Customer Reviews

Stayed at the harbor for my bday weeeknd. And got to explore the area this weekend. This place is great. I'm a big beer fan and am always looking for new breweries. This place did not disappoint at all. The bartenders were very friendly and knowledgeable. We did some sampling and they really do have something for everyone. Had some ciders, meads, and other miscellaneous beers. Each one was great in its own way. If you like sweet stuff, try the Cactus Cooler mead, it's too tasty but it sneaks up on you, lo

Hosted a surprise party for my husband and it was a blast! Huge shout out to RJ for helping arrange the catering for me and going above and beyond to even helping me pick up our cake! The staff was so kind and checked on us constantly! They were so friendly to help accommodate us! This was such a great place to host an event for adults with kids! We all had a wonderful time!!

On a busy afternoon the staff seem in Professional when interacting with customers. There are two lines one at the bar one at the front counter. The heavy set blonde clerk was helping some children with prizes. Meanwhile the line was quite long at the bar cashier. Finally the heavy set blonde person comes over and asks the very last person if they need help. They slide over and order mind you many others are waiting and she was very rude to those waiting ahead of the end of the line. We choose other establi

Overpriced, undercooked, dirty, and unpleasant. I usually don't bother leaving bad reviews, but this place couldn't get anything right. Even the beer was warm and when I asked if I could get the next cold she sarcastically offered me ice. There are too many other places who at least try.

Such a fun little local spot at the harbor. Our kid loves it. We just stop in and play a few games whenever we're around. The staff is super nice as well. Glad to have this spot around.

We were so excited to have a new dining option in Ventura. Food was decent. Not stellar but not bad. However, there are significant issues related to seating, especially for folks who have a disability which overshadowed our visit. Inside seating consists of only high top or picnic style tables, the latter of which have bars at the ends that would prohibit one from rolling up a wheelchair. These bars also make it so one must physically hike their leg up and over the bench as you cannot slide in from the

?Family freindly? might be about two to three decades late. Ventura is becoming a beer haven and this place was teased as a ?beer garden,? but there's no mention of beer on their website. Beer prices were average, but nothing really exciting was on tap. Food was a bit over priced. Was really looking forward to the opening of this establishment and I hope they come around. Good luck.

Quick food service. Fair prices. We got the pepperoni pizza, it was great.

Great spot definitely a must when in the Ventura harbor!

Frequently Asked Questions

What’s it like visiting an arcade today?

It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.

Is it better to go alone or with friends?

Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.

What should I bring to an arcade?

Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.

What’s the best time to visit an arcade?

Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.

Can I meet new people at arcades?

Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.

Are arcades still just for kids?

Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.

Are there events or tournaments I can join?

Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.

What if I’m not great at arcade games?

No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
