One of my favorite spots in Pensacola. Kid friendly early on and turns into a more bustling bar with live music and frequent events. Definitely worth checking out if you love classic video games and good times.

So much fun! Bartender was so nice and the place is kept super clean too! Tons of games!

This place is so much fun! My boyfriend and I come pretty often for a beer and some great games. We love the pinball machines and the classic arcade feel of all of it. The staff is so kind as well. B is especially awesome! She made us feel welcomed and even gave some great beer suggestions. Highly recommend this place.

We love a good arcade, and this was a great arcade for the whole family. There was a little bit of everything from the old school arcade games to the traditional games like pool, air hockey, and skee ball. There was a great selection of pinball games to choose from. It was a great place to unwind in a laid back atmosphere with some good drinks. Thanks B for some great drink recommendations.

This is my new go-to for hangouts with my friends! For an hour of fun on ladies night I only spent $10 for 2 people! The bartender was very friendly and gave me a cup to hold all of my tokens.

Unique establishment that doesn't look like much on the outside but is worth a stop. They do not have liquor but a wine based liquor alternative that I found to be pretty good in mixed drinks. They have a decent selection of games including pinball, retro games like Digdug, and things like air hockey. Most games are ?50-?75 to play. Definitely a worthwhile stop on a date night!

The Grid is a real 80s Arcade experience. They have a lot of great games that cost mainly 25c for one play session, some other games cost 50c and $1 but overall it's a fun cheap experience. They accept card and Apple Pay for their token machine and you get a discount for using cash. I highly recommend giving this place a try, it's also family friendly from all day on Sunday and Tuesday-Saturday from open-9pm. For adult they offer beer and then they have soda and chips for kids. The owner is a really coo

Bartender forgot to bartend kind of. I went there last Friday with my girlfriend. While we were there it was karaoke night. And whoever was bartending seemed to be more concerned with lip singing and dancing instead of bartending. There was about a 10 minute period where she was talking to friends and just kind of dancing and doing zero bartending. It was just.... odd. Other wise I like the place.

a very very fun great enjoyable nice arcade bar, better than most i would say. i've been to many. no gimmicks here. good drinks and not overpriced. fun tokens. machines working well. karaoke on friday night seem like a big hit. the owner was very friendly and kind and helpful to a traveler. a little cold inside but i like it that way. house of the dead 2 very fun. tournament machines. the bloody mary was very good.

Very nice place. Did not know it even existed. Will be going back. Had a lot of fun. Bathrooms, bar, drinks for the kids. Lots of fun. Serve some nacho. Lol thought I hit the 5 star. Sorry for not looking up to see I missed the 5th star.

Lots of good old school games to play. I really enjoyed the pinball machines they have. Tons of drink options. You can get tokens with Apple Pay which is really cool and convenient (or a debt card for those of you who still do things the old school way.) Also I got a score of 290 in ski ball, so that's the bar to beat! Go there and support this awesome local business, you won't regret it.. ALSO - there is no cover charge to get in (unless maybe when a band is playing.)

Cool environment, pinball machines are well kept and pricing is fair. Old machines are cheaper. 25 cents for Highspeed is a steal.

This place is a whole vibe! We love it here. The owner and bartenders (B & Richard) are the best and friendliest! Lots of brews to choose from and plenty of old school cabinet games. Come get your dose of nostalgia!

Went in at open 4 on Saturday. Great arcade atmosphere. Employee was upbeat and fun. Took a teenager and twin 9 year olds. Great retro music and games aimed to please. If there was an issue with any game or tokens, he was happy to help or switch out. We can't wait to go back without kids for a retro arcade game date! You will have a great time here

A Nostalgic Night Out at The Grid Arcade Bar The Grid Arcade Bar is a fantastic spot for a fun and nostalgic experience! The collection of old-school pinball machines is a highlight, bringing back all the retro vibes. It's refreshing that there's no ticket system with prizes?just pure arcade gaming for the love of it. The atmosphere felt more geared toward adults, but it's still a place where kids can have a great time too. The drink selection was top-notch, with a variety of options to suit everyone?s ta

This place is perfect for Pensacola. I took my kids today to check it out. It definitely brought back some nostalgia. Definitely will be back to enjoy the adult side of it. Thank you for making son?s birthday really good today. Something simple and easy this close to Christmas is always a must.

This place is awesome, the Bartender "B" was amazing and recommended an equally amazing beer and getting to play Galaga, Ms Pacman and Flash Gordon Pinball all in one night was just a perfect way to wind down after a shitty day of work. Definitely coming back.

FANTASTIC! I wish we'd come sooner! Great selection of very well-maintained arcade cabinets and pinball machines. Tons to be excited about: unique cocktail menu, game consoles you can play on for an hourly rate, and more. I cannot overstate how excited I am to find a place for a fun and affordable date. My husband and I spent EIGHT DOLLARS and had a blast for 2 hours! We will definitely be regulars and plan to come back for bingo and other events! **Edited February 2025: Still 5 stars! Arguably even better

I absolutely love this place! B and Richard are the coolest sweetest bartenders ever! The beer prices and selection are great and most of the classic arcade games only cost a quarter! Live music and karaoke. Highly recommended to anyone just looking for a chill place to have a few drinks and have a good time!

My boyfriend and I have been here a handful of times and this was our first time back since the renovations! It's so spacious and so much fun! We brought my boyfriend?s teenage cousin with us and she seemed to have a lot of fun! We did accidentally glitch out the dart game but we had a good time nonetheless! B was an absolutely amazing bartender! She was so helpful suggesting ciders and offered to fix the dart machine when we payed out. Will definitely be back soon.

Very retro! Super cool place. I've been waiting for something like this! Went for a date night had a drink and played some uno, pin ball, skee ball, mortal kombat, and street fighter??Plan on coming back with my kids. I know they will enjoy it as well!

This is the best arcade / bar. The bartender is the best and the staff is always willing to fix or replace any lost tokens. MUST VISIT LOCATION

This place is my cheers. Love it!! Weekly Trivia on Thursdays is a must attend. Retro arcades and the best pinball collection in Pensacola

I beat my husband at Mortal Kombat. It's because B was the best bartender ever and made sure we had agreat time.

An incredibly inviting and accepting place! Tons of games to play, nightly events such as trivia and bingo, and clean bathrooms! B gave great drink suggestions and was really pleasant to talk to!

Went there last night for the first time. A really fun place to hang out. Great games, super nice crowd, and an awesome bartender. We'll definitely be back. Thanks!!!!!

My first time at The Grid. Had an awesome experience. Great beer selection and B was very helpful and excellent customer service.

What a cool spot!! B was amazing and made us feel so welcomed and told us how everything worked, had a blast- can't wait to come back!!! So many things to do

I love this place and had never heard of it until this year! I'm so glad someone suggested it to me because the games are awesome and so are the employees. They have live music, bingo, open mic nights and much more. Daniel, the owner constantly takes care of the venue and "B" and "Richard who work the bar area are very friendly and knowledgeable of the games. Be sure to come check it out.

awesome place. highly recommend. wide array of arcade machines, game tables, and even consoles for rent. dunno how the drinks are but they seemed to have a pretty good selection. super chill vibe

Took the family to The grid arcade and had a blast. Great games! Cold beer and a great time! Also didn't cost an arm and a leg for a family of 5! Great place, I highly suggest checking them out!

The grid is a legitimate arcade. It's cheap, the games are all good. The staff is always super friendly and helpful. The bartender Jason is always down to help narrow down the best beers (they have a ton) and is quick to help fix any game issues. We spent $5 and got enough tokens to play enough games to last us 30 min. They have a huge collection of craft beers. They plan on expanding soon too! So thankful for this place in west pensacola/warrington area where we have an entertainment desert. ??

This place was great! Went for my birthday and the bartender, B, was so nice! They helped me pick out a drink that fit my tastes and even gave me a few coins when I told them it was my birthday! Overall great experience and I will be going back. 10/10 :)

When I walked in the door of this place, it was like stepping back in time to childhood. Lots of retro games like Qbert, Mrs Pac-Man, Frogger, Pong. They even have 2 old tv's with classic NES set up to play.

I had a blast the skeeball and pinball machines reminded me of my showbiz and childhood

KEEP PLACES LIKE THIS IN BUSINESS! By far my experience at The Grid was more enjoyable any modern arcade in Pensacola. Bartender B was absolutely awesome and sampled me one of my new favorite draft ciders. Very kind bar service and selection of drinks. Such a nostalgic atmosphere with a nice selection of different vintage games. And you cant beat 25? for most games! No need for quarters with their convenient token machine, takes credit. And even when a token gets stuck, the staff is super friendly. These mo

This place is killer! Love it! Love the game selection here. Been practicing my mortal kombat skills on a regular. Staff is great too. B is such a great bartender, always remembers what I drink. Cant get enough of this place. Definitely recommend!

Meh.... I expected $20 in tokens to get me and my brother a lot more time there.... I would've been back by now if they cut the token cost down by 50% on most games.... also, staff was kinda dismissive... Dude there seemed more irritated with us being new patrons because he was more interested in his cute coworker (just sayin)

They have some super sick pinball machines. Cool bartenders too. Really enjoyed it.

They have a decent selection of pinball machines but it seemed like they all were leaning to the left forcing the balls to drain on the left which was annoying.

Great beer selection the Bartender is quick with a joke and will light up your smoke of course the games

Coolest place in town if u miss the old arcade games here u go

On vacation with my family and decided to try this place on a whim. I love arcade/bar combos but most are too expensive or things get too rowdy. This place had all the good vibes! B the bartender was very attentive and friendly. I love when a bartender has a great personality, it just makes the overall experience that much better. B convinced us to join the air hockey tournament just for fun and we had the best time. Love the old school jukebox (don't know what it's called haha) we enjoyed choosing a few s

Nice spot to chill. Have a beer and play some games. You can even bring the kids before 9pm after 9 it's adult time.

The location is sketchy and easy to miss. The parking is a slim, tiny parking lot and difficult to maneuver in and out of. The arcade is a good concept, but it would be better if it relocated. The are arcade games like Pong, Frogger, Galaga, Qbert and air hockey. You have to pay for tokens out of a token machine that takes cards or cash. Several of the games take 3 to 4 tokens, so you may need to spend 20 to 30 dollars if you have a family of three. The one worker in the establishment didn't acknowledge any

Been here once before. It's bigger now and a great place to hang out.

Came for Halloween night. What a blast. DJ and drinks were ?? on point.

The outside is very unassuming. Inside the games are retro, fun, and authentic. The bar is well stocked with beer, wine, and wine cocktails. Staff is super friendly, especially B. Highly recommend.

Pretty fun place to come hang out with an affordable price tag; great drink selection as well; B was extremely helpful and accommodating as well and they made the experience 100% more enjoyable

Cool place and a walk down memory lane. Me and the fam visited here tonight while vacationing in Perdido Key. I was pleasantly surprised with what was offered. The Grid boast a nice selection of pinball machines and many arcade classics. There's also a pool table, skeeball, and an air hockey table. I can't comment on the drink selection as I don't drink myself and didn't partake. If you're looking for some fun off the beaten path this is a good choice. Highly recommended!

My daughter and I love coming here. She's amazing at pinball (constantly gets pops) and we love to play air hockey. We also had a blast when we went to trivia night.

Visiting from out of state and this is hands down our favorite thing we did to beat the heat! We just so happened to be there on Bingo night (my fav!). We had a BLAST!! The staff are incredibly friendly! The selection of games were great and threw me right back into my childhood. Dig Dug, Skeeball, Pong, Donkey Kong?. So many to choose from. My kiddos range from 12 to 22 years old and they're already asking to go back!

Place is just great. Cheap drinks and great old games.

Pretty fun place. They do not have a liquor license so don't expect classic cocktails. It's pay per game and not an entry fee. Had a good bit of fun with the games!

Absolutely amazing for adults AND kids, but at different times. Kids up until 9pm is perfect, and then we appreciate the more grown up/no kiddos atmosphere after 9pm. Keep doing what you're doing because we love The Grid!

Really cool place to spend some time with friends and family. Nice cozy atmosphere, good selection of retro arcade games and pinball games. Hope they add more retro games in the future! Definitely will be back.

Love the pinball and the, relatively, new hours on the weekend. Great place to drop by after work for an hour and light up by brain waves with dazzling pinball magic. And I dont even drink booze, but it looks like they've got a freat selection of that too.

B was ABSOLUTELY amazing!!!! Wonderful place and I will be back! Very welcome environment, BEST BAR IN PENSACOLA

amazing place, old school games, awesome tolkens , and B by far the BEST. bartender i?ve ever had in my life!!! BEST BAR EVER , LOVE THIS PLACE, 10/10 recommend!

We love The Grid Arcade! They always have a great selection of true vintage arcade games, pinball, and air hockey available to play! They carry a premiere selection of beers as well as some non-alcoholic options. The staff is always upbeat and friendly. If you are looking for a low-key evening of something to do, this is a great spot for it.

Had a couple brewskis with my old best friend since teenagers Josh Tyrone here. I believe he host open mic there, as well. Pretty cozzy cool chill spot from what I got out of it. Very friendly environment and atmosphere seemed safe of any negative occurrences. Nice spot!

This place is a blast, and a great way to spend an evening! They have a decent selection of beer, a ton of nostalgic games, and a handful of great pinball machines. There's different events most nights, and rotating food trucks some nights, too. Just one visit and I want to drag all my friends there for fun times!

Exactly what I was hoping for. A little slice of 1984. Had such a blast.

Richard is and will be an amazing host and bartender. This place is awesome and I appreciate the owner putting in the effort to make a unique bar. Love it!!!

Great prices, classic games from yesteryear, just an all around great experience. I love this place and I can't wait to go back. My sons, 6 and 14, love it. $10 goes a very long way at this arcade. It's not a rat and kids casino like most new arcades. No tickets, no worthless prizes, just old school arcade fun.

I suck at pinball. It was a great time!

B was a great bartender wonderful place reto games to the pool tables if you have not been you definitely need to try this place out .

Fantastic merger of modern and retro. Great beer selection and the only arcade in the area where five bucks can last a long time thanks to the prices. Also the guy bartender has a beautiful beard.

Absolutely amazing experience the bartender Jacky was friendly and very informative/professional. Perfect place to have fun and play arcade games. This is definitely the coolest place in town to have a great time no matter your age you will have a great time!!!

This place is So cool!???? I'm an 80?s baby that grew up on ShowBiz and pinball ?? This place is like if Showbiz had good food and drinks lol and atmosphere?? Staff is always great and love that I can play pinball like the good ol? days. Thanks guys for helping us show our kids how good we had it!

Had an amazing time. Most games are a quarter each. Only the newest pinball machines are a lil more but still definitely worth it! Also amazing atmosphere!

My husband and I came here to play some games and have a few drinks. B was incredibly helpful and friendly. Good staff and good games!!

Wow awesome arcade. More of a retro vibe but the pinball machines are excellent and in my opinion the highlight of this awesome arcade bar. Highly recommend it to any pinball heads or fans of classic arcade action .Plenty of choices . They allow underage up until 8pm so it's l great for the whole family and more of adult atmosphere after 8

Great barcade, most cabinets 50? per play

Love this spot! Affordable games and a cool layout. Shout out to the bartender B for being awesome!

The grid is such a vibe! :) B the bartender lol I was attentive and great. Definitely will be coming back!

This is a review of their arcade repair. A few weeks back I brought them my childhood standup arcade game from 1981 that hadn't worked in ~8 years. Daniel quickly discovered the many problems, ordered the correct parts, and got it working in a few weeks. He kept me in the loop and got it back to perfect working condition for a VERY reasonable price. I could not be happier with the result. Thank you!

Saw the article about the grid fighting to get a liquor license or something like that so I decided is check it out....as a gamer I absolutely love the retro environment. Had some games that I had completely forgotten about from when I was a kid. Ten dollars was enough for me and 2 of my buddies to play for 45 mins before we gad to leave and I still have a ton left! Also got to meet the owner and chat with him for a few...he and all the staff is absolutely amazing I will definitely be visiting on the regula

Great selection of vintage games! Cute bar in downtown Pensacola.

Jason and Daniel are the highlight of the show! This place is a hidden gem. I have a 9 & 6 year old and they absolutely love it and we love it just as much. Highly recommend!!! We will be regulars. :)

Had a good time for ten bucks. Generous prices on the games. Had a few eat a couple tokens but it's no big deal considering theyre all 25? a play. Hopefully they fix their Galaga machine! Edit to reply to owner: When I came in the Galaga screen was really blurry to the point it was unusable. Not sure if it's just an intermittent issue or what.

Great place. Girlfriend and I was actually looking for a place to shoot pool. As all the other poolhall/bars it was league night. Was just driving around looking for something to do I looked to my left and saw The Grid arcade bar, me being an older adult looked it up on Google. Walked in and it was flashback to the late 80's - mid late 90's. Need more beer options. As a pool player I would come here all the time with my lady

10/10 experience definitely recommend definitely a dont judge a book by its cover!!

My kids , husband and I love this place , the owner is so cool and amazing!!!!! My kids know if they get all their stuff done and make good grades they get to go , and my husband knows if he gets his honey do list done he gets to go there lol !!!! So clean and just love hanging there , and enjoying our time !!!!

1yr plus since meeting and discussing fixing my pinball machines, your purchase of the business and your goals. After talking to you I saw in you the three core values most aspire to but rarely achieve. Honesty, Integrity andDependability. That day I was sure you would be successful in your monumental endeavor. I fully. Understood the monumental task you wheretaking on so every delay with fixing my machines was taken in stride and patience until our last conversation. It saddened me to realize you no lo

Went here for a budget date with my girlfriend, we had $40 to spend. Six beverages, TWO AND A HALF HOURS of solid game play for both of us, and I still had a few bucks in my pocket. This place is a gem, we will definitely be back!

This place is amazing! All of the best arcade hits with a killer bar and great drink options. A $10 bill will buy you an afternoon!Ask for Scott he was an awesome bartender!

Love this place definitely me and my buddy?s spot for now on only wish there were more racing games like sega gt or initial D sense were car guys but other than that perfect.

Frequently Asked Questions

What’s it like visiting an arcade today?

It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.

Is it better to go alone or with friends?

Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.

What should I bring to an arcade?

Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.

What’s the best time to visit an arcade?

Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.

Can I meet new people at arcades?

Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.

Are arcades still just for kids?

Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.

Are there events or tournaments I can join?

Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.

What if I’m not great at arcade games?

No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”

Are pinball tables still good in this modern age?

Yes, pinball tables in arcades remain a blast. Their hands-on, skill-driven gameplay delivers a thrill digital games can’t match, blending nostalgia with modern flair. Newer tables from Stern and Jersey Jack feature LCD screens and themes like Avengers or Stranger Things, keeping things exciting. Arcades are seeing a pinball resurgence with vibrant scenes and tournaments like IFPA events drawing crowds. Though less common than video games, pinball’s tactile charm and community vibe make it a standout arcade experience in 2025.

Are retro games in arcades still good in this modern age?

Absolutely, retro games in arcades remain a thrilling draw in 2025! Classics like Pac-Man, Space Invaders, and Street Fighter II offer simple yet addictive gameplay, blending nostalgia with timeless challenge. Modern arcade cabinets often feature crisp displays and restored controls, enhancing the experience. These games thrive on quick reflexes and strategy, with vibrant pixel art and iconic soundtracks that spark joy. Arcades host tournaments and leaderboards, fostering a lively community. While modern games dominate, retro titles provide a unique, accessible thrill that keeps arcades buzzing.
