Well drinks are good. Pinball options are great. Tap beer selection is Good but limited, no fresh food menu. Fun place to play some games and have some cocktails and uninspired beers... Lack of food options will have you leaving if you need to eat.
The Monte Carlo, it's a nice old downtown bar the remodeling they did awhile back is nice it really injected a little life into the place won 100 bucks off a 5 the other day so can't complain
Great place, the machines weren't very hot but the service and drink were worth stopping in for.
Moved away from Billings 20 years ago, but for the last several visits back to Billings, I pop in at least once.
The Monte Bar and Casino, has been around for a very very long time. And is still one of my favorite stops when I'm in the downtown area. No damn karaoke or only craft brew, which has sold me to be one of their customers... The newly remodeled bar and then newly remodeled casino is like a breath of fresh air. I don't know how many pinball machines they have or video games that are available. But it is a bonus and the only place that I know of that maintains that environment for us. I would give it zero stars if I could I have been in the business a lot. Even the tall skinny dude with the long hair and beard knows me and partner. He has always been very nice. I have been living in the Billings area my whole life. I've seen the majority of the bartenders and security. I had come in since I was able to gamble. my wife and I had a bad experience tonight. I don't know if it's the snobby bar tenders/security. But the story is; me and my wife were in the location just trying to gamble after
Lots of good pinball machines, darts, gambling, reasonably priced drinks, friendly staff
Me and my until went inside to play the keno and the bartender tonight was super rude to us. He was tall, skinny and had long black hair a Caucasian man. We came to billings for a night. I would highly suggest the Crystal Lounge instead because they were very hospitable to us and courteous. We were minding our business and my aunt is an elderly woman.
Hosted a FABULOUS Drag Bingo event for with Forward Montana! It was all amazing and we all felt incredibly welcomed. ???? Please have another drag show soon!

Just stopped by the other night with my lady and a few of her coworkers and it's was a very laid back comfortable setting . And one of the gentlemen bartending was amazing with his customer service , and he had me laughing and that's a high bar I don't have many folk get me to genuinely laugh so it was quite refreshing . Anyways, they have pinball machines here and a very nice bar and casino setting . It maybe be valuable to note I made my visit at the end of the night around closing times so about 1:00 am
The staff are all very nice and they're quite knowledgeable about a large variety of drinks, but the vibes when we showed up around 10pm on a Friday night were a bit dead. I'm not a regular, so maybe it was an off night, but if you like a clean and cool spot then this is worth checking out at least once.
Took forever to get a bartender?s attention, once we did order & get drinks we were told the cost was $25, no problem gave card & wanted to close it. He disappeared, had to go to other side of bar to get his attention to close, brought slip over & had charged us $30? Traded ID for the Darts, outta 7 only 3 had tips on them.. My fianc? and I felt very unwelcome here. Took us 20 minutes to get our drinks (only ones waiting too), only to be judged by the bartender because I wanted something nonalcoholic (his eyes did roll when I asked for a coke). I came here for the pinball machines and had a great time playing those, but the vibe in the bar is very niche.

I absolutely love the pinball games! We go there a lot when it's cold outside to enjoy indoor fun. The drinks are a bit weak.
Horrible experience!!! Bartender was rude and super condescending. My boyfriend and I stop by there often and the service is never great but the other night it was exceptionally bad. My boyfriend had a few dollars in quarters, dimes and nickels that he wantead to turn in for dollar bills. The bartender intentionally dropped it on the floor and then refused to double check for the change after telling my boyfriend he didn't have enough change to turn in for the dollar. Absolutely disgusting!!!
Bound to meet up with someone you know from some where else. Great music played over speakers and on jukebox. They make a tasty drink every time. Usually win on playing the machines. Lots of fun people come and go.

Probaly the last best place in Billings. Jason and the late owners Daughter really go out the way,to make your time good. Steel tip dart boards,pinball,good machines and drinks. A good old school bar,with a new school feel.
Fun,medium age fellers and yellers. Too bad the arcade doesn't allow kids. I wish they would allow kids during a certain time.
Bar tenders are also the casino attendants, if you are a local or regular they treat you like family, if you stop in to gamble and they don't know you, you are treated like vermont, met with scoffs, and yelled at to cash out 20 minutes before closing. I won't go back. And a vacuum can't be that difficult to obtain.
The monte is one of my favorite spots in Billings, the staff are both hilarious and fun. The crowd is laid back but talkative and if the mood hits you there is pinball!

I go there to get away from the main stream casinos. I don't gamble alot but I like to be able to relax when I do.
