The GRID | VR Arcade

The Grid had got to be on the top of the list for things to do in Oceanside. Our while family played here earlier in the week on our vacation and we couldn't wait to return... we even skipped the beach so our boys could go back! As far as being a VR Arcade this place is phenomenal! Between the realistic games and black light atmosphere we had a blast! Our boys are 6, 9, and 11 and they could not get enough! The experience is amazing. The virtual reality painting makes you feel like you can paint in the 3rd dimension. You are able to draw the shapes in front of you, then paint behind the original drawing and follow with the paint in front of the original drawing. Birthday treat for my son who turned 30. Group of 12 people. Age range was 10 to 67. And we ALL had a blast! The owner did a great job watching to make sure the equipment was working properly during each game. And he stepped in to change up the settings adding to the variety and challenge. We had my son?s 10th birthday and it exceeded expectations. Pan was a gracious and organized host, he even let us try out the equipment prior to booking the party. We did the laser tag which had multiple levels and the game naturally switches out the kids so everyone got a turn and there was never an awkward time that you had to tell the kids their turn was over. Super fun and a surprisingly good workout! We did the laser tag game for a 30th bday party. We had 10 adults in our party, 3 players went at a time, 4-minute rounds. Pan (owner) was super friendly!

My office staff went here for our regular company outing. We had an absolute blast! It was very interactive and enjoyable for our whole team. The Grid staff was very helpful and took their time to give us directions and explain exactly how to play. We will definitely go back again!

This place is awesome ! It's the newest most high tech form of VR with a duck and cover, laser tag concept, HyperTag. I recommend this to anyone who's a gamer or a first timer for this awesome experience. It feels like a workout sometimes. I'm definitely coming back. I hope they build one of these place near my hometown in Orlando, FL.

My brother and I stumbled upon The Grid one day while walking through Artist Alley and wow what an experience! I loved the virtual reality, it's so amazing! No matter what you tell yourself your mind sees the cliffs are really there! We had a great time playing hyper tag and I can't wait to go back!

This is the only review you need to read. I have been gaming a very long time and nothing quite matches this experience. It is a fabulous team building forum. Customer service I received and the knowledge they had was superb. Not only was it great game play, it was also a wonderful physical workout. I was was actually scared at some points in the game. Highly recommended.

What an awesome experience! Came as part of my 30th Birthday celebration and had such a great time! Hypertag was very intuitive. My wife who is not a gamer at all got the hang of it and loved it. It's my new favorite form of gaming! The grid offers the mental challenge of VR gaming with the physical challenge of a team sport. My entire family (ages 9-38) loved it and can't wait to return! It's an experience you won't forget.

As soon as I put on the glasses I felt like I was in the movie "Ready Player One". This game is the foundation for the reality that we wish we could be in, but you won't know until you put on the headset. I mean holy Buckaroo Banzai this game is intense. First person shooter and one of a kind.

Just got to try this place for the first time. It's a blast! It went above and beyond my expectations for a VR experience and I can't wait to go back with my husband and our friends.

I did the art VR for my birthday and people, the future is here! I have never looked at art from such an interesting angle!! The world seemed endless and it was surprisingly easy to use! The staff was friendly too!
