The food is so amazing...we had lunch there and returned for dinner! Shared crispy green beans while he had chilaquiles adding egg and I enjoyed the baja fish tacos (plain). There was a lot of fish on those tacos. I preferred the chipotle aioli sauce with tacos. For dinner, we had pesto pizza and calamari. (side note, these green beans are 100% better than the ones at The Habit)
This place was good , affordable prices and the service was fast. I'm from L.A and working here for the summer so it's difficult at times finding affordable good food on the island . I ordered the carne asada quesadilla, the red chili /salsa was good and not too spicy . The food tasted fresh it had pico the gallo and avocado. I'm excited to try the rest of the menu .
My wife and I decided to check the arcade and bowling alley out. We had a lot of fun! The staff there were so great. We bowled, played arcade games, and just enjoyed our time there. $9 to bowl, can't beat that. Highly recommend checking this place out if you have time to spare!
Wonderful place to bring the kids after a long day of tourist activities! They were able to enjoy themselves with the variety of games here including air hockey, giant shooting games, and even bowling! It's nice that Avalon has this here for families traveling with children since so much of the island is geared towards adults relaxing and enjoying the view. This place uses point cards that kids use for playing the games and storing their tickets that they win from the games.
This place is a lot of fun if you have some kids who like to play arcade games. It has video games, Skee-Ball, and all sorts of things you can do to earn tickets. The tickets can be redeemed for different prizes, it gets expensive quickly and as all of these arcades you would probably be better off just buying a toy if that is what you want but the fun of this arcade is using and playing all of machines. None of the machines take quarters you put money I card that can be used to activate the game.
Fun idea, but overall a fail. More than half the games in the arcade were "out of order". The basket balls for the Connect4 (fun game!) were torn & super old. Entire arcade was quite dirty & could use a bit of attention.
We didn't play any games, but this place has great energy. The roasted veggie pizza, Cajun sweet potato fries, and mango margarita were all excellent. The prices were reasonable too!
I had fun a lot of the games were broke to be honest and every game I played none of the tickets came out but I didn't want them anyway but I'm pretty sure some of the kids would like them if they played
Happy place for kids and they do have a bar for adults connected to the arcade. Yummy curly fries and pretty wide variety of games for the kiddos. We're regulars here.
The place wasn't that bad the pizza was good. The only reason I gave it 3 stars is because while we were sitting there eating/ resting from walking around all day. My daughter was somewhat laying on her side on the bench and I believe it to be the owner came and said that she or what he said is he was not able to lay there. It was our table and she was not bothering anyone and after spending close to 3 hundred dollars there why are you worried about a little kid resting there for a minute.
We had a few drinks at Three Palms last week but didn't actually play any games. We walked through though and this place looks like fun! Perfect for families. We sat on the patio as it was a beautiful day! The service was great and the place had lots of room to sit and enjoy whatever, food, drinks or games.
If you are on the island now or thinking about visiting the island, don't forget to stop by here or take the kids here
Don't expect much. The arcade is elextremly small. Fine for small kids but not preteen and older. May give you 5 to 10 minutes of fun. Basically the same as a cruise ship arcade. For me personally 1/10, for people with really small kids 5/10.
Returned after a fun time a few years back and was disappointed. Half the games were broken and most were not classic video games but just ?ticket? games. Even the two player games had one player console broken. And 130 tickets got you a handful of cheap candy. Not worth it. Got bored quickly.
The food there was surprisingly amazing and cheap. Got beers and wings on more than one occasion and were never disappointed. I would come back just for that! The arcade was small but they have a few quality games and it's a good way to kill some free time.
My sons and I had a great time, it's a small place but it was fun. Be prepared to spend some money, specially if your kids like the arcade games. In many of the games you get tickets that can be exchanged for look little trinkets, if you want to get something worthwhile then expect to spend some good money so your kids can plant and get a lot of tickets. All and all it was a good experience.
I had a good time playing games here with my boyfriend. Easy to win tickets and a prize. They even have a bowling alley in the back and air hockey.
Brought family to Catalina Island for fall break. Found this place on line. Glad we did. Food and service was quick and very good. We had meat lovers pizza, bone line chicken wings with spicy Thai and a quesadilla. All Great. The place is not fancy - you walk up to counter and order and they bring it to your seat. But great for the family. It is next to a video arcade for kids which was clean and had good games. There is a bowling alley too but we didn't go in or see it.
Great, fun spot!! Good food, fun for the family or even a date. They serve alcoholic beverages too
It's a fine arcade. Small inside so only need to be there for 15 minutes. It is really hot inside and crowded. We rushed so we could get back outside to cooler air.
Awesome place for some games! Lots of games are obvious money traps, but there's a few ones where your skills will translate into lots of tickets. Drinks and fried food right next door too, just wish they had more unique prizes than the standard dollar tree items.
Pretty expensive arcade is very small, but catering to a captive island audience, so keep that in mind. Ticket games are expensive with very small ticket payouts. Air hockey and mini bowling were good (no mis-scored frames). We did not eat any of the food, but menu looked like standard bar food.
This place has Dip n Dots. That's all I got to say... Just kidding. The mini bowling alley is awesome! $5 for 1 game but it's fun. The food is really good actually! The Buffalo wrap was great!
Small arcade, cool games but just be prepared to spend some money to game here, not the cheapest but overall pretty fun. Has a miniature bowling alley which was ok, two lanes. Maximum of 8 players each lane. Bar is next door and the bowling lanes are compact. It was good but could be better.
Haven't been here in forever but the last time I went this place was great. I was in the middle and the only one I knew a lot about was the name and the name of my head that was the name is the one who is this one of those days when I get a chance and see what I sent lmao and I can get you a chance of doing that and I can make it to your office and get the chance to do it for you have no idea how long it would last for a long day but I don't want me to it's not that bad I'm just gonna have a lot to say that
Half hour wait for our food is not ideal. There was a party of about 6 that had an order in front of us that slowed everything down. Still, youd think it would be faster. I think they only had one person making the food in the kitchen so i think that was the problem. I had the carne asada tacos and they were pretty good. Cant beat it at 2 dollars all day, everyday. Id give them another chance to see if they could swing me to 4 or 5 stars.
A fun place for the kids to get what they crave. The game selection was excellent and the ticket reward and prize system was pretty good when compared to Shakey's or Chuck's. It's something we will visit again.
Very unique and somewhat vintage boardwalk throwback - an old school video arcade with games, skeeball, jukebox, and a really fun mini bowling alley! A nice stop while perusing downtown Avalon, but the single drawback is the fact that it's a tourist trap, so everything is RIDICULOUSLY overpriced. Aside from that; helpful, friendly staff, and an overall good time.
I've had fish tacos at 4 other places in Calif- this is the first place to serve red salsa with them. It's supposed to be a creamy cilantro sauce. Go elsewhere!!!
The arcade was average, my son didn't play very much, but the restaurant/bar next door is great! Really good $2 tacos, and the curly fries are awesome!
Fun little arcade with a few notable games that make it worthwhile. Namely Space Invaders and Jurassic Park. Good place to relax after a day of outdoor activities.
Very nice place sort of family oriented, I just went to the bar because they serve food late I got the pizza and the Boneless teriyaki chicken wings and two margaritas delicious.
4.5 starts (lol). My girlfriend and I went to this fun zone with the expectation to mini bowl. it was packed :-( we air hockeyed instead. it was fun and cool, but I wanted to mini bowl lol. next time I come I'll do so and give this place a 5 start. this place is cool and small just like everything else :-)
We arrived at 8:20 pm and the gay inmediatly told us they close in 5 minutes. Why you put 9;00 pm in the website?
The biggest dippin? dots EVER!!!
Really fun but for some games I didn't get my tokens at all for some games even though I one won I won 500 tokens on a claw game and I got none.
Place is pretty run down. They've only got about a dozen arcade games and 2 small bowling lanes. The tacos next door are pretty good though.
Small arcade. Miniature bowling. Average tasting food for above average pricing. $2 tacos are the best deal, however they tasted average (a little bland)
Small, but has a at least a couple of hours of fun
Small arcade the kids had fun. Not expensive at all and a pretty good variety of games. Prizes as usual we're ripoffs.
Great arcade games, for sure. Expect to pay a bit though. A game of Island bowling is fun, but $5 per 10 frames.
I have loved coming to this Arcade since I was a little kid & now I'm a bigger kid @56yrs happy to see "Typhoon ride & still have the bowling like to see more of the big ride type games keep improving 3 Palms, looks like you did great business for 4th & will for entire summer
Nice place for kids to spend an hr. Expensive at a dollar a game. Remember to keep the card to load tokens. Its a dollar everytime if you lose it.
Great little arcade! Came here with some friends and it was a blast! I bought a slide whistle with my tickets and had a great overall experience
Delicious black and blue burger ! A go to for lunch on the island
Plenty of games; shooters, racing, air hockey, pin ball. Place is kept clean and music isn't super loud surprisingly.
Small two lane bowling alley in the back was fun. Good way to spend some time and got the high score in space invaders will check back to see if it was beat next time I'm in.
Great little arcade in Catalina! My kids had a blast spending some time here after a long day of being in the sun. Love the little bowling alley!
The pizza was very good, but the people there were on their phones so much I didn't get my small pizza for 45 minutes.
So much fun! The food is great, and I was completely sucked into Space Invaders for the better part of an hour!
This place is amazing!!! The drinks are amazing and the tacos are the best here! I would definitely recommend anyone to come here again!
It was great. It's a bit pricy though. The prizes could easily be 3$ even if I spent 26$ on the card.
Few arcade games but still a fun locale for teens and kids. Nice little restaurant next door.
Some of the machine did not work because of the wifi but other then that it's a nice place
Pretty cool place! Some decent arcade machines, for some reason almost half of the games are out of service when we were here, what a shame :(
Visited this Arcade during a cruise on the Carnival Inspiration. Wonderful place. They have an fashion bowling alley. Enjoyable.
No free tap water. Isn't that illegal in California?
Great spot , great vibe and food was yummmy . Pizza and wings with a cold Pacifico just what the doctor ordered
Best Pizza..love the chicken pesto, tomato pizza
Very small and very expensive! Kids could only play a few games with 20 bucks. Should be more affordable .
Very great place to take your kids! Not only kids but also for adults. Very great service!!
Great fun, indoor arcade was enjoyable
Its chill. A few game machines were unavailable. Make sure to eat next door though. Same place, tacos for 2 bucks from 3p -5p.
Great find at the end of the Street! Enjoyed the games and especially the tacos!!! Will definitely be back!
The mini bowling was surprisingly a lot of fun. Great for a family time, little ones included!
Very poor, overpriced games. Mostly for small children.. but then again you don't come to Catalina island for an arcade.
Fun place but would love more non-ticket games.
Fun and reasonably priced. A great way to get out of the sun for a while.
Great atmosphere, awesome food, and friendly staff! A must when you are here in Catalina!
Fun place for all ages bar right next to the arcade for the adults.
It's a little smaller than I remember as a child but fun for the whole family
Nice small town arcade...not a big place, but nice.
Great place to share with the family. Very cool small ball bowling alley.
Excellent customer service and fantastic atmosphere ! Had a blast with my son !!!
Creepy guy taking pictures of underage girls and other families. When talking to staff about him they did nothing
A lot of fun for the kids. Food is decent.
Loved the bowling and arcade games. Great end of night fun!
Super fun for all food & drinks excellent.
This placed saved me from being in the rain today! I also enjoyed myself while staying dry
I love the staff and the bar. Definitely a place to go to!!
Fun place to spend for an hour while waiting for the boat to arrive.
Great food, great service and good family environment
Fun. Fun. Fun. Cute place. Pleasant staff. It's decent.
Great bar ,food, and games. Reasonable price
Love there pizza! Good drink selection.
The food very good and the service was excellent and friendly!
The bowling is my favorite part of the arcade. Chill and easy. Island style bowling.
Good food, beer, games what more can I say
It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.
Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.
Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.
Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.
Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.
Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.
Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.
No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
Arcade prize games are a thrilling highlight in 2025! Claw machines, skee-ball, and ticket-redemption games like basketball offer a rush of skill and chance, with rewards like plushies, toys, or electronics up for grabs. Modern machines feature vibrant lights, digital scoreboards, and responsive controls, amplifying the fun. The lively arcade atmosphere, with cheering crowds and buzzing energy, makes every win feel epic.
