We recently wrapped up a three-day conference with an event at The Fair on 4, and it was the perfect way to close things out. From start to finish, the experience was fantastic. The staff was friendly, attentive, and incredibly easy to work with, which made planning and executing the event feel effortless. The service was top notch, and every detail was handled with care. The venue itself is a blast?plenty of activities, a fun and energetic vibe, and something for everyone to enjoy. If you're looking for
We went to the Fair on 4 to throw some axes. There wasn't a wait and we didn't make a reservation. Our guide was informative and attentive but didn't hover over us. I enjoyed myself!
Very reasonably priced. It was a great place to spend a couple hours out of the mall chaos and allow the kids to play games and burn some energy. The kids were able to spend about 1.5 hours in the arcade before getting bored. Food was good, just typical bar food, but was nice to be able to enjoy a cocktail.
We worked with the event coordinator to secure The Lodge for an event at The Fair on 4. The event coordinator was so easy to work with and provided us with immense support and details. The staff at The Fair on 4 are outstanding - Celina in particular was incredible to work with and went above and beyond. From the hosts to the axe throwing coach, managers, servers and bartenders... We sincerely appreciate the team here and the work you all do! THANK YOU!
Seriously one of my favorite places to stop at in the mall. Asia, Ryan, Tony, Marquise, Josh, Ian and Jamie are truly some of the most hospitable people I have ever met. They are the definition of customer service and make everyone feel welcome.
Came for their holiday menu in December and their food was so good I was excited to see some of the holiday items on their regular menu now! I've brought friends, family and coworkers and everyone has enjoyed finding something fun to try. It really has an indoor fair feel where you can sit where you'd like and grab food at any time between the activities you want to do. Great spot for office get together or just for family fun! Bonus points for management being so integrated into the staff that you can have
Came here for the Winter Wounderland, not so much. Please step up the decorations. Now the meal, it was delicious. I had the Leadfoot Cubano and it was one of the better Cubanos I've eaten. Garlic fries were very tasty, and so was the Swanky Garlic Cheese Bread. If your in the MOA travel up to 4 and give this place a try. Plenty of games, go carts and even axe throwing to entertain the whole family.
our experience was fantastic! our instructor/server Chad was absolutely wonderful!! we had some of the seasonal drinks which were delicious! shared the nachos and steak fries, both were great! the axe throwing was so fun and Chad gave us pointers on how to improve our score! the service was fast and the staff was great! will definitely be back!!!
Super fun! We've actually been back several times over the last few months. Staff is great and friendly whether it was adults or kids? Chris even remembered us as we walked up and made us feel at home even on a busy weekend day where I'm sure they see 100?s of people throughout the day.
Myself and an elder decided why not go karts he just turned 71 and hasn't driven in a while, but man did he get a thrill with the go karts. We couldn't have asked for nicer or more patient staff, the young man who helped him in and out of his kart really went above and beyond that day to make sure my friend had a great time. The elder stated it was a "thrill" and he'd "Gladly do it again anytime". I also had a great time and plan on bringing my kids next. Thank you again to the Staff who accommodated us thi
For food we had to go to the bar to order even though we were the only people in there. I ordered buffalo chicken wrap and literally had 4 small pieces of chicken in half of my warp, the rest was lettuce. Needed help at prize counter multiple times for my nieces and nephews and the staff seemed unpleased to help. The big fun things are very expensive. Only about 15 arcade games. Not worth it.
Came here Saturday during the day. Really wanted to like this place, but left disappointed. The place is a bit confusing in terms of how to order. They have a bar seating area where you can order food and drinks at the bar. They also have a row of tables behind the axe throwing which is open seating but was a huge mess with stuff all over most of the tables, not being sure if people were sitting in groups or what. Then you had the kitchen you could order food from and another bar with just drinks. We ord
First time here, there are many activities to try, axe throwing, go karts, and arcade games. We did not have a reservation but planned to spend some time at the mall so we were added to the waitlist for go karts (took about 2.5 hours so plan accordingly if you don't have a reservation). The wait time was not an issue as we understood that with a group of a dozen people, we would have to be patient. Our group was divided into 3 groups for racing and all was fun as there is a spectator area where we watched
ive been here for multiple reasons. when i was here for the go karting it was very fun :) i definitely would recommend ive also done some of the arcade games / the big jenga and thats really fun too the barstaff are friendly and the drinks are average however! we ordered the cheese curds and they were gross, we ended up throwing them away because they just were not good. they were pretty overpriced too (but ofc its moa lol)
You cannot come here and get bad service. Every bartender I have ever seen here is friendly and great at making a drink. Date night, just bored, or you just wanna bar talk with some cool people THE LEMON BAR MARTINI IS IT!!
The atmosphere and location are actually pretty nice it has great potential but wife and I were very disappointed in the organization and the food they had. The food was very overpriced for what you get they should really amp up the quality. Beer selection is wide but could be better in my opinion. They just need to work on the vibe and the quality of food make people feel like they are actually at the fair.
My wife and I have enjoyed this establishment several times over the years. Yesterday my wife and I decided to swing by and throw some axes and get some food / drinks. Now a lot of people who leave reviews have no real experience in the services industry. Prior to currently owning and operating a very successful small business, I was an operations manager for a MN brewery for several years. I understand the service industry like the back of my hand. The food at this establishment was absolutely horrible. N
Neat addition to the MOA. Go-karts and axe throwing are the attractions with an arcade. Expensive and a confusing check in process. The offer a full bar and menu options but not something we tried. It was good to try it once. UPDATE, tried the axe throwing again, it was fun, but not exciting.
The axe throwing was a lot of fun, the instructor was friendly, and you can't go wrong with mini donuts. I didn't try the go karts though because they were on the expensive side. The non mini donut food was just ok, but they have a decent beer selection.
Did the go-carts with some friends and it was super fun but the price seemed very pricey for the short time that we got to drive them for (about 5 minutes for $35?). The 2 guys running the go-carts were fun but I wouldn't do it again simply because it seemed too pricey.
Conveniently located at the Mall of America. Axe Throwing and Go-Karts are the main attractions however, they also have arcade games and those are pretty fun too! My bonus son and I decided to do the Go-Karts while my husband and daughter played the arcade games. I will say the front staff was not the friendliest and never made eye contact when answering our questions, other than that we had a great time! Oh and there's one very awkward hairpin turn, watch out for that one- it's brutal!
Excellent drink choices, friendly bartenders, tons of seating. They have a huge tap list, and AXE throwing!!!! What a combo!!! Drunks with axes!!!!! Clean facility, lots of adult drinks, tons of games. Large fun space on the fourth floor of the Mall of America. Excellent for parties!
Horrible Management at The Fair on 4th Let me get straight to the point? The Fair on 4th is an absolute mess, and it's all because of terrible management. The employees are doing everything they can, but when there's no leadership, no organization, and no accountability, the whole place falls apart. From the moment we walked in, it was clear no one was in control. The staff was overwhelmed, running around trying to keep up while management was nowhere to be found. Orders were wrong, wait times were ridicul
We didn't eat but the buddy's orange and grape soda were a hit with our crew. Chris was our lumberjack and did an awesome job??. We had a blast with our group of ten chucking axes for a hour. Super fun!????
We stopped in here to pass time while waiting for our Rainforest Cafe reservation. I'm so glad we did! There was a 1.5-hour wait for go karts, but no wait for axe throwing! Weekend pricing was $18/person for 30 minutes and $28 for 60 minutes. Totally worth it! (The axe-throwing places in Stillwater are $20-$25/hr, typically with a wait, so pricing is competitive.) 30 minutes was plenty of axe throwing time for 3 people on a lane. We completed the scorecard and had time for 2 extra rounds. Be sure the timer
I've done the go karting twice now. First experience was pretty great as all the other people (2 buddies and I think there was 2 random outside people) were watching flag signals like you're supposed to. Second time I went with my gf and it was very disappointing. None of the other people on the track were watching flags or completely ignoring them. Staff usually says they will pull you off if you are ignoring signals or bumping/hitting walls to many times. Just really irritating spending $30+ for I believe
Asia was amazing! She's hilarious and such good energy! Her service was amazing I'll definitely come back !!
I came on vacation, I was with my friends and how the rules are not clear, we sat down and wanted to try and the people who attended us instead of being kind and explaining, literally threw us out, because we had not signed the consent, nowhere do they explain, and as soon as they realized that we spoke Spanish they simply stopped attending us and told us that only at the front desk, where literally there was no one, terrible service, if they wanted to have good customer service they explain in a better way
Service is amazing. Everyone was very helpful and attentive. Stopped her 4 times over the weekend to throw axes and race go carts. Had a great draft beer selection. Food menu was somewhat limited if you are looking for fine dining. If it's bar food you want this place is amazing.
The duck wontons were delicious, the pretzel tasted more like salted french bread, cheese was good, fries were okay, but their sausage with pretzel bread and cabbage was SO GOOD. I'd definitely suggest more easy-to-eat type fair foods. I wish more malls had something like this. I hope this place keeps pushing to be successful, we'd love to be able to visit again in the future.
Stopped here for a late lunch a week ago. Standard menu that one would expect. Prices are reasonable. The dining area was clean and service was good. It would not be on the top of my list at MOA but it wouldn't be at the bottom either.
Interesting place on 4th floor. Some of the food looks ok but cheese curds and pizza ?? are not up to par with the price. Avoid food here and the rest is your ok I think.
Had a great time doing gokarts actually fast. course was entertaining. Staff was friendly and helpful with getting the cart adjusted to fit me better as a 6'3" rider. Will definitely make a stop back on my next trip
The food is good and the service is amazing. First stop the food is good because the duck meat is good and also my dog is good and Donuts are good also they're not greasy but when we try the new Apple coleslaw it's delicious but there is too much vinegar for my taste but it's delicious and fresh and also the apple coleslaw it's kind of okay of Apple coleslaw but the duck meat and corn dogs are good also so I get this raid four stars and and I wish they can get 10 Stars but I'm giving five stars for good cu
AMAZING EXPERIENCE! DEFINITELY VISIT WHEN AT THE MALL OF AMERICA!!! We came up from Texas this July to get away from the 100+ degree heat, visit the Mall, and see how the Midwestern folks enjoy their entertainment. Wow! Texas only has outdoor go kart tracks, but this thing is something short of being at Disney World's Magic Mountain, which is a roaster coaster in the dark. Now, imagine a full out go kart racetrack built under blue ray lighting, with steep and tight curbs, and an ability to reach max speeds.
Spent $33 on go-carts and was assigned one with poor steering. I tested other ones after I had finished and they didn't have the same issue. Overexerted my wrist while trying to make the tight turns and only managed to complete three laps while everyone else in my group completed 7. I brought it up to multiple operators and they dimissed it. I don't think I'll be coming again. The place lookslike it was fun for my friends though. That's why it's so disappointing.
The wait for the food was horrible. We ordered pizza/ burgers amongst other things. We were told we would get the pizza first and burgers about 15 mins after. We waited an hour & 15 mins for our pizza and then another 20 minutes for our burgers. The food was cold & burnt. The kids ate the pizza because they were hungry and didn't want to wait any longer. Burgers weren't tasty at all. The mini donuts were given to us cold with barely any cinnamon on them. For the prices, I would think the food would be bette
Had a lot of fun with our server! Chad was great and was very informal on any questions we had. Would definitely recommend to anyone I know!
Wow :D Yummy Decently Priced Food. Bumper Go Carts, Drunk Axe Throwing, Retro Games, and open an hour later than the mall itself! Friendly staff too.
This was amazing!! Our server/instructor was so friendly and helped determine point values when it was a close call. Anyone can throw an axe, you don't have to be athletic or even good at it. I highly suggest the pizza and lemonade, they both were fantastic. A definite must for your next MOA trip.
Connor provided an amazing experience with my group when we went axe throwing! Super knowledgeable, really good, and super fun. Food was super good and the whole atmosphere kept us there for a long while. Will return again!
Absolutely amazing staff, super clean facility, and a lot of fun! From the bartenders to the staff running the go carts, every staff member greeted me with a big smile. I highly suggest going here if you're looking for a fun time with family or friends. The go cart racing is super fun, and you can opt in to receive your scores via email. Absolutely amazing!
Go karts are a must!!! Karaoke is a lot of fun!! Fun and great staff!! If your looking to stay busy I have to say you will!! Games axes throwing go karts!! A must stop to check out!! LOVE THIS PLACE!!! I LOVE HOSTING KARAOKE HERE!!!
The bartenders are my favorite! :) The atmosphere is so inviting and warming! I will come back EVERY TIME I'm at the mall! The managers are also very helpful to the staff and the cleanliness is out of this WORLD??????
Really fun place. Staff was excellent. Food was good. They have axe throwing, go carts and some video games that yield tickets. First time axe throwing and the staff was super helpful in helping me understand how to make it stick.
Love this place. The bartender are really attentive and cool. Fyi there's a go cart track inside this place, and you can throw axes around. ?? If you have problems with your ex take them here.
I was there last night for an event, and everyone was super nice, staff included. Food was amazing. Overall service was awesome. It's just a shame that I was wearing sandals so I couldn't do go karts nor axe throws(because I wasn't also wearing an orange band, which I guess apparently based on what a lady server told me but she was really nice about it and apologetic). The mac & cheese was out of this world btw. Was nice to see everybody I knew there(from work). My only grudge even though I'm not gonna chan
Food was good love the steak fries. Go karts are awesome. Good atmosphere all around.
We wanted to check out the new fair on 4 and we're glad we did. Way less crowded than nickelodeon land and we enjoyed a couple of beers while our kiddo played the games. It was self serve but it makes sense why. One game ate 16 credits but the manager was super cool and gave us our points back. Kids get to cash in their points for prizes, like Grand Slam...if anyone knows what that was. The moa arcade was closed too so this was a worth while stop.
Chris the Axe Guy was awesome! Awesome vibes and a great experience! Pay that man!
Friendly staff and a nice variety of drinks and food! We did axe throwing and the instructors were great! Will definitely be back!
Cost was 62 after taxes for my teen daughter and myself. We got about 10 laps before it was over. Kinda priced but man that's fun. There are 2 different carts to race. The pro, which is fast, then the juniors for kids under 13, which are slow. We both did pro carts. The people working there were very friendly
Didn't have any food, but the axe throwing and drink were a great experience. Do be prepared for the price tag though.
I went there to try some go-karts, but the experience was disappointing. One of the staff members spent the whole time flirting with the girls and ignored other customers. When I pointed out that one of my seat belts was tangled, they just had me ride without fixing it. Plus, they didn't bother helping me figure out how to properly wear my helmet, which made me feel overlooked and unsafe.
My sisters and I throw axes monthly, and it's the highlight of our month. Whatever Connor is getting paid, it is not enough. If you're thinking of going, make sure to pick a time when he is working. He is a great teacher, funny and attentive, and he will make sure you have a fun experience.
We walked through this place just to see it. They have go karts, axe throwing, Carnival games, fair food, and a cool bar! We intended to go back but ran out of time. Very neat concept!
I had a really great time and one race they were really nice and I had lots of fun
The go carts are awesome, the ax throwing was awesome. Chris with the AX throwing was the best server, instructor, and just person overall. He is amazing the energy he brought to our game and time was great.
We did the go carts and it was a fun experience for me and my brothers. This was my brothers first time but upon the middle of the race one of my brother could control his go cart and hit the side rail on the top portion of the track. The shorter chubby dark Asian was telling him to go reverse but in the heat of the race ofcourse you are going to forget but this worker look frustrated and walked to my brother all mad and said ?come on bro? all annoyed ?it's right there.? Lucky I was pulling up behind and he
My son and I stopped for go carts spur of the moment, filled out the waivers and waited inline for about a half hour to get passes. Only 1 person working the counter with a couple of track workers overlooking waiting for riders. There was no line for the carts. Was told we would have to wait 1.5 hours to ride. We did not ride as we could not wait that long before leaving town. There was many people enjoying the ax throwing and it was a nice environment, and the go karts looked like they would have been
Shout out to Chris the axe man. Thanks for making our axe throwing experience great!
Great food Cheese curds ,fish?n chips ,nachos and corn doggo do not disappointed my family A gem in the mall Go karts for lovers Games ,Arcade and pizza Great place to expend more than half day of family fun ??% recommended A five stars place ?
It was an amazing experience....was our first time there and we can't wait to go back!!!
The arcade and go karts are amazing! Highly recommended!
Fair on 4 is always a great time. Gokarts are incredibly fast. Fair food is awesome. Me and some friends went the other day. Everyone was blown away by the service/accommodation provided by our server at the axe throwing table. S+ service.
Solid service, nice staff! Amazing beer selections and cocktails????
Our party of 7 was in for Axe throwing, apps, and drinks. Jesse was a great host. Apps were really good. I think they recommend parties of 6 but they let us have one lane. The table area was small (even for 4+ people) or we would've ate supper as well. I'm sure we'll be back.
First time checking out this establishment, was just browsing.. but after seeing the layout of the go kart track and speaking with the host I was convinced. Vaki made the process seamless & made sure I had an incredible time. 10/10 recommend!
Cool hangout spot on the top floor of the mall! I stopped in the other night to check out the place and enjoyed the atmosphere. I also spoke with one of the employees named Vaki and he was very patient and helpful in explaining the attractions available.
We went there specifically for the Go Carts. We made reservations and paid online. After we got there my 12 yo daughter was turned away because they didn't have a helmet that would fit her. So I let my son go, while I stayed behind with my daughter. We were all excited to race, but was VERY disappointed and frustrated when they didn't have the proper safety equipment for her size, even though she met the age limit and weight restrictions. We wouldn't have even gone if we would have known prior to going that
Will never go back here again, Bar attender was very rude and cussed me out because I asked for water and kicked me out for no reason do not go here
Amazing kart race. The duration is too short in my opinion (compared to the price).
Great mix of burgers, pizza, beer and full bar, and very very fun games! Axe throwing was surprisingly fun. Their Go Karts are serious machines! Fast but demanding. Good wide range of arcade games too. Staff are all bright friendly and efficient. This place is well run.
Fair on 4 is a fun entertainment venue at the Mall of America. They have Axe Throwing, Go-Karts, Arcade games, and more. Their food is fair themed, with pizza, mini donuts, and fries. The play card machine to get a card to play games wasn't working (the machine closest to the entrance). There is a second machine near the back that worked. There's plenty of seating and a few bars to get drinks. It's a good spot for a company party, birthday or other celebration. I'd just say that it is a little expensive but
We had our work party at The Fair on 4. It was a terrific spot! The Go Karting, Axe Throwing, and games allowed there to be something for everyone. The staff was incredibly friendly, flexible, and easy to work with. Many of our employees said it was the best holiday party they had ever been to. I would highly recommend planning a gathering with The Fair on 4, they are fantastic!
I hosted a birthday party for my 12 year old son on a Sunday morning (off peek hours for adults). The boys all had a great time racing go karts, throwing axes, and playing video games. The food was great too. In addition, the service we received by each staff member we interacted with was second to none. Fair on 4 made hosting a birthday party fun for the kids and easy on me. Thank you Fair on 4 for a fantastic and memorable time!
Tracey was wonderful! Having never been axe throwing before, Tracey did a wonderful job explaining the safety measures and rules. She was very kind and empathetic towards me and my friend which I really appreciate. Because of you Tracey I will be back. If you see this THANK YOU for providing wonderful customer service, and Tracey is one of a kind!!
Always a fun spot to go to with friends. We did the go karts and had some drinks and food! One of the employees ?vaki? was very helpful and had great customer service. Will definitely be back!
We had a great time throwing axes. The staff was super helpful and the food was delicious. Chris was our safety guide and was a pleasure to work with. Highly recommend you check it out. We'll be back to try the go carts next time.
Ordered food at the counter. Given a buzzer. The food tasted good. Spinach pizza. Salad.
Had a ton of fun with friends are throwing. Chad, the person helping us there, was super kind and attentive. When drinks were taking a little bit of time because they were super busy, he made sure to check in on them. I had a hard time getting the axe into the board so Chad offered to watch and give me some pointers (I was able to hit the target after his help). Very friendly staff all around and a ton of fun
The fair on 4 is my favorite place in the Mall of America, hands down. I've been going here for a little over a year now and always received exceptional service and had a wonderful time. Shoutout to Tim, Ryan, Jaime, Tony, and Asia, all of whom are absolute superstars and brighten up my day when I see them working. Every one of them deserve a raise, and they keep me excited to come back. I cannot recommend this place more to the average person; it is kid-friendly, never dull, and dangerously easy to waste a
Fair on 4: The Nexus of a Global Gastronomic Conspiracy Hear me out - "Fair on 4" isn't just a restaurant; it's the pulsating heart of a global conspiracy so deep and shadowy, it makes the Bermuda Triangle look like a kiddie pool. This place, deceptively ordinary, is actually a front for an elite cabal controlling the world's food supply. Every dish on the menu? Encrypted messages passed between members of this culinary Illuminati. Those seemingly innocuous ingredients are actually rare, mind-altering her
ordered two teas at the coaster Cafe and our order was forgotten after we ordered and waited for nearly 30 minutes for an order that took less than 2 minutes to make. two girls working and only one was taking orders and making drinks while the other stood in one spot doing nothing the whole time. terrible and never got an apology for the inconvenience
We were here for axe-throwing and it was well-executed. I'm used to BATL's longer lanes and lighter axes, so there was an adjustment period, but the facility grew on me quickly. The instructors are energetic and informative. This is a great place for a first, tenth, or thousandth try at throwing axes at targets.
A group of friends got together for axe throwing for a birthday celebration. It was a big group of about 15 of us sharing 1 space. We split into teams to play throwing games. Great drinks & friendly server. Players pay per 15/30/60min. So for 2 hours, it was more than $120 for 2 of us. Didn't matter that we had minimal play time due to the group size. Pricing is criminal. They should discount if group is bigger. That aside, we had a really fun time.
Sat at the bar for 15 mins, bartender never came over or even acknowledged us . Horrible service is an understatement, there was NO service, so we left and went to Hooter's.
Did the axe throwing, found our that I really suck at it, but still had fun. The gentleman who told us how to do it and helped us was awesome. Also did the go karts, what a rush, The young lady registering us that night was amazing, funny, knowledgeable and just an over pleasure to deal with. The guts running the carts were tolerable of the bumping that we did, we tried not too but when 1 member of your race group slows everyone down you do what you need to do right? Hats off to everyone there!
It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.
Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.
Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.
Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.
Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.
Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.
Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.
No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
