Customer Reviews

What a great time! Everyone is so nice and helpful, the course is fun and challenging (but not overly so), and you feel like you're mini-golfing in space. And they have games and a bar! Definitely the most fun I've had mini-golfing. Can't wait to go back!

The Dusty Planet rules!!!!! The space is full of amazing art as you putt through the galactic-themed course. It has my favorite arcade game (DDR) and a claw machine with cute prizes. The bar has some cool choices of soda and beers. It is truly out of this world!!!!!!

Fantastic mini golf. Fun vibe, everyone who works there is super stoked about mini golf in general and this course in particular. A bunch of cool arcade games up front, they have alcoholic beverages (and cupholders at each hole). The holes are super unique (all custom 3D printed), cool aliens and stuff everywhere. Not like any mini golf I've golfed yet. Grade A fun, will definitely be back!

Dusty Planet is out of this world! The entire place feels like you've stepped onto an alien desert landscape?in the best way possible. The atmosphere is immersive and beautifully designed, with rich details and a vibe that's both futuristic and nostalgic. Whether you're here for the art, the experience, or just a great photo op, Dusty Planet delivers. A must-visit gem in Providence!

Wonderful mini golf establishment that brought me back to childhood. My grandparents smiled down upon me as my prowess ebbed and flowed. The detail work is exemplary of the creative power and precision of 3D Printing. The twist and turns of the course both literal and metaphorical tell a story as transcendent as the experience one would imagine of being taken for an interstellar overdrive into the heart of the Sun.

Fun little spot for mini golf, they have some snacks and drinks. Well worth a stop for a quick game or two!

We had a great time at this new spot! You can get through the course in about 25 minutes. We played a second game for just 4 more dollars per person. I will definitely bring out of towners here when they visit!

The staff was very passionate, helpful, and encouraging! A very fun atmosphere. Aliens everywhere! A unique and fun course. A great way to spend an afternoon with friends, good for adults and families both! Good drink selection, and affordable.

As someone who has never felt drawn to golf, mini or otherwise, I had a great time learning at this place! The space: entertaining extraterrestrial environment and ephemera! Considerate details like cupholders and places to sit are interspersed throughout this small, interior course. The staff: so warm, friendly, and attentive. Shout outs to Evan at the desk and Doug who explained everything to us. To the staff member whose name I didn't get: thank you for materializing with extra balls right when ours go

Such a fun course. Staff is very friendly. I love all the little DIY accents around all the holes (alien heads in the railings, etc). Cannot recommend enough.

Great vibes! Love the art. Cannot wait to go back ??????

So much fun. Great spot! Super nice owners.

Super cool mini golf course! Very new and well designed! Fun people here too!

Such a fun and creative spot! Every course was hand made and really unique. And everyone that works there is so nice. Definitely go!

An incredibly fun new spot! Mini golf, cows, spaceships and pinball games! They also sell beer and wine! So much fun!!!

Frequently Asked Questions

What’s it like visiting an arcade today?

It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.

Is it better to go alone or with friends?

Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.

What should I bring to an arcade?

Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.

What’s the best time to visit an arcade?

Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.

Can I meet new people at arcades?

Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.

Are arcades still just for kids?

Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.

Are there events or tournaments I can join?

Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.

What if I’m not great at arcade games?

No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”

Are pinball tables still good in this modern age?

Yes, pinball tables in arcades remain a blast. Their hands-on, skill-driven gameplay delivers a thrill digital games can’t match, blending nostalgia with modern flair. Newer tables from Stern and Jersey Jack feature LCD screens and themes like Avengers or Stranger Things, keeping things exciting. Arcades are seeing a pinball resurgence with vibrant scenes and tournaments like IFPA events drawing crowds. Though less common than video games, pinball’s tactile charm and community vibe make it a standout arcade experience in 2025.
