Customer Reviews

Super dark in the interior, but the glow of the games looks nice. A few of their classic ticket games don't function such as Monster Drop, Big Rig Truckin', even 50% of the ticket muncher/counter. Completely broken games are in the back to the right. Maybe they'll be resurrected one day. Redemption counter was not easily accessible. Cost to play games is somewhat highcompared to the dated age of the arcade games available. They're were a few basketball shooting games, a pool table, and some VR that we sa

This place was awesome! We had my son?s birthday party here over the weekend and the boys LOVED it! I had been in contact with Liam, the owner since I knew we'd be there but wasn't sure about booking a party package. He still let us use the party area, bring in pizza and cake, and was overall very accommodating! We would recommend The Gaming Lab to anyone for a party! Thank you again, Liam!!

We had my son's birthday party here yesterday and it was a wonderful experience. The owner helped all the kids have a great VR experience, the arcade games were a hit, and our little private party area was perfect. We go here often to play because it is fun, safe and it doesn't break the bank. Support local businesses and stop in!

Absolutely love shooting zombies with the wife. Such a good stress relief. We recommend all married couples to check it out. Builds team building skills and communication. Thanks again to the Friendly and patience staff at the Gaming Lab

My family loves to come here to play together. We have kids between 14 and 1 and everyone is entertained. Liam is great. My kids all ask to come here all the time, even though it's quite a drive for us. Thanks for being awesome!

We were just randomly looking for something fun to do on a Sunday afternoon and stumbled in. The games were super fun and we won alot of tickets! The owner was so nice and friendly but gave us space to have fun and enjoy his awesome establishment! We definitely will be back! Must check this place out!

Great owner, fun games for kids. Definitely recommend.

Oh my god. I absolutely love it. As a kid who lives in the area, I go there whenever I get the chance. The arcade is amazing and the VR is amazing every time. And the owner is one of the nicest people I've ever met. He'll give you tips and tricks for the VR games and is just such an amazing guy.

Attended grandchildren's birthday party. All ages, from adults to toddlers had a wonderful day. Staff was great. The 'Lab' took care of everything.

My two boys love this place, we go every other week. They use up every second of there VR time ??. this place also has actual physical tickets and the prizes really make the kids feel like they got something worth it.

Tickets got stuck in a machine told the worker and he said alright I'll get my boss then I proceed to wait 20 minutes as he's sitting behind the counter and then leaves the arcade so I just left but other than that whole experience it's pretty cool

The people in this area always wish there was more to do here. Got your wish. We need to give these entertainment venues our support. They're rare and fragile in Port Huron.

Great customer service and a great place for a birthday party. It was a big hit for the kids!

I spent way too much playing ski ball and I will keep doing it. Good selection of games and even vr. Next time vr, next time.

Amazing services and a wide variety of games to play, also with PCs which is a huge plus, as an experienced vr user, I approve!

Very friendly staff, amazing customer service!!! Kids had a blast and keep asking to go back:)

Best arcade in the mall, don't bother with the small ones.

The best place to have fun. Also really friendly staff.

Needs to fill in with a few more games but I love it so far

There's a variety of gaming options.

Frequently Asked Questions

What’s it like visiting an arcade today?

It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.

Is it better to go alone or with friends?

Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.

What should I bring to an arcade?

Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.

What’s the best time to visit an arcade?

Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.

Can I meet new people at arcades?

Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.

Are arcades still just for kids?

Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.

Are there events or tournaments I can join?

Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.

What if I’m not great at arcade games?

No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
