Such a fun and unique place with excellent drink deals! We went on a Saturday afternoon and were pleasantly surprised that we could get a table. We ordered a punch bowl to share. Beware - they are easy to drink fast! They also have a super fun menu where you literally roll a 20-sided die to pick your shot. The sweet potato fries were delicious and a huge portion. Our server was sweet and took great care of us while juggling multiple tables. I enjoyed the art on the walls and of course the old school arcade
Can't say enough good things about this place...we (my husband, my cousin and her husband and I) came to Syracuse for a fun weekend. Our first stop was a quick dinner here before a concert. Our server Alex was superb in every way; funny, knowledgeable, and kind. A great guy. Our food was excellent and creative, the atmosphere will put a smile on your face, and the music playing made us really happy. We had several varieties of wings, chicken sandwiches, awesome desserts, delicious mac and cheese, perfect
Real chill dig. Stay wars theme tonight. Small crowd, friendly staff, and good drink prices. Easy conversation and brings in the right crowd. Can't wait to swing back in next time I'm in town
Fantastic service, amazing drinks, wonderful atmosphere with the best staff. The space is small but the staff doubles as live entertainment. They love their jobs and are amazing. Could not recommend more.
Fantastic food (mostly small entr?es) and incredibly friendly staff. Lost of arcade game cabinets (Galiga, Joust, Mortal Combat, etc.) and amazing vibes! Would definitely come here again!
I had an incredible time at Three Lives! They offer not only amazing food but also fun nonalcoholic and alcoholic drinks that really hit the spot with a cool twist. The games there were not only entertaining but also brought back a wave of nostalgia. The staff was exceptional; they were not only great but also very helpful, making my experience even more enjoyable. I was there with my five- and seven-year-old, who also had a great time. I highly recommend Three Lives for a fantastic time out!
I visited this place for this time recently and wasn't sure what to expect. I had looked at their website beforehand, but in my opinion, it doesn't fully reflect the overall vibe of the location. The servers were excellent, but I did have some concerns about the food. The sliders were quite small, which is typical for most places; however, for $18, I was hoping for something more satisfying. One person in my group ordered a burger that was flatter than the slice of cheese on it, and he didn't even bother e
If you're into gaming or retro arcades this is the spot, they have a dozen or more classic arcade games, a really cool food and drink menu! Especially the roll a dice shot menu! Highly recommend, the food is better than the average bar so not a bad place for an atmospheric bite to eat either, prices are average or slightly more than average but only for certain items, the atmosphere and quality make up for that by far
Visiting for the weekend. The decor, video games, and music were all contributing to the vibe. Good beer on tap and we got the Super Nintendies (chicken tenders) with multiple sauces (all great) and a big order of fries. Our bartender/server was fantastic. He was attentive, fun, and polite. He made the experience top notch. Will absolutely come back due to everything being positive about our visit.
We recently checked this place out and we're so glad we did. It's awesome! It's definitely a unique spot. It's a bar with creative cocktails and menu items that had retro arcade games all around. So you can relive the arcade games you played as a kid in a welcoming and friendly atmosphere while having some great food! The food was great. Those Gold BBQ Wings are amazing! The sauce was great and the wings were perfectly crispy. Highly recommended! Their loaded vegan tater tots were very good as well. We a
This place is awesome!!! We had a really fun night here. Everyone working was super friendly and accommodating. The atmosphere was great and prices were very reasonable.
All the drinks were unique and tasted great. We loved rolling the d20 to get a random shot, each one was delicious. They have a selection of non-alcoholic drinks which was super cool to see as well. Fantastic atmosphere with a true dedication to the theme from decor to the menu and even down to how they present the bill. I want to specifically give a shoutout to the staff, particularly Alex who corked our drinks when we had to run to our dinner reservation before we got to drink them.
What a great spot! Met some really cool people here and bartenders are great! Staff is awesome! Definitely roll for shots, it's so fun, and food is excellent!
The food is amazing, with a fun and well curated menu. The drinks are great, with every named cocktail being a fun nod to the tastefully executed theme of the restaurant. The atmosphere is wonderfully comfy and nostalgic, with great retro arcade games. The service is incredible, so much so that even if everything else was just "okay" we'd still come back as often as we could. This place is a rare gem and if you haven't tried it, you're missing out!
Absolutely love this place. Staff is amazing, friendly and funny! The sliders are my go-to but the mac and cheese is also amazing! Fun drink selection, arcade games and gaming videos on the tvs is really nice for someone who like to play video games!
They have gluten free fried chicken! Three Lives has incredible theming, the food was delicious, and drinks are unique and fun! The Super Nintendies are GF, and the tots can be made GF also. They were so good, and I had no reaction later on. Highly recommend! I plan to come back every time we're in town. ?? Update - food is still amazing, but the last few times we've been here, it's the servers who really shine! They're hilarious, helpful, and really make the experience a great one! Always a fun time comin
We had the Charmander sliders and the Wario sliders. We also had the Teafling (Tiefling), draft beers, and the Kirby creamsicle. All were so good! The service was excellent and the aesthetic was so vintage arcade. I loved the potion bottle drinks! We had so much fun here!
My family surprised me with a 60th birthday party at Three Lives! It was such a warm friendly atmosphere. The food was great. The service was fantastic. It was a perfect venue for a Sunday afternoon! We got to celebrate together and watch our the Buffalo Bills game. The video games were a blast! Great times by all!
Three Lives was an interesting experience. I didn't know what to expect going in with its gaming theme and what it would be like. My initial picture of it was a more gaming focused experience vs a restaurant first experience. I was very wrong. It is a restaurant first with a gaming theme and some arcade games to play if you wish. There's nothing inherently wrong with this but hopefully this review helps everyone understand what they are walking into. The food and drinks themselves our party had were great!
We showed up to Three Lives on a snowy day this past weekend. There were 7 of us, and we showed up around 2 pm for a late lunch. The owner was out front shoveling, and welcomed us in with open arms. Everyone who worked there was so friendly and accommodating. The food and drinks were all amazing, so fresh and delicious. And the old school arcade games were a lot of fun too! I cannot recommend this place enough!
Love this place! Awesome drinks, Cool but nerdy vibes, kid friendly too,and the food is very good. I only wasn't a fan of the nintendies because I thought it was a lil odd that they were chicken thighs, but other than that its always an amazing experience and so fun there!
Overcrowded and Terrible Mocktails. They card you even if you don't plan to drink, which is lazy. The non alcoholic Kirby drink was deplorable and even after I returned it I was charged. The waitress is your hostess, which doesn't make sense... Important notes: This is not an accessible or kid friendly space. If you have epilepsy it may be too many lights. If you have social anxiety, well don't go here. The seats are back to back.
If touring the mood for some really great fried food and a fun vibe, this place is it! It's located in a busy part of Armory so park in a nearby lot or chance a sweet street spot within walking distance. The tenders and the tots are perfectly seasoned and fried. The sliders were just the few bits of a burger that we wanted and brought the rest home. We shared the Game Demo with Supernintendies, tots and two sliders. It was a my wife?s biethsay so she ?rolled a shot? and got a delicious shot. The cocktail
We had an awesome time here. Being a gamer for years really enjoyed all the great drinks and options. They were fun and great tasting and different from everywhere else. The food was good but it was shadowed by the atmosphere. Had lots of video games parts and teams with some DnD mixed. We will return. Keep up the great job.
My son and I had the best experience today. We got here for lunch right when they opened and were greeted kindly. The service was professional, courteous, and the food was delicious. The server (Nick) even went of his way to change the programming on the TVs to make sure it was appropriate game-watching for my son. Highly recommend this place and will gladly return when we're in downtown Syracuse!
We didn't try the food so I am not giving it a rating. The food I did see looked pretty good. The drinks were very eclectic and the drink menu was extensive. The roll for shots menu on the back was a great idea and very unique. Even if the shots were really bizarre. The theme is older video games and it delivers in that way very well. It was loud but the atmosphere was pretty cool. I would go back again and try the food. They did say they had a Sunday Brunch.
I really enjoyed the Kirby dreamsicle drink and the Doritos loaded tots :) as a fallout fan I was excited to order blamco mac & cheese but to be honest my partner and I both found it lacking flavor in the cheese sauce. However, the onion rings were great and everything else was great :) there are many arcade games you can play including a couple free ones like Galaga
Such amazing food and drinks! I got the doritos loaded tots and the Yoshi sliders. Their tots are some of the best I've ever had as well as the sliders. I highly recommend getting the garlic basil aoli as well it was so yummy!!! The roll for shots is so fun and all the games they have in there are free to play. The downside is that it's a very small location that gets very busy so you'll most likely be standing if you go at peak times. It was some of the most fun out I've had though and I highly recommend!
Was a fun place with fun drinks, menus, and specials. Love the d-20 roll for shots option. They had a zelda themed special when we went. Fairy potion cocktail and bright eyed crab rangoons (delicious!).
Brought my kids here for dinner, the food was good and we got a kick out of the creative names of the dishes, we had fun playing some of the different games they had. Definitely a fun place to take the kids! Our server was friendly and made the whole experience special - thanks Madison!
This place was absolutely fun! The workers were awesome! And even tho I wasn't really hungry, I did have their french fries and they were delicious! And I got to play Ms Pacman! I hadn't played that arcade game in over 40 years! It brought back wonderful memories of how I met my late husband :)
Got the Mac and cheese with buffalo chicken, the Mac and cheese has no flavor and the chicken was not buffalo. Got the wario sliders, the meat was burnt and had no aioli sauce in it. We created a bowl with hamburger and it was just a straight patty on top of French fries that was also burnt. Only things flavorful was the secret sauce we got with our sweet potato fries
Food was a good quick snack for our family to share and we all had lots of fun playing classic arcade games. Gets a bit crowded at times, but the staff are amazing and make it a truly enjoyable experience.
We stopped here on a Sunday morning on our drive home to Buffalo to get brunch. The staff was so nice and informative on the niche setup of the restaurant. The fries were absolutely amazing, such a cool concept!
Went into Three Lives tonight. Our server was PHENOMENAL. I think his name was Alex maybe? He was so friendly, funny, and personable. He made us feel like we were best friends from the moment we walked in. We had 3 tweens with us & he never made us feel like a burden for refills or new drinks. 10/10 would be back just to have him wait on us again.
Always a fun time of three lives with plenty of community events, video games, friendly people to meet and talk to. While on the more expensive side, the food and drinks are satisfying and there's always new ones coming out, giving you plenty of reasons to come back for more. I also enjoy the bar trivia every Monday
Had a great experience. Staff is attentive, informative, and friendly. The have a gluten free dedicated fryers. Owners and Chef seem to have put a lot of thought into their food, drinks, and concept. Looking forward to the cabinet games being operational (shut down due to covid). I can imagine this place being very packed under typical circumstances--all tables filled up on the Wednesday night I went.
Amazing experience and friendly staff in a gamer/nerd friendly zone. The roll for shot is amazing, even if I got a bad result. My go to in Syracuse for a relaxed time from now on! Wings were AMAZING!
Highly recommended. Bring the family! They'll love the fun menu, atmosphere, food, and games! Shout out to our server, Madison, for making our evening extra special!
I search a burger place on the google map because my husband and I were in "burger mood" for lunch. And we chose this place because of past reviews. What we got was a slider to be exact, but I was convinced that I chose this place for lunch was the right decision. The slider is actually a handcrafted I believe, and tasty, and actually as a woman they were a good size. Not too big easy to eat. And also I really want to tell you one more thing. The french fries on the side were amazing! So we'll definitely ba
You need to bring cash to exchange for coins, or they have an ATM. This is a truly unique experience in Syracuse, NY. When you walk in, there are TVs, not with sports playing, but video games live streaming. There are arcade games that are played with coins, which you can get from the front. We didn't get food, but everyone got a unique cocktail which all had very different glasses. There was even a drink with dry ice!
This is a barcade, and they are fully committed to that theme! From the drink menu to the bathroom walls plastered with comics. It is a small venue, but it packs a punch! The drink options were great, especially if you are adventurous enough to roll for a shot, and the food was good too. I had a veggie burger slider with sweet potato fries that tasted excellent! Worth a stop in for sure!
Great time. Nick the bartender was engaging and fun. My husband and I had a wonderful time at 3 lives. Basil for the win.
We picked this place based on their cocktail selection and were blown away by everything after walking in. The atmosphere is so comfortable and fun! Our server Alex was engaging, personable, and made excellent drink recommendations. We're excited to go back!
Great drinks, great bartenders, fun place. Nick was a wonderful server. Reasonable prices.
I can't speak for the bar/restaurant indoors, but we love the food!! I ordered an off-menu tray of lasagna with mini meatballs for a small family party, and it was amazing! Jon and chef Zach were great to work with to find us a dish for kids and adults. Can't wait to try more of their delicious food!
The food here is great. Bartender and kitchen, great. Atmosphere is a little sketch if you have kids (the staff was super cool, nobody cared that we had kids there), we took our 4 and 7 yos here and they both loved the chicken Nintendos and tots and the burger and wings we had were fire. Definitely coming back on our way thru!
Really great tater tots & creative drink options. The bar is definitely on theme for video games and gamer culture. Unfortunately it was almost impossible to get the attention of a server once we sat down? we were going to order a second round of drinks to enjoy while we played a game or two and it took so long for someone to come to the table & check on us that we just closed out the tab. There were at least 3 servers on the floor and a hostess helping to deliver food & bus tables, so it was a little confu
I loved it here. Everyone was so amazing and friendly. The food and drinks were amazing! Plus you can play video games. What's not to love!?
Had a BLAST here with my friends. From the inventive and fun drink menu to the games and the big TVs with twitch game play streams, it's impossible not to have fun here. The staff is great, talented bartenders.
If you don't like pepper, tell the server first thing! Food was good, love love love the theme and ambiance.
Not what I expected, but Awesome! I googled whiskey bar speakeasy and this popped up because someone wrote a review saying he ?liked? speakeasys. Food was delicious and unique. 1980?s video game vibe. During the afternoon it was well lit and crowd was families with kids but I can see this place would be fun at night. Bartender and regulars were super friendly. Neat drink menu with craft cocktails. A fun experience. I would come back.
Aside from an awesome selection of games and great staff to interact with, I got a Fraser with chicken for five bucks more and can say without a doubt this place has one of, if the, best fried chicken batter recipe I've ever tasted.
I've gone to some awesome game themed bars, but this one takes the cake! It really embraces the theme and creates an experience just by stepping inside. Worth the drive out here!
Cozy arcade bar with delicious drinks and sliders. Super friendly staff. There is a small amount of seating available but the wait wasn't long at all. Sit at the bar and play your favorite game on the big screen.
Good little bar with interesting drinks! They have some arcade games you can play and the staff is great!
I have been going to three lives for a few years now. Normally the service is great and I have a lot of fun. Last night this was just not the case. My friends and I went around 10:00 PM and waited for 20 minutes but a server never came. We then went up to the bar and waited about 5 minutes for our order to even be taken and probably an additional 10 for our drinks to be made. We then sat our table for at least an hour before any staff even acknowledged us and when they did come over it wasn't to see if we n
Amazing. Arrived from out of town at opening. Also the fact that Monday enough for vegan and non-vegan. Sliders were so good I couldn't take a picture but this was what was left of my daughter's gigantic bowl of vegan loaded tots.
Went here on a road trip thru the state and wound up here. Nice selection of games in a small venue, they play young people music (metal and electronica) and it's not the place to go if you're a stuck up yuppy. The food was nice, i ordered the chilli and it kicked my ass like battletoads for the nes! And the mix drinks here are rad!
We love it here! What is not to love about an arcade bar? We always have had great service.
This place was the best. Certainly a local hang and the atmosphere was awesome. I was there on trivia night and just witnessing it all was great fun. The people there were great to listen to regarding all the games they play and all around general conversayion. Three lives is very affirming and open. The best part is that ALL are welcome. Such a great vibe!
My wife and I stopped by here for some food and drinks, and had a great time! The sliders, tater tots, and sauces were great! Also, we were there the day of the eclipse, so it was way more people than the place was used to. Everyone on staff was definitely busy, but still really attentive and nice even under stress. The owner was really nice too! Stop by, have a great time, and tip well!
Syracuse has a barcade downtown?? YES! I experienced this for the first time this past Saturday night. They scan license so every time you come you ?level up? so neat. Retro games from Galaga, Mortal Kombat, Street Fighter, The Simpsons, and more! All the TVs have streams of video games like halo, destiny, saltybet. The drinks are super cool and creative. I had a Health Potion and a Stamina Regen in my pictures! The staff was super friendly, cool, and outgoing. I had a ton of fun and I highly recommend ??
One of the best bar/restaurant concepts and execution I've ever seen. It's all about gaming - retro coin operated games and then live competitive gaming on screens everywhere, just like a sports bar. It's a perfect spot for the gamer in all of us! You wouldn't feel like an outsider if you rarely or haven't gamed in a while and it's an obvious haven for people who live for it. Geeky enough without being intimidating, cool enough without being ironic about the whole thing. Elevated bar food - doesn't try to
We stumbled across this place as we took a trip upstate to see the eclipse and we are so happy we did! The vegan tots and sliders were soo good yum - i love that they added jalapenos! All the staff were super friendly and the owner even gave us a walk through of the menu. We also played the roll for a shot which was super fun and a cool way to play a drinking game. We will definitely be back next time we are in the upstate area.
3 Lives is awesome. We enjoyed a Saturday afternoon with our server Mitch who made the experience so delightful. Our food was delicious, the menu was equally entertaining. Will definitely be back the next time we're in Syracuse!
The environment is fun and adventurous which is fabulous. The owner is always there and talking to customers. The staff is sweet and they create a comfortable atmosphere in particular Casey was so fun and easy to talk to, I miss her! Overall the restaurant and bar is great
Awesome little spot, they are transparent about wait times for food, I love this. They have a d20 that you can roll for a shot, do it! I rolled 17, it was absolutely disgusting, but I don't regret it. The food was legit too. The vibe is great, thank you for the experience.
Five shots, two cocktails and one meal later, this place is still amazing. Idk if it was my waiter Gen or the establishment, but this one of the best outings I've had in Syracuse since moving here a year ago. I'll defiantly be back!!!
Fun bar, good drinks. Little expensive. Small, no dance floor but good atmosphere. I'd def go back.
Three lives was great! The highlight was my celiac niece was able to enjoy gf fried chicken and french fries safely cooked in their dedicated gf fryer. The rest of us loved our sliders and tots. Another highlight was the specialty drinks in their special glassware. The check came in a gamebox. All around super cool experience and great food.
The moment we sat down and Alex came to our table, I knew he believed people can change. He was wearing the sickest Dan Flashes shirt and he fulfilled our sloppy steak order. 5/5 pushed back hair (NOT slicked back). He's literally our new best friend. I would go here every night if we didn't live across the country. The fries and drinks are really damn good and the company is even better.
Are you a nerd? In any sense of the word? Then you're gonna LOVE this place! The decor is fantastic, the drinks and food have super nerdy names, they have arcade machines you can actually play! And everything is delicious - food is excellent portions, and there are great non-alcoholic drinks too! If I lived closer I'd be going at least once a week for the fabulous staff alone. You have to go here!
This place is amazing. Been here twice and it only gets better every time I go. You have to go here!!! Edit because I can't seem to reply to the owner but here goes it. I love the loaded Tots, the chicken nintendies, and the 1 Up burger sliders. I also HIGHLY recommend you take a chance and roll for a shot!
Fun place! Good food. Smash burger was very good. Fast, friendly service. And old school video games to play before or after your meal. Bring your quarters!
The food and atmosphere is top tier. The ower Jon is super friendly! Every employee has a great personality, im always laughing and having a great time when I come. My favorite menu item from Monkey brains is the breakfast bowl, i also love their mac and cheese. ????
Atmosphere is cool thought it was a fun place to hang out. Server thanked us for "kicking out" another group from the seats and complained about only 15% for tips. He didn't know my group knew the other group which is why they gave us the table. 15% is not bad for tips. It is probably not what he was used to when the default selection on the receipt is 20, 25, and 30%. The severs should not be complaining about 15% for tips and should not expect anything more when they complain to other customers about ti
Came here with friends and had a great time! The drinks were delish! I did the roll a shot and got number 11 which was some kind of sweet gin shot. Played some games and shared some laughs. Definitely coming here again!
Top shelf drinks served the right way. Wasn't expecting that! Food is made to order and staff is very engaging and friendly. Cant wait for covid restrictions to end so you can play games as well
If I could give six stars I would. I've been here four times so far and I've been more impressed with every visit. From the vibe to the food and drinks to the atmosphere, I don't have anything but high praise for this establishment. It truly adds value and a different character to the downtown Syracuse area, and brings something different to the bar-restaurant scene in the area. If it isn't the constant showing of gaming streamers or the playing of popular anime, or the great food and personalities, or the
I can't seem to keep myself away from this place. Amazing drinks, great staff and a genuine owner who actually helps his workers. But all of that can't compare to their tots. Seriously, if you don't like drinks, arcade games or general nerdiness, at least stay for the tots.
One of the coolest bars for nerds. You can play some of the arcade games for free. There are TVs all over the place playing Twitch streams (video games) and some consoles you can rent to use at the bar with friends.THE FOOD IS SO GOOD. Get their tater tots. The drinks are all game-themed. If you dont know what to drink, roll a d20 and take a risk! The crew is all friendly and they know how to keep the place running smoothly. I've been there many times, and will continue to throw my money at them.
I really enjoy the atmosphere at three lives. Food is fantastic, their burgers are some of the best I've had and their fry seasoning is superb. Staff is always incredibly welcoming and pleasant! Only complaints I have are that the drinks are a little pricy (but totally expected for a niche bar like this) and that I think they've almost outgrown the space they are in. If you want to stop in later in the night there is barely standing room, if you're even able to go in. (because it's a great bar and everyone
My favorite place in town, easy. The tots are amazing, the staff is great. The drinks are always exciting and interesting. Atmospheric and nerdy AF. Inclusive space. I love it.
Love it here!! Always amazing food AND drinks! The atmosphere makes you feel right at home too. Not like some bars that feel a little unnerving sometimes.
The vibe here was great. Even though the capacity was limited cause of COVID, it was great to still get in with a reservation to have a good bite, a couple strong drinks and the 90s theme nite to really get this adventurer ???back on their quest. The 1-up burger ?? truly stands for it's name - I felt like I got an extra life ??. Need a quick adrenaline ????boost? Punch back a Stamina Regen ?? to really get your energy that kick you need to keep going through the night, and face swaths of demons ?? and mons
When I first walked in. My sense of nostalgia exploded. Seeing old arcade cabinets, took me back. Tvs playing games and Anime. The food which is mainly sliders, delicious. Drinks also good. And the restroom, just awesome. Definitely will go again.
I'm always hyper critical of bars and typically only rate bars on amazing experiences or terrible experiences. I'm a huge speakeasy, prohibition era, whiskey bar kind of guy. I love the classic cocktails as they never fail when made right. I'm also a huge mixology fan, though most places miss the mark. That being said, this bar does everything you can do right, and I'll break my review down into multiple sections, as one paragraph is not enough to describe how great of an experience I had here. Atmosphere:
It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.
Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.
Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.
Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.
Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.
Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.
Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.
No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
Absolutely, retro games in arcades remain a thrilling draw in 2025! Classics like Pac-Man, Space Invaders, and Street Fighter II offer simple yet addictive gameplay, blending nostalgia with timeless challenge. Modern arcade cabinets often feature crisp displays and restored controls, enhancing the experience. These games thrive on quick reflexes and strategy, with vibrant pixel art and iconic soundtracks that spark joy. Arcades host tournaments and leaderboards, fostering a lively community. While modern games dominate, retro titles provide a unique, accessible thrill that keeps arcades buzzing.
