10 out of 10, great place for MTG especially. If you and your friends have any other games you need space for get in touch with the owners. They will work with you to accommodate all types of groups and games.
I've been a long time supporter of The Gamer's Lounge ever since it opened, and they have a wonderful business. They offer a wide variety of stuff, from video games on systems like PS5 and Switch, and board/card game things like Magic. The store caters to both casual and competitive scenes as well. If you want to have a fun time to relax and play stuff somewhere, this is definitely a place to come check out!
It's a fun time! There are plenty of events each month to get you interested, and the owners are very warm and welcoming. I only dock a star due to two minor, fixable gripes: some cleanliness concerns (the state of commonly used items such as controllers, for example) as I had gotten sick some hours after my first visit, and the seemingly major focus on tabletop and TCG communities (which may alienate potentially wider audiences). Other than that, I highly recommend this store to those who wish to take thei
I have been going here for around a year, and it been amazing. The people are friendly, always open to teaching new people about games. And the variety of games to play, as well as people to meet is like no other. If you're looking for a place to play Magic the gathering or video games, there is no better place in Bristol.
It's the best spot in town. Great community, the owners are two of the best people I know. They got magic, d&d, computers and PlayStations, a Co-op corner that's perfect for that old school land party nostalgia. Black ops zombies, smash bros, diablo. $35 a month for an unlimited access pass and discount on drinks, snacks, and other purchases. Warhammer/one page rules. I can't recommend it enough, if I could give it 12 stars I would.
Love this place! James and JT are some of the nicest folks I know! They got a lot going in with special events and tournaments every month as well as a ton of space for both table top and video games. Tons of PCs and consoles. One Page Rules / Warhammer nights! Great place to hang with friends or make some new ones. Can't recommend this place enough!
My group and I have been coming here for the last 5 weeks for our weekly D&D sessions and we couldn't happier. These are some of the coolest and most inviting folks we've had the pleasure to hang out with. Not only are they willing to accommodate our rambunctious sessions but helped us get into Magic and show us the ropes. This is the best place for tabletop games with plenty tables for rent as well as multiple gaming PCs and PlayStations. Stop on by, you won't regret it!
I love this place, such an amazing atmosphere and get to play my favorite games with my equally favorite people. Bristol?s best place for it all!!!!
Great place to go to have fun with friends. A very welcoming community.
I have been playing here at the Gamers Lounge for almost 2 years now. This is one of the most welcoming, friendly, fun places in Bristol, TN. James and JT, the owners, treat all costumers like family. It is such a fun to come chill whether you are doing homework, playing magic, or playing some Fall Guys. This is a great place!!
10 out of 5 stars. This place is an awesome environment and super welcoming. Never met JT but I can say James is awesome. I fully recommend checking this place out if you enjoy mtg, games or dnd!
I've been looking for an establishment like this for years. Me and my girlfriend found this place on Google Maps. For context, she and I have been looking for a nice place to sit down and play a couple of our tabletop games, because we simply don't have the space currently for some of our more large and convoluted ones. We came here, and I was instantly blown away by not only their setup, but their prices as well. They offer many different rates for different systems, and the two employees we met were extr
We held a birthday party hear for my twin 7 year olds. The owner was a huge help with getting the kids situated and was extremely patient with them switching games as often as they pleased. Parties are private and they close the business to all other clients until the party is over. After the party itself, he helped clean up the space, and was kind enough to not rush us out the door once our time was up. Games are available for kids as young as 3-4 and upwards to more mature ages. They're even willing to ge
Had a blast here with some good friends playing some fun board games. The owner is cool and super chill. Ill have to come buy for some of those tournaments they advertise on Discord.
What a pleasant surprise! This place was a perfect fit for us for a birthday party. Pricing was reasonable and the owners were extremely helpful, allowing younger gamers to enjoy themselves. It's definitely a great place to hang out and enjoy all those games you've wanted to try but don't have at home or to play multi-player games with your friends. Great options for reminiscing and playing all the oldies too!
Highly recommend! Owners are awesome, atmosphere is relaxed and comfortable (unless of course there is an exciting tournament in progress ??), variety in games is terrific, they keeps things mixed up and it never gets stale! Been going with my kids for months and we absolutely love it there. It is our go to venue for entertainment!
This place has a great environment and the owners are very chill. I would bring some good closed headphones if you want to do some competitive gaming because it can get kind of loud on days they have tournaments.
I came to play D&D with a group and had a great time! James, one of the owners, was very nice and friendly. He gave me a tour of the facility and all they had to offer. I think its a great concept and I look forward to coming back and playing other things besides just D&D! If you like video or table top games you should definitely check it out!
Genuinely one of the best places for anything game related. Whether you want to play table top, board games, video games, or just want a place to hang out, the lounge has some of the nicest people you'll ever meet with incredibly understanding and nice owners. There's a community here for pretty much everyone.
The owners are friendly and nice to everyone who comes in. They keep the place clean. They have a large number of consoles and computers that are up to date and have plenty of games. Don't pass this place up if you are looking for a place to take the kids or want to hang out with other gamers and friendly people. You can even bring your own equipment or games. I bring board games every time I go. Check them out on Facebook to see their monthly schedule for events but go in anytime they are open to have fun.
I had a good experience i felt welcomed, everyone was friendly
Amazing staff and genuine passion for building a community in the area, they host a ton of different events and have a great playspace but they also support local artists and creators as well!
Super great place to hang out, JT is the man and deserves to win the lottery for his kindness. seriously he's like the nicest dude. really great prices and just an overall fun place to be.
All the owners are SOOOOO mean, and definitely not super funny and nice. The place is SOOOOO gross, and it's definitely not a super clean with a welcoming environment. All around SOOOOO BAD, and definitely not my favorite place to go and play magic/D&D.
The owners are really nice. Both my children love going and being able to play games we don't have at home. Also playing on the PS5. My son loved the Virtual Reality and had a good workout with it. Good place to go would recommend it .
Long story short, a friend and I were recommended this place when we were looking for an arcade. We got a nice tour and got to play in VR, a PS5, and some retro stuff. All affordable and much less of a pain than breaking out the old N64 or GameCube. 100% recommend. Already have plans with more friends to go again.
Absolutely awesome place. Kind of reminiscent of an early internet Cafe but with hyper-modern gaming equipment. Owners are extremely knowledgeable on everything game related, from magic, poker, building your own computer, new console games, VR, retro. I spent 6 hours here before I knew it. If you love arcades, card games, or miss those early 2000's couch co-op shooters with your buddies after school, this is literally the only place that can fill that niche.
If this could be rated as a New York Times best seller it would be for sure! I recommend this place to anybody of any age you enjoys gaming and so much more! They have a variety of options to fulfill your wants in needs from cards to board games to electronics of all sorts! Mentioning such electronics include PCs, PS5s, oculus, and a soon to be retro room that will include a multitude of retro games! All in all It is in my personal opinion the best place to go for gaming and good times in Tennessee!
Yes, I have thumbs JT and they're both up.
My kiddos and hubby had a ball here! Loved the different games that appealed to each of their interest and generations. Prices are very affordable and worth the joy and fun you will have here as well as the memories made. One son loved the retro games, the other wore himself out on the Oculus.
literally watch a person get bullied out of game even the building and one the owners do nothing make it right but make it worse, believe ppl called him JT. After the person left ppl still continued to laugh and make fun of that guy that left. Not coming back there if going treat ppl like that. very immature......
Never did have the games I was looking for but still a fun place to go would 100% recommend trying it out
Awesome place! There's been a game I've wanted to play for a long time and never had the chance. This place lets me do that, on a PS5 nonetheless! It's a great place to hang out too!
Our 12 year old son has always wanted to play his favorite retro games on a PC and James made it happen for him. His kindness, professionalism, knowledge, and down to earth personality made our experience extraordinary.
I had never played magic when I first came now I'm millions of dollars in credit card debt 10/10 will recommend to everyone and anyone willing to listen
The owner was super nice and helpful, the facility was clean and well put together, and the environment was welcoming! 10/10 would drag friends there even against their will!
I've never had a bad time here they make me and my family feel so at home and I always have so much fun me and my family go up there so much that the owners are like family to us now everyone should check them out.
If you visit The Gamers Lounge, be sure you leave your wallet in the car. JT *will* convince you to buy something, especially if you don't need it.
We love it there and the guys were very great and helpful. I would have a party there again! 10/10
10 out 10 best place to game at friendly environment friendly people come and help support them if you are into gameing would definitely go anyway anyway the week

Excellent experience all around!!
I love this community!
It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.
Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.
Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.
Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.
Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.
Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.
Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.
No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
