Customer Reviews

Oh my!!! The place indeed is a lab! There's just a lot to try out! I really enjoyed the laser tag, the slide, the basketball game?. In fact, everything! I went with my sisters and we really enjoyed it. Their food, very nice. We had the grilled chicken pizza, fries, corn dog and doughnuts

Me and my grandson love to go to this place but it could use some work for their attractions and food. We've been here before, had a good time. But this time has been surprisingly concerning but not on a super bad level. We decided to try the food and picked out a small pizza for us to share. It was around 9 dollars for a small, assuming it would be enough for both of us. Surprisingly, no, it was not a decent size for the price and it was burned on the crust with the sauce spilling out. It was smaller than

This place was super cool. Check in: Check in was confusing. We showed them our online tickets. A person with a manager pin called over somebody else, who called somebody else, and so on about 5 times. The arcade: The arcade was okay and pretty fun. The food: The food was spectacular. Laser tag: Laser tag was very fun and intense. I beat my family by a lot of points while being outnumbered. It was one of the best parts here. They had a neon room thingy next to it that was confusing and ate up our credi

Great venue with unique games that the whole family will enjoy. The VR games are very fun! If you're taking a group, and you want concessions, let them know in advance so they can have staff available for larger parties.

What a fun way to end our Spring Break! We spent 4 1/2 hours there (kids age 7 & 11), we did all the things, we had the wildfire taco pizza for lunch (delicious!) and we played all the games. The staff is happy and kind, the facility is very clean, the restaurant and concessions are reasonably priced and delicious! Definitely going back some time!

Had a fun time playing games on New Year's Day with our 13-yr-old son. Liked the attractions most and the Connect 4 basketball game!

We had an amazing experience! Everyone on the staff was so friendly professional and my daughter had the best time ever! She said she's would rather be at, ?the fun lab? then Disney world! Because the staff was amazing! We are from Florida and we will definitely be checking out ?the fun lab? in Blaine MN again soon!

OK, this is too much of a hidden gem, I live only 2 miles away and didn't know it was here and I regret all the missed times of fun we could?ve had but guess what not anymore! I took my son and his friends and neighbors on a Friday. We are here right now having the time of our lives even as adults. The food is top-tier, the space is extremely clean and the service is impeccable a plus plus plus Also, Taylor and Alex killed it with our food. It is so good. I may have to take them home ?? as personal chefs!

This place is absolutely amazing. We did our son?s 5th birthday here and I have never seen him have so much fun. Every kid there was all smiles and each family ranted about how much fun they had. The staff were absolutely amazing. The girl that hosted our party was truly great and you could tell she really loved kids.

Not sure what happened to the Fun Lab. When we arrived around 5:30pm it had a sign on the front saying it was closing at 7:45 to host an adults only night. Which is so weird because 90% of the entire place is catered to kids. (We love the inclusion of adult bevs and an attraction or two that is for us) But to turn it into an adult only thing is weird. Couldn't make a menu item we ordered because of mold on the bread. $400 in arcade only purchases and at the end of the night ( when they made an overhead anno

Great meme?s on the wall-all with a science theme; they are quite cute. The employees all run around with white lab ?? coats; a perfect uniform ??. They have a really fun jungle gym in the center of the facility with these really cool soft balls that you can launch with air, it was quite entertaining. Lots of fun kids (and adults) of all ages!

Visited here first impression upon walking in was it was clean. This place has tons of games for kids to emit themselves including vr. Has an area where you can purchase food. Also for the adults who drink they serve alcohol beverages.

The staff is great and most of it is up and running. The time-based cards are terrible if it is busy. The kids end up waiting in line to use what you paid for. It could actually use some time-based, arcade cards. I saw the party packs. Those actually looked decent if you have a birthday party with a bunch of kids

Today was our first time ever going and we got thr 90 minute package and it comes with so many options my daughter just wasn't feeling the bumper cars and laser tag included with our package and only wanted to do arcade games so we asked front desk if they would change our package and refund and there was absolutely no hesitation it was a yes immediately and even stated they just wanted our daughter to have a great experience and have fun, the owner then offered us to try this super fun laser maze game and

We went for their Halloween event. It was a great deal and my kids had a blast. We don't normally go to arcades because they are overpriced experiences but the deal made it worth the trip. Do those more often and, when we're in the area, we'll come back!

I was looking for some place to celebrate my daughter's birthday and came across a Groupon for this location. I have never been here before wasn't really sure what to expect other than the descriptions on the website, and was overwhelmingly pleased with my experience. Upon checking in I met the owner, he and his wife were both awesome and kept stopping us to make sure that everything was going well and that we were having fun. These two are an absolute class-act and I applaud them for taking a chance at st

Cool new place! Food was pretty good and the food portion were adequate. There is quite a bit to do and explorer, so be sure carve-out two and a half to three-hours for your adventure. If you have an additional extra hour the arcade is also worth experiencing.

Had my son's birthday party here. The staff was amazing and guided us to each of our activities. It was very smooth transitions and the kids, most importantly, had a blast.

It was OK. Not as much stuff to do as it appeared on the website. We got the medium $29.99 pack, and adult were $5. Thank goodness! The thongs we did were fun, but we only aha 2.5 hours, and spent most of it in line. We then ordered food, and pretty sure they forgot about us, and some others. About a 45 minute wait for a couple pretzels. Mostly young staff, and apparently very short staffed. Everyone was polite, but overpriced for what we got!

Our family was at the Fun Lab Saturday May 24th what a great experience . The place is clean , good selection of games for the kids and the adults . Nice food options and drink selection . Great place to have your next birthday party . GO GO GO

Tried this place out on a Sunday. Went with my nephew 5yrs old and my teenage daughter 17yrs old. We got there early around 11am. I left around 12:45pm and it was starting to load up. Since it's a time base pricing, waiting wouldn't be great for the price so get there early. Arcade is additional meaning you have to pay tokens per play. The price on games was expensive like D&B. My nephew enjoyed it. My daughter was over it after 1hr. Prices on food and beer were fair, we didn't get anything. I wouldn't reco

My son Brandon, his friend and I went here for his birthday.. we had a blast . Everything was so much fun. Next time we come we are buying the package that includes arcade.. The pizza was so good. Very friendly staff.. Definitely going back ??

I had purchase 100 dollars worth of day pass, I could not use anything at all. Everything was crowded and people would budge in line no one monitored how people were bugging in line. What is worse the parents allowing it. I would not waste your money on anything with some much rude people here. like grand slam, David buster sky zone is not as bad as this even Chucky cheese is not as bad as this place!!!!

BEST Place Ever! I am so grateful to the AMAZING Staff,, everyone we came into contact with was awesome! They took our group of 40 in on short notice and did not disappoint! it was the perfect everything. Enough room for us, food came super fast and tasted great! The kids had fun, the parents enjoyed being able to have something for every age! My family will definitely be visiting this place again! If you have not been it is a MUST! Thank you! Thank you!

This was a fun place to take the kids during winter break. We had gift cards to use. I would recommend getting the highest level of ticket so your kids can do all of the activities available so long as your kids are over 3 as some of the attractions are age limited. It's just easier to manage so you don't have kids disappointed that they cannot do something. Due to staffing shortages, we were unable to do the ropes course and that was a bit of a disappointment. Also, given the staffing shortages, th

I'm disappointed in our visit. You pay for unlimited time to do a couple of things and the kids didn't do anything more than once. The kids wanted the arcade which each game cost 4-10pts so to truly have fun each person would need $100.

The fun lab was absolutely amazing! My boys have been there a few times now and they absolutely love it it was my first time being there and I didn't know that adults could do a lot of the things that the kids could do and I thought that was really awesome there's also a food area and a very very small bar but a bar nonetheless LOL for us adults that has some beer and wine options. Not much but it's something which is a far cry from a lot of other kid-friendly places that we go. I highly recommend it to a l

Overall a fun place. My son and I had a great time doing the activities and games together. The only downside was a couple of the games took our points but we were still unable to play due to system malfunction or something. We will still be back.

Fantastic experience hosting a birthday party for 12x 7 year old boys! The reservation process was straight forward and our party host was great with the kids. I had low expectations of the pizza and cupcakes, but was pleasantly surprised. No surprise fees or add ons. Thank you for a great time!

Grandson Birthday here. If was owner, I would have bought the building it's very small but very nice, even had a bar, cold one. Thanks Torres

Date day with my boy, had a blast! Bumper cars, dark ride and ropes were our faves! Made for a fun day!!!

A great place for a kids birthday party! The kids loved it and everything went great. Our host Addison was amazing, great with the kids & so helpful. She really is what made everything so great!

Such a fun place!! My kids loved it here.

Got to meet the owners during the day today and got a tour. Fast forward to tonight ? date night with my husband and we have to say this is the most fun we have had in a long time on a date night. Fun can be had for all ages! Highly recommend date night, family time and other events you may be planning to plan your event at The Fun Lab.

Fun place to let the kids run out some of their energy while enjoying the multiple party areas. Nice menu choices and can be fun for the entire family.

Funny story. We normally take the girls to Zero Gravity, lots of running, climbing and jumping. We thought that was the better of the two, we were wrong, the girls enjoyed Fun Lab more. Just goes to show that what the adults think is fun is much different than what the young adults know is fun. I feel old...

For about a year now, my son and I have been making the 45+ minute drive to Dave and busters from Lino Lakes. By chance I discovered Fun lab in Blaine yesterday. First off, the pricing was very reasonable compared to how much I spend at Dave and busters, plus much more to do. With a full arcade, lazer tag, bumper cars, and virtual reality/3D options, it's hard to get everything in with a five year old. I had no idea what to choose, and the staff Member named Riley was phenomenal. Polite, informative, and

Went in for my kids birthday, first time there. The play place was legit, the arcade games were a blast, and the staff is friendly and helpful, and it was clean! Special shout out to the shift lead James. He was wonderful. Can't wait to go back for an adult date night, and to try the VR. Fun was had by the whole family.

I'm only giving them 5 stars because they resolved the issue, but I'm unlikely to return. They need to clearly communicate party reservations upfront, ideally at the point of sale. My kids had to wait in line for 15 minutes at two different attractions, only to be told they couldn't enter because of a party reservation. This is frustrating for children and cuts into their limited time. While I don't oppose party reservations, having so many throughout the day makes it difficult for regular visitors to enjoy

Came here with a group of adults and we had an absolute blast! The bumper spin cars are fun as is the laser tag. The price is great for what you get to experience. Will definitely be back!

So much fun! What a great staff, cold beer, excellent food, and soooooo many things to do! We will definitely have another birthday party here. Nick P. was a fabulous host!

Always a 5. Great pizza, usually not crowded when we go and our kiddos have a blast for at least 2 hours.

Today was supposed to be an eventful special day for my grandson 11th birthday never did I expect for it to uneventful at the end a package was bought for $ 500 this was supposed to cover everything for the party the largest package offered the kids were given cards for activities but started returning after 10 minutes of play we had to go up and find out why only to be told after the fact that each card for the kids had different values some unlimited others not now why wouldn't each kid be given an unlim

Always a good time when we go here! I love how they offer a discount for the parents to choose a pass of whatever pass their kids got, and it's half off. I've recently got into the laser tag, and it's a lot of fun, especially with a large group. The XD ride is also my favorite! Was surprised at the quality of the food, which was really good! A little disappointed that they no longer offer mini bowling.

Went to fun lab today purchased 2 balloocity 2 bumper cars. 2 lazer 2 lazer tags and 2 1 hour arcade cards. As my 2 6 year boys were waiting for the bumper cars we played w game of air hockey. The bumper cars were done before the air hockey my kids ran past the bumper cars gate the attended yelled at my 2 6 year old boys stomping his feet pointing his finger red in the face like they had committed a crime I then asked him what was wrong with him he apologized but I asked to speak to his manager. I told his

Clean, very nice staff, quite on a Tuesday evening. Loved the unlimited play for two hours with the family. Perfect to blow off some steam when weather isn't all that great. The variety of things to do was appreciated. Loved the dark ride, rope course, virtual reality, laser tag, and maze. The bumper cars had a fun twist where they automate and shake things up. Smaller arcade but the Hanes were in good shape and I didn't feel they were to loud (like Dave n Buster's) . I am a science geek so loved the scien

Good place for kids to have fun. There is a party Room and a mini bar for Adults drinks ??

A great place for kids age 4-10! I'm sure even older kids (or kids at heart lol) would find something fun to do here! Seems like a great place for kids parties, although it seems the party packages are a bit on the spendy side In my opinion.

10/10 their pizza taste incredible, it's hard not to finish it all! The staff here are very welcoming! I had a fantastic time with my family! Definitely worth the money! This would be a perfect place to go to for a birthday party!

I wouldn't take kids younger than 5, there isn't much for them to do but it was fun. Very unique space!

My family and i went there tonight as a random fun thing to do on a Wednesday night. It was our first time going, when we first came in we were greeted well and the nice young lady explained the prices and everything. The attractions are a lil bit over prices if ya ask me.. the arcade is more affordable then some though. I was excited because the cashier told us we were the only ones there so far , it was like 5:30. I was like sweet that means we'll get service with all of these workers we see around here !

Great time for both kids and adults!! The owners are very hands on and kind. We've been there two times now and plan on going again as soon as our schedule permits. Laser tag was a hit for all age groups and had a great course layout. As an adult I was blown away at the quality of the attractions! The "Dark VR" was super fun, we did the Werewolf and then also the new Carnival "scenarios". Both were a great time and much more immersive than any other game/ride of this type that I have played. The spinning bu

My family was here last weekend for a birthday party. My son had a blast with all the attractions. Staff were friendly and the place was clean. Our only down fall was we purchased a "unlimited" arcade pass for one hour for my daughter who is 7 and come to find out 40 minutes in this pass doesn't accumulate tickets. What child wants to play games and not get tickets, its kind of the whole point. This was a huge disappointment and really a rip off. I did see "restrictions apply" and I guess I assumed t

Nice fun place. Prize value to ticket ratio was a little on high side so you need ALOT of tickets to really get anything decent. Great party packages

This place is great! It's like a normal arcade on steriods! Great ticket payouts on all the games, good prizes and ticket prices. Fun new games you usually dont see at any other arcade, VR x2 bumper cars and mini bowling with more in store. Highly recommend, go check this place out!

They r open again!! Bring the kids to work out the wiggles! Wow!! We went for a birthday party and found a gem! This place is amazing. It's like a modern chunky cheese. Great food and beer for adults and tons of fun arcade games for kids. They even had a rope walk and Virtual reality area anddddd a play place for kids to climb. It had everything! So impressed. I can't believe I've just been driving past this. It's so fun we're going back next week for a family fun night with their brick oven pizza

This place is so much fun! We did an all day pass and spent the entire day there from opening to close. My youngest is 6 and she was able to do everything too. The staff was very friendly and the food was great too. They really have it all here!

Owner is a very nice guy, will work out all details on a birthday party for you..price is great for what you get. I recommend though focus on play time and not eating cake and presents as it takes a while to experience all of the attractions..

My kids really enjoy the arcade and laser tag. Arcade games let you win a decent amount of tickets.

Super sweet place with an awesome variety of games for kids and adults. Laser tag, ropes course, virtual reality, bumper cars. We will definitely be back again.

I'd give it 5 but the pizza was absolutely the worst thing I've ever eaten. Kids had a great time we spent like 5 hours there and had a great time then we sat down for dinner and spent $40 on pizzas that tasted like cardboard and plastic.

Fun place! The staff were clearly tired, but they were still friendly and helpful

We love this place. Wish they would bring back the weeknight food and play deals so we could go more often. But very fun place for families with kids that are young and old. Arcade is ridiculously expensive the $5 they include with passes gets like 2 games..

Great place to tke the kids and family to have fun. They have a good variety of things to do and also have adult beverages and food. THE ONLY PROBLEM IS THERE WAS NO HAND SANATIZER IN ANY PLAY AREAS. there was only one at the front desk and in the birthday party rooms.

Such a wonderful experience as we celebrated our son?s birthday! Very welcoming. Top notch customer service. We all had a blast!

Its a better smaller less dark version of Chucky cheese. No Giant monster robot rats to scare ya! My 8yr old had a great time. So did I ! Nothing makes a kid giggle more than watching their dad roll around on the floor trying not to touch the lasers in the laser maze. vr is cool too

This place is fantastic. It's like a happy medium between Dave and busters and Chuck-E-Cheese. We will definitely go back again. The VR Booth is awesome!

4 of us went. 8yr old boy. 14yr old boy. 2 adults. 1 gal. 1 fella. In case it matters. We got there about an hour before close. The staff was patient upon arrival as I tried to get most bang for my buck so close to closing time. Explained options and what everything was. While my youngest jumped and shouted out what he wanted to do and tried to go in without the rest of us. Didn't faze kid behind the counter. The staff was patient again at closing. Both with irritated parents and over excited, over tired, i

Nice place staff was great they also have a restaurant/bar wine beer food my kids love it .

All ages was fantastic, the unlimited was the best way to go, hours of fun

Great spot to bring your little ones. Arcade games, food, and a really cool indoor playground.

Great place to take kids. Pretty fun as an adult also. The virtual games are amazing. Laser tag was also a big hit. Very fun.

Kids love it. Their favorites are the group VR, laser tag, and dark ride. Large arcade and the ticket prices for prizes aren't too bad. A little pricey

It is so fun and they have slides and food

What child doesn't love this place my..my kid went wild ??

I brought 5 boys during spring break. They had an excellent time! We'll be back.

So much fun!! The 4d ride was the best. Kids had a blast!

This place is a blast! Totally worth the money. Laser tag, bumper cars, indoor park, arcade, virtual reality, food and drinks for kids and adults. So much fun!

First time being here with my son for a day of fun. Was greeted by the owner with a warm welcome. He spent time to walk over pricing and packages available depending on our activities we wanted to enjoy. Prices were really reasonable and I enjoyed that I was able to join my son in some of the activities with the special they had for January. Place was busy but clean. Even though it didn't seem like they had enough staff, there was one always around to help and keep the kids safe. Food prices and beer prices

Took students on a field trip to Fun Lab and we had SO MUCH FUN! I would recommend this place to anyone the kids had a blast. The staff was kind and so accommodating for our group. There were lots of activities for the students to do. And most importantly, the sign of a great time, every kid was asleep on the bus ride back to school! Thank you Jim and crew for a memorable morning for our students!

A Blast of Fun for All Ages at The Fun Lab, Blaine ????? I recently had the pleasure of visiting The Fun Lab in Blaine, MN, and I must say, it was an absolute blast! This entertainment center exceeded all my expectations, offering a variety of attractions and activities that catered to both kids and adults. It truly is a one-stop destination for a fun-filled day with family or friends. The Fun Lab has something for everyone - from arcade games and virtual reality experiences to laser tag and mini-golf. T

Lots of fun things to do, they have an arcade laser tag, laser maze, mini bowling

Great experience. Super clean. Super welcoming staff! However, I would recommend going first thing in the morning because it gets super packed right after lunch. Also, the concession stand is not open until noon and just understand that if you're hungry, you're gonna be waiting a very long time. Plan accordingly.

Great place with lots of fun for the kids and the adults. 2 hour unlimited play from Groupon went by very fast.

We had our corporate lab event here with over 20 adult members. Everyone loved it! They have a lot to offer. Laser tag, multi player arcade games, XD dark ride, and bumper cars were amongst our favourites! Their event manager Kristin helped us find the right package with good discounts. All in all, would highly recommend this place!

Still very new but it's a local fun option when it's too cold outside to do anything. It's not cheap either so be prepared to spend some money. The kids loved it!

Fun place to throw a kids party but can be spendy. Staff could be a lot more upbeat.

BEWARE THIS PLACE HAS GOT TO BE THE WORST BIRTHDAY PARTY PLACE EVER!! For $400 it's definitely a major rip off. It's not personable and just blah. The spin zone bumper cars had three broken which makes no sense when your hosting parties they should all be running so my party had to go half and half which was stupid. I was told they would get three rides they only got two. Then a man kept coming and interrupting the person running the bumper cars so that took away time as well. The pizza was so flat it was b

Frequently Asked Questions

What’s it like visiting an arcade today?

It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.

Is it better to go alone or with friends?

Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.

What should I bring to an arcade?

Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.

What’s the best time to visit an arcade?

Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.

Can I meet new people at arcades?

Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.

Are arcades still just for kids?

Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.

Are there events or tournaments I can join?

Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.

What if I’m not great at arcade games?

No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”

Are virtual reality games in arcades worth playing?

Yes, virtual reality (VR) games in arcades are a top attraction in 2025! Titles like Beat Saber and Half-Life: Alyx deliver immersive thrills with cutting-edge headsets, motion tracking, and responsive controllers. High-resolution displays and spatial audio create heart-pounding experiences, from slashing rhythms to battling zombies. Arcades feature multiplayer VR zones and tournaments, fostering lively communities. VR booths are regularly packed, proving their captivating, next-level gameplay makes them a must-try arcade experience.

Why are arcade prize games so exciting to play?

Arcade prize games are a thrilling highlight in 2025! Claw machines, skee-ball, and ticket-redemption games like basketball offer a rush of skill and chance, with rewards like plushies, toys, or electronics up for grabs. Modern machines feature vibrant lights, digital scoreboards, and responsive controls, amplifying the fun. The lively arcade atmosphere, with cheering crowds and buzzing energy, makes every win feel epic.
