This is a great venue. There is so much to do here for adults and children. Adults can chill, play games of chance, drive Slick Willie's race cars, or just have a great day with the kids. The kids' games are abundant. They do a great job organizing and coordinating parties, and the food is good. The prices are market fair value for everything.
I only visited arcade area and it was so fun! They have so many games including multiple claw machines that had really good prizes! I won Philly mascot plush pillow on big claw machine. They have really good selection of game machines. It seems like they have go cart and bar too. Very fun place!!
We recently went to works for an afternoon of fun for my son's birthday. He had a blast, and used his tickets to get a blanket that looks like a chocolate chip cookie. He loves it. Hope to make the trek out from Bethlehem again soon.
Ballocity is a fun place to take kids to be out of the weather. The toddler zone stuff is partially too high for toddlers (the ball tubes) which was a disappointment. But the rest is great and a good way to spend the day. I took kids aged 1 to 11
There's so much to do for all ages. Took my 10 & 13 yo & they had their friends (& siblings) who ranged from 12 down to 2 yo & all of them had a blast! From the slides (where the trampoline park used to be - is 5 & older now) for the bigger kids, to the arcade games for all ages, to the play area where there's stuff for little and big kids it entertained us all for 3 almost 4 hours straight! There's vending machines for snacks and water if needed & a restaurant for food and drinks options. It's definitely a
Go karts for kids and adults, arcade, a kid friendly climbing zone, and a giant slide (the slide was closed. I wish they posted that online). It was a fun area. Though service for the food was a little slow, the guy didn't seem happy to have to wait on us.
I hosted an end of the year party and The Works knocked it out of the park! The price was great, food and service even better. Everyone enjoyed themselves and the game room was exceptionally clean. I will be back!
I have never taken time to create a profile and write a review before, but it was necessary after the disgusting treatment my family and I received tonight at The Works Restaurant. Today was my son?s birthday, and we came to The Works to celebrate his day and ate at the restaurant. We spent over $150, gave a 20% tip and even shared some of his birthday cake with our waitress and other staff. We understood? The Works closes at 10pm, so at 9:45pm we began to get our belongings together. At 9:50pm, after my son
The food quality isn't what it used to be our server was awesome. But we had issues with our food. My aunt's food as well as my brother's was missing and didn't come out with ours. I ordered the salmon gyro and asked for no tomatoes as I can't have any they make me sick my gyro came it had tomatoes we sent it back to be fixed. The people in the kitchen just dug out the tomatoes from my sandwich instead of remaking it and there were still tomatoes in it. The server did comp my meal. The arcade it's awesome
Great place to visit with the whole family. Everyone can have so much fun here. From the younger to the older. And it's safe, big enough to enjoy a lot of activities. Great staff, and one of the best parts is that it's cheap enough to have a few hours of great time as a family??. The kids enjoy trampoline, make them tired, and then go to the carts and / or to the games on the 1st floor??
My company hosted our Christmas party here. We worked with Colleen to set it up, and did go-kart racing, then had dinner and then spent time in the Arcade. The whole evening was fantastic. The pizza room where we ate was a great event space; very cozy and elegant. The food and the staff for our room was great as well, they even let us take home leftovers. Highly recommend hosting an event here, they don't disappoint!
Two stars bc it's fun, but they need to re-work their Go- kart system. We waited 2 hours for our first race, then had to wait another hour for our second when we purchased them together. The staff doesn't give you accurate race times. There is literally no rhym or reason to the process. You can't order tickets online and no one answers the phone EVER.
We had a birthday party for our son at the new Laser Mill last Saturday from 11:30-2:30 and we had the best time. The players ranged from 7-52 and everyone had a blast! I loved how it was 2 floors and had huge windows so the family not playing could still see some of the game going on. The staff was awesome and very helpful. Kudos deserve to go to them! We had the pizza and drinks included in the party package, which they refilled the drinks without us having to ask. I got the fruit tray and cheese/ring bol
This place is amazing! Has it all. Staff is very helpful and did I say all day fun?! Every corner has an activity for all ages. Go karts. Laser tag. Arcade games. Indoor aerial park! Traveled from Philly just to enjoy a day out of the city? GET THERE!
Not very impressed. When The Works was new it had a truly incredible arcade. It's now lackluster. Half the games are just coin-pusher games of chance. A quarter are crane grabbers. The last quarter are actual games, but over half of those, like the whole wall of of Whack a mole, were out of order. Both ski-ball machines were down; I remember them having 8 or more years ago. Several others were partly broken, like the ATV racing. The entire arcade has become very low-effort and poorly-maintained. I used to d
Awesome place, great engineering at its finest. This old factory turned into a fun house for all ages. Bar, restaurant, pizza house, indoor blazing fast go karts, giant rock climbing wall, trampoline sky zone, and arcade! I'm sure I forgot something! This place is awesome, the food at the restaurant was great. Definitely a good time for all ages. Get out to the works and have a good time!
My favorite arcade within a 1 hour drive of Harrisburg. The prices are reasonable- great mix of games. Prize selection is good. Cool claw machines. They also have lots of other activities but I have only ever had a child try ballocity (which is nice).
Great place with fair prices. The only disappointment was that many kids were playing inside Ballocity without wristbands. Why pay if you can let the kid go in free!
i cannot with this place oh my god. my sister got raw steak, her broccoli was hard, my bourbon chicken was sour and the apples tasted like they were sat in the grocery store for 1 month and then cut up and served. i almost threw up. the chicken was over cooked and gross. the best part about this place was the amount of trash talk we did on the food and waiter that we had which she was so rude. to the point where i made a rap song about this trashy place.
What a great place for a daytime first Adult Date to just have fun and be a kid without the kids. If you're looking for a spot to just go have some fun this is your spot. Advice (girls don't wear a dress): Make sure you have clothes to crawl around upstairs so you can find a nice spot to make out, haha.
This place is becoming more and more ghetto as time passes by. When you mix crop tops with pajama pants and Crocs or slippers, along with people smoking pot in the restroom, it does not make for a pleasant family experience. In reply to the owner: Our visit was on saturday, March 29th at approximately 8:00 p.m. the pot was being smoked in the men's restroom. There was a lesson reputable looking gentleman standing at the sink smoking a joint camera along with someone in the farthest bathroom stall smoke in
They really go above and beyond to make your experience welcoming, i requested to get their 4 cheese mac n cheese on top of their pizza special and they happily accomodated much to my delight. And it was so tasty, got bacon and chicken on there it was so cheesy and delicious.
My honest reveiew! When we walked in, the energy wasn't welcoming. The food wasn't up to standard. I ordered brocolli Fettuccine Alfredo, side salad and a mix drink. The sause was creamy with little to no flavor, the noodles were very over cooked. The garlic bread taste like freezer burn! The broccoli was so hard and undesirable. The mix drink taste like a child put it together. Next my husband ordered the chicken Fajitas. They brought one thing out at a time, different people serving the food which is fin
This was our first time there. We took our 3 y/o granddaughter. I had 2 coupons from the clipper magazine! The coupon was $30 for $15. Showed them the coupon they said I have to get it online. I scanned the bar code and nothing but 10% off the restaurant. The young guy said "then they are sold out!" How can you be sold out of a coupon? Don't advertise if you only have so many! I have never heard of anything so ridiculous! NOT very friendly either! Horrible first experience to say the least! So if this is
Awesome place for the kids to have a blast! Lot of games on first floor. On the second floor they have a playground. Keeps kids happy. They also have a menu and party packages. Only flaws is that pizza is way too greasy and you have to pay for playground.
The works is comprised of 4 separate fun experiences- 1. The arcade- fun, pretty clean, very noisy full of modern arcade games. Only downside, it's pricey! 2. Ballocity- 10 years ago this place was awesome! Now, it's dusty, dirty and in need of a complete upgrade and overhaul 3. Extreme air- now a sliding course. Brand new, super fun, extremely expensive, but gorgeous inside ($15/pp/hour) see pictures. 4. Slick willies go karts. My kids (17/19) and husband did this one day and were assaulted by ?professiona
Gio is the best he always is so friendly when he sees me he always makes me feel comfortable and makes me wanna come back and spend more time and money because he's always so welcoming and so helpful. He definitely deserves to go far in life and you should definitely go see him
Went for a large family birthday, 30+ people. Food was good, our server was amazing, and the games were great. Wish we had something like this at home in Oregon!
The long island iced tea tastes like medicine! But gets you feeling good!!!! The service is slow and unless you have all the time in the world I'd skip the food. And go right to the arcade. It's all about the company you keep so we had fun but don't expect much about the dining.
Took grand boys to play they had a great time and so did I playing my favorite arcade came the Wizard of Oz ! Great memories I highly recommend and not really too expensive for something to do!
Absolutely great fun place for kids and adults! It's definitely an all day trip to plan for but there is plenty to do!
Took my kids here, played in ballocity and got sick the next day. It was super dirty in there. Ballocity and some of the arcade machines need a real deep cleaning as you can visibly see the dirt. Never again.
We always have a great time playing the games . My son did the Xtreme Air too he said Basketball & the slide was fun . I just am not as impressed with the food like I used to be I ordered the sampler it was really greasy the boneless chicken was coated with something that made it burnt My hubbies burger was ok this time
This is an absolutely stunning building with multiple venues anything your heart desires they have a top-notch kitchen they have brand new flooring in the arcade areas that is top notch that was finished!! They have an ax throwing bar they have the works of wyomissing area which has any arcade video arcade that you want and they have slick Willies go kart track if you can't have fun here you can't have fun anywhere!!! I would recommend this place to anybody and everybody that has a chance to go
Xtreme air?s advertisement is false, check in people were rude. The whole area was dirty, smelled, workers were on their phones. Only the slides, basketball were open.Zipline and swings weren't even running. what a waste of 12 dollars. I left with my elbow scraped open that needed stitches, nose bleed and my nose scraped open.Would not recommend to anyone.
This place is a lot of fun... they have a restaurant and bar, an arcade that is much better than Dave & Busters, and an indoor go cart track. You'll spend some money, but it's so much fun.
This was our first time visiting The Works. We originally were supposed to go to Knoebels for the day but given the weather (rain all day long) we had to make a change of plans so we started searching on google to find some things that were indoor to do. We have a 12 year old and an 18 month old, so it's very hard to find something that everyone can enjoy. We absolutely loved it here though. One thing I will say, we went on a Monday afternoon and there wasn't any thing to eat, only vending machine items. Ot
Bad experiance. Took daughter for birthday first was laser tag. The packs didnt work they had to pause the game and wound up giving us free passes for another time. My youngest doesnt even want to come back since she was not able to play and the experiance was not good for her. Next was food. Kind of our fault since in the past the food sucked but we gave it another go. I got the appetizer sample...fries were ice cold, potato skins tasted like nothing and the wings were so bad the server had to take a pictu
Oh boy, let's not even get started... All I have to say is people assume because you have children you can't have fun or go on dates. My daughters LOVE the world as much as my wife and I do
Fun spot to hang out especially when it's raining. From arcade games to indoor go karts to indoor axe throwing, you'll definitely find something fun to do. Wish we had a place like this is Florida. The closet we have is D&B and The Works is better!!
Staff members should really inform parents what the extreme air is these days?..instead of letting them buy everything and the kids can't do anything in it. Also we ate at the restaurant and our waitress was horrible! Total waste of money!
My company hosted a work event here. The food was good, the team catered to us quite professionally, and all of the employees charged with serving us were warm and friendly. I can't speak to their wider operation, but this was my first time here, and I thoroughly enjoyed it.
Back again, fun racing. We did the unlimited on a weeknight, and it was a good value if you keep racing. Arcade is pricey. Food was super good and priced well.
Always a great time at the Works! Gio always greets us with a big smile and takes great care of our group of friends. The other workers at the ticket counter are awesome and so helpful too. Andy and Eddie are kind and helpful managers resolving any issues that might take place. Brandon is exceptional in the dining area, always making sure our experience is excellent.
Fabulous Arcade with all your favorite games! Very impressed with layout & content. Biggest customer concern: The staff at the prize counter appeared bored, disinterested in their job, on their phones, & quite honestly unprofessional. Laser Tag was AMAZING ??!!!! Such a great price for a great course & a fun event! Biggest Customer Concern: The staff at the Laser tag were similar in boredom, lack of attention, sitting on phones at front desk, no smiles or saying welcome, & quite honestly the atmosphere w
We like the works and all the things they have for the kids to do.
We went just to the arcade for a couple of hours on NYE and had a blast. For $20 each we bought 115 credits per person and we each played for about 2 hours. I'm sure you could blow through it faster but we kept to the cheaper games. The games cost anywhere from 4-9 credits, with the claw machines being the most expensive to try. The man working behind the counter while the kids picks out prizes was really patient and nice. Thank you!
We really did have a good time there our son who is 5 had a ball. I can only give low marks because the young people working there seemed like they do not like their job at all. Part of the experience is seeing happy smiling faces and that was not our experience, from the young lady bought cupcakes from to the young lady who took our tickets in exchange for prizes. However this is a great place to have some family fun and I cannot and will not deny that.
Kids had fun but only in arcade and go karts, extreme air was not open. Food very pricey
BEWARE!!!! We had my son?s 6th birthday here in October. We were all so excited for a ballocity party. When we arrived, his party was actually being held downstairs in a room rather than up in ballocity. It was a huge let down. No one had communicated prior to party time that it wouldn't be in ballocity. We asked why they overbooked and why no one told us about this when over the phone and in email the party was to be held in ballocity. They claimed they did not overbook and this is just how they did things
We had my son's 5th birthday here on Sunday afternoon. We were in the pizza room. It was very nice in there! Our host was Darla. From start to finish this experience was amazing. Darla was so attentive and great with the kids. While the kids were playing at ballocity, she cleaned up all of our stuff for us so when we came back to get everything put away, it was already done! We will definitely be hosting my kids parties here as they grow up. I highly recommend this venue if your kid is looking for an arcade
Stopped by at Noon to purchase several gift cards for Christmas. It did not happen. Called the listed 877 number and, other than being told they're closed today, I received zero help as to when I could return. Let's just say the person who answered might not have been local. Google Maps has the opening time at 11:30am every day. Not on Tuesdays. Waisted my time and now off to another restaurant. Update your information on Google. Surely I'm not the only one who uses it for quick reference.
Great place for family fun. Go carts, laser tag, and arcade machines all in one place.
We had a great night at The Works for a birthday outing. The food and drinks at the restaurant met our expectations. Our waitress was very helpful with trying to meet our time deadline for the slick carts. At the slick carts, it was worth the money and the staff was extremely helpful and friendly.
came here for my brother's 4th birthday, and we were amazed at how long $30 on the play card got us. we played for an hour straight, with three people using the same card. incredible! after playing we went to get dinner at the same location, and while the food was good (average) the service was great! we were a pretty demanding party because of our little kid, and our waitress did a great job, even though she let us know it was her first day! she was very friendly and really elevated our experience. i can't
very unhappy that I get charged and automatic gratuity. at 18% nonetheless. tipping is optional I tip based on service and food quality. I had to send my food back because it was made wrong and then came back out cold. I should not have to supplement income for servers that's the employer's job to pay their staff a livable wage.
Beware... My kids have been saving machine cards for the extra points for 1-2 years and they changed over to a new scanning system that have bar codes. Same cards, same games, same amount of money we have spent here, but now they will not accept or grant the card set. I feel so sad for them. Guess we will find new place to spend our money.
Go Karting was amazing! Fast track and we got lucky because we got to race some other experienced drivers. Huge arcade, we had tons of fun, and also had a great lunch at their big restaurant.
We were there on Saturday evening with 7 kids. We had planned on going to Xtreme Air and The Laser Mill. The staff at Xtreme Air were very helpful and patient getting everyone registered. We were very thankful for that! We did order food and ate upstairs. The hostesses were also quite helpful with making sure we had everything that we needed since we ordered quite a bit of food. Here comes the downside: we went over to The Laser Mill around 8:15 pm and were told that the last game was at 8:30 pm. The websit
Great atmosphere! Amazing food! Fun games. A little pricey on the food & games but food well worth it & games are fun. 7D ride is cheap & soooooo fun for all ages!! Kids loved the balloon maze & bumper cars. There's a trampoline sky thing I didn't see but I'm sure was pretty cool too...
Awesome laser tag experience! The arena is spacious and well-designed, with plenty of obstacles to hide behind and strategize. The equipment is top-notch and adds to the excitement. Staff members are friendly and ensure everyone has a blast. Perfect for both kids and adults looking for a fun activity. Can't wait to go back for another round!
At The Works, excitement's in store, Arcade games and much, much more. With a mechanical flair, And prizes to share, Bat-Jawn couldn't ask for much more!
My wife , daughter and I stopped in this evening for dinner. My wife had the chicken bacon ranch pizza. Chicken was bland and had no flavor. Also there was no ranch on the pizza. My daughter had the cheese kids pizza. She's 2 so she doesn't really eat a lot. I thought it was alright I had the filet with corn and mashed potato?s The corn on the cob came out cold unseasoned and I would bet microwaved I spoke with the served and he returned it to the kitchen and brought me 2 new pieces. They were
The Works is normally a nice outing for our family. Yesterday was a glaring exception. The young person manning the register at the entrance to the slides area (they said their name was Marinus when asked) looked as though they would have rather been anywhere else in the world. When asked questions, they either grunted or gestured to convey their answer, along with body-language that gave us callous disregard vibes. But, our negative experience didn't stop there. After some time watching our child play
We ate at the restaurant there at opening time (11:30) and it took a little bit for the food to come out, but it was well worth the wait. Servers were great as well. Food ranged between 13 and 19 dollars for the choices we had. Chips came with the meal, fries were 2 dollars more. But the food was very filling. Afterward, we went to the lazer tag portion and played a 30 minute round for 3 of us for 36 dollars. All the gear worked, the staff were good, and the place clean. My daughter is 6 and these option
The kids (ages 2-7) had fun running around and playing in the arcade. The trampoline park was closed for a private event. And the restaurant food was mediocre. All my food came out cold expect for the pizzas.
Had such a great time here at the works prize counter. Gio was the man! Will be back, thanks for such great quality workers!!
Food is decent. The service was struggling. I like the games for my kids, but waiting almost 2 hours for food and check isn't ok.
Food is horrible Game room is ok Claw machines can't win anything ..grabs prize it shakes and then it drops before moving to slot to win
Good gokarts 4? the poutine, wow it was awesome For 10$ it's the best appetizer on earth!! 5? Understaffed at the go-kart counter 4?
The service was horrible. the queso cheese sauce wasn't good. and our waitress forgot about us .and we had to wait 30 minutes just to be served.and our waitress has short pink hair.
When my child was younger, the ballocity play pit was a winner. Now that she's older, we do the arcade downstairs. I give them 2stars and my reasonings are very simple. The games about 50% of them every time we go are not working. Employees at the desk will give you credit if you can tell them which games are not working. However, there are so many out of service I would have to make a list. The credits are automatically deducted from the play card even if the game doesn't work. We wasted a large amount of
Great attractions. Addicting games and really great indoor go carts.
The arcade is fun and the other activities are good. The staff are a bit clueless and the restaurant isn't the greatest. The food tastes great. But the service isn't. A simple dinner can take 2+ hours when there's only 2 tables being utilized in the whole thing.
Ok, I've been coming here with my grandkids for years. I think you're overpriced for entertainment and food. But the kids enjoy it. Until lunch today. Coffee was cold, quesadilla was dried up, and fries were setting awhile. If you're going to charge a higher price for food, please put a thought to the quality of it. Also, we sat there for 35 minutes before we got our food. Please hold yourself accountable for having good quality food! You charge enough for everything else, you should be able to manage to do
My son and his friends are special needs and they don't like the pop balloon game at the works arcade if you can remove it for good
A very good place to take your children to play. I will return very soon since Luis (my son) was delighted with this place.
Kids have a great time here playing arcade games, but the slide park is only fun for maybe an hour or so, and then my kids find it "boring." Wish they had kept some of the trampolines.
Amazing place I take my kids any chance I get
We brought our 3 year old to play in the ball pit/kids fun area as we usually do. There was someone, about the age of a teenager, dressed with a wolf mask on running around chasing kids. Our 3 year old came crying to us because she was scared and wanted to leave. When we complained, nothing was done about this because ?not all the kids were scared?. At the very least, someone wearing a mask in a kids play area is not appropriate. We always have a great time, but not sure if we will continue going if we have
Great place for a kids Birthday Party lots of activities including an indoor go cart track.
Really great place, my nephews laser tag was really fun. Great arcade games.
Place has gone down hill. Staff is unpleasant and unapproachable. They all look miserable and bothered when you need assistance. They seem to be more concerned with personal conversations and their cell phones then helping customers. A lot of the games are broken and take your credits without allowing you to play. Lost out on a quite a few dollars yesterday. Disappointing.
Was unsatisfied with having reservations to be seated in the bar. Then it took 40 mins before we could even order our food. The place was completely under staffed!!! The bill was very expensive due to reordering sodas before our food order was even taken!!! Dinning experience not so great. They need more staff!!! Had a great time at the arcade. Not so much for the go carts. After filling in all the forms, we were told no more adult riders allowed and over an 1 hr wait time for the teens. And BTW the bathro
bro ballacity was the best CAN YOU MAKE A BIG CANNON LIKE OTHER BALLLOCITYS THAT WOULD BE MORE FUN
Lots of fun games but there are a lot of games that are broken and/or will just eat your points without any compensation.
Go Karts! Go Karts! Go karts! The Lazer tag was dope too! Can't wait to go back!
It is like Dave and Busters but with excellent food
It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.
Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.
Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.
Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.
Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.
Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.
Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.
No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
Arcade prize games are a thrilling highlight in 2025! Claw machines, skee-ball, and ticket-redemption games like basketball offer a rush of skill and chance, with rewards like plushies, toys, or electronics up for grabs. Modern machines feature vibrant lights, digital scoreboards, and responsive controls, amplifying the fun. The lively arcade atmosphere, with cheering crowds and buzzing energy, makes every win feel epic.
