I took my mission to find the best arcade food way too seriously?and Tilt did not disappoint. Retro games, decent eats, and a surprisingly strong drink menu. It's giving grown-up Chuck E. Cheese but cooler. Perfect for date nights or friend hangs. Want to know if it's worth your tokens? Full video lives on Faith?s Faves and TikTok @faithsfavorites

The wife and I had a great time! Games were .50 to $1 which let us play for over an hour on just $20. The bar was nice, beers were good, and the cocktails were tasty. A very cool spot to hang and have some fun. We will be back on the regular.

Not expensive. Not too busy. Was a really cool place to kill some time

Cozy basement-level arcade serving up classic pinball machines with a familiar bar menu. Drinks are solid. Service is friendly. Plenty of room for groups. Kids welcome! Bathrooms are clean.

Really nostalgic place. Old games from the 1970s and up to date games as well. Mostly pinball machines but they have a couple pool tables. A air hockey table. Bubble hockey. And a few other cabinet games. They serve food and alcohol. They even have a small room you can rent out for a party or meeting. The place is under Verde Mexican restaurant. Same entrance. I like this place because it seems like not too many people know about it. So it wasn't overly packed when I was there. I would recommend this place

Tilt has a great selection of games, including many LEs. Also a decent mix of EM, SS, and moderns. Bar is always great and they have an awesome Wednesday evening pinball league night.

Local's favorite, with vintage and new games, including Rush, Led Zeppelin tables. Ice cold tap beer, cocktails and excellent service. Cool Vibe for old and young alike. I believe there is yummy food available, parking is always free. If you like pinball and live in Boulder Co. go visit!

It's small but has great pinball machines. Definitely wish it was an 18 and up, 5 yr olds running around screaming unattended is a vibe kill. I probably won't go back just for the children factor, hence the 3 stars. Perhaps have adult only nights or days before if you already don't.

Great place to enjoy a coctail or beer while basking in some fun arcade games or playing a round of pool whether you are on a date, with friends, or family. There is also space to book a private party or large party gathering and the arcade is situated in a nice little town.

Tonight during the Parade of Lights in Louisville we couldn't find any place to eat that didn't have an hour and a half wait. The folks at the bar hooked us up with pizza and nachos, they were delicious! Super upscale bar food. They even checked in the back to see if any of my daughters allergens were present in the food. It was extremely affordable and the bartenders and wait staff were super nice and helpful. Thank you!

My family and I love Tilt for an absolutely fun night out, but my company, Yellow Scene Magazine, just hosted an important speaking event (followed by dancing) in their upstairs event space. Gillian was an absolute dream and took care of all the details of the production. We didn't have to think about lighting, sound, chairs, tables, plates, cups or drinks. Gillian stayed with us all the way through the event, came up with checklists so we could focus on the other aspects of putting the event on. They opene

Great Venue, Arcade and Bar. Love the Retro games like Galaga, Donkey Kong, Tetris, Asteroids, Ninja Gaiden, MK2, Tabletop Pong and more. Lots of new pinball machines and vintage ones too. Air hockey and full sized pool table. Need to order delivery if you want more than chips and other small items. You are able to eat there with outside food or you can walk upstairs or across the street. Great area. Free parking. Restrooms very clean when I was there.

Tilt did a great job of hosting a private event! They were staffed with very friendly and helpful people. The environment was great and I will definitely be back!

Fun little Pinball and arcade place. Fun themed pinball games. One air hockey table and one pool table. Tokens only. Cash only token dispenser. Also an ATM onsite.

Tilt is such a fun place! I grew up with the Addams Family pinball machine and I go here to relive my memories as well as make new ones. Every time I come here I have a great time, it is clean, has a great atmosphere, also has a bar! I love coming here with my husband and can spent hours here having the best time playing all of their machines and games.

A teenager stole my wife?s coat. They have it on camera. Management was not helpful and didn't seem to be concerned. We filed a police report but haven't received an update. Would not recommend.

Super great time and great staff! Pinball machines were in excellent shape and they had both old and new machines. Would definitely recommend checking out!

Super cool, introduced my 6 year old son to what we played when I was his age. They even have excellent pizza. Very family friendly.

Love this place! Great selection of games for all ages. The bar is a great spot for adults to enjoy a beverage or two. There's also a skee ball room that has three lanes which was popular for playing with a larger group. I really like that there's a place like this for people of all ages to enjoy!

We always have such an intensely fun time at Tilt. The games are all straight out of a different era, but the fun we and our kids have is identical. They serve incredible drinks (some labeled after Pacman characters) and have a pay-as-you-play karaoke. Highly recommend as a place to spend an afternoon with the family!

A low-key place, not too crowded and a calm atmosphere with an emphasis on older arcade games like us adults want to see

Good times. Joined the ping pong league here.

Fun for the whole family. Tons of things to keep you entertained. Super friendly service. I just wish they had more 2 person shooter arcade games.

Games seem to rotate pretty regularly, and always impressed that they get some limited editions in. Good selection of beer and mixed drinks are tasty!

We recently found this place and it's amazing! The bar is great for adults or families and the games can entertain the entire family. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful and the food is amazing and is provided by Cultivate Kitchen located in the same building! It's small enough I can keep tabs on the kids without losing them and still play games with my husband. We originally came thinking it would be a fun date night place but now we come as a family too. Awesome place to spend a few hours.

Fun little place. There were quite a few kids running around. Expensive pinball games. Pool tables and foosball tables. Classic videogames.

Had enough FUN for 10 people in just a few hours. Great air hockey table. Took me back 40 years. Friend Danny & I laughed so hard while playing the air hockey table that I nearly fell over. Great clean family arcade. Keep up the great place.

Lots of great machines! Very comfortable, family-friendly vibe, and interesting floor plan. If I lived in Louisville, I'd be here every night! Not sure if they host tournaments, better check with the IFPA.

I enjoy the bar while drinking a beer and chatting with friends. The bartender Carl is just the best. Tilt has plenty of parking too when including the adjacent lot next to Sweet Cow.

Lots of pinball tables and one of the best Ghostbusters pins

Great variety of games, especially pinball and old school video games, games are very well maintained, nice vibe, good selection of local beers, solid burgers from the food partner, friendly staff, and nice location that is easily bikeable and walkable. Top notch place that brings back great memories of an Eighties childhood. Every town needs a place like this!

Went there for date night and was completely surprised it was like teenage me and thirty something me made a bar we both could hang out at . I love this place and we will be going back soon. Bartender was attentive and not pushy always was there when we needed. The vibe was chill and it was family friendly in the afternoon and we will be bringing the kids next time. What a great place with a great vibe. Can't say enough good stuff.

Tilt is fun for the whole family on most days of the week. Stay away on pinball league night (Wednesday). Those people are aggressive and not cool to children.

Tilt is such a fun place for an inexpensive night with friends. The games are fun and bring back nostalgic memories. You can get a drink at the bar and just spend a couple of hours there and only have spent $20! I love it!

Visiting as guest of family who live in the area.Very cool place, but the bartender present tonight is LAME and a very bad reflection on the business. We stopped in to drop some cash on games after a finishing up fun-filled time at Karaoke upstairs at midnight. When we arrived downstairs the bartender immediately began to shut down games, without words or notice. After us playing what we could for 20 mins, he approached my group of 4 and demanded that we "close our tab" (which we did not have) because he wa

The customer service is top-notch and it's a great place for all ages to enjoy. It's a great alternative to bigger arcades where many of the games don't even work. It is well taken care of and a fun place to spend a night out on a date or a family night out.

I love this place! What a great place to bring your kids or adult friends for some fun. I was really impressed with the ambiance. You can have a great craft beer and pizza while you play. Great selection of games and nostalgic pinball machines. Highly recommended to anyone that wants to have fun in a clean, comfortable environment..

Before last weekend, I thought highly of Tilt. My older kids love hanging out here and it's a great place to meet friends and eat pizza. After the generosity of a Tilt employee, it's become one of my favorite places in the area. My daughter took the bus for the first time and promptly lost her bus pass and student ID. While retracing her steps at Tilt, an employee helped her look for them. He found them after she left. He brought her ID and bus pass to her middle school along with a gift card for tokens. Th

I was surprised but not annoyed that this place was so family friendly with a bar in it. Looking forward to taking my toddler when he's older. If you want to play air hockey get there early because the table is dominated by middle school kids by 8pm.

Nice collection of Limited Edition Sterns and Collector's Edition Jersey Jack's. The machines are well taken care of. Friendly staff. It was quite busy for a Wednesday night with League going in and a few private events.

Great family entertainment hub but there's a bar with beer and wine for the adults! Excellent selection of the best arcade games from the 80`s and wide range of pinball, including the latest from Star Wars! A great vibe with friendly staff and equally friendly guests. Come down for a great time!

Tilt! is awesome. A perfect place to spend time with friends in Louisville, and a very quick walk from the dinner spots. After our dinner last night, we wanted to give Tilt! a shot. We were pleasantly surprised by the selection of arcade games from every era, available drinks from the bar, and fun music that's not overpowering. It is a great environment to get a gaming fix in a social atmosphere (and not locked up in your house glued to a television screen!). If you are 5, 25, or 50 years old, you nee

Great bar and arcade. Would have 5 stars if some of the machines did not eat my quarters. Also in same building - comedy club, karaoke, and taco restaurant.

Love this place! Excellent selection of pinball. Unique games, bubble hockey, classic video games. Now also live music, comedians, game shows you can participate in, very cool!

What a fun place to play! Step back in time a bit and play on some pinball machines or digital games. They also have air hockey, skeeball and other games you might not have seen in awhile. Great stop to play for a bit, hang with friends, have a birthday party whether young or old or just reminisce. Go laugh and see if you can set a record on one of the games, I'll bet you have fun here!

Family friendly is for real here all ages can have fun. Not 5 stars as food selection is limited but totally adequate for an arcade.

Great games! Large selection of pinball. Cheap drinks. Pizza too!

After hearing a lot about this place, I stopped by and was relatively dissapointed. There's a lot to love about this place and it has a ton of potential but there are just a few things holding it back. Pros: 1. Great selection of pins. This place has a ton of LE and Premium editions, probably one of the best collection in this regard, and some expensive games that you won't ever find on location. (IE Pirates (CE) etc.) 2. Location is prime. Right in the middle of everything, a walk away from some other gre

Accidentally went on league night, every machine was taken and they were very possessive over the machines, someone even grabbed my girlfriend's shoulder to stop her from playing and said it was taken even though the machine was open. Very unwelcoming environment. Have been before and it's usually fun but the league people were toxic

Very fun, pinball based barcade in a cool part of Louisville. Staff is friendly and always helpful. The pinball games are on somewhat of a rotation but most of the games stick around. It depends on what's being played or not. They have a good selection of old to new pinball machines, I would say about 15 in total. They also have some old school 90?s style arcade games. Definitely a fun place to just kill. Few hours and maybe get a drink or two as well as kick your friends butt in some pinball.

Love this place. Drinks are averaged price, but the games are fun. Any age is allowed in. There's a pretty decent variety of games, some cheaper than others

Nice selection of vintage arcade games and pinball machines, and good beer options at the bar. A fun place to spend some quarters and hang out with friends. The crowd was all ages, and though there were some kids running around, adults of all ages will still enjoy themselves.

Decent-sized barcade that's welcoming to families. Love the beer selection and the often-changing selection of pinball machines. Also love the new addition of 3 ice ball (skeeball) machines in a separate alcove. Even when we're taking a break from games, we can sit and enjoy battling each other on some old-school trivial pursuit cards. Highly recommend!

What a great little spot to spend an evening! The kids always have a great time. We get a pizza, a handful of tokens, and the evening is set. All of the arcade cabinets are clean and well maintained. Lots of pinball to choose from.

This place is pure fun. Classic pinball at least from the 70s and maybe the 60s on up. Air hockey. Even Asteroids, one of the first video games. And a bar that serves not only alcohol, but soft drinks and pizza. A great place for kids and parents alike.

Good game room, having 2 pool tables and and air hockey. Some interesting pinball machines, most are rather modern. All the machines seem to use tokens. Overall a very good spot for a beer and some fun.

Was a really cool place until they changed the coins out for cards which felt like it defeated the point. Manager was also seen drunk on shift multiple times :/

A nice blend of the old and new. Tilt! resides in the basement of the former Louisville cornerstone Blue Parrot restaurant. Packed with 70's, 80's and 90's video and pinball games, there's plenty of nostalgia. But Tilt! offers more by including popular weeknight pinball/ping-pong leagues, local brews (and PBRs if you'd rather), cocktails and birthday/meeting space. Ultimately a fun place that will serve as a new Louisville cornerstone.

Friendly staff and a nice layout. I didn't see any happy hour or specials so that kind of sucked. It's nice to meet up with people there but don't expect any big savings while you have fun.

Excellent and diverse hard cider selection. They have Capri Suns for purchase at a good price! Excellent game selection and they are open fairly late Saturday nights! We had fun!

Tilt is a fun underground barcade and a separate small stage area with a bar for audiences. It's fun for the family and for adults. Food is lack luster, but the entertainment and drink help fix that.

We've been in a few times, usually a very fun laid-back atmosphere. Last night was just the opposite, other reviewers are apt to call it Chuck-E-Cheese with a bar. I do not recommend going in the early evening, only after kids bedtimes. It's a nightmare with kids sitting at the bar and running around with little to no supervision while their parents get loaded. The amount of times I'd turn around and find some little fella breathing down my neck or outright get run into made the experience difficult to enjo

Really nice little place to play a variety of games! They have classic machines like Space Invaders, Dig Dug, but also have skee ball and many pinball machines. Good place to grab a drink and play games.

One of my favorite places. Good beer. Amazing pinball machines, among other arcade games. Bathrooms are always clean. I could apend hours upon hours here. I love this place

attack on mars and medieval madness!! (and great drinks) we come here for a fun time whenever possible They made it green on st paddy's day! My wife had the best game of attack on Mars ever 6 stars (strobe multiball??)

It lives! It's back! Huzzah! I've ready the book Ready Player One half a dozen times and have yearned for the nostalgia the book brought up. It's hard to find an arcade let alone a good one in Colorado. But this is the place. This is it. They've got all sorts of old-school machines mixed in with the new. I am so terribly excited they are back after closing down the first time. This is exciting. Get pumped, y'all!

As you can imagine, an arcade is a pretty noisy place, which is to be expected. The blaring music they played over the top of it, however, pushed the noise level over the edge for most of us- kind of like going to a rock concert in a metal recycling plant. It makes it hard to hear yourself think let alone the person in front of you. I'm hoarse from trying to talk with friends we met there, but outside of that, we loved it and had a great time. I'll definitely go back sometime, but maybe by myself... an

Great old-school video games & pinball. Welcoming basement location w full bar. Machines all in good shape. Mostly newer tables, but a few older ones, too. Bubble & air hockey, too. First rate.

This place is a hidden gem! Very family friendly, we had a blast with our 6 year old son. Reasonable prices on the machines. Clean, fun, and unique.

A unique and fun place to go and hang out the comedy club is great and the arcade is is outstanding. Owners are great people and staff is awesome. The PBR is ice cold. This place is the GOAT.

Tilt is a fun place with a great selection of things to do. The beer options should please anyone. The Tuesday pinball and table tennis leagues are a lot of fun and a great way to make new friends. This is a place to check out and tell your friends about.

Updated from 4 to 5 stars: Great place to play pinball. Beer is a bit expensive but there's a great selection. The premium games are a bit spendy at $1 a play but there are many $.50 games. Someone has put a lot of time and love into the machines. Staff is amazing, knowledgeable, and service is prompt. Pizza and other food available at the bar. 15ish pinball machines, skeeball, DDR, air hockey, bubble hockey, pool, ms pac-man and various other classic arcade games. Don't miss it!

We rented tilt out today and it was so much fun. Great service and good memories. A little pricey and Had to leave quickly when our time wrapped up but other then that we had an amazing time.

Cute little arcade bar in downtown Louisville. Their cleaning procedures are awesome and the games are a ton of fun. Spent $20 here. Was enough to keep us preoccupied for hours.

Great fun for more than just pinball. I also enjoy the classic arcade games of the 80s. Unique clever decor is cool, too. Friendly staff as well. I highly recommend it!

Reasons to love this place: They have pinball, classic video games, ping pong ball, air hockey and pool - they serve beer and wine - they let you pick the music via an app on your phone - and they have free to play: giant connect 4 - giant jenga and bag toss! We rented the whole place out for our last bday party - woo hop!

This place is the best pinball experience in the area. The machines are lovingly maintained and consistently switched out for new machines. The revolving collection of pinball coupled with the clean atmosphere and ALWAYS friendly staff make this a place you HAVE to go to.

Excellent selection of pinball machines combined with a nice variety of 80's retro arcade games. Super friendly staff provides basic bar service, with a few booths where you can eat take-in from neighborhood restaurants.

FOR REALS?!!! This place is crazy cool! How lucky can one community be? Our very own arcade / game room? We can to a fundraiser here. They host birthday parties too. We are talking about air hockey, video games, pinball, a giant Jenga and even life size Connect Four. Yes, I'm serious. Check it out for yourself. You, your friends and family won't be disappointed.

This generous rating is simply because they have pinball machines. Yay pinball! But there is always a scrum of boisterous children, messy and inconsiderate of any etiquette, littering the place. But they do serve a good selection of beer, and have pinball. Yay pinball! However, the prices on their machines are astronomical. The first I have ever seen a machine cost more than a dollar per play. I do want to end on a positive note, so their most redeeming quality, and why they can't get less than 3 stars, i

The bartender Walter keeps me safe and warm in the harsh winter environment. He taught me how to love again. Good environment, family friendly, and well maintained.

Tilt is a great place to take your children to play real video games and pinball. Staff is amazing and good beers on tap.

Fun place, good games. Kids and adults love it!

I like Tillt especially whoever did the murals down the staircase! I hope some of the games get fixed up, I've recently started to just have a beer there because the machines have been eating the money, so be mindful of that and you'll have a great time.

Love this place!!!! Local Louisville arcade bar abs venue. The bartenders are great and friendly, the game selection is pretty good. Always have a super fun time here.

Very nice staff. They maintain the games and space really well, with new games as well as classics.

It's nice to see they change out the games every so often, it keeps every visit fresh :) Medieval Madness will always be our favorite though!

Great selection of pinball games. Games are well maintained. Plenty of limited edition games with some classics thrown in. A must if you are in the area and love pinball.

Frequently Asked Questions

What’s it like visiting an arcade today?

It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.

Is it better to go alone or with friends?

Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.

What should I bring to an arcade?

Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.

What’s the best time to visit an arcade?

Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.

Can I meet new people at arcades?

Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.

Are arcades still just for kids?

Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.

Are there events or tournaments I can join?

Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.

What if I’m not great at arcade games?

No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
