I bowl with my uncle! Very nice bowling alley! Not busy at all and the staff was friendly! If you need socks they are $5, personally I don't think they were worth that but I needed them so it's wtv. The prices aren't terrible and we both had a lot of fun!
Went here tonight with my son for the first time in 2 years. The remodel is WONDERFUL! The pizza and cheese bread is amazing and worth every penny! Games and shoe rental are very well priced. This sparked us wanting to come back very very soon! The man at the front desk (didn't catch his name) was the absolute sweetest! <3 Thanks for a great night!
Went to watch a show. Not crowded and no one helped us at table. WWE had to go get drinks. Girls behind bar were drunk and we waited a lot. Then they were fighting. Very inappropriate. Not a place I will come back too. Oh and they didn't want to make us in pay. So you are losing money too. And bartenders drunk and out dancing and not taking care of customers.
Bowling alley is in good shape! Nice lanes, clean area. We ordered food too. The wings were super amazing! Pretzel bites and cheese curds were standard. Pizza and burgers looked good we didn't order but saw lots going out. Staff was fantastic!
Tried to eat, wasn't acknowledged at all by any staff we waited by the door for 5 minutes, sat for 10 minutes because we didn't see a "please wait until seated" sign, still no acknowledgement. Very sad I wanted to try their Mac n cheese bites.
Love This Place!!.. Great for families, couples, teams, single practice, etc.. Great Food & Drinks, Great price.. Personable, Owned by Veterans.. Our Family Loves coming here Every Year for the New Year's Eve Bash!!??
They don't have the pictures properly aligned with the lane. I did all of this
It's a great place. I enjoyed bowling a whole lot and then the arcade after that.
Place was run down, smells like mold. Don't use the restrooms...they are scary
Great place great atmosphere good food good beer great band that night I was there
Great way to have a family's day out. Me,my husband , my two kids and my niece went there for open bowling. The music was great! I love how you can set up bumpers for one person. We had fun! The staff was really nice! Everything was clean.
The staff is extremely friendly and helpful and the atmosphere is so fun for all ages!! Had such an amazing time and will DEFINITELY go again
I've been going to the arcade for years, but last time I went, one of the workers was rude to me, demanding to know if I would play any other games. This was while I was in the middle of a pinball game, and I did not appreciate that rudeness or interruption. I get that he was gearing up to close, but that rudeness was unnecessary. I'm going to see who I need to talk to.
Fun game room and even more fun bowling!!! Grab the family and go!!! Super affordable as well!!!
My fiance and I went cosmic bowling on Saturday night and had a lot of fun and really affordable, ended up paying 16$ each for unlimited bowling after 8pm, if your looking for family fun and a good atmosphere I'd recommend.
Good place, supporting a good cause
Fantastic highly recommend to anyone with kids.
Very nice place, will definitely be back! Staff was excellent and super friendly. Had so much fun I didn't even take pictures...
Awesome the only place I know that you have to put shoes in hallway
The Landin Zone is awesome!! Thank you veterans for making this possible!
Great past time in gaylord. Was clean and fun. Love the small arcade they have there
We went there as a girls night out (6 women) and it was a tad busy. The manager approached us and said there were no lanes open. She directed us to the bar area, and told us she would reserve a lane and let us know when it was available. (Satisfied with that service) However, after an hour and 15 minutes with zero updates, (our food was served and we were done with drinks.) We decided to check in ourselves and the man running the alley lanes said the lane been open for us for about an hour. An entire hour w
We love taking our family here for blacklight bowling. They have pizza and fries ( and beer !) The only thing missing is burgers and coneys! Never a bad time!
Always been a staple in Gaylord in my opinion, the remodeling work isn't slowing down business none either but should be very nice when it's all done. So gather the kids, the wife or husband, Grandma, Grandpa, aunts, uncle's, and nieces and nephews and go bowling!
Fantastic and very friendly place to bowl! They went above and beyond for our group of people. Thank you to all who worked on May 5th!
Most staff was extremely rude. They had several customers at a time going behind the bar and into the kitchen, and this happened several time. There were children aged approximately 7 and under running through the bar area after 11:30 pm. I would think the bar area should at least be closed off to children, NOT accompanied by an adult, after a certain time.
Hours posted open until 11 but shut down early on a Saturday night? I guess if you like losing money be my guest. ??????? Poor customer service from the guy at the front desk too, didn't feel welcome at all.
Great Respectful Employees. They take care of all of the rental equipment beautifully. Maybe some new shoe rentals would be nice due to age on the shoes. Other than that, great lanes, great everything. Definitely recommend going and checking out.
People who aren't bowling also have to remove shoes to enter the building. If that's the case then they should provide something to slip over your feet. How am I supposed to use the restroom? I'm definitely not walking in there in just my socks.
I was going up north for the weekend, and I found this place. It was very nice and cozy, a great place to hang out with family for a hour or two. The lanes were well-kept and the staff were very friendly. The food was good, and they also had a decently sized arcade as well. To make it even better, the prices were very reasonable.
I went in with my family for glow bowling to celebrate my birthday. Was told it would be an hour or so and they put us in the list. We were fine with that, we played in the arcade for a while and then went to the bar. My daughter ran a tab for us and gave the bartender her debit card. We sat there and played euchre. The gentleman came in the bar from the bowling alley and asked if we were waiting for a lane. We said that we were. He said that we were a ways down the list but would check to see if e
Horrible customer service! Scheduled a birthday party weeks in advance, reserve lanes with cake and pizza just to called a couple hours before the party to be told that we no longer have our reservation because of a competition that they have going on and there won't be a lanes available, and to be told that my 11-year-old and all of his friends can hang out in the BAR or arcade area until a lane POSSIBLY opens meaning they don't even know if one will open. Women on the phone was no help and very rude. Do
Realy clean & quite nice people Lived around the area for years never new it was there Me & my fiance went there had a great time Good food & cheape prices
Great food, friendly staff, and all to help a great cause. Keep up the great work.
Went on a Friday afternoon. It seems like there was on guy doing all the things. He got us set up with a lane, worked the bar, and cooked the food. He did a great job and we had a lot of fun.
By far the best bowling alley I've ever been too! The staff are so friendly and fun! It's all non profit and proceeds go to veterans! Some very friendly guys! This will be our new go to bowling alley. Such a great time for the whole family. Thank you so much guys??
Games a bit pricey in game room but bowling is nice.
Lane was constantly breaking, the ladies at the bar seemed annoyed by me being there just to refill my pitcher of pop ($6.69 by the way), and $53 dollars for 2 games for 4 people? Complete rip off. And you don't pay beforehand, you pay after. They know what they're doing with that. The arcade was okay and possibly the only redeeming thing about the place, if you could find a game that didn't break. Never stepping foot in there again and telling people I know not to go.
The staff takes care of you here. If..and I mean if, there are lane issues...they are running to fix them. The food is very, very good for a quick bar type meal. For a great night out with family or friends I would suggest the Gaylord Bowling Center.
Had a great time with family and cheap prices
Our grandchildren liked leaving bowling to go to the game room before leaving. Place was clean, but bathroom needs work. The guy that serviced us could of smiled a little more too. Nice time.
This is my go place for mom and me date night with my son. We love to go bowling, playing the arcade, get our prizes, and get some pizza and fries for dinner. Always a fun time. The staff is great and its always clean and well maintained.
The lane messed up a little and had to be reset. My husband said the men's bathroom was terribly dirty (womens was fine). The customer service was terrible - a young guy working, wasn't friendly at all.
Good family fun, with a bar if your family is that bad. Still running some older equipment, and the times I've been it's been a little short staffed for the amount of people there. But the staff tried with a smile and we all had a good time
Had a great time. Friendly staff. Great food, although I was a little bummed that they no longer had pizza. The smoked meats and cheeses that they have now were amazing! ?? ?? ??
I was not impressed with the young man working the counter. We had some professional bowlers. It was a nice time but one person bowled their first ball and when she went to bowl her second the lane reset itself and the man wouldn't fix it so she could bowl her second frame. Then there was a pin that got knocked out of the gate and he would not fix that. Then one of our players asked if he could put the Michigan State basketball game on the tv and he said I don't know. Very poor customer service.
Scheduled a Birthday party for my 4 year old, they had nothing done or ready. They had an obvious miss communication between staff, management and kitchen. They ran to Walmart for the included balloons, cupcakes and threw together a table over an hour after we had been there. They did try to make up for it but, it still was a disaster. Not only the issues with the party but, a bunch of intoxicated bowlers made for a very dissatisfied experience. We encountered an extremely rude employee on top of all the o
If I lived closer I'd go every day. Bowling is so much better since they made all non smoking.
This place is pretty nice! Great to have a fun night when I come up to visit family in Gaylord. They have decent prices and the bowling is fun. The alley is also pretty clean. I'm confused why it doesn't have more people bowling there.
Pizza was great...but....burgers were freezer burnt frozen patties. The fries were old and cold....even though there was only us and maybe 8 other people there for lunch.....why would you not cook to order?????? The only ball I could find with wholes big enough for my fingers was a 14 lbs ball which iI could bearly lift....and the lanes were super slippery......I fell twice.
Great atmosphere Great staff expensive drinks.
Kids had a blast bumper bowling! Staff was friendly and location was clean. A fun few hours!
I'm an older woman and I'm trying to get people my age to get out and enjoy what is available. From Grayling, we decided to try out "Gaylord Bowling"The woman working there was SOOO RUDE TO US, we couldn't figure out how to get the bumpers to work. We asked her to help us. "Her words" NO you can do it yourselves. JUST ARROW DOWN!!! And walked away.. They won't be back!!!
Never a bad experience here! There is new ownership so not everything is perfect, YET! They are working very hard and as fast as they can to make this place in tip top shape!
That staff was not friendly. Oof.
Visited for the live music. Comfort, a little out dated. No refills on sidt drinks.
Wow I saw, Brad corpus there playing music, was impressed thought he was still in nashville
Old school place. Nothing is up to date and very pricy for what you get. I would suggest bringing your own ball if you want anything that fits or is consistent. I would guess the balls are at least 20 years old. Not a good place for younger kids.
Not much of a bowler, but the pizza at Gaylord Bowling Center is amazing. They have a fun friendly staff!
Amazing place. Super friendly and helpful staff!! Definitely check this place out if your in the mood to bowl.
The game itself was great, and the bowling was fun. No complaints there. The bathrooms though need some updating. The mens room doesn't have a toilet seat.
I absolutely love to bowl ?????? though I'm not very good at it ??????.... Thank goodness for those who bowl with me.... I definitely give them something to laugh about ????????
They are always trying to update stuff, and the owners are veterans and do a lot of things for other veterans as well as their local community. ????
Everyone working here is always very nice, the lanes are in great shape, and the kids always have fun.
Great center, things moved quickly and smoothly for high school regional tournament. Very pleased with the entire experience.
We took our niece and nephew here and people are getting upset about them getting excited about getting pins knocked down recommend not coming here people treat you horribly
Best bowling alley I've been in a while and great service! Happy to say we'll be coming back for a family bowl night tradition.
My husband and I were very impressed with the quality of the lanes. Our kid loved the arcade too!
Extremely friendly people i live the bowling alley i have alot of memories there' i highly recommend it for the whole family
Great place to chill out and go have a throws and some food. Good place for teens in the summer time too
Had a great time. Took some first time bowlers! Friendly environment!
The Circus was great! Thank you Gaylord Bowling Center for hosting this event. We really enjoyed it!
Much better care and upkeep by whoever manages these lanes now. Considering league bowling there again. Good job staff.
Veteran owners, veteran ran local vet's get the proceeds. Perfect reason to support ! Lots of fun!
Very fun and good rates.
Best place In gaylord to have fun. So much to do and they even have live music, arcade, and bar.we go atleast weekly.
Great place, & very great staff...we were up from Jackson visiting
I haven't actually bowled here. This the location shared by my VFW Post 1518 that I attend every third Thursday of every month. The rating is because the Gaylord Bowling Center allows the VFW to hold our meetings there.
We always try and bring the kids at least once a month sometimes more if we can. This bowling ally is Veteran owned come out and support it
Lots of fun, staff was incredibly friendly, gave very helpful tips.
It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.
Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.
Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.
Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.
Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.
Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.
Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.
No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
Arcade prize games are a thrilling highlight in 2025! Claw machines, skee-ball, and ticket-redemption games like basketball offer a rush of skill and chance, with rewards like plushies, toys, or electronics up for grabs. Modern machines feature vibrant lights, digital scoreboards, and responsive controls, amplifying the fun. The lively arcade atmosphere, with cheering crowds and buzzing energy, makes every win feel epic.
