For the past several months our organization has had activities at The Game is Afoot. Before stumbling across this place, I did not know high quality arcades like this still existed in this area! Our experiences here have been fantastic. The place is clean, the games are extremely varied, and the staff are as friendly as friendly can be. I visited Game is Afoot for their 10th anniversary party and it was really a great place! They had a good selection of games and the individuals working there were really nice people. They also got pizza from Antica Pizza Co next door which was really good also! Just an overall good time playing video games and having pizza- I would highly recommend!

Such a fun place to take my son and just play some games. It's reasonably priced and the people working the desk are really nice. You basically buy by the half hour block with unlimited play on all the arcade games, so it's not like you are pumping a hundred quarters in the machine. It's also not a ?ticket? place that is ridiculously priced for cheap prizes, it's just a fun arcade with hundreds of games. I highly recommend this small business!!

took my family here on a sunday afternoon and everyone had a blast! clean ? fun ? decorated in a super nostalgic way. Best part is it is affordable ? love that you buy a time block instead of having to worry about quarters or swiping a card! would definitely recommend for a family outing or a cute date night

I love how the day pass is $40. But if you're going to some other popular arcade they will cost 2x more money than that! This is the best arcade I've ever been to!

The arcade is definitely worth trying if you have not. It is $3 per 15 minutes so pretty well priced. Additionally, there are a variety of games and experiences available. My only complaint is that many of the arcade cabinets are glitchy, and some that have monitors attached have VERY poor quality to the point it's hard to see and experience the game. My non verbal autistic child was playing with the coffee creamers and sugars when the woman who is the owner violently grabbed her by the shoulders from behind and yelled at her. She also told me my daughter was stealing candy and was costing her a lot of money. I explained to her she's non verbal autistic and doesn't understand only then she apologized. I will not be returning to this non special needs welcoming establishment

Good retro arcade with newer games as well. Worth the current 15$ an hour price. Also has a DDR machine which is a huge bonus.

The decor catches your eye when you first walk in, it's awesome. Pricing is fair at $3 per 15 minutes and you don't have to pay for children under a certain age. I only gave 3 stars because there were a few games glitching or didn't work at all. The games are unlocked for free play so no quarters or cards needed on top of cover charge. Some of the arcade machines are unlocked with multiple old school nes, super nes, game boy, game cube, sega and N64 games so plan to spend some time.

Fun time. Do the $40 all day pass and play for however many hours you want. I miss the police shooter machine. Area51 was an ok replacement

They have games that are old retro and some that are pretty new. Shooting game golf game sports games and all sorts of games.

Such a great place! Good prices, friendly, staff and clean! Had so much fun playing Centipede and vintage pinball games. Also, played my favorite pinball game ? Gorgar and new fave Austin Powers! I highly recommend it!!

We had our son's 10th birthday party here recently. The owner, Lorraine, was incredibly accommodating. They were able to squeeze us in for the party on an already busy day for them. The place was clean and staff was friendly. This arcade is one of my favorite places to go and my son deemed it the best birthday party ever.

If your childhood was during the 80s and 90s this might be a paradise for you. What you will find are old arcade classics, nes, genesis, games from your childhood to bring back nostalgia of drinking jolt cola and slamming quarter after quarter into street fighter II, ninja turtles, and nba jams.

This place is like if you were a kid in the 90s and had the thought "I wish I could play this arcade game with all the time and plays in the world". The selection is diverse enough where the appeal ranges from the early 80s to the 10s.

They have GREAT pinball machines ranging from new (Star Trek/Star Wars) to old (Gorgar!). This place is ridiculously awesome. There's a great selection of pinball machines. There's also several interactive games, including driving, shooting, and dance and rhythm games. There are also several machines that have.EVERY GAME EVER CREATED downloaded on them. The only problem is that the interface on those can be a little clunky if you don't know how to use them. Fun arcade. Came here on a Monday night for a small party. Party room was nice. Arcade floor not crowded at all. Never had to wait for a machine but again it was a weeknight. Lots of old games to choose from. Everything is open credits no quarters or cards. Neat to see and play all the old nostalgic games. Staff was pleasant and helpful. A few of the games were out of order but there was enough to go around. Decor was very cool even the bathroom had art on the walls.

This is a great rainy day activity. The kids love it and the parents get to enjoy some games from their youth. Tons of pinball. Super reasonable. No posting pretty game. Pay by the hour. Very friendly and informative! My husband and I love it here. We just had his birthday party here and they were awesome! They made sure everything was there for set up! Very nice and efficient! Had my daughter's 8th birthday there and all the kids had a blast. They have a great diversity of games and a private room perfect for pizza and cake. For adults like myself, who grew up hanging out in coin-operated arcades, this place brings back some great memories, got to play so many classics...Would totally recommend this place. Definitely a place to come back to and enjoy before and/or after a movie which is right next door!

When I first walked inside, they welcomed me great. I did the fifteen minute pass. I only played pinball. I adore pinball. I did not see the whole show room. I highly recommend if in your in the area, to check it out, no doubt.

My family and I went on a Sunday to celebrate our son's 16th birthday. This location had games for everyone in the family. We had our son?s 7th birthday here, had a wonderful experience. Kids and adults alike had a blast. As the coordinators, we had the best experience as well. Gone are the days of dictator owners and nickel and dime pricing. The whole experience was extremely accommodating, flexible, and well executed. Considering having my birthday party here soon (BYOB if you rent the place out!). Kudos to the staff and ownership.

Visited this place this past weekend with the family and the kids had a blast. Plenty of old (original) games as well as an abundance of emulated cabinets. The prices were comparable for the time we spent there, but I would suggest that you take the time to price it and your trip(s) out. Only con I would say is that there were a few games out due to waiting on parts.

I took my grandson here on Black Friday and he had a great day. We have done this two years now and I think it may become a tradition.

It was awesome!! We celebrated a birthday they where excited to experience the arcade like I did when I was a kid. Not your typical stay at home game play. Arcades are better even with older 80's and 90's games the positive fun energy that you can feel that you share with everyone is priceless... arcades thing of the past think not... atleast not with me nor my family and friends do it once and you'll be hooked. This arcade recently expanded, so it is a decent size with a nice selection of games....especially since they have the emulators, so there is no chance of ever having played everything. Granted, some of the games were not running - hopefully they get them all up soon. But for $35 to play the whole day as much as you want, with all the games set to free-to-play, it's worth it....we had a great time!

Great selection of games to choose from. Recently expanded. Went here with 3 generations to have some fun. Everyone had a blast, and we didn't want to go. Was the highlight of my sons trip to Pennsylvania. Next door to what smelled like a great sub sandwich place. Easy in and out. I am sure we would go back if we lived here.

This place is fun. The kids dragged me here and then had to drag me out. It's $3 for 15 minutes and all the games are set to free play. There are a lot of classics here that really made me feel like a kid again. Spy Hunter, Galaga, Defender and tons of pinball machines. The place itself is nice and clean and the staff are always friendly and helpful.

It was a blast. My wife and I spent part of her 55th birthday here and we had a ball.. what made it more enjoyable was not having to pump in coins or tokens. Pay as you go and everything is on free play. 2 games on one of the game emulator cabinets didn't play right. But that's the only complaint.. the staff was patient and very helpful.. we felt just like kids again in 2 hours flew by

Overall a very good experience! Most of the cabinets were working, and in good condition, though a couple were out of order. Star Wars Arcade could use a tune-up or replacement on its monitor - it's pretty dark to the point where visibility is impacted, especially if you're going for a full trilogy playthrough. We looked up arcade in the area. This place was perfect. It was clean. It had all the 80s retro games i could remeber. And the pinball machines were great. The location is perfect for a night out with the family. And the price was right. This place is a blast from my past! All my old favorites, from true arcade comes to console games! And I don't need quarters! The ladie and I came In today for the first time and ended up blowing an hour on gauntlet legends. The owners are amazing, and love what they do and it just adds to the experience! Great variety of games (all of which actually worked - something I've never seen in any arcade in thirty years), and the pay-as-you-go pricing is awesome. When I first saw this place, I was really excited to discover a new arcade. Unfortunately it was a huge disappointment. I'm in my mid-30's and grew up in the time when arcades and arcade games were all over the place. This place misses the mark on everything that made arcade gaming so fun. Terrible experience. The person in charge messed up the time we paid for. In the middle of the play a fire alarm went off and we had to leave with 30 minutes missed and no refund or explanation. On top of that in the short time we were in there a good number of games didn't work.

In all of this 2020 madness The Game is Afoot Arcade is taking their customers safety seriously (masks, sanitizing, etc.) while also staying open to give us all something fun to do. They have a ton of awesome games, are innovating with a new projection screen system with a whole different set of games on it, and are a wonderful place in Warrington that's still open to go and have fun! I highly recommend checking it out.

I loved the arcade it had that awsome retro feel you would expect out of an arcade. The large screens just added to the awsomeness. But the only problem I felt should be fixed is the buttons. because they are a little hard to push down, which can be a bit of a problem when your playing a game that requires you to go trigger happy on enemys. I love this place! I love the variety of the pinball machines and everyone is always friendly. Sometimes you walk into places like this and you feel like you've walked into someone else's clubhouse but it's not like that at all, they are very welcoming!

I loved the play by the hour deal at this Arcade. This is one of the closest Bucks County old school Arcades to my home. It beats driving all the way to the shore just for something like that these days. And you don't even have to dunk in your coins. With the Fast and Furious Drift Arcade Game, it made it more easier to max out upgrades on one of the cars in the game. Looking forward to coming back.

We went to the new gander mountain next door and my kids saw the sign and wanted to go. We had a great time. My wife and I played aliens while the kids played pinball. All had fun, very casual and we were surprised with the number of possible games to play. A member of the staff even defeated me in street fighter with akuma's raging demon. My husband brought me here for my 55tg birthday and I felt like a kid but didn't have to worry about running out of quarters. The gentleman working was great about helping out with the games and was very pleasant.

Took 4 kids (12-14) and they all were able to find what they wanted to play. I had a place to sit and wait while they play. Unfortunately I asked for a WiFi password but the staff at the desk told me it was only for the staff.

Cool arcade, lots of multi-game arcade consoles with huge selection of classic games across every system / arcade manufacturer I've heard of and some. They have the unlimited play by the hour vs. the coin per play; I like the play by the hour, especially with kids so you don't have to sweat running out of coins / credits.

It was cool to do for a minute. All games are not classic gems, per se. A lot of broken machines, buttons and knobs. I liked the front open area for old people to sit and nap. I really enjoyed my nap.

I love the prices! There are so many games could stay for hours. Its a large space packed with games old school and new. It's a great location next to an amc movie theater and cold stone creamery. Also on a strip where tons of shopping is like Wal-Mart and target.

Has a great selection of games. The company has really changed and responded to what customers like to play. A real fun place to take the kids. If you want to play some arcade games this is the place.

Good arcade with great pricing, they are renovating to add more variety, has unique fun games but not quite enough variety at the moment for a 5 star review in my opinion. Bottom line, great place to have fun and kill an hour.

This is a very nostalgic arcade. You will pay $12 an hour to play as many games and pinball machines as you want. This is also a BYOB so you can play video games while adulting. Limited selection. Lots of Multi System arcades that have ALL the classics. But not the same as playing them on the originals. Where's NBA Jam, or TMNT? Maybe Street Fighter? Not to be found. Get the classics. I can play 80% of the games they have @ home. Good way to kill time, but all in all, not all it could be.

Absolutely solid arcade, excellent selection of games, and at 12 dollars an hour and no tokens required it's become one of my go to spots for a fun Friday night.

Fun Place and pay by the hour. Only a handful of games out of order, but plenty to play with the kids for an hour or two. Starting the emulator games not as simple as you would hope.
