Thunder Alley is a great place for kids and adults. They have several different activities, including bowling, laser tag, laser maze, virtual reality games, and plenty of arcade games. The arcade games aren't expensive and you get several plays. All other activities are priced great as well. The staff is extremely friendly and goes above and beyond to accommodate your needs. My boys and I thoroughly enjoyed the visit and will definitely be back many more times. It's an hour and a half drive for us, and I ha
Came in to play pool and grab a bite to eat. We ordered our pizza and drinks. We're told by the young man that it would be approximately 10-15 minutes. I noticed that the boys shift had ended and he was leaving but we still had not received our food. When we spoke to another employee, we were told that they could either refund the money or make our food. We are still waiting and it has now been an hour since we ordered. Great place to enjoy time with the family but I am highly disappointed in the service w
Good family fun space. Attentive staff. One of the best laser tags I've played. All beacons, generators, and bases were active and worked. Detailed instructional video (not well made but has good information) on scoring points and interacting with the arena. Bowling lanes had older system but it worked well.
It's great place to and enjoy with family and friends this amazing entertainment place that had lots to offer. They have there children play area while you're on the the bowling?Really Lots of games that you can play well. They also have party areas if you want to celebrate special occasions. They also have bar to hang out with your friends. You will end up your day with so much fun! Come see for yourself!
Hand fun with the family bowling while visiting them.
Clean, up to date look, lots of amenities and things to do while others bowl if you prefer not to. Great staff. Overall, it was a great environment and good time
We had a blast! I booked 2 lanes for 15 people and everyone had the beat time! All of our children and Grandchildren n one place having family fun time. The food was good, pizzas, chix strips, zucchini sticks, you name it! And for the adults, beer and cocktails. Ty to all the staff for taking care of us all. We will be back again soon!
Went here recently for a school reward trip, and I had so much fun! The snacks are great, the Lazer Tag is amazing, and the arcade is the best I have seen in a while. Also, bowling was awesome! This place is jam-packed with awesomeness. I highly recommend it.
Best people that work here, best service, best arcade within an hour, best prizes, best bowling alley period. Oh and best prices and deals too! And bowling alley food ain't bad!
I called the day before and reserved 2 lanes for 15 people. They were really friendly when we checked for shoes and the lanes. They have a great choice of food from the snack bar. And they also serve beer and cocktails for the adults. We had a blast, and will definitely come back again for the Neon Bowl.
Had a blast with my family and friends. A young man named Cameron took great care of us. He was a great host for us. He gad a great smile and the best attitude or young man working in a place like this. He made the experience even greater. I hope you get a raise for what he did. We will be going back because of him.
Thunder Alley is a fun and entertaining place to go and hangout... Or even take the family for birthday parties... There's bowling and video games for kids and there's a bar with billiards and darts for adults...
Great place to host a kid's birthday party!!! We had a BLAST, and the staff was super helpful and friendly! Thanks for a GREAT party!
Bowling was okay but arcade was a letdown. My son spent most of his time trying to get bonus tickets on one game and finally landed in the right spot but only got 4 tickets. We spoke to a manager and we were told that's how the game works. It doesn't actually give 1000 tickets? such a disappointment.
It's a fun place for a kids' party. My grandson and his friends enjoyed the Lazer tag, game room, and bowling!
Thunder Alley is a very nice bowling alley. The staff are friendly, helpful, and professional. We use the kids' bowl free app in the summer and love taking the kids over there to bowl. They have a nice little snack bar with some different foods to eat while you bowl. There is an arcade that you can play games in and some other fun activities. It is a very popular place for birthday parties they do an outstanding job taking care of the party and making sure everything is good.
We came to Tennessee from Iowa to visit with our family. My brother-in-law's birthday get together was there. We had a great time and everyone was so nice. We liked it so much we went back with all the kids and bowled. Thank you for a great time
Great place to go enjoy a little time out friendly atmosphere good food.for most all ages
I went hear with my family they were very busy so I was very patient with them got on a waiting list the young lady told us we were number 4 on the wait list no problem we will wait around 30 min go by our buzzer goes off we went to the front counter to be told o we accidentally pressed the wrong button ok no problem wait another 30 mins (still being patient) but just wanted to ask how the list is coming along and now we are 5th in line confused I figured it would work itself out in a short period but then
In town watching my grandson so took him here for some fun. We bowled two games and then played some arcade games. We had a great time and the staff was so friendly, kind, and helpful!
All the new updates are amazing! New indoor go carts, a laser maze challenge, and new arcade games! The snack bar has a great variety to choose from, from hamburgers and hot dogs, to pizza and chicken quesadillas. $2 draft happy hour from 3-7 everyday. If you ever had a bad experience there before give them another try! New owners and staff making things so much better!
This is a great place to bring kids. It's affordable and the staff was very friendly. They have everything you need to entertain little ones. We will definitely be back.
We used to love coming here, but pricing has gotten a bit greedy I was charged full price for my daughter that isn't even 2?? Most places do not charge or have a discounted rate.
I think it was inappropriate for them letting alcohol into a child's birthday party. Which tells me that they don't monitor what's going on in there and to give two small pizzas when you rent the party room for over $200 in a small enough to serve the kids.
Great games and laser tag and a great bowling alley . Great place to take the1 family and have some fun
Our son recently had his birthday party at Thunder Alley and it was a wonderful experience. April was so helpful making sure we had everything we needed. The birthday package was very reasonable and included a roped off space for us, access to laser tag, tokens in the arcade and future tickets for bowling. The kids had a blast. Couldn't have asked for a better time.
This is a very nice bowling alley and the staff are very helpful. If you get bored with bowling, there is an arcade center and lazer tag. Thursday bowling from 5-midnight is just $13 for unlimited bowling. However, for the great price they offer on bowling, they make up for at the concession stand. A large 1 topping pizza is $15 and a medium sized slurpy is $4. Overall it's a fun place to go with family and friends for a good time out.
Sunday unlimited bowling is such a great deal!!! Our family had so much fun. Arcade was so much fun too!!
Great happy hour oysters. Lovely service. Trout dinner was spectacular.
This is a great bowling alley and it has a lot of lines and really good food and it's extremely cheap.
This place use to be great half the games didn't work this time. They need to update and fix games
First year doing Kids Bowl Free program. Great tutorials ?? n the app, especially BOWLING ETIQUETTE! My grandson has really improved his game. Great staff, friendly armosphere. I am looking to purchase a ball and shoes from the pro shop and hopefully get on a team in the fall.
This place is absolutely awesome! They have classic arcade-like games and bowling, as well as Lazer Tag! I highly recommend the Big screen Galaxy game in the arcade!! Many different options, and is hands down best place I've been for families! They also have pretty good pizza and coffee as well! Can't wait for the next time we go! Definitely will be coming back soon!
I am beyond impressed. We had a birthday party for our kiddos and April was so amazing!! The pizza is so good. Bowling so so fun!! I will 100 % be back!
It's a great place for a family gathering and work party it's lot of fun.
My sister and I went with our kids, and they all had a wonderful time. Ranging from toddler to teen, there was plenty for them all to enjoy and we had a great time as well. I'll definitely be going back.
A friend had her daughters birthday party there yesterday. It was supposed to start at 2. It was between 2:15 and 2:30 before they had the previous party's mess cleaned up. It didn't seem very organized. They also had a bunch of kids in shorts and skirts that were too short to be on employees of the establishment. The kids did have fun though.
In town to visit family, went to play tables. The area where the pool tables were didn't have any air conditioning. Very hot. The first person we came across behind the counter was NOT friendly, seemed annoyed and didn't want to be bothered . The pool tables and que sticks were in bad condition. Very disappointed. Bathrooms were not clean
Super fun, family friendly! The staff were so friendly and patient with my children as well! The young girl who was working at the prize area was absolutely wonderful and patient with all the kids. So very nice!
We come hear several times a week and do all our birthday parties here it's great lazer tag games and our favorite billowing main chose this bowling alley is the customer service is great and we feel at home the young man that always goes above and beyond to make us happy with our exsperiance name is Seth but any the guys there know what's goin on and happy to help love this place!!!
We took our grandkids to play in the play area and we paid our fee. We noticed that nobody else paid. There were kids too big to be in there and they were running over the little kids telling them they could not play on the bigger slide. Throwing balls and hitting the small kids. One young adult was laying in the climb area of the small play area and only her kid could climb up then she decided to climb through and go down the slide. It was so disgraceful and irritating that we left without doing anymore ac
My fiance and I went up there and had a great time they have a lot of great games for adults and it was very fun we like going up there I need more pool tables though the thunder Alley my wife loves it up there we are going to go every week for the rest of our lives great place nice place to bring the family but does need more pool tables it was too crowded and there wasn't no pool tables to play on all night they only have two pool tables that is not enough for a big place like that
Kids love this place just to get out of the house. Games, indoor gocarts, bowling, lasermaze, and great snacks. Even an adult beverage station
Definitely recommend Thunder Alley! The kids loved it and it's so affordable! The staff was excellent and very helpful! Good was pretty good as well!
We were at a state tournament with girls, with a huge gap between games. We decided to give this place a try, to get out of the heat for a while. Just started to bowl our 1st game, when I got a call that I was needed back at the ballfield. I went to the front desk, explained what was happening. The manager shut down our lane, saving our spot while I ran back to the fields. We were gone approximately 30 minutes. Came back, and they immediately got us back going! I just know anywhere else, we would've lost ou
Over priced, and employees are always jerks. We reserved 2 lanes because we had 7 people. After 1 game they said they were over booked and kicked us off a lane. The employees exact words when we asked for a refund were "no guess you're just screwed" Last week the power went out after 2 games, they took our names and offered a refund, when we tried to get our refund they offered free games instead, and only gave free games to a few of the people affected. Go to bowlarena for a good atmosphere and smiling fac
Our family went out for a family night to Thunder Alley. Yes there is bowling and arcades. however, there are no longer go carts as advertised. The laser tag was off limits due to a bowling tournament and there was no bowling unless you were in a league. I feel like they could do a better job of making people aware of this so that they don't end up driving and hour to figure that out. The assistants behind the counter were beyond nice and very helpful. This place could be so nice if they put more effort
We recently had my son?s birthday party here and I can't say enough good things about our experience. It was a very busy Sunday afternoon. Our party hostess did an amazing job. Every member of the staff we had contact with was friendly and helpful. The pizza and appetizers were delicious. If you're looking for a fun place to host a kid?s birthday party or just an afternoon of bowling, this place is great.
We enjoy thunder alley it's clean and kid friendly also very affordable. However the staff will allow their friends to walk in and skip line on the wait for lines. Also we have called first thing when they open and ask to reserve lanes and they are quick to always say they are full. Reserving lanes are fine but what happen to walking and and possibly waiting a few minutes for a lane to bowl. If this is how the service is they should tell people the only way you can bowl is have a reservation and have it se
The bathrooms are nasty. The service is aweful. I stood at the counter to pay for the games of bowling we played all while a worker was behind counter on her phone texting. Bought Lazer tag tickets after this and waited hour to play because they didn't have anyone available to run the game. Why not tell that when they sell the tickets? Grandson enjoyed it.
Came here because it was advertised to have go karts. Employee informed us that the go carts were removed months ago. The website hadn't been updated in months. Bowling was just OK. Mechanisms were outdated, as was the scoring and electronics. Overall, it was very underwhelming.
It's a great spot for families to enjoy a reasonably priced night out. Games are cool, food is cheap, go carts are fun and bowling is cheap on special deal nights. The 4 stars only is because these lanes are for pleasure only. Don't come here if you are a real bowler. You will be greatly disappointed in the lane conditions.
Great lanes, friendly staff. During the day is a bit less crowded, but the atmosphere doesn't lack anything.
Frequent visitor here. Wish staff were more diligent about escorting people outside if they are vaping (and it's not just tobacco vapes). This venue has done a lot of maintenance & upgrading inside & it is definitely helping. The kid's play area being relocated to the back of the building away from the front doors is a big plus & it has MUCH better lighting than when it was located up front.
Always really enjoyed bowling here... However the quality if the service has gone down dramatically... Was put in a waiting list for some reason and sat an stared at 4 emotg lanes for 45 mins... Was told they were working through the list... Really then why after 45 kina are these lanes still vacant? Will be going elsewhere mining forward...
I had such a fun time the laser tag was pretty awesome.. But the club sandwiches the lady with the pink hair made was worth the trip alone. It tasted like it was made with love!
Used to go every Thursday how they added leagues and half of the available lane are reserved every week
The entire staff was very professional, an friendly. Staff was very knowledgeable and helped me an my son, an nephews bc it was our very first visit. Just my personal opinion, An extra huge bonus was the female staff were mostly all really cute, or gorgeous women..As a single father , I did enjoy the views, as much as the kids enjoyed the games an etc..
Had a great time with the kids
It's a remodeled fast food place. Looks like a Mexicanized Hardee's. The food was ok, pretty standard small town Mexican food. The setting was very cramped even for average sized party. We are normally sized and had to squeeze into the booth. It's edible.service was kinda awkward.
Had my sons 7 year old birthday party here. They had a blast. We have been here several times. Their arcade is one of the best I've taken my kids to as far as affordability. Highly recommended!
Warning. Every Arcade game that announced the number of winning tickets, Awarded ticket points were actually half or less than what you had won. Cleaner than most arcades, 1/3 of the games were out of order, scam you on winnings.
Family friendly alley. Bumpers go up and down automatically with designated players.
The kiddos love this place For us adults it's a money pit The toys are totally understocked and the ones they do have are so over the top ridiculously tickets overpriced with the tickets that sometimes do not come out of the machines. I only go to this place for the children. At least the children have a place to enjoy and that is appreciated. Hopefully things will calm down with our economy so that we can have more fun twice as often.
It was a fun place and the staff were chill and friendly. I also liked the spinny chairs at the island tables lol. Though when I ordered a cup of lemonade it tasted like baby wipes for some reason and I didn't like it at all..?? I wouldn't recommend that lemonade, it was so weird. Also, the Lazer maze thing wasn't very worth it for $5 :/ you don't get much time in there at all before its over
Absolutely the best place to go for classic gaming entertainment and bowling! Also the best place for families to go! The only thing I was not understanding is the tickets, not sure if they have tickets to collect for prizes on the games or not. Other than that, it was awesome!!!
The game room needs updated and the games are always out of order. The go karts are a lot of fun but should last longer for the price. The tables at the lanes are close and the occupants are overcrowding each other but it's always clean and the employees are always very helpful and nice. Great family atmosphere and we've always felt safe there!
For bowling, this place is great! The lanes are well kept, many weighted balls to choose from and they usually have some good deals on games. There are other things to do here like laser maze, arcade, food, and a bar. On our last trip here the laser maze was not working and half the arcade games were out of order, which is why I have 4 stars over 5.
We did not bowl the evening we went but spent our time in the Arcade. The service counter staff went beyond in being kind and helpful. The kids enjoyed it! The go-carts were fun. Wasn't as clean as I would hope for but we had fun...
There have been great changes to this bowling alley since the new owners took over last summer. The bowling alley is clean, bright and cheery! The food was good. The little play space for young children is a nice option for days that are too hot/wet/cold. Thank you for providing a fun, safe, and clean space for our family to hang out.
I've grown up here so I've always know the people who work here. Of course some come and go but that happens everywhere. The food is great, service is nice, lanes are cool, they even have a thing they do where the lights go out and there's glow in the dark stuff everywhere, the lanes glow, so do the pins. I just love the place so much
My daughter and me signed up for the kids bowl free family package for around 25 dollars me and her can bowl 2 free games a day the whole summer. The staff at thunder alley is great very nice people. I drive from Kingston springs because of the great atmosphere and wonderful staff.
Fun great people afford
Great place for the whole family. Pizza and drinks are great and bowling is amazing. Can't wait to come back
This place is so dirty and gross! How about instead of 4-5 workers sitting around on top of the counter eating, they get up and clean something! 1/2 of the games in the arcade are either out of order or are out of tickets! I seriously cringe anytime someone mentions coming here!
The cleanest bowling alley I have EVER been to! The games are AWESOME and the area there too is clean! It is AMAZING!!
They have games that Dave and Buster's has, but cost a lot less. Nice happy hour on draft beer. Kids bowl free (sign up) 2 games a day from May-Aug.
The kids always enjoy it hereand always Lots of fun. This means it's fun for the whole family. I enjoy getting and adult beverage and making my way to the lanes and starting a game. I also like to get fries and enjoy those as I continue to bowl my family under the table with my awesome bowling style. If you're done with bowling head over to the bar for a refill then hit the go carts and muscle your way past the family again for the win and since you've hit your two beer limit pack up and go home being pr
We went during Metros spring break and were the only ones there, for the second year in a row. Although staff was limited during those times, they did everything to help us when needed. Our kids, aged 3-12, always have a blast there. And their weekly and daily specials are great!
Great place for a family night with a variety of fun activities for all ages
Sick of going into the arcade to waste money on broken machines. And most of the ones that do ?work? enough to take your money don't actually function enough to play. Such a rip off when maybe 1/4 of the machines might work at any one time. Then you have to factor in explaining to your upset child why you are leaving when they didn't do anything wrong. There's really not much else to do in Dickson, so I guess there's not much incentive for the place to care?
Fantastic place to spend the day with my family! Bowling... Game Room... Play Area... all were great, and were only overshadowed by the friendliness of the staff. I feel like I truly found a hidden gem just 20 minutes from Bellevue. We will most certainly be back!
We took our Grand-Daughter there this summer and she got to bowl 2 free games everyday. All we had to pay for were her shoes and extra games! She loved it and so did we. Great summer special for kids! Nice bowling for family fun??
Great. Just wish it was closer to my house. I drive over an hour to bowl there
Horrible Experience. 8 co workers met there at 11am to do the special "2 games and lunch" for $12. The young lady at the counter for starters was extremely rude, and I quote, "All of YOU want the same thing?" Instead of ringing us up separately, she rang it all together so we had no idea if there was tax, whatever. Mind you, no one else was in the building playing. We went to order lunch and they said they had no food. They were unloading their truck. My husband doesn't eat cheese, but the other 6 folks ord
Was very turned off by how rude the staff when my 8 year old son and I try to bowl. I asked how long and was told an hour or more. I said no thanks and person said that's fine we have others that will wait.
Not bad for a bowling alley. The lane condition was good, the approach was clean. Games are reasonably priced. Wednesday will be my choice day at $1/game. Still not a fan of any Brunswick ball returns, my fellow 6'+ bowlers know why. Too bad there is no colorama/strike it rich type games.
It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.
Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.
Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.
Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.
Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.
Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.
Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.
No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
