Went for a birthday party and they didn't seem aware of the booking from a month prior room wasn't set up or ready and initially they tried to act like the total wasn't already paid. Older woman who was working and running events tried to act kind but it seemed very fake and forced. Once tables were set the scissors were left sitting in the room for the kids so we moved those out the way room was small and there's gum on the floors pizza box cut outs covering vents the laser tag over look wasn't available t
My co workers and I love going here! Can't beat the price for laser tag, mini golf and mini bowling. My team are all students from GVSU. So it says a lot I think that we all find it worth the drive. We called yesterday to confirm before driving out and Melanie was so helpful and accommodating. When we arrived there was a guy that helped us all out. Thank you so much for being a fun spot to stop, great price point and a cool break from the outdoors.
Fun night for three teens and Mom and Dad too. We were in town for a Midwest vacation and spent an evening here. The guys liked the laser tag and ski ball is always a win. All the games were working, in good condition, and clean. The teens still wanted to turn their tickets in for some swag. They might be teens but still like their tickets. This place is worth a stop and very clean and well maintained which isn't always true of gaming centers these days. Thanks for a fun night!
My twelve year old daughter loves laser tag, so I knew we had to book her birthday party at The Lost City. The staff was amazing and so helpful, our party coordinator Melannie (i probably spelled her name wrong, I'm so sorry), she was so sweet and wonderful. Our party room was set up when we arrived, they had a general schedule of our time so that we could fit in all of our activities, honestly the best experience we've had booking a party anywhere. The arena is the same layout from when I was a teen, but w
Celebrated my birthday today with a spontaneous trip to our local arcade spot and I don't regret it! We spent a good hour and a half playing Route 66 bowling, arcade and glow in the dark golf for less than 80.00 for our family of 5!! New games have been added and a great prize selection as well!
The mini golf is always a hit with my young boys. Place was pretty empty and just like the other reviews said super clean! I know we have 3 places for family fun in Holland and I hope enough people can find it in their budget to keep neat little spots like this around for years to come.
We hosted a birthday party for our child here and it was a great decision. Melanie & Jacob were working that night and went above and beyond to make it a ton of fun. They had a room setup and waiting for us, had a schedule, and were constantly checking in to make sure we were taken care of. If you are looking for a place to host a kid's birthday party I know all of the kids left and thought it was the best.
Such a great place for a birthday party. Tons of game options to go along with laser tag, bowling, and mini golf. The food and staff were amazing.
The staff was AMAZING! The mini golf area is too dark and not enough room to move around. The bowling game was out of service. Laser tag was so much FUN!! The machine deducted credits off my card but the machine itself was not working. They did add the credits back to my card though. The staff was AMAZING!!
Super fun family experience! Beware!!!games cost like 15-40 credited a pop. So 100 won't go very far. Nothing wrong, but it can be misleading if you aren't familiar with the place. We played laser tag too. Super fun, only had my family (5 people) so we did free for all, fun arena. Really big too. The games were in good condition. Some of them were kind of a rip off, but it's an arcade, sooo..... The lady at the counter was super friendly and gave us extra tokens when a game malfunctioned and strained ou
We went on a Sunday evening. First, they lost our reservations. And they only had 2 people staffing the entire place. One lady was staffing the main counter, the food counter and the prize area all by herself. Although she did the best she could for the situation she was in. And I thought the arcade/building was quite small for a venue like this.
My son spent his 11th birthday at the Lost City ... 10 boys playing laser tag, putt putt and arcades for 2 hours? YES, please. The staff was incredibly accommodating and helpful. And the space is just the right size to let kids be free for a few hours.
Ashawna & the gentleman running from laser tag to kitchen deserve a pay raise. They did amazing for Sunday madness. You would have never guessed there was only 2 employees. Definitely looking forward to our next visit.
Booked my sons birthday party and not only was it easy to book but my kids and their friends had so much to do and definitely kept them busy the full 3 hours we where there! A huge thank you to lost city and specially Ashawna who checked in on us and made sure we had everything we needed and more! Will for sure book again
Great time with laser tag, bowling and putt putt with 3 adults and a 2nd and 6th grader. Melanie and Ryan brought outstanding customer service and friendliness to a new high. Will be back with all the "kids" and grandkids.
The cashier could use more compassion and customer service skills. Do better and just do your job you were very unprofessional in front of my child. Smh we we're excited to do mini golf and play games with our family but we felt uncomfortable and we left and went to Bam.
Took our whole family of 17 4 years old to 65 everyone had a wonderful time. Service was spectacular ( Jacob went above and beyond for the little ones while the big kids were playing laser tag). Good value and a great time!
We hosted our event at the lost city and had a wonderful time. The staff there are very kind and helpful, the assortment of arcade machines is nice and the pizza is good! Lazer tag is complicated at first, it took us a round just to figure out what was going on, but thanks to a great Friday night deal they run here, we got unlimited rounds, so once we got rolling it was a blast. Everyone walked away glad they came! Thanks again to the owner and staff!
We had a na awesome time for my son's 9th birthday party Melanie and Ryan were awesome to deal with. Kids had some much fun with laser tag it was a great experience
A good variety of games as well as laser tag that looked like it would be a fun time for kids. They have old-school tickets that you get to collect from the arcade games. Not a huge selection for prizes but I was able to walk away with some miniture Holland clogs as a nice souvenir from a weekend vacation.
This place was amazing!! Our first time here was exceptional, the team working here was so nice and kind. They helped explain all the games and were so wonderful!! The arcade was fun as was the laser tag. We will certainly be back!!
I planned my son's 10th birthday at The Lost City and everything was amazing! We did the Ultimate Package for 3 hours for 20 kids. They require that you order food and pizza through them, which I was more than a little apprehensive about. I didn't want it to be cheap quality, frozen style pizza. I was so wrong! The pizza was amazing, and the crust was homemade. Everyone raved about how good the pizza was. Kevin, our party host went above and beyond to make sure we had a great experience. Kevin consistently
Great time playing random games and laser tag with family members. Was not real busy when we went and got free rain of the place which was nice. Part of our party package was pizza and soda. Sadly the pizza may have been one of the most greasy pizzas I have ever seen. Over all it was real blast and everyone had fun.
Great place for entertainment . If u wanna sweat Lazer tag is the place to go. Mini golf was fun there is also mini bowling n lots of arcade games
Ryan was absolutely fabulous. We had grandchildren with us and he explained all the games, solved any problems we had with the games ASAP, and most importantly was kind and caring. We will definitely be taking the grandchildren again. The prices were reasonable and we even hit a Monday special. Thanks for making our experience memorable.
HUGE shout to Kev & Shawna. We brought our Fruitport High & Middle School Campus Life groups down & they were incredibly helpful & accommodating. Kev was great with our kids making sure they understood the rules of laser tag AND he was great hyping them up before each game. I also watched as Kev took care of a dad and his young son who played at the same time as us, making sure the son had a vest and blaster that fit him properly. Shawna cranked out 5 pizzas within a half hour so our group could have dinn
We went here and Jacob showed us around, what a awesome dude. Lost city is awesome but Jacob is even more awesomer. Pleasure to meet you keep being freaking sick! ??????
Had alot of fun.. They have specials for different days of the week. The laser tag here is pretty cool. Very reasonable prices..
I love their laser tag, but every time I come here and play, I get sick for 2-3 days. Last year, I got a fever, six months ago, I got Covid, and last Sunday, I got the norovirus. All three times I got sick and missed work last year just happens to be right when I play laser tag. I don't know if it's happenstance or I get the equipment from someone who was sick, but I am destined to get sick if I play.
The laser tag was great! Ryan made sure the kids had a great time, he was great! The mini golf was your standard mini golf. The arcade was SUPER over priced! You ran through credits like crazy, because most games were 30+ credits per play. The art work was awesome!
We had a blast at all you can play Laser Tag, one of the best arenas in the West Michigan area for sure!
Used to be a great affordable place that you could justify having a family day at. Now it's become like everything else expensive and low quality. It cost as much as bam?s.. just go to bam?s
We had a fun family night at Lost City! Laser tag, indoor mini golf and arcade.
This place is amazing. The Laser Tag was one of the best I've played, there were some really fun arcade games, mini golf, and the pizza was delicious. I went there for a class trip and would love to go again. Thank you for the experience!
Had our youngest son's birthday party here. The staff was professional and the party was a blast and well run. The staff scheduled out the activities well, so we were able to pace out the activities during the 2 hour party without feeling rushed or bored between them. The pizza was also surprisingly good. The other party venues we've been to for our kids the food has been fine, but obviously isn't really a strong point. The stuff here was very, very good.
Travelled to Holland from the SE side of the state for a week stay and had this place eagerly pegged for a rainy day activity. Prices felt quite steep for a family of 5 from the get go but if it lived up to some basic expectations, we were going to be ok with it. It did NOT do that. Right off the get go, the arcade is quite small and when you see how many credits are required for some fairly basic games (10-40 credits PER PLAY of a 125 package), your game play is over before it begins. Kids see a game, qui
Just had our daughters 6th birthday hosted here and had an AMAZING time. The owner went the extra mile to create a great party. I would highly recommend the ultimate package as we were busy the whole time and the kids had so much fun !!! Such an great experience! Highly recommend!!!
UPDATE: a year after our first trip we came back and still in great shape. Staff was friendly (which is rare in arcades). ORIGINAL: As an adult couple, we enjoy going to play interactive arcade games at various locations, and this one didn't disappoint. With new credit card style credit/ticket play cards, it was easy to cash out tickets. This also prevented the hastle of a pocket full of coins. They have a good selection of physical games and skill games. Staff was great and place was clean and safe. Only 1
We went here for a youth group event and the staff was extremely accommodating. They met all of our needs and our students had a great time and already want to go back. The ?Fire Til You Tire? was a great experience and the best laser tag that any of us had ever done. The quality was top notch. Most importantly their staff were great hosts to us and continually checked in to ensure we were having a great time.
Wow, just left this place and soo disappointed. We went in to play mineture golf and enjoy the arcade but due to the lack of any form of AC or even fans to move the air, it was ridiculously ??hot. I tried to give them the benefit of the doubt that maybe their AC just broke but the worker said, " it only kinda works In the one corner" ...nope, still the same heat ?? everywhere. It's too bad, the place is fairly well kept otherwise.
We saw they were offering a date night package on Thursdays in October so my husband I decided to have a night out! It was a fantastic value and we had so much fun with mini bowling and the arcade games! It's a clean, family- friendly space and they had great pizza!
We had our son's 13th birthday party here, and we are very happy with how everything went. I wish I got the female's name at the front desk; she was phenomenal. From the moment we walked in the front door, she was super nice, friendly, and helpful. Everything was all set up for us, and the employees checked on us multiple times to make sure everything was going well. Super happy with how it all went. My 9 year old wants his next party there in the spring!
The staff was very friendly. I'm going to say something unpopular here. The lost city has a Ghostbusters pinball machine. It's quite possible that this is the best thing in Holland. I know I know. There are many wooden shoes to be seen and the beauty of the many parks. As a fan of wood I think that the one thing that shouldn't be made out of it is shoes. It's just a misuse of materials. That being said on a rainy day there is nothing more enjoyable than playing a good pinball machine. The Lost City is a hav
Love this place! The laser tag arena is so fun and the staff is very friendly
Not may games didn't do the laser tag so that might be cool
NO AIRCONDITIONING *** Avoid this place!! My son and I went here to cool off and play some games and laser tag. It was cooler outside than in the building. The only room that had working Air Conditioning was the laser tag room. I asked the employee working what was up with the A/C. He said,? it hasn't worked all year and he heard it's too expensive to fix $13k per unit and there are six of them that need to be replaced.? Look at my picture they are trying to cool this huge place with high ceilings with
Good place for laser tag. "Fire til you tire" is a great value to play for a couple hours. Small arcade and mini golf too
This arcade and laser tag venue has a cool old school vibe to it. I live over an hour away, but it's always worth the drive to me. The laser tag room is big and multi-layered, a ton of fun. The tokens for the arcade games are super affordable, and the machines give enough tickets to make it fun. Staff was friendly and seemed happy to have you there. It's a great place, and it's really nice to have places like this still around to bring your kids to. We're really thankful for The Lost City. Full recommendat
The best laser tag arena around! Their miniature bowling lanes are cool too. Always friendly staff and owners are very accommodating! Great place to host a birthday party that will talked about until the next one!
We had my son's 6th birthday party there today. The kids had a blast! The arcade games were fun and so was laser tag. We booked a room and everyone who helped us was super helpful and kind! Everything was set up when we got there, and it was so much cheaper than going to other places in town! I would definitely recommend their party packages to friends and would book again with them! Thanks for a great day!
We had a blast celebrating our son?s birthday at the lost city. The cost was great for what you get and the staff was so friendly and welcoming. I would book a birthday party there again. Thank you for making it so special!
Horrible start of this place tried to book birthday party and there description of what included isnt true. Selected package which includes 2 two topping pizza... But when select charges you extra at the end.. no tab to contact host either. We will go else where
Today was our first time visiting and we'll be back. At first entry the place seemed small and cramped but as you navigate, it opens up and was just the right size for our little ones. Our two and three year Olds found plenty to do, the mini bowling and claw machines were the favorite. I liked that many were 'play till you win'. The place was under staffed, though hardly noticeable as the two young staff members running the place were effective at hopping around and helping as needed, I was impressed but t
We were there for 45 minutes and didn't see one worker so we played putt putt for free. You pay for credits but the games cost so many credits you barely get to play. 10x a bigger waste of money then Dave & Buster?s
The laser tag is awesome, and it was recently updated. The arcade needs a little work but it is still fun. The mini golf can be a little clunky but not bad. The mini bowling is a little finicky but really fun. The prices are very reasonable and I would say cheap.
My nephew was in town for the week and we wanted to take him to our favorite arcade in town! Bonus?.they also have laser tag! Unfortunately, after we arrived it was very apparent that this would no longer be our favorite arcade. Not only did they jump on the corporate bandwagon and get rid of the best part of a true original arcade (tokens & tickets), they also blocked out and entire 2 hours for a group of teenagers to play laser tag. We had two adults and two 8 year olds in our group so we asked the w
Awesome space for a party or just late night entertainment!
My 2nd visit here This time not playing laser tag nor do I have a wrist band which makes this place more 3 stars vs 5 but these are my choices so 5 stars it remains ----- This was my first visit here. I've heard about this place through my children and they thought the laser tag part was excellent and I would agree they have other games which I didn't try (I did a few mini golf things but not enough to give it a review) also should note that this was a work party so I didn't have to pay, I actually have no
This place is old school fun. The mini golf is small but fun. Laser tag is a blast. We drive an hour just to bring the kids here. Usually not super busy either which is great! Workers are nice and helpful. Also, it's cheap! $22 for 3 games of laser tag, mini golf, mini bowling and $5 in tokens!
Had a wonderful time with the whole family tonight! It was a little pricey but we had such a blast and were there 2 1/2 hours. The lazer tag is the best experience of them all!!! I definitely recommend checking this place out. 5 stars with a 5 star price
Attended a pre booked party here and everything was terrible. Severely understaffed, horribly over booked and just plain overcrowded. Far too many parties were shoved into a tiny space. 5 pizzas ordered came out sporadically over the course of 1.5 hours. More than 20 people in our group forced to share a party room that is clearly marked for only 6 people. When the person who booked the party brought concerns to light she was only offered 10 laser tag games as a solution. Overall an entirely terrible experi
Some of the things are a little outdated but tend, and the bathrooms aren't the cleanest but the staff is fantastic. We have been there twice now, and every time they are awesome! They are very accommodating, and wonderful even with our party of a bunch of pre-teen girls running around. Their laser tag is great for the whole family. From young ones up to grandpa and grandma. We will definitely be going back! Thank you for making my daughters birthday party a wonderful experience ??
We had THE BEST time playing laser tag. Our group had a blast playing with a dad and his younger son! I couldn't believe how big the map was. Looking forward to coming back!!!
Went here for my sons birthday. We payed $140 for 6 ultimate packages. We weren't given wristbands for laser tag, nothing for the drinks that come with that package. Find out people are just playing whatever (whether they paid for it or not), wrist bands weren't checked for laser tag so anyone could go. When I complained they said they ?watch? to see how many games are played by people With packages, yet weren't in viewing area half the time. A lot of the games didn't work. They did apologize and gave 8 la
I reserved a 2 hour time slot for my IT department Christmas lunch here and we had an amazing time. The laser tag arena was a good size and had a variety of levels and features. The equipment was top notch and the staff was awesome. We had pizza about 1/2 way through - which tasted great. The next day, all the team could talk about was how sore they were from moving around the arena and how much fun they had.
My husband and I took my 11 year old son and his friend here a couple of weeks ago, and we had the most amazing experience here. The owner was so kind to our boys. When they came out of a laser game their faces were flushed & he gave them bottled water. The employees made sure that they were taken care of and got enough time in the laser game. They let my husband and I play mini golf while we waited, air hockey and some fun arcade games ourselves. (We are very competitive ourselves, so we had a blast compet
I love going to this place. I find it more affordable for me and I like the options. The laser's tag is fun and has different modes you can play as. I am not there to eat food, but their drinks are a bit pricey, but most arcade places' food options are. It has a small town feel and is a fun rainy day activity. I've made some really good memories here.
I visited this location with a large friend group of mine. The laser tag prices are very competitive and the matches themselves last a lot longer than Craig's Cruisers. I will definitely come here again because we had a blast!
Was okay, had to kill some time. Definitely not a Dave and Busters. Played mostly games. They do have laser tag but didn't play. Did play there miniature golf ?? more for the young ones. This area was lit with black lights.
The kids have a lot of fun here. There are lots of games in the arcade they also offer laser tag, mini bowling, and mini golf! All for a decent price with different bundle options. They also have the Oasis Cafe for pizza, drinks and Bosco sticks. Would highly recommend.
I was shocked at how reasonable the prices were at this arcade! It wasn't the biggest arcade I've been to lately but it was very nice and very affordable. The employees were very kind. The only complaint I have is the "mini Bowling" it's pretty beat up and could use some work. Recommend 9/10!
I have been going here for over two years now. My family members and I have ALL purchased memberships by now which are a great way to save yourself some money and track your skill level! The staff has been great for every visit. The young staff is an impressive group, to say the least. They have been very personable and attentive. They all have great attitudes and have really helped to make the experience what it is! Thanks for the great work guys!
Good place to take the kids, and Entertaining for adults. Place is fairly clean, considering kids tend to be messy sometimes. Staff are very patient with the kids, which makes a big difference. Laser tag is well designed and equipment is good. If you are going for laser tag, you should check on Google to see how busy the place is. Busier is BETTER in this case, so there's competition for laser tag.
Absolutely love this place. We take our son here quite a bit, and my wife and I have gone just the two of us also lol. Arcade games are very reasonable, the mini golf is a smaller course, but it is a lot of fun. The laser tag is very reasonably priced and run for 15 minute games, not only 5 minutes like most places. On the weekends for a good cardio work out check out their 3 hour laser tag games.
Use too be a cool place to bring the grand kids spend 25 bucks play games for like a hour, now it's just like bam,20 gets you 6-8 games and 15 min worth the fun. Still ok worth it if you get the package and do the laser game
Honestly, I wish I could rate it lower if I could. One they didn't even give us tickets for any of the games we won, spent over $100 there and didn't leave with anything?why? Because we didn't receive our tickets. Went to ask for help but the workers were all in the back and never came out when I was standing there for a long time, only time she came out was to grab her KFC, and all the workers were very unprofessional and were running in and out of the store. Won't be coming back here.
Truly fun for all ages - grandparents, parents, and kids!
The whole family loves an afternoon at The Lost City they have laser tag, miniature golf and tons of arcade games, even the old school ones. During our last visit our granddaughter experienced a good old fashioned pinball machine and she loved it! If you have children we definitely recommend this place. Enjoy!
Not a friendly staff, very passive aggressive if being ?nice?. They have a very confusing point and token system, and it's quite overpriced. I did not have a good experience ??
Fun games and very friendly staff. We will definitely be back.
Bang for the buck! Being inside didn't let that hinder the fun. Awesome multi-level Lazer tag with multiple different game settings, arcade games for all ages and average priced, small indoor miniature golf to test your pro skills, they've got pizza at a resononable price amongst other things and to put a cherry on top... Staff was friendly and accommodating. Only issue I saw was lack of seating in the event of being busy.
They've updated everything so it looks really good in there. Definitely worth checking out if you haven't been there recently. The kids love the laser tag and it's fun for adults too.
Fun arcade with decent amount of games to play and average prices. Lazer tag is super fun! Only giving it four becasue we did come across a few machines that either stole our tokens or didn't pay out tickets owed
Had an awful time when we drove 2 hours to come enjoy the day. Had a group trying to play during our game and when we talked to a manager to get money back they had an attitude and proceeded to the entire time while they did a refund for the things we didn't do; we decided Craig's cruisers will be a much better experience. Don't waste your time here just go a little ways away and enjoy that instead. I definitely will not be returning here for any reason.
A great way to play for all ages. The staff is helpful and lovely. They even played air hockey with me. The music is upbeat and so is the vibe there. I am 54 years old and I go by myself just to shoot Zombies and blow off steam. Great Place!
Laser tag is great fun for the family. There isn't a viewing window for spectators. Price is reasonable. Arcade is fairly inexpensive compared to others. All in all good times
Loved it! 1st time ever there, went for nieces birthday. So much fun! The staff is super cool, friendly, and helpful. Probably going again next week, lazer tag was a great workout haha.
Showed up just in time to be rushed into the "tornado shelter" because the weather outside was horrendous. Once done with that my group played a ton of fun games and had a great time. The selection of activities is well curated and this is a good place to go to kill time.
It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.
Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.
Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.
Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.
Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.
Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.
Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.
No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
Arcade prize games are a thrilling highlight in 2025! Claw machines, skee-ball, and ticket-redemption games like basketball offer a rush of skill and chance, with rewards like plushies, toys, or electronics up for grabs. Modern machines feature vibrant lights, digital scoreboards, and responsive controls, amplifying the fun. The lively arcade atmosphere, with cheering crowds and buzzing energy, makes every win feel epic.
