Customer Reviews

The waitress that we had was amazing. She was a female did not get her name, but she was super attentive, super respectful and just sweet all the way around! But besides that there is a male bartender also did not get his name, but they need to get trained better on how to be more respectful to the customers, considering we are going there and keeping their business up and running. The guy took my friends change came back with nothing and then got mad when one of our friends had mentioned the change. Then t

19 TVS. 5 golf simulators. 2 pool tables. 4 dart boards. Full bar. Big outdoor patio with plenty of seating. They do corn hole tournaments. Is busy during fall and winter. Pretty dead during summer. Great place for kids and adult parties. They have a basic fried food menu of about 10 items, including cheese curds, gouda mac and cheese bites, wings, fries, mozzarella sticks, southwest egg rolls. They have tap beers, and their tall boys are $5.

Wings are great the rest of the menu is ok. Alcoholic beverages are enjoyed by most people I've talked to. Bartenders are great and personable. Get to know their regulars and remember them when they come back. The atmosphere is great for a night out both indoors and outdoors.

Best bar in town hands down! Great service and great atmosphere!

Went in sat at the bar, one bartender working in the whole place. All five golf simulators busy. Too slow on service and never even offered a menu or a second drink. Paid and left

fun to play indoor golf in winter. staffs are kind and nice. grab a beer and play golf.

My group of friends had a fun night. I personally closed out our tabs and tipped through debit. Next day I noticed my tab jumped by another 15-20 dollars as well as my friend's. If I do return, it will be with cash in hand. That's all I'll say about that.

I was there with a great group of friends for the first time on Sunday and can not wait to go back! Great atmosphere! Great food, very clean and plenty of beverages to choose from. The North Liberty location is perfect. There are plenty of games including the fun indoor golf set up they have and TVs located every where to see from any location. Thank you John and Yvonne O'Neill for your wonderful hospitality!!

This was my third time coming into this bar and I can guarantee I will NOT be back. Brian was the rudest bartender I've ever met. From the second I came into the bar his DISGUSTING attitude and constant stank face made me feel extremely uncomfortable and unwelcome. His drinks tasted god-awful, and if I could give this bar negative reviews, I probably would. I will never step foot into this establishment for as long as they keep hiring bartenders like Brian, he ruined the whole vibe of the establishment with

Friendly bar with 5 golf simulators. Staff is awesome. It's kid friendly. Billiards, darts, and a pinball machine are available. Free bags (Cornhole) when the weather is nice. Worth the visit, especially in winter. It's a big barn of an open space. Update 2 February 2022: it's still a great local sports bar. Update 3 April 2022: lots of leagues for golf and pool, still a great place.

Where do I start?? I was visiting my boyfriend over Thanksgiving break and went there to play cornhole & pool. The minute we got there, the staff was not very friendly. We played pool & had a little trouble w/ all the balls coming out. The bartender came over and gave us a little attitude. We then played virtual golf and they wouldn't show us how to play and were very rude while we were in the bay. We spent a lot of money there and did not appreciate the rudeness. Then, when we left, the bartender followed

Great place to hang out and spend time with friends. The golf simulator is a fun activity. The outdoor seating space is large and comfy for everyone. The drinks are always good and strong and the owners are regularly there to make sure things are running smoothly. All staff is friendly and helpful when deciding which new drink to try. Definitely visit The Leaderboard.

Been to this place twice, first time , a week ago, service was decent golf was fun, second time , not so much!!! Was with a group of 11, the place was average busy for a bar, the guy working behind the bar was TERRIBLE, never left his ?local buddies??. I'd fire him! ?. The waitress was busy but a horrible waitress!!!!! Didn't come to our table but maybe twice in two hours, when it was time to go took at least twenty minutes to get our tabs sorted out. We all drove from Cedar Rapids to golf and watch the haw

Great new bar in North Liberty with golf simulators, pool, and dartboards! A little tricky to get to but worth it when you find your way through the parking lot. Fun open atmosphere that will be great as a hangout spot with friends!

Walked in, saw two different groups arguing and the two bartenders ignoring our drink orders to talk with friends for 5 minutes. I saw two whole drinks served that whole time.

Met some friends at the leaderboard had a great time watching live golfing action on the simulators. I'll bring my clubs next time, looks like great fun and costs less than real golf courses! Great service!

Frequently Asked Questions

What’s it like visiting an arcade today?

It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.

Is it better to go alone or with friends?

Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.

What should I bring to an arcade?

Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.

What’s the best time to visit an arcade?

Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.

Can I meet new people at arcades?

Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.

Are arcades still just for kids?

Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.

Are there events or tournaments I can join?

Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.

What if I’m not great at arcade games?

No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
