If you're looking for high-speed indoor fun, The Grid absolutely delivers. The electric go-karts are fast, responsive, and way more powerful than I expected. The track is super well-designed?tight turns, long straights, and elevation changes that actually test your driving skills, not just your foot on the gas. The facility itself is clean, modern, and really well-run. The staff were cool and helpful, making sure everyone understood the rules but still kept things fun. They've got a solid timing system, so
I had an awesome first experience with my son and girlfriend. We definitely need to come back! The people we were racing with SMOKED us. But it's a lot of fun. I definitely recommend checking it out!
We went to a company party held at The Grid. The racing was fun and well organized. We got to play the arcade games and the lounge had a cozy living room, but art deco vibe. There were cubbies to store your belongings in while you race. And the track has 2 tiers, which was fun and exciting after a few times around and you could get oriented. It was an overall enjoyable evening.
Check in was a little confusing cause we had to finish out a couple waivers in person for our group. We were told to do it on the iPads, but not told we needed to return to the desk to finalize check in until about 5min before our assigned heat time. After check in we waited 30min or so without knowing when we would actually be racing and had to ask at the front desk again. They were running behind, but luckily it was the next heat after we asked. Would've been nice to have clearer directions of when it wou
7 of my friends and I came to the grid to celebrate a birthday. For several of us it was our first time ever. At the beginning of our first race there was a crash that made the employees slow down our go karts. That's completely understandable but after that all but 1 of us were never able to get back up to full speed. I personally ended with my fastest race time being 1:20, with my pedal to the metal the entire time. For reference, my car worked properly the second race and my fastest lap time was 1:03. Ho
Came here for date night. Definitely glad we did 2 races. The staff was helpful and friendly and makes sure everyone is safe and follows the rules. Brought my son back with friends and they loved it!
I took my 16 year old grandson for Christmas. He drove, I watched. He loved it and can't wait to go again. What I observed was a very clean, well-run establishment. The employees were very well trained and everything ran smoothly. I was concerned with safety, but those concerns were unwarranted.
This is a REALLY COOL venue with an arcade and electric go-karts. The building is gorgeous and huge! They were adequately staffed with VERY friendly and knowledgeable workers. The arcade was fun even though a handful of machines need to be fixed up a little. $20 in the arcade got me some games on half-price night but if you plan on staying for a while, plan for more $$. The go-karts were fast, responsive and definitely worth the trip. You cannot make the other drivers obey the rules and it would be helpful
Wow, amazing track, ELECTRIC carts, staff is cool and helpful. This would be 5 stars, but I'm just not a fan of the annual fee($9 person) and the other fee(like $7). With those it ended up being $155ish for 4 ppl, which is $40 more(after taxes) than you'd expect to pay when per race per person is $25. Having said that, not a purchase I regret at all, the speed, the turns, the boost!!! As close as I've felt to formula racing. Also not a fan of the rule to slow down and let a person pass, but I get it, g
Hands down the most exciting go kart track I've ever been on, cool environment, friendly staff and after we were done racing, we spoke with the manager of the place Jaycee for about 20 mins! He was great and went out of his way to accommodate us, he made our experience top tier. We will definitely be back!!
This place is absolutely awesome! They have a really really cool racing track for electric go karts. I haven't had a chance to ride those yet but the place is amazing it was the first one like this built in the US. They have space for corporate events. They have a full top-of-the-line arcade and a place for corporate events. That is the darker video you see with the tables as I took the video.
Hosted a birthday party a year back. Good vibes and lighting, great for beginners, track is very grippy and karts are planted. Not too fast and not too technical. Great arcade as well. Only downside is that my groups timing got messed up and our second race we got split up into two groups instead of being in the same heat, and it appears hard for them to help people who get stuck in dark areas. Overlooking that though, pretty good.
Biggest game store I've ever seen. Lot a dudes in here battling it out for world domination of dice or cards or dice. No clue but lots of options and tons of games and board games etc
Expensive and the karts vary massively in speed. Also, the track is so grippy that you can go around the entire thing without letting off. Takes a lot of the fun out of it.
Incredibly underwhelmed at the care for any positive experience from the employees. This was our first time here and was excited to come, but the lack of any communication, information and care from the staff made for a really expensive 45 minutes of time. There was no hello or welcome from the girl at the front desk, who genuinely seemed annoyed we were there. After filling out the waiver she said, okay you can just head in there. In where? What do we do? What is this black thing you handed me? Do we need
I've been to The Grid many times, I always loved it. I even had my bachelor party there last Fall. Some friends from out of town were with us this week and I suggested The Grid as a fun activity to do. We went in and they raised their prices almost 100% since the last time I'd been there from $20 to $35 ($25 for one race and $9 annual membership). The membership is absolutely infuriating and includes largely what was free before (like a head sock). After seeing these prices and policies we walked out and I
Best Go-Karting hands down. My company booked for an event and the venue handled everything very smoothly. From arcade, to space to eat, to organizing track times. The 2 story track is crazy fun and the way they handle people passing eases some track anxiety I had. Rarely did it feel like I was blocking people or I was being blocked. If you like go-karting, I promise you will love this
Had a blast on the gokarts! Such a cool place to visit.
The Grid does it right! From the track layout to the lighting and music they're amazing! It's a great place for a date night, birthday party or just a night out with the guys. Do yourself a favor and check it out!
Listen. If you ain?t first, you're last. And this place? It's first. It's first in speed, first in neon lights, first in VR, and first in making me feel like I just lapped Lewis Hamilton on a Mario Kart track built by sweet baby Jesus in tuxedo T-shirt. These go-karts? Oh, they ain?t your little cousin?s Power Wheels. These things roar like a bald eagle doing 90 in a school zone. I pressed the gas and felt like my soul hit the NOS button. ?Slingshot Engage? to going again when I'm in the area.
Fun place fosho, great with a big group of friends, a small group or just yourself. Karts are usually well maintained and feel great on the track, and staff are pretty nice and helpful. Fun little arcade as well. Karts can wong a bit, sometimes don't get boost but you can still post an average lap time without them.
We came here for a company event, great place to have some fun together. Staff were friendly and helpful with the instructions. Kept the whole thing organized and safe
Nice place to hang out. To many rules & restrictions, You will be constantly being yelled at over other guests and there actions. Just because we are on the same track doesn't mean we all are causing problems. You pay a lot of money to just get yelled at
This was an amazing track. The karts had great grip it's a fun multi leveled course. I also loved the boost button. One of the best tracks I've been to.
We held our company party here. The venue had so much for all ages. It kept the entire group actively engaged for hours. The staff was super knowledgeable and friendly. We can't wait to go back!
Super fun, specially when your with similar talent. Give it four stars because when I schedule online, you can't use your credits. They always tell you to just call in, but most of the time they don't answer. Last time I was there, they told me over the phone (called 4 times) that my buddy could use his credits and so could I. Once we got there, they wouldn't let me change anything and just added credit to my account again. Now I've got like 6 race credits. This happens way to much. It's ridiculous and they
We LOVE The Grid! Since arriving in Utah we've gone to The Grid at least once a month. We've gone in large groups of up to 13 people and we've been just for a good date night. The staff are awesome and do a great job ensuring everyone knows the rules and stays safe. These are fast karts, not your typical go kart track, so safety is a legitimate concern. They make sure everyone on the track is safe and has a great time and we really appreciate that. The track itself is fantastic! It's one of the longest in
Awesome! We went with a group over Xmas and had a blast! Way faster than you'd expect. The ambiance is really nice, very upscale with a comfy chairs and nice lounge areas. The arcades are perfect to play off the adrenaline after the race or if you came a little early and want to kill time. Highly recommended if you're looking for a fun time. Perfect for groups or a date night.
This place is so much fun! I really enjoyed the environment, the staff are very friendly and the overall experience was amazing! I'm definitely going to go back! I recommend this place for anyone who wants to have fun with family and friends.
We had a lot of fun at the Grid. The environment was fun and they give the cars enough power to let you go as fast as possible without spinning out on the corners. The cost was more like what I would expect in California vs Utah but overall we had fun.
My son and I had an awesome experience at the Grid. The facility is massive and very hi tech. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable. The cars are extremely fast and a lot of fun to drive. I'm looking forward to going back with the whole family.
Love the class and cleanliness of this place. When you walk in an overwhelming feeling of calm washed over me. This is one of the most technical carting courses I've gotten to play on! A wonderful day overall. Staff was the best part, Kyle, thank you for walking me through the track my time did improve, and I'm excited to see the improvements planned here. Management, please make sure to upkeep your equipment, for the cost I expect a top-notch experience, thanks to your staff I did receive today, however
It was a lot of fun. We had the whole track to ride on. The electric cars were FAST and they even had a boost/nitro button to speed you up for a few seconds each lap. Had a great time. I will say it's a bit pricey though for the time you get.
Good experience! A lot of fun, but a once a year type of place to visit for us. Karts are a lot of fun, beware one guy threw up after. You gotta have the stomach for it. You'll get about 12 laps in for your money. Blue track is more fun.
Pretty cool go-cart racetrack. Two story racetrack with electric cars and a pretty cool arcade. We had a fun time but it felt like we were racing against nascar drivers with how much faster everyone was going than us making it less fun. Would be nice if there was a tutorial or they taught you how to drive their cars more efficiently. Not the best place for a date but maybe for some friends to go race against one another.
We had a special circumstance with our group that the grid were happily able to accommodate, this accommodation certainly cost them revenue. They went above and beyond and our first evening at the grid was awesome! The Karts! Wow, much faster than others I've driven, and the track length is amazing with elevation changes, etc. Super super fun and I will be spending a ton of hard earned cash here over the years for sure! I'm excited to see their other entertainment and food options that the site says
Go karting was super fun. Staff was very helpful and accommodating not too pricey 100% would go back.
The Grid is a fun go-kart location with, apparently, the second longest track in the world. Races last 9 minutes. The course consists of various twists, turns, going up and down ramps to a peak height of 17 feet off the main floor. Karts hit a maximum of 40mph, which is much faster than most places. One of the big bonuses over most go-kart places is the vehicles are electric, which means no gas fumes in your face as you race (looking at you Boondocks). Cost: this is where the 1 star deduction comes in.
Oh my goodness this place is so much fun!! Went for a party so I have no clue what the prices are like but 10/10 would recommend going with a group of friends! I was left eagerly awaiting my turn to race again and kept wishing for just one more. If you like go kart racing and are over the age of 14 (I believe, the limit could have been 16) I would highly recommend. The go karts went at max speed 40 miles per hour! The only thing I would worry about is the potential of getting light headed and nausea if you
All places have its ups and downs. But in Utah County the grid is where it's at. Kind of pricey, but the two level experience and speed of their boost is worth it. It's a lot better than RedLine in Vineyard (redline is cheaper) that is just boring to look at and race. Staff members are okay, but hey it's in door go kart place. So don't think too highly of it.
The best go-karting experience I've had. I've done quite a lot of go karting in India & a couple places here in the US. The GRID was by far the best in terms of their tracks. Their go karts are kinda rusty, I had sore shoulders & legs after racing twice.
The Grid is where speed meets strategy, and fun is always in overdrive. ????? The electric go-karts are smooth, fast, and surprisingly quiet?until you hear the screech of tires on sharp corners. The track isn't just a loop; it's a maze of twists and turns that?ll have you gripping the wheel like your life depends on it. But it's not just about racing. The arcade is packed with everything from retro classics to cutting-edge games, making it impossible not to find something you love. ?? Whether you're there
This place is huge and bigger in person. Lots of things to do and space to hangout while you wait. I did the full track, it was a blast. These carts have some good speed, can reach 40mph and pull some G's in the corners. Tires are surprisingly grippy. The 2-story corkscrew, multi-level and ramped track is unlike no other. Highly recommend these place.
Probably one of the most legitness places in Utah but definitely in utah county. Bring your chapstick and lotion because the speed of these karts will dry your skin out. The course is fun and fast. Great design and great building. Everything is super clean and neat. Definitely will be back for years to come.
Recently, races that have always been 10 minutes have now been cut back to 8 minutes, yet they're still charging the same price. Very disappointed and I hope they lower the prices to reflect the shortened races now.
Kinda expensive but 100% worth it! Great time with my boys.
By far the funnest indoor track i have ever raced. It goes up 3 stories in tight turns and back down in fast straightaways. My gripe before was the wait time to get into a race but they take reservations now! You only have to show up 30 min before your race.
The go-kart racing in itself is the best you'll probably ever have. You do go really fast and the layout is cool. Super fun for sure. Giving 3 stars though because $35 per person is way too expensive for only a 9ish minute ride in my opinion. Once is fun, but I'd never go back for so expensive a ride. It is, after all, just a go-kart track.
Brought my boyfriend here on a surprise date. His face lit up when we walked inside and he saw what we would be doing. Definitely recommend- we had loads of fun. Watched a short safety video and got our helmets before our race. It was just the 2 of us in our assigned heat and He lapped next multiple times ??.
It is a very fun track. We rented out two private races. The process of renting them out was difficult. Can race up to 12 people on a private race. Something i thought was well done is we booked two races. Thankfully they had a race in between our two races to rest a little bit.
SOOOO much fun! These Karts are fast!!! I love how they email you the results so you can see how cool you are (or how fast others are).
Coolest teen birthday party ever. It's pricey, and they warn you about motion sickness and the physical toll, but there's nothing like drifting around every turn! I'd love to be the only one on the track sometime...
This place is awesome. The track is sick, the staff is amazing, it's home away from home and I'm forever grateful for The Grid!
This is a super fun go karting track. However, it is very expensive and you don't get very much time with the money you spend. The arcade adds to the fun but if you're looking for affordable go karting I would look somewhere else.
The track is big! I personally didn't race, but if you're coming just for the arcade I'd say it's pretty small. Also, wear layers. It's freezing in here. Feels like the ac is blowing in January and it echoes extremely bad in the conference center. Also, can someone tell me what the theme is? Also if you have post traumatic stress from car accidents?don't recommend. Wait. Why is the water pressure in the women?s bathroom strong enough to cut through styrofoam? Ouch! That is all. Thanks the Grid!
I've been here before, and I actually love the grid, so I paid for five of my friends, and I did do two races each for my birthday. Usually it's been great but this time more than half of our cars each race had no boost function. The boost function was not working. Pissed me off, the rest of the races were Fun though.
So much fun! Those ekarts are fast! Mine didn't have turbo mode on the second run, but service was good. Highly recommended instead of staying on the couch!
Very fast and very fun. I like that the karts are electric so there's no exhaust smell like other places. I think the $7 annual membership should be a lifelong membership (like TopGolf and others). It is pretty expensive, that's the only reason for four stars instead of five. Make sure you go on a weekday so that the track is twice as long!
It was incredibly fun. We went as a family and with some of my bro-in-law's friends for his birthday. The staff was kind and explained things well. The track and karts are well-maintained. You can get going really fast and they have a great track to race around. They give you a decent amount of time for each race, so it really feels worth the money you are spending. The whole facility was mell-maintained and we had no issues with any of the staff in any part of it. I would definitely recommend going by and
The grid was super cool but not the kindest my body, i did three runs and after those three runs I felt like I had cracked a rib, majorly bruised my shoulder and I totally threw up after the third round. The track has a lot of turns and the karts are pretty fast. It was honestly a super fun time but I definitely got beat up a bit. Also it's a bit more expensive than I thought it should be. All in all I think one or two runs is great but after the third it seemed like everyone I was with got sick and felt te
This place is awesome! The different levels when you race and speed of the carts makes for an exhilarating experience. Definitely go race with friends and family. You won't regret it (unless you're slow and don't feel the need for speed), then stay home.
Best go cart track that no one seems to know about. Two-lever track is fantastic! If you want to do some fun fast carting, this is the place!
Cool track. The karts seem tamed down which is good for the general public, but more skilled racers might wish for more speed.
Went to the Grid with a youth group tonight - it was awesome! Check in was a breeze, safety instruction was easy to digest for the younger riders, and of course the go-carts and the course was a blast! Well done, The Grid!
My husband was very happy after the race, so I'm highly recommend ??I waited for him, so I have checked the place - very nice ! Great stuff and customer service!
Fun. The first go kart ran great. The second one wasn't so good and seemed to lack a bit of maintenance including where the boost button was broken and didn't work. The track is really fun.
This place is so much fun! I wish I had the time and money to drive down here all the time. The go-kart track is amazing! During the week it's one big track and on the weekends it's split into the blue and red tracks. The karts are fast and nice for being electric. This is NOT like Boondocks and you can have some real fun. I also love that racing status is determined by the fastest lap. Definitely will come back often!
This place was amazing! I have been go Karting before but this was different! Very impressed! Number one tip, If you want to have a lot of fun then don't use the brakes. ??
A fantastic place for endless fun! The staff are incredibly kind and helpful in person, which made our experience great. Their website is extremely frustrating to use when it comes to booking, changing, or canceling appointments. It's not user-friendly and really detracts from the overall experience. However because their front desk girls are so incredible and quick to respond it's a yes for me dog.
Great go kart place, the three level track is nice and the karts go at a great pace. The price range is fair for what is offered and I think I would once or twice a year. My hands personally cramped a bit but the overall experience was very smooth
Fun times were had by all. Can be a little intimidating your first time here, because the karts really are pretty fast. The prices are a little more money than a movie ticket (about 24 bucks a person for about 9 minutes of driving) so if you want a cheap date night, take it someplace else.
If the employees in the front checking people in had the same energy or care as the employees in the track it would help the overall experience. At the time the lobby was empty we were a group of 6 and they ignored us for awhile it seemed like we were bothering them somehow? Other than that the track is fun had a good time racing!
I have been to a dozen different indoor kart and entertainment combined establishments. One of the most impressive to me was in Florida and it was a Mario Andretti type of brand.... What I love about the Grid is that it blew my mind that they've gone above and beyond anything I've seen so far. From the original artwork, to the steam punk retro TRON feel and vibe, to the staff that just kicked but, but let's be real, I've only been to 1 and 2 story type of race tracks, this is 3 flipping levels! So, I es
Booked a work party here, and the staff was super accommodating! Had everything set up for us, and made it an amazing event and experience! Would recommend this place to anyone! A++
Fantastic time racing electronic go karts. Perfect for work team goal reward which we have done a couple of times. We've also gone with friends in a group and for my son?s birthday. We are trying to get under the famed 1:03 time to race with the big boys. Although the 12 mins fly by, it's a fantastic adrenaline rush!
Wow that was so much fun! The atmosphere is amazing The racing was great The workers were nice and the adrenaline you get from going as fast as you possibly can is like no other definitely would recommend going here for go-karting. Only thing I didn't love was the fake engine noises from the electric motors.
Overall, great experience. The help crew is very friendly and courteous. The facility is very neat and clean.
The carting league I'm part of recently decided to try other tracks around Northern Utah and The Grid is one of the best! From the moment you walk in to leaving is an experience unlike almost any other track around. The lobby is beautifully decorated like the lobby of a five start hotel with calm music playing in the background. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and well organized.
Cool track, usually fast karts, and that staff is awesome. Especially my man John!! Will always be chasing sub 1:00 ??
This place is a ton of fun. If you haven't been before, you need to pay an annual membership of $7, so your first ride will cost around $30 for about 9-10 mins of Karting. The track is very cool! Has a small arcade inside you can play (at cost) while you wait too. Overall, it was a very fun experience!
Very fun, very fast, Kaoni was really nice and made sure everything was good like my chin strap and the seat wasn't too far back. The place is amazing, the ambience is cool especially during the Halloween times. Must go if you're in the area :)
The staff was amazing! Track is great! Carts are fast! 100% would recommend!
This place is freaking awesome and worth every penny. The staff was great, everything was cleaner than expected, and the carts were extremely fast. We went after 6 pm on a weekday, so the wait between races wasn't bad at all. You can sign up to get your lap stats emailed to you after the race. Now our office is competing for the best lap time. The worst part is having to remind yourself to slow down on the drive home afterward.
I've been to a few indoor tracks but this is the first time going to one with multiple levels. I like the low light modern feel. They are very organized, staff very nice and answered all the questions I inquired. Check it out, it can be packed so go reserve a heat with your friends/family.
Great track and staff! Thank you George and Ailee for getting me up to speed! Everyone I've interacted with has been super cool and knowledgeable. Would definitely come again.
The Grid was great! The two biggest stand outs for me were the really cool track layout and the customer service. Now days companies forget what good customer service looks like, and they could take a lesson from The Grid. The General Manager was rad and the two girls up front Ailee and Whitney were fanatic!!! My friend and I have never been to the grid because we don't live in Utah, but Ailee and Whitney gave us some tips and help us get the most out of the experience! It was awesome!!
Great configuration and fun all around. Cars were quick and the staff provided good feedback.
This is easily the best go-karting I've ever done. the first time I came I was hesitant because of the price, but it was SO worth it. It's so much fun and the track is unreal. recommend it to everyone. the employees are awesome too. we've talked to Kyle every time we've come in.
It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.
Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.
Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.
Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.
Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.
Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.
Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.
No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
Yes, pinball tables in arcades remain a blast. Their hands-on, skill-driven gameplay delivers a thrill digital games can’t match, blending nostalgia with modern flair. Newer tables from Stern and Jersey Jack feature LCD screens and themes like Avengers or Stranger Things, keeping things exciting. Arcades are seeing a pinball resurgence with vibrant scenes and tournaments like IFPA events drawing crowds. Though less common than video games, pinball’s tactile charm and community vibe make it a standout arcade experience in 2025.
Yes, virtual reality (VR) games in arcades are a top attraction in 2025! Titles like Beat Saber and Half-Life: Alyx deliver immersive thrills with cutting-edge headsets, motion tracking, and responsive controllers. High-resolution displays and spatial audio create heart-pounding experiences, from slashing rhythms to battling zombies. Arcades feature multiplayer VR zones and tournaments, fostering lively communities. VR booths are regularly packed, proving their captivating, next-level gameplay makes them a must-try arcade experience.
Arcade prize games are a thrilling highlight in 2025! Claw machines, skee-ball, and ticket-redemption games like basketball offer a rush of skill and chance, with rewards like plushies, toys, or electronics up for grabs. Modern machines feature vibrant lights, digital scoreboards, and responsive controls, amplifying the fun. The lively arcade atmosphere, with cheering crowds and buzzing energy, makes every win feel epic.
