The Slice Pizza and Games

We had our 4 yr old granddaughter with us on a rainy Saturday, after looking around for fun indoor things to do- we decided to give The Slice a try. We are glad we did! The pizza was fresh and delish, The staff are friendly and courteous, And the variety of fun arcade games kept us all busy for a couple of hours. The area is small enough to keep an eye on your kids with ample seating area to enjoy your pizza. Hands down one of my new favorite places in town!

I ordered a Personal Pizza and it was Delicious! Cheese was hot and Ooey Gooey stringy! An abundance of the toppings. Food was out quickly and very fresh. Service was Great and restaurant was clean. They had a Arcade in the restaurant for Party's, Families and kids. Or of course anyone whom wants to play and have Pizza! They serve Beer if you just want a good pizza and beer.

Stayed there for over two hours of playing. I took my whole family. We ordered food and the food was brought out quickly. The pizza was pretty good. After we ate we played games. You can play quite a bit of games for 20 dollars. Had an amazing time and my kids loved it as well. Definitely will be going again.

The best part of our whole experience here was the quality of the pizza. Since we've moved to the area, I've been searching for this thin soft type of pizza. Not only was I impressed with the food, but the arcade games are top notch with a game card and vending type of system. My kids went wild. This is a fun little place, especially when you need an indoor activity for kids, plus the food is yummy. I don't really feel like the arcade games are overpriced, and there are machines where you can immediately pick your prizes based on the amount of tickets you've accrued on your game card. There's also a claw machine where you win candy every time, and that's especially rewarding for little kids who might not feel like they can do as well at some of the other games. We had our first experience with The Slice tonight. Everything about it was great! The staff was fantastic. There was a mix up with our pizzas, and the staff was very quick to inform us about it, fix it, and even gave our birthday kiddo $10 of extra game play. We will definitely be going back. My 3 year old even had a good time, and she hates most public places ??

When you order a pizza, make sure to tell them to cook it well done! If not there pizza will get really soggy underneath. But if cooked well done their pizza is surprisingly great! Kids love playing here.

Had my daughters birthday party 3/24! What a fun and fantastic place for any occasion!! The staff was super friendly and welcoming, very accommodating and the kids had a BLAST!! The food was exquisite, we will be going back!!!

We gave each kid $20 and we all played until the food came out. We ordered three meat and pepperoni. The pizza fell apart a bit but it was absolutely delicious. We went on a weekday and there was only three other families.

Was desperate to find a fun place to take my daughter one day when it was raining. Ended up here and had a great time. We played a ton of games. But The Slice makes craft style pizza even though it has a for kids focus! They don't skimp on the cheese or the sauce, and the crust is some of the best I've had in years. I can't say enough kind things about the (staff?) that were involved in preparing my pizza! Once they learned that I was allergic to gluten, they knew instantly what they needed to do! They started with fresh gloves, then by covering a pizza tray with parchment paper and a cauliflower pizza crust. Had my 6yr old son's birthday party there and it's a great inexpensive place to have a birthday party at. Plus the pizza is great too.

First time that we've gone there and we ordered The Dill. Turned out to be a much better quality pizza than most arcade pizza I've had. We were both reluctant yet intrigued by a pickle pizza and it turned out to be so tasty that we would definitely order it again.

It's a very good little arcade with a nice selection of games. Unfortunately when I went they did not have many prizes, but I imagine they just get cleared out during weekends. My 6 year old son loves this place! We spent about an hour eating their delicious pizza and he played games. He only got a $10 game card and had a solid 30 minutes of play time.

We tried the dill pickle pizza and it was delicious. Took about 18 minutes from order to ready. Games are a money pit but they will keep the kids amused.

We love our visits to Slice! The kids love the variety of games and claw machines. The card system for tickets is excellent too. The little prizes are always neat too. The food is tasty and comes out in a timely manner. We're very grateful to have such a fun place to bring the kids for birthdays or just because.

They have a good variety of games and almost everything was in working order. The pizza was a bit greasy but I don't order pizza for the health benefits so I just dabbed it was a napkin, the flavor was fantastic and the crust had a seasoning that made it taste like breadsticks. It wasn't overly crowded and the employees were pleasant and efficient, it was a nice way to spend a few hours with the family!

Fantastic experience!! We had a last minute get together for my sons birthday with about 20 people and the staff were kind and helpful. The kids had a blast, and the whole day was very budget friendly. Not to mention the pizza was awesome! We will definitely be returning!

Honestly I'm really happy with my experience here. I chose here to spend some fun time with my kids after getting back from a 9 day trip and they did NOT DISAPPOINT! First if you haven't been on a Tuesday the arcade games are Half price! We had a blast and realized that our pizza had been tossed. After saying something to the person in the back they made us a completely new pizza ??! How awesome is that! Customer service was top notch I've never had a bad time here!

Okay so.. As an arcade/pizza place, i didn't expect to get the best pizza I've ever had? HOWEVER it is absolutely amazing.. i was pleasantly surprised? their pizza is DAMN GOOD. Our two Grandchildren & us had such a fun time on the Granddaughter's Birthday. The pizza is delicious. We have taken them again also. The only thing was several times they had to swipe their cards to get a machine to finally work, this was quite expensive. If the games were a little less & worked with one swipe it would more preferable for "Slice", & the parents & Grandparents to take them to your establishment. But it was fun for the kids. Please just keep the machines fixed, so it doesn't end up costing

My wife and I love this place! We can get good, fresh pizza, play lots of arcade style games, and just hangout like we did in the 80's and 90's growing up. Its not a huge place and is nothing like Dave & Busters or similar places but I think that's one of the reasons we like it so much, its more reminiscent of a mall arcade back in the day and has its own type of charm. As an added bonus they serve adult beverages so there's no need to get jacked up on Icees!

We love this place! The pizza is so yum and our kids have so much fun with the games. My husband and I usually sneak and play a few of the games ourselves! You collect tickets on a card and you can get prizes at the end or save them and go for a bigger prize!

First time coming here and it will definitely be a repeat. Kiddos had a lot of fun. There's a good variety of games and prizes. The pizza was good as well. It may have just been the time, but despite all the games, it wasn't overly noisy like some arcades are which was a huge plus for us.

Staff are great here. Always greeted with a smile. Pizza is actually good too! They stack on the topings and don't skimp. They have a decent amount of tables but they do get packed on specific days (Friday Saturday etc) The games are fun too. They don't have a ton but have a good selection and the kids love going there to get their tickets, which is digital and on a card system. More importantly is it's clean!!! We have gone a few times and it's always clean no matter the time we arrived. Good place. Go

Went for the first time. Ordered an all meat pizza that did not disappoint! Our pizza had so much pepperoni, sausage, and bacon. Was very satisfying. Kids enjoyed the games. If the game did not work, the staff was very helpful and friendly with assisting to our needs. Also, games are half priced on Tuesday?s. So we will be going back!

We had my son's sixth birthday party there. From the reservation to the day of the party the communication was prompt and kind! The day of the party they were very helpful with ordering and serving and very accommodating! I loved that we could see the kids at the games while we were at the tables! Took my kid there for his 4th birthday. Pizza was great. The games were fun, however it's a bit hot in there. I understand the ovens probably keep it on the warmer side but it made for a little bit of an uncomfortable experience. Other than that the staff was great. Place looked clean.

We had my grandson's birthday here and my daughter reserved a long table and got a package that came with 3 pizzas, drinks and 'tokens' for the kids, which are placed on plastic cards that they can swipe to play the decent selection of arcade games they have. We called and reserved tables for atleast 20 people days before my sons birthday party, and we get there and they give us one table. Our entire party had nowhere to sit while they ate. Finally another birthday party gave us a couple of their tables after we had been there for an hour. They are just unorganized with their planning. If they didn't think they would have the room to accommodate us they should have told me when I made the reservations. My son and his friends still had fun and the pizza was good,

I called in to place an order and the worker who answered was very rude and did not even want to take our order. Then after I only ordered one pizza she quickly told me when it would be done and hung up immediately. Since I was not done with my entire order, I had to now call again. She answered with the same tone and would hardly let me add something to my order. Then again before I could say another word she tried to cut me off and tell me the time and hung up. This experience alone makes me not ever want

They don't serve customers after 8:15pm even though they close at 9. Called to make a to go order and was told their ovens were off because they needed 45 minutes to cool off before they closed? Never heard of that. Seems like they'd cool off just as well after the actual closing time. No manager on duty? No supervisor? Are y'all just letting kids run this place? What a joke ??

We love this place! It's clean and the games all work. The owners and staff are so friendly and helpful! It's my favorite pizza in Cookeville too. We've had a couple birthday parties here and they made it SO easy and fun!

I enjoyed visiting Slice with my family, even if the pizza is overpriced. However, during our last visit someone stole my 7-year-old's game card. We lost money and tickets. The pizza is incredibly greasy. My eldest son threw up after consuming one slice of cheese pizza. My family will not be returning.

This is a good local place for hosting birthday parties. The pizza did not disappoint and there are a fair amount of games; enough to keep you occupied while your pizza is being made. Give them a try if you are wanting to get away from the franchises.

Incredible pizza. Chicken-and-bacon with white sauce is phenomenal. The standard cheese is great, too. Crust isn't greasy, has a great mix of crunchy and chewy elements. Would order their pizza take-out style if I lived closer. It's really that good. I kind of expected this to be almost an afterthought, like Chuck E. Found this place completely by accident. The pizza was fantastic. We tried the pickle pizza as we saw it was something they were famous for. It was so good. Only thing I'd change would be cutting pickles smaller and covering more surface with them. The staff was top notch.

We won a Nintendo switch out of a light machine!! The games are super fun and the pizza is great. It's mid range price for big pizzas. Games are either $1 or .50 cents. They have claw and light machines that you can win prizes in. Excellent experience!!!

Games were a blast!!! We sat our drinks down and one were took unfortunately...lol. one game didn't work, it was the clown one, it just took our tickets. Anyways, cheese pizza was ugh nasty to us unfortunately. Idk how pepperoni and cheese was. Very sorry but being honest from us. Everyone is different though! Toned down version of Chuck E Cheese. Little kids going buckwild. Although, there is nothing more therapeutic than releasing your stress on some clowns with a plastic ball. Pizza is pretty good. Most game are 1$ a play; I wish there were more 50 cent options.

I got it with extra cheese and bacon their lunch special that's $6 and it comes with the soda. For a couple more dollars you can get a beer if you want. But I had to drive home. It was amazing, I would definitely, definitely recommend it.

Me & my grandkids have been here couple of times & we had so much fun! It's not as big as other similar places I've been too but I like that because I usually have at least 3 or 4 kids with me & I want to be able to keep up with them & still let them have a good time! My little one loved the games and I loved the pizza! I got the Cookeville hot chicken and was surprised at how good it was! Will def go again ??
