Soooo many pinballs and cool merch and artwork that you can buy from them. I appreciate them decorating to the occasion. Staff were friendly, it felt very much like a family business which made us feel like we were at home. I just wish it wasn't in an isolated area so that more people can explore this awesome place! Definitely looking forward to my next visit. :)
Fun place with newer and older pinball machines. The workers are super nice. Lots of hard sanitizer throughout the place too, and it even smells good. Clean bathrooms and clean place. Easy free parking in a safe area. You need to bring cash and they have a quarter machine for plays. Neat little pinball place..located near the Costco in Concord.
Very nice place. Its quite un assuming from the outside. But once inside its an awesome pinball arcade. Many many pinball machines. All quater operated which is nice and fair pricing. Glad to see places like this exist.
Absolutely one of the best pinball arcades in the east Bay. Wide selection of impeccably maintained machines from electromechanical to solid state to modern Sterns. Family run operation by excellent humans. Always a treat to visit!
They are a delightful find. The place is clean. The people friendly and accommodating. It is accessible with seating when you need a break. Affordable since it's by the game - depending on your skill lol. I loved the dual framing purpose with interesting things to look at. A Disney room. Glow in the dark art. Pinball games sorted by era and maintained in excellent condition. There's a small reasonably priced snack bar if you get the munchies but can't stop playing. I also really liked the noise volu
Love The Flipper Room and have come here here regularly for a few years. The owners/managers are friendly and helpful. They have a great variety of games and rotate in the newest releaes. The game related art adds an extra cool touch. Definitely worth a visit if you have any interest in pinball.
It's a fun place to go with my family and play a variety of vintage and brand-new pinball machines.
Great place to have some pinball fun. Definitely bring some cash if you're planning on playing. The have some snacks and refreshments if necessary. Bathrooms and beautiful art and frames. Some merchandise shelfs. Seating if you need to rest. Great for half an hour or more depending on how much you play. Elvira's table definitely is my fav as I feel it's the funnest. I believe they switch out machines regularly and check up on them as well.
Awesome! Tons of pinball machines. All really well maintained. A Few tastful mods. And beautiful machines, clean playfield, high end leds. Cool art everywhere; star wars, super heros, zombies. Spacious. Really big fan. Pictures only showing a handful of machines. There are lots more.
Great place to catch up on your pinball skills. Loved the throwback machines. Not many food or drink choices. There is no watering hole close by to be able to go and come back.
My son and I had a great time at the Flipper Room. It was his first time playing pinball machines, and he truly enjoyed it?we both did. We also enjoyed a lot of the fantastic artwork that decorates the place. I also appreciate the introduction to the place, information regarding event dates and times, and information regarding a flipper league for kids. We will be returning. Thank you!
Epic! All games were tuned perfectly. No game cost more than $1.00. So many games! Awesome.
Took my two sons here after a Friday morning day off breakfast. We could have stayed here much longer but had other things on our schedule. Enjoy not only the retro games but all the themed rooms and the artwork (and for purchase). Will be back for sure!
I needed to have two rare, valuable autographed photos matted, mounted & framed. I brought them in & Mike showed me some various options. I'm more than pleased with the results and give my highest recommendation!
A family owned biz that made me feel welcome. The machines are in great working order and inexpensive to play. I was happy to see people of all ages enjoying pinball. I keep my eye-hand coordination sharp with these exercises and have fun. Team54
My brother told me about this place. Such a fun idea to have restored and new pinball machines to play. Older games are just 25? and the newest are you to $1. A little crowded if the place gets packed, they need to find a bigger space soon. Wonderful artwork for sale from old pinball table artwork to pop-culture art. Owner was ready to help get change if lost in a machine. Definitely going back!
Fished all the quarters out of the change jar and spent an afternoon here with the kids. We all had a great time. A great variety of pinball machines spanning the decades. Cool artwork and apparel for sale, too. Highly recommend a visit!
My first visit was a memorable one! The machines are in Amazing shape! Great selection of games. They have sodas and snacks for sale as well. Over 25 pinball machines to choose from !
Awesome spot. Great place to have fun with the family.
They have a great selection of well maintained, recent vintage games! Tons of cool artwork on the walls give the space a really nice arcade vibe, and there is a super convenient framing store attached for all of your framing needs!
Great place full of very well maintained pinball machines in themed rooms.
Wonderful atmosphere. Friendly staff. AND PINBALL!!!!!!! What else can you ask for! Perfect way to spend a couple hours and get those fingers flipping. Highly recommend this place to anyone that likes to play pinball. Multiple machines available to play, and the custom artwork hanging on the walls is super interesting.
Very cool spot for pinball. Machines are maintained and in good condition. You can see the pride of ownership at this establishment. If you like pinball and are in the area, you might want to stop by.
Went with my girlfriend and had a blast. So many machines to play on, very friendly staff, and such amazing art
I was in attendance at the flipper room on Sunday. I'd been here once before and the machines were flawless, and these machines are in mint condition. Pinball is great. I love to play. The idea of a Pinball Party was brilliant. The taco bar was a stroke of genius. Shout out to the two ladies running the grill like a well oiled machine. Check out my reviews.
This is a great place to play pinball. There's a great selection of games and also you can actually hear the games. Plus there cool artwork all around and the people are all chill and nice.
Very cool little spot games are top shape even the old ones
Tough to find, but worth it. Took the kids there for an afternoon of pinball, and everyone had a fun time. The games range from classic to modern whiz bang and a few electronic ones tossed in for good measure. Clean facility, staffed by experts, so questions are answered quickly and accurately. On site change machine, so very handy. Good parking. Good for a couple hours of gaming with kids, then they are worn outemtally - focus required.
This spot offered the best pinball experience I've had so far! They have great games and a laid back environment. They also have a large selection and many of my favorites.
Wow! I came expecting a back alley framing shop n route of pinball machines. But this fellow has variety, in themed groups. Done are beautiful and clean. Machines are clean and in good repair. Art on the walls is awesome! Sanitizer. Great working change machines. Best pinball venue I've been to. Many late model machines. Good deals (most are buy 2 get one free). Lots of fun. I'm coming back for sure and telling all my friends about it!
The Flipper Room is an amazing place. Every Tuesday they hold a tournament based event where silver ball veterans and new beginners like myself can meet and compete with like minded players. Mike is truly a gem when it comes to his creative decor and there are plenty of machines to dump your quarters into. The best part is each pinball room has a sort of generational appeal. I am impressed by the upkeep of the machines! There are 70s style foreign machines from Spain, an 1980s Ali (my fav) or the newer pinb
Pretty cool place. Just finding out about this hidden jewel. They have pinball tables from 1965 through 2023. As a 53 year old, pinball was the original arcade game for me. Plus they do picture framing and have a lot of cool black light art work.
It's always so much fun here. The decorations and art are impeccable amongst the amazing pinball machines. My kids play pinball while I look at everything on display. You can spend as much money and time as you like here. I highly recommend checking this place out.
One of the coolest spots for pinball! Well maintained machines, kid friendly, and the owners are amazing folks. Got my most favorite bracelet from them. Y?all rule!
Amazing place with plenty of pinball machines. Will visit ??again!! ????
There is a really great variety of awesome pinball machines to play and some really cool art to check out on every wall of each room.
Great pinball line up, wonderful people. If you're looking for pictures or frames too it's the spot to go! Definitely bring your quarters or some cash to get change to play the games. 10/10 would recommend to visit
Very cool spot with tons of pinball machines ranging from 25? to $1 per credit. The walls are full of rad art from various artists, most of which is for sale! I went with 2 friends and we had a blast, played pinball for 2 hours and each only spent about $10. We met Mike who is a super chill dude and didn't rush us out the door when they were closing and we still had quarters. Definitely worth checking out if you like pinball, blacklight posters, or just need something framed.
Possibly the best pinball room in California when it comes to quality of the machines. Immaculate! My favorite place to play tables. Too bad it's a 6 hour drive from me. Always worth the trip though.
Great collection of Pinball machines. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Machines are well cared for.
Great place for all ages. They have newer pinball and older pinball machines. Staff was very friendly and helpful. They have plenty of stools for kids and have cups so that you can put your coins inside. Paintings they sell look pretty awesome.
Fun spot! Introduced daughters age 11 and 9 to pinball. They had a good time! Reasonable priced games and fun art on the walls to look at.
Love that this place even exists, the staff is also very friendly and knowledgeable about pinballs. Definitely a hidden treasure in Concord, I come here on a weekly basis because I'm happy here, that is, of course, until I lose my 3rd ball on one these machines lol.
Great hidden spot for fun pinball action! So many rooms with a variety of pinball games. There are lots of amazing paintings and they are available for purchase. So much fun and a very unique spot!
Wow. What an amazing place. So many pinball machines. I am visiting from Va and was way impressed with the pinball games and the pristine condition of all of the games. New and old in perfect working order and very fun to play. Definitely don't don't miss this fun place to play cool pinball games.
The service is amazing!!! I went in with a couple of pictures and a canvas piece not knowing what I wanted and they did a fantastic job finding the right frame for each one. Bonus points for being such a cool shop, you should go check out the art work and pinball games.
This is the best place in Northern California to play pinball. Free Gold Watch is great and all but this place is passing them up quickly! They have 40 pins that are all in excellent condition.
Awesome Pinball machines for a great price. Real chill too ??
Great place to go and play pinball! The psychedelic artwork and black lights are just fantastic
The staff there is great. i was actually visiting APF for a picture framing consultation. Highly recommend if you want wuality framing for your personal artwork collection.
This place is awesome If you like pinball even a little bit it's totally worth going to and spending five or so dollars Not all of the machines are built equally if there's some that are definitely better than others Notable ones that I think are worth doing are the Scooby-Doo one and the Rick and Morty one They have a wide variety of eclectic vintage machines that are also really fun to play on they are also cheaper than the newer ones I hear they do tournaments on Tuesdays where they stay open later but I
This place freaking AWESOME ?? I have spent hours in there.
Fantastic art and framing shop. Did I mention it's also the best pinball venue I've been to? (and I've been to a lot). Great owner and staff. I enthusiastically recommend you check this place out for your framing and pinball needs??.
Been wanting to check this place out for a while now. Finally got the chance today. Wow! Immaculate condition machines! Definitely a must visit if you are in bay area, and if you are into Disney and Star wars, the artwork is very impressive!
Great place well maintained machines. Amazing artwork.
This was a little Golden Gem that my friend told me about and it's actually quite a cool place. Very clean inside and inviting. I wasn't too excited about the management those smoking up pot in the bathroom or in the managers room.
Nice little pinball arcade. Games are .75 a play except the new Metalica game 1.00 per play. All games were in great working order. A nice stop before going to Costco.
Super Cool place. The owner was super nice and the art there is amazing. Real cool vibe there and a big selection of pinball machines. I need to go back
Sensational Atmosphere. Quiet cool bar like without the drunks! TRULY a family place with an astonishing ART & FRAMING family owned built in biz. Leave with a natural endorphin hi ??
Great pinball games, old and new! Clean and well kept ?? . This place is a hidden GEM! Staff friendly and knowledgeable. Fantastic artworks throughout!
The best pinball and framing services!! Awesome artwork for purchase as well...!!
Hidden gem. Good amount of different pinball and games are reasonably priced. You only pay for what you want to play and there's no admission.
Quality pinball AND excelent framing. Got a painting rematted and played the silver ball. About 20 or so machines, even the new Stern games. Game prices range, bring quarters or flat bills.
Great place to play ALOT of pinball games, good place to get info and repair advice. Highly recommend!!!
Great selection of machines and a wonderful vibe. One of the top places in all of the bay area to play pinball at.
The best pinball room in the bay area. Rotating selection, always pristinely maintained, lively tournaments, and excellent art.
So cool! Middle of nowhere you think you're I'm the wrong place but it's there! Was so 80s retro awesome art fun machines. Can't wait to go back!
The two games I played are extremely fun!
Great primarily pinball arcade in The City. Well kept coin op machines and variety.

A really well curated collection of games in immaculate condition. the people are friendly and there is a nice chill feel to the room. Games are on coin play
This place has about 30 pinball machines - most of them newer. If you like to play, you've got to stop by!
Small but has a lot of machines
The place is cool. More for the older folks from the 80s....kids didn't really like it.
Old school pinball really does still exist. They rotate machines so your sure to fond a favorite!
Great place. Very welcoming staff.
This place is awesome. I never was a video game person, but I had a lot of fun and the staff was great
Best pins in town. Art is amazing!
Cool local pinball hangout in the back of a picture framing shop! Very clean and friendly.
A beautiful hidden gem... If you like Art and Pinball you will LOVE TFR!
Awesome selection of well-maintained pinballs! Highly recommend if you're into pinballs.
Owner is great. Really into pinball. Hours have been extended.
The place is great. Brings back old memories no Pac-Man here. Everybody go there. You need to go there.
It's very old school and fun just full of pinball pretty hard to find if you ask me
This place is awesome!
Super cool out of the way hidden gem! Great place to take a date or hang out with friends!
Awesome pinball place with great art.
It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.
Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.
Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.
Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.
Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.
Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.
Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.
No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
Yes, pinball tables in arcades remain a blast. Their hands-on, skill-driven gameplay delivers a thrill digital games can’t match, blending nostalgia with modern flair. Newer tables from Stern and Jersey Jack feature LCD screens and themes like Avengers or Stranger Things, keeping things exciting. Arcades are seeing a pinball resurgence with vibrant scenes and tournaments like IFPA events drawing crowds. Though less common than video games, pinball’s tactile charm and community vibe make it a standout arcade experience in 2025.
