We had an absolute blast! My husband and I decided to check it out for date night, and it did not disappoint. The atmosphere was fun, the staff were super friendly, and it was a fun time. Highly recommend it for date nights, group outings, or just something different to do around town! We can't wait to go back with a group of people!
You'd think - ?give dunk people an axe and see what happens!? But, it's so much fun and harder than you'd think. Love this place. Great for calm, darts, low key game nerds like myself! Great fun, and never chaotic. Pizzas are great too!
FANTASTIC addition to the downtown area! We hosted a team celebration with catering and the staff was beyond accommodating to our large group, made pointed efforts to ensure we felt safe and equipped to best enjoy the lanes, and were actively involved in our experience. The dartsee lanes are a must visit and provide such a unique and interactive experience. The space is clean, modern, thoughtfully design, and FUN! We will be back and plan to host future group events here.
We always have a great time at the Iron House in Hibbing! It's a fantastic spot for families, with great food, drinks, and entertainment. The atmosphere is always welcoming, and there's something for everyone to enjoy. Highly recommend!
This is far above and beyond what I initially thought of an "Axe" throwing business. They have electronic projection axe throwing games, I'm talking about full on axe throwing at wood boards but use a projector that allows you to play a variety of styled games like whack-a-mole, tic-tac-toe, carnival style games and many more including regular bullseye axe throwing. They have electronic dart boards that use the same projection style that allows you to play a variety of games not just regular dart games. Wan
The ax throwing and dart boards are customizable and a hoot. We also found the trained staff helpful , friendly and fun. They have a great selection of board games offered, and the infinity game tables have a never ending variety of choices found on apps, and are great for two to four players. Iron House has a large selection of drink options with a food menu with something for all. It has a nice family atmosphere . A definite ?will go again?
Always having a good time at Iron House. Different things going on throughout the week like trivia and live music. I love having a place to go for a drink that has a hang out feel vs. a corner bar feel. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful when it comes to explaining how to use infinity game tables, how to properly throw an axe and the directions to their card and board games. Stellar addition to the locally owned businesses in town.
Have been there a few times now and they always had more to offer every time I've gone. Many axe and dart throwing games to choose from, trivia and axe throwing league nights, competitive card games, free board games to choose from. Playing on the infinity tables to classic board games with twists was a fun experience as well. Good job Iron House.!
The staff is amazing. We walked in the door and were met with great hospitality. What could have take a considerable amount of time to get set up didn't take long at all due to the great staff helping in every step. What a fun place to spend time!!!
Love the atmosphere and had a great time! Wonderful selections of boardgames to play as well. Will definitely be coming back!
The Iron House is a great, new addition to our community! There is a wide variety of activities for both adults and kids (even my little ones!). Some activities are organized (like trivia), and others you can make reservations for or just walk in. There's a huge variety of drink options, and now food is available. The Iron House is our go-to spot!!
Something fun and new in Hibbing! The owner was very friendly and all the staff there were willing to help teach us how to safely throw the axes. Lots of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverage choices! Can't wait to try the new food options too.
What an amazing place. Blending axe ?? throwing, and darts in whole new way. Highly recommend for a night out.
I am currently an employee here, and I absolutely love this place! For the 1st time in a long while, Hibbing actually has an activities venue that can be totally free. Also, if you have younger kids, there is plenty of activities for them, so the parents can have their own fun, while they are here.
Great place to enjoy a night out in Hibbing. Enjoyed darts and axe throwing. Also, tons of drink options for gluten free!
Great atmosphere, really friendly staff. I attended the beginner DnD class and it was led very well and was a blast to play.
The Iron House was super fun! The interior is beautiful. The ax throwing and darts experience was super high tech and unique. You can go 100 times and do something different each time!
Absolutely fantastic!!! Fun games with amazing tech! Next level employees!!!
We chose the Iron House for our annual Milestone Anniversary activity for 2024. Rena and the team were a lot of fun and worked to make sure our event was a success! We have received a lot of feedback on how much our employees enjoyed the event. We chose to use the catering offered from Sunrise Deli and that was a hit as well! We are grateful to have this addition to our community and hope to have many more events here.
Fun entertainment on the Iron Range. Great beverage selection. Staff is awesome. There was a very tall handsome gentleman working when we were there that was swinging a big axe!
Great place to grab a beer and play some games! Interactive Axe throwing that is super cool and you have to try out the Dartsie boards! Brandon and his team did a heck of a job on this place!! Go check it out!
The Iron House is super fun and has a great staff!! Brent and Aaron are amazing!
I've gone twice and it is epic. Everyone is very friendly and there are games available for ALL ages. I highly recommend going if you haven't yet ??
Really great place for the whole family. We had a great time out with the whole work crew. Lots of fun, check it out!
Lots of options for activities! Friendly, helpful staff too
Such a fun date night!!! The interactive games are so much fun!! Can't wait to see what they add next.

It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.
Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.
Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.
Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.
Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.
Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.
Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.
No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
