-edge headsets, motion tracking, and responsive controllers. High-resolution displays and spatial audio create heart-pounding experiences, from slashing rhythms to battling zombies. Arcades feature multiplayer VR zones and tournaments, fostering lively communities. VR booths are regularly packed, proving their captivating, next-level gameplay makes them a must-try arcade experience.
Arcade prize games are a thrilling highlight in 2025! Claw machines, skee-ball, and ticket-redemption games like basketball offer a rush of skill and chance, with rewards like plushies, toys, or electronics up for grabs. Modern machines feature vibrant lights, digital scoreboards, and responsive controls, amplifying the fun. The lively arcade atmosphere, with cheering crowds and buzzing energy, makes every win feel epic.
