This place is really fun. But it is also very loud. It's basically a dave and busters on front steet but with good food. So if you can handle that, this place is for you. The mac and cheese are the stand-out items for sure they are actually really nice the burgersvare good. But they're not anything to special. The sweet potato fries are very good with the marshmallow dipping sauce. This place is absolutely great for families. Parking is easy for here if you park in the garage next door. The food does take a
The Workz helped us host a Honeymoon bridal shower and it was an amazing event! Service was great by Dri, and event coordinator Khamisha was awesome. I highly recommend The Workz to host at for a special event. We had a fantastic pizza bar that was delicious. We had good food, drinks, games, and conversation flowing all night long! Also a really cool place for a date night. Thank you to the staff at The Workz! ????????
Went on a night with live music. Very nice stage and a concert like feel. Good selection of arcade games. Some claw machines, skee balls, sports and fighting and racing games. Tickets can be redeemed for fun toys.
Outstanding venue to host an event at! The entire staff was incredibly accommodating to our vision, budget, and group size. Event Manager Khamisha, General Manager Michelle, and servers Ruby & Rachel were all amazing and helped make our class reunion for 50 people a massive success. The space was clean & nicely laid out, the food was fantastic, and the rates were fair. Thank you to The Workz!
We got the Bacon Jam Smash and the Workz Smash. Disgusting. The bacon jam smash had MINIMAL jam on it. It was a cluster of dry bacon bits. The burger was so over cooked and dry I couldn't eat it. It tasted like a flavorless frozen burger patty. Honestly it's ridiculous that cooks don't care about the food they push out of their kitchen. My husband's Workz smash burger had the smallest onion ring and a tablespoon of pulled pork. Also extremely over cooked. We will never order again. A complete waste of mon
Pizza was just okay. I ordered a salad and it was pretty good while the rest of our party had pizza that wasn't very good. Went here for an 8-year-old's birthday celebration. It was FREEZING! Even with all the walking around and playing games, we all decided it was best to leave after an hour. It is a big old theater, and I understand it would be hard to keep a certain level of heat, but it felt as though there wasn't any heat, and we were outside! Kids had fun, and a few adults enjoyed some of the games a
The Doc treated all our ailments with great passion and fervor. We really appreciate the great attitudes and attention to detail. I recommend that everyone takes a load off at the Workz and makes some time for some games, fun, food and soul. God bless you all!
I took my girlfriend and her nine-year-old daughter to The Workz on Wednesday night for some games. We didn't try the food, but it smelled great, and there's a bar on-site. They offer two ways to pay: you can either buy credits or pay per hour for unlimited gameplay. The downside of the per-hour option is that you don't earn tickets for prizes, which, while expected, is still a big part of the fun for kids. Some of the games were a bit pricey, with some costing up to 16 credits per play?so if two people pl
This place is a hidden gem. Everything was amazing about this place from the food, drinks , atmosphere and especially the people that work there! Had such a wonderful time. I definitely recommend trying them. If my new favorite place.
Incredibly fun, kid friendly but expensive. We LOVED our visit to the WORKZ. Amazing renovation of a historic Front Street Cuyahoga Falls theater. It's comparable to a ?mini Dave & Busters,? but they deliver the quality experience and friendly service the DB lacks. Two of us dropped over $100 and walked out with some candy, a squishy ball, but priceless memories of a really good time in a really cool place. Returning I'd do light appetizers as the food wasn't really appealing to me in that moment. What
This place is pretty cool! Bar, stage, arcade, and restaurant all in one! There seems to be a small separate seating room, maybe for private parties, but otherwise the seating is right in the middle of the loud, bright arcade floor... so go for a fun time, not a quiet dinner ?? The food was good - nothing mind blowing, but definitely more unique than a standard grille. Slightly expensive, but the location right on the riverfront pedestrian area is great. They have some nice weekly specials and deals (free
I went to this restaurant for the first time today. At first I was a little concerned I wouldn't be able to find something low carbohydrate friendly. But then I saw they had bone in and bone out chicken wings. I got the Cajun seasoning it was to die for. It was so delicious and tasted a little sweet I had to ask if there was sugar in it. Waiter went back to ask the cooks and the answer was no sugar. I also had the baked brussels sprouts with seasoning they were delicious too. They were so good I got a secon
I worked with Azra to plan a surprise birthday party for my daughter's 14th birthday. It was quite short notice, but they were wonderful to work with. Not only was the communication fantastic, but She helped me put together a fun party for a bunch of young teens That they all raved about. I highly recommend Hosting your next party here as they were very flexible and easy to work with. We even were able to bring in our own cake and decorations or use everything that they had. The pricing was very reasonabl
Had a fantastic time with the family tonight. Started off with a game of Duck Bowling, sat down for dinner and finished off the night playing games!!! The Duck Bowling was ALOT MORE FUN than I had anticipated. I do not like to bowl. But this is a great family game. Lanes are short, no bowling shoes... and the balls are easy to handle. Best of all you pick the type of game. You can select three ball frames, two ball or one ball. Plus different lengths. The food was very good. We went on wing night. 6
The worst service I've had in awhile. We made a reservation for my fianc??s birthday and after being seated we waited 30 minutes for someone to take our order, and this was only after we got up and found someone. It took another 15 minutes to get drinks and then our food order wasn't even correct when it finally came out. We had no silverware or napkins and when I asked a staff member for some I was told to ?look at the bar.? The only saving grace is the arcade games but even then we won't be going back.
The speakeasy was fine. Our drinks were pretty good but our waiter wasn't very attentive and couldn't really remember the specials. Staff was extremely unprofessional, for a few reasons. And the popcorn was gross and should be removed from the menu.
This place is more expensive than other indoor arcade places. We had a group of about 30 people there, whom didn't order together and the service was very slow for everyone and the food wasn't very good. They were also out of wings. They also added a 20% tip to everyone's bill but didn't tell them, so some of us double tipped because of the electronic handheld device where we couldn't tell that we were already tipping. When we questioned not being told, when someone finally caught it, the waitress said I've
The Workz is exactly what you think you are getting when you go out. They provide games and drinks and overall solid service. Top of the line organization that costs less than Dave n Busters for similar games. Love this hometown destination for me and my family.
Enjoyed a date night here with my boyfriend! The live band was great! Love the atmosphere! Everything from the food to the games was an amazing experience ! Definitely a hidden gem!
The food and drinks were amazing and the service was just as good, everything here is decently priced and not too expensive. They have alot to offer here with games, events, bowling and music and the aesthetic of the place is amazing i recommend this place if you want to place to go with some friends or family ??
We love The Workz. It's an arcade/gaming atmosphere, but the food is really great! You can play pin bowling and having your food delivered to eat while you bowl or sit at the table. The speakeasy is also a fun time! Great for kids and adults alike, truly has something for everyone.
The games were great but we got 120 minutes of play but no one decided to tell us that they would close before we got to use all of our time and we didn't get to use all of the other card I bought with points or what ever on it for the kids to play the claw machines and stuff since we couldn't use the timed cards for that. I was very disappointed and so were my kids. We were traveling and had never been here before. I wouldn't recommend this place to be honest
Our food was mostly gristle and very little actual meat. Our table was dirty. The only saving grace was our server. Will not be returning.
The food is all frozen, poorly cooked, sometimes served raw still. Quantity over quality. For some reason, a kid *always* pukes. This place is just gross. I'm glad to never have to set foot in here again! It's a great idea in theory but poorly executed and barely "managed." Employees with disabilities told to suck it up because "society doesn't care." Bad vibes all the way.
They are on the right track but they have to tighten up the service a bit. The servers can sometimes wonder off and leave you hanging as if it really takes long to decide what you want to eat. The menu is fairly simple, it's bar food and sandwiches. I also feel they need to lower the token cost of the games. They have a virtual reality machine that cost 20 credits per person so for me and my son to sit and watch a 2 minute virtual ride it cost 40 credits and all you do is sit and watch. Then the claw machin
Michelle was a great waiter for our table! We had 8 children with us and she was catering and patient with our large group! Great atmosphere and food!
Had a great time. Staff was spot on. Great concert. The Workz also has video games, duck pin bowling, bar and also a SpeakEasy in the basement. It's a renovated old movie theater. Very cool.
Food has gone way downhill.. The Mac n cheese was hard to stomach and the cheese sauce was more of a watery soup. The burgers lack flavor and are clearly frozen patties.. Disappointed.. fries were good though!
Great family fun! A great time for adults and kids! Food and drinks were so good! Well priced and great service- will be back!
A smaller version of Dave & Busters located downtown Cuyahoga Falls. The food is similar to you favorite fast food restaurants, but better! And the drinks are definitely worth every penny you'll spend. The only downside to this place is the size, to enjoy it fully you should come before or not when they're busy.
It's not a horrible place to go but some of the employees are rude. We tried to speak to a couple employees and instead of addressing us they looked at us and continued on with their conversation like we didn't exist. The atmosphere isn't horrible. It's a fun little place to have a little fun. There aren't a bunch of games to play but it was fun. We didn't eat but the food smelt great. Pretty much seemed like bar food mostly. A place to go with friends for a competitive night out
Had an amazing experience in the speak easy. Aaron is most amazing mixologist. Food was great, drinks were very unique and kept us wanting more. Will be back Many times.
This is the Speakeazy at the Works. Very cool place. You need a password to get in. Their special is an espresso martini. Great service.
Great little place to take the family for a fun night out. The food is good. Try the mac and cheese. Service is great and everyone was so nice. I will keep this on the list for a return visit.
The Workz is such an amazing and fun place to go! I've been there to just eat lunch and catch up with my mom and most recently went to the Taylor Swift Dance Party. Their food is delicious, they have great drink options, the staff is friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere is just so welcoming. The event last night was so much fun! They had themed drinks, photo op areas, and tickets were only $15! Such a bargain for such a great night! I hope they have a Taylor Swift Dance Party again next year!! ??????
I have to say it, the first time going it was great. I'll leave my old comment for reference . 2nd Visit not great went to speakeasy, the food menu is completely different sadly, no live gentleman playing music, the lighting is to bright for the"speakeasy" experience. There is now a TV hanging on the wall across from the bar seating, and it is more likely to be playing the sports channel, if you want to hear the one bartender complain to the other bartender about other employees, and the women he has met onl
A bit small, but great food, great value. We had a lot of fun and I didn't even use my entire play card! Employees were friendly and didn't mind explaining everything to a newbie. Not too crowded, either! Great place to go have fun!
Bartenders slower than slow, if I own the joint I'd want them pouring drinks as fast as they can that's money in my pocket plus happy customers maybe they need to learn Plus weren't friendly at all
This a hidden fun spot! Located on Front St. In Cuyahoga Falls and access to parking from the rear or on the street. It's an old converted theater with a Speak Easy in the basement on Thursday, Friday and Saturday's. Fun for the family or a group of friends. IT has a variety of menu items to choose from along with a bar. Check this out...
Great venue! Love the speakeasy! Only issue was one employee who was bothered when I interrupted her phone time. Unfortunately, 2 other people in my group who came in separately had the same experience. Otherwise, all the other staff was exceptional! Great drinks! Awesome venue to see a band!
Our 90s band "The Goods" played there this weekend and it was one of the best sounding rooms we've had the pleasure to preform. The food was also tremendous (the Fries and Salads are highly recommended) and the staff really catered to us. We had a good crowd in the pit and many who were with their family and friends left the video arcade and made their way to the front to watch and listen. Can't wait to get back there !
Retro arcade, new virtual reality and pinball games. Duck pin bowling is a new styled bowling on a short lane and pins on a string. Nice atmosphere.
We come here a lot and always have a great experience! But yesterday we had our sons birthday party here and this team killed it! Tim was so helpful and communicated with us constantly, Julia was absolutely AMAZING helping day of and the entire staff was incredible during the party. They were so attentive and fun! We can't say enough good things about this establishment. Perfect place if your looking for a place to have a party! The kids had a blast and we didn't have one hiccup! The team kept checking on u
Rocking live music venue on a Saturday night. Acoustics were great and the 99's tribute band was lively. Lots of cool arcade games and prize machines . Beer was cold. The bartenders were on point and attentive every time I stepped up to the bar. There was food being served until at least 10 or 11.
Went for a work party, was a lot of people sat very close together. Games were fun, service was ok they were very busy, food was ok it's what you'd kinda expect at a game place/bowling alley type setting. Definitely a neat place for a smaller party of people.
The food was so delicious. We had the mac and cheese bowl and it hit every taste bud, would highly recommend.
It was hopping when we got there, and the staff couldn't have been nicer! The place.was clean and we had an absolute blast... DUCK PIN BOWLING, we will totally be back for the pizza and bowling Sunday special.
Good place for some family fun. Games, dinning area (food is good), and a bar area. The place is clean and the staff members are friendly. No VR games.
Wonderful n fun place!! Great hamburgers!! It used to be a movie theater many years ago!! My Dad remembers seeing a movie there in summer of 1966!! The movie was GRAND PRIX
Edit: well they moved the kids eat/play free day to Sunday so we don't come as often now. I came today and the food somehow has gotten worse. They've removed a bunch of games and frankly for the cost it's just not worth it now. It's sad but I just don't see this place surviving much longer. I want to start by saying that my children love this place and we go every Thursday when they have 30 mins of free play and a free meal for kids when an adult buys a meal. The family that owns it seems to be doing a goo
The star rating here really depends on your expectations. If you were looking for a place to host your husband's 36th birthday party with your other adult friends and saw pictures online and thought it'd be a cool place for adults, zero stars. If you were looking for a place to let your kids run around (and probably have a great time) while you attempted to drown out the din with a third margarita, maybe five stars. Hence my three star average.
Fired all the previous staff and our favorite bartenders. We're here for a band night and it's dead. Maybe management should take notice.
Kid friendly, but not too much. The activity's are fun and different from the norm. Grab a drink, play some duck bowling... Search for the Speakeasy. It's a fun night.
Stopped by the speak easy, Ashley the bartender was great! Drinks here are the Rickey I'm home, gatsby, and raspberry bourbon lemonade. Also the charcuterie board. All were fantastic. Great selection and great place to get away from the hustle and bustle upstairs.
Great place to take the kids; let them play all around. Nice place to have a beer while the kids blow off steam.
We had my son's 9th birthday party here during the summer and it was great. The staff that was assigned to the party space was interactive with the kids and made the party easy. I didn't worry about anything and she took care of everything. All the way down to giving the gifts, cutting the cake, serving food....it was so nice. I wish the food options for parties was better. We've had their burgers and other food and it was delicious. The food for the party was essentially frozen pizzas. We also noticed that
Feels like a smaller and cozier Dave N Busters. Even have the same Card Swiping game style too. Very kid friendly and drink friendly too. ????
We came from out of town to watch a specific band for our birthdays. We sat at the bar and ordered food while we waited. The bartenders were very friendly and attentive. Danielle at the hostess stand went above and beyond seating us. Everyone was just so nice . Highly reccomend
Was not what I was expecting at all & I tell you what!!! This place will blow your mind away!! So much FUN & great for the entire family. The staff was Awesome!!
Repeated Disappointment ? Management Needs a Reset. A couple of years ago, I brought my friend here for her birthday. We were met with confusion, missing games, one of our favorites broken, and a staff that seemed completely unaware of what was going on. Even the food was forgettable. We left and said we'd never come back. Fast forward to the Irish Festival - I gave them a second chance. Outside The Workz, staff were offering a promotion: $3 shots with a ticket for 30 minutes of arcade play per drink. I g
Doc was awesome, atmosphere was great, drinks were fantastic.
Really cool and fun place for the family or a date night! Duck bowling!!! Wow super cool!
Loved the Duck Pin Bowling. Food was pretty good, just got appetizers. Service was extremely slow, only had one guy working the bar (he did great for being alone). I would definitely go back, just hope service gets better.
Just a cool place ! Went and seen a band ..pretty awesome set up and nice with all the games to bring kids also
We did the duck pin bowling. It was $25/hour and we got about 4 games in with 2 people. They have lots of good options for entertainment between bowling, VR, and other arcade and carnival style options. Great place to spend an evening!
This redone theater is a lot of fun. There are games for all ages, even us adults. Went on wing Wednesday. Yummy. And we even won the big prize. A purple teddy bear
Ate & played here , with my daughter & grandson, this evening! Had a really good time! Even caught "Happy Hour"! Lol
We did not get food this time, so this review is only about the arcade games. We got the tickets package vs the hourly rate since we wanted to play the claw and prize games. We were a little underwhelmed at how empty they all were. If the prize machines had a prize left you were lucky. The claw machines were just as empty. You could see the bottom of every machine. We still had fun but would have had a better time if things were kept up.
Still has great food & bowling is fun but no longer has games suitable for younger children aimed more at teens Been there 3 times in last year with grandkids left very unhappy last week
Paid $35 for 3 of these old fashioned. Evidently it's served as a shot in a large glass here. (Picture is how I got it at the bar). Hostess let us put in for a 20 minute wait for the speakeasy. When we asked around the 40minute mark, we were informed they were closed. Why let us put our name in?
Went for wing night on Wednesday 02/28/2024. My girlfriend had previously talked about how good the place was and had wanted to go back for awhile. We did the bottomless wings, for 12.99 apiece, which on paper sounds like an excellent deal. We each had limited the amount of food we ate that day to maximize our experience. The wings literally made us sick because the were cooked in old oil. We didn't realize it until after we had a good amount of wings in us. She was able to put down 6, I was able to put dow
Our family had a blast discovering The Workz, bowling, munching and playing games. Such a great revival of an old movie theater. Every family member enjoyed the afternoon. All the staff members were very helpful and friendly.
Made a reservation on a Friday night with family who were on the Autism spectrum not realizing there was going to be live music or how loud it would be. Asked our waitress if there was any way to have our table moved because they were starting to be overwhelmed. The waitress was incredibly accommodating and helped move us to a private party room free of charge where we could eat away from the noise. Service was top notch! Thank you to the staff!
Amazing experience every time. The food is amazing- best pub pretzels I have ever had. The games are fun. Great alcohol selection. Awesome service. Highly recommend.
The ?large pizza? was maybe 12?, cut into child size pieces. Taste was okay but very greasy, they also forgot my blue cheese. It was also cold when it arrived. ??
Disco inferno never fails to please. The food was awesome as usual. Grinche juice is the best.
We used to go here now and then. This was our first time there in about a year. The food was not even close to what it was in the past. My son's wings tasted stale or freezer burned. The service was also really slow on a night that wasn't even busy. I don't know if they were just having a bad night or what. I will be reluctant to give this place another try.
Went in for lunch today for the first time. The bartender was super rude and we were really made to feel like us being there was a huge inconvenience for her. Food was ok, nothing spectacular and absolutely not worth the cost. 3 drinks a piece (I had simple rum & cokes and he had beers), wings and the most basic mac n cheese shouldn't cost $81. It wasn't terrible, but there was nothing to entice us to come back.
The daughter loves to hang out here! and we are actually having fun coming here!
Our waitress is the manager and stepped in due to staffing! Michele was amazing, and we will be back!
Food was good, service was good, and the games were fun. The only complaint is that live music was extremely loud. May be worth going when they don't have a band scheduled.
Went last night for my Birthday, had an amazing night. The food was amazing, the drinks were great and the staff was so friendly, they were so busy but the staff never made you feel like you were bugging them. Everyone was smiling seemed like they really enjoyed their work place. The band absolutely amazing. Wendy the Manager was so accommodating and Sydney went above and beyond.
Great experience, incredible repurposement of a historic site. Once they finish everything (the speak easy) I'll come back and give a full review.
Have been to The Workz multiple times & have loved the atmosphere and the Speak Easy every time we have visited, but this is the first time that we felt rushed and very unwelcome to the place. There was a private event which is fine, but we weren't aware of it until we saw a sign on their front doors saying they closed at a specific time. Felt very rushed and un-welcome and felt like we had to eat and get out of the place. No posts on their social media so that we could plan ahead. If there are future event
Come visit doc and zig in the speakeasy! Had a great time!
I like the live music. Once you buy a pass you realize they don't have very many games. You can get through all of them in 20 minutes. Then you find your self just playing the same games over and over just to use up your credits. Haven't had the food. Beer selection is eh. Staff is nice.
Absolutely horrible garbage. Spent over 250 dollars in this trash can last night, besides our waitress nothing positive to say. I bought 100 dollars in game cards that didn't work, my girlfriend, her friend, my mother and my brother all didn't eat their food because it either raw, spoiled or just nasty. I told the manager last night about this on the phone and was directed to the ?general manager? today. Just got off the phone with Jeremiah and was told ? our owner authorized me to give you 200 credits f
Service was great, all staff members I interacted with were polite, helpful and welcoming. Drinks were perfectly poured and the food was fresh, hot, and delicious. The game prices just seemed a tad bit high but all around a wonderful establishment. Definitely recommend.
It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.
Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.
Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.
Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.
Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.
Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.
Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.
No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
Absolutely, retro games in arcades remain a thrilling draw in 2025! Classics like Pac-Man, Space Invaders, and Street Fighter II offer simple yet addictive gameplay, blending nostalgia with timeless challenge. Modern arcade cabinets often feature crisp displays and restored controls, enhancing the experience. These games thrive on quick reflexes and strategy, with vibrant pixel art and iconic soundtracks that spark joy. Arcades host tournaments and leaderboards, fostering a lively community. While modern games dominate, retro titles provide a unique, accessible thrill that keeps arcades buzzing.
Arcade prize games are a thrilling highlight in 2025! Claw machines, skee-ball, and ticket-redemption games like basketball offer a rush of skill and chance, with rewards like plushies, toys, or electronics up for grabs. Modern machines feature vibrant lights, digital scoreboards, and responsive controls, amplifying the fun. The lively arcade atmosphere, with cheering crowds and buzzing energy, makes every win feel epic.
