We heard great things about this spot from a few different people and we decided to try it out. Safe to say this spot was great! The steak sandwich was delicious and the shrimp and mozzarella sticks were great also. Definitely a great spot for chill bar vibes and a great spot on Marco!

This place is pretty darn good for no table service. You walk in, place your order at the bar, find a seat and they call your name when food is ready. Prices are really reasonable. Wings are better than the Anchor Bar in Buffalo! Flamed broiled steaks and other yumminess! Staff are friendly and always hustling.

I get the "bar food" experience, but this was by far THE WORST food I've ever eaten anywhere. The "famous" steak was such a bad, gristle-y cut of meat, not only was I unable to chew it, I couldn't cut it with a knife. The place was not clean. There's no service. You belly up to the counter and then retrieve your food when they call your name. Everything in plastic. A gross dining experience.

It is a low key restaurant that has later hours than most in the area. That being said it is a more or less serve yourself (which is completely fine) but I'm not sure why I'm being charged 18% gratuity for that. Pasta wasn't fully cooked. Wings were decent

This pub is in a plaza but when you walk in the door the beach vibe pops out? cute little laid back good time. I like to swing by here and play pool ( 1 table) but its a friendly place, you can always jump in on a game and the tables good.

Found this place on Friday and liked it so much we were back on Saturday. Great little place for cold beer and great bar food. No wait staff, order drinks and food at the bar but great service. Beer is cold and wings are fantastic.

Had to order at counter with snarky girl. Had to pick food up when it was ready. Food was terrible. The mahi-mahi was very tough and overcooked. I had a mahi-mahi sandwich and fries. The total of my order came to $25 and change for food, I had to order at a counter and then pick up when it was ready. I sit at an outside table to eat the owner came out three times in an attempt to rush me off. our total meal was $75 which I felt paid for my table use. Excellent place to get a burger! The meat was excellent! The waitress recommend having it with garlic toast which was awesome! I did check in on yelp for a free drink which she forgot to take off of my bill. The garlic toast also costs extra which was not mentioned. It was still good but a heads up would have been nice. My husband had the seafood marinara which he seemed to enjoy but we both agreed the burger was the best dish of the 2.

I've come here before multiple times to play pool and get some wings with friends and family, so when I decided to eat here with my girlfriend and our siblings I expected everything to go good; as normal. Once a week there is a gentleman by the name of Joe who it seems has been recently singing here. Had a blast wonderful music choices and great people. Joe is a great addition to this location and you can see that the people love him. Also I wanted to say a good shout out to the key lime pie there! So tart and yummy and yes it tastes exactly like lime. I don't like lime pie but this here I will definitely eat again. When they say ?bar? remember it is in the oyster sense. Adult beverages limited to beer and wine ONLY. All self-service but prices reflect this. Food is delicious and consistent over the years. Live music adds to the island ambiance. They have a children?s menu and outdoor seating. Inside there are seats and pool tables, for a more adult atmosphere. Solid value!

We just had drinks and they did not have any jagermeister so I can't really say this is a dive bar but everything else is cool.

The burgers are always delicious and you can't beat the prices for the domestics on tap. Always enjoy coming here and have never had a bad experience. If you're looking for a great place for a delicious burger and beer with a friendly, laid back atmosphere, the Crazy Flamingo is the place to go.

I stopped in here with my family for a quick bite to eat and was so happy with the food! You order at the bar so it is a no frills type of place. Their burgers and steak sandwiches were delicious and the servers friendly. It was also extremely inexpensive ($8.99 for my hamburger and fries). I recommend this place.

Used to go to this restaurant when I was a kid, has gone way down since. Food was extremely expensive, and the lady at the counter did not give me the correct change. Extremely disappointed.

I grew up coming here. My family lives on the island. I went to get oysters and I watched the server shuck them, one fell in the trash, and she picked it up out of the trash and put it right on the shell and tried to serve it to my party. ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING!! Never in my life have I ever witnessed something so foul!! I will NEVER come back as long as that bartender is working. I do not recommend

What a great place! No waiters or waitresses, but that makes for faster service because they have it all handled from the bar in great time!! The grouper sandwich was one of the best I've had and the peel and eat shrimp was seasoned to perfection! Cold beers rounded off a great dining experience!

We went there for the oysters and to be honest they were good; fresh and decent sized with a nice flavor and less expensive than the ones at Snook Inn bar ($18 vs. $25 a dozen). Same for the Peel 'n eat shrimps (order x weight). The bucket of beers was also a convenient option (5 x $15) and they had a good variety of domestics and imported ones. Nice atmosphere.service was great I wasn't happy with the Shrimps they were frozen shrimp I was expecting freash shrimp since we were near the Ocean the ( gulf ) but a nice place to hang out.

This last time, the service was slow and inattentive. The music was too loud, and there was noise from people talking loudly. The food was a bit average; the fish was over-fried.

The fries were Delicious & service was Nice!! But my husband ordered a Grouper sandwich and he took one bite and immediately spit it out ?? This is a location where you can choose your own seating, but they have no servers so you have to order your food/drinks at the bar and pick it up from the bar. Also, if you're safely trying to dine make sure you have all of your necessary essentials.

Wife and I decided to try them again after last year not staying. First impressions last year with family and a toddler was not a good place to eat. Definitely bar atmosphere. More adult oriented or older kids. I was in a mood for a good hamburger but didn't want fast food or a $20 burger. Thus hit both things. Juicy, great tasting burger. Cooked perfect. Set up having to order and pick up food at bar different from what we are use to. 12.99 burger with fries perfect for lunch.

We started with a nice, spicy conch chowder, my wife had a salad with blackened mahi, I had the very large blackened mahi sandwich, very good. Active bar atmosphere, you order at the bar which if fine and grab your food when called.

Food was good. But, the charged me extra for a bread I didn't ask. And automatically added the gratuity. Which in my opinion is for when you are served. They Didn't serve us. Great food, friendly staff, fun atmosphere! And soda refills are free. They even have a soda gun on the customer side of the bar.

I've been eating the bald eagle wings for 25 years since the airport location. Since having moved in 2005 and returning a year ago, One of the things I can most respect is the bald eagles haven't deviated or changed one bit since the original owner made them. I know the bald eagles like nobody else. I probably have eaten them 100 times prior to moving. They're both pain and pleasure wrapped up into a wing. Me and my family came to the Crazy Flamingo after enjoying a wave runner tour. The food was incredible and the garlic bread did not disappoint! There was a great feel-good atmosphere and the staff were so friendly. If you are ever in Marco Island, I highly recommend!

I moved from NE to FL and i have been searching for good wings and i found them! I loved the wings here. I was able to get all flats and crispy upon request. The garlic bread everyone rants and raves about was not has exciting as I imagined. Food was great, will return. Keep in mind when visiting it is completely self serve, you do not have a waitress. You seat yourself and order at the bar. Service was still prompt and they had a good organizational method to make sure everyone got their food.

I don't like giving bad rating cause I'm not a Karen but If I could rate this place 0 stars I would! Food was so mediocre not worth the money. The fact you have to order inside and then pick it up yourself and they still add gratuity and ask for tip on top of that and a swipe your card before getting food for a hold of $15 or more and you don't get that back til days later on top of the price of your meal and everything. I regret going here. Fish was so DRY! Least favorite place in Marco. Don't go here!

Hamburger was literally cold my. Fish never came at all. The bald guy behind the counter was super rude from the second we walked in the door. I would not recommend this place to anyone. And I never gave any restaurant a bad review in my life. My recommendation is stick to Naples where the food is good and the service is not horrible. 2 thumbs down

We had to get our own menu, seat ourselves, get our own drink and food when it was ready. Got refills ourselves and paid at the bar. ZERO service therefore - NO TIP The shrimp and fries were from a bag - as in Costco. Don't go there

The menu shows parties of 8 or more 18% gratuity charged. We were charged 18% gratuity anyway for a party of 4. Maybe we got an old menu. You seat yourself, order at the bar and pick up at the bar, which is fine but not when you are charged 18% gratuity, automatically. I would give some gratuity, but not 18%. We basically paid 16+ dollars to order and pick up food at the bar.

They have an interesting system of having the customer grab their own menus, seat themselves, and then go up to the bar to order. That's fine, they have signs going over this at the entrance but don't think I would?ve gone had I known. Their menu is lackluster. It's all fried food and over priced. We were hungry so decided to order anyways, and again you order at the bar with the super unpleasant bar tender. Ordered food, the bartender yelled our name to come grab the food from the bar and boy am I surprise

Crazy has always had the best burgers around hands down. They have went to a convenience store pub burgers. Bad bad bad I hope they go back to to original hand patty burgers with garlic buns otherwise not going to last. So sorry to put this out but please listen

I check reviews and by doing so it has led me back to the Crazy Flamingo twice. I will say the atmosphere is fun inside and the bartenders were very friendly and made us feel very welcome. That actually might be almost enough to make me come back. The food was disappointing though. I had a burger, I'm not sure what my son and husband had but they weren't fans either. If this place had a full liquor license we'd probably come back for some cocktails and maybe try some other quick bites with our drinks bec

Good food at a great price. Casual and comfortable. Wings, oysters, fries and 2.00 domestic beer were great. The entire family liked it. Bar tenders very pleasant and friendly (Adrian and Tyler I think). For anybody complaining about table service from server- it is marked on menu, signs and even their advertisements. We had no issues with getting food and drinks fast. Will definitely be coming back to try more.

This lovely place is tucked away and we almost missed it. The Shrimp and Coconut Shrimp baskets were wonderful! There is no waitstaff, you order and pick up at the counter. The staff were pleasant and helpful. I would eat here again!

Worst appetizers ever. Conch fritters were burnt on the outside yet uncooked on the inside. Deep fried ravioli never hit a fryer-I'd bet they were dumped out of a freezer bag and nuked in the microwave. If I could rate food less than zero I would.

It's a hopping bar with a good amount of laughter. No real service for food, but the prices were some of the best on Marco, and it wasn't bad either. I don't drink, but the bar seemed really popular.

Marco appeals to multiple demographics, I had a meal at the JW today, and tonight?s ?vibe? is what you want to really experience true Marco Island the way it has been for 35 years. Just great food no matter what you order. We stayed two weeks on Marco and this became our go to spot. Reasonable prices, good portions, and delicious food. The burger is the best! Half pound burger. Definitely get it on garlic bread. The conch chowder is really good and very spicy. Oh, and the hot wings! Great portion of fat wings.

Tickled pink by the food, service & fun I had at the Crazy Flamingo ?? on Marco Island, FL. I ordered a medium rare Burger with Blue Cheese & Bacon. It's served on their Legendary Garlic Bread & includes additional fixins? of Lettuce, Tomato & Onion which made this burger foot raisin? Yummy!!! It was juicy, flavorful & filling. Hot fries on the side and a cold coke made this a meal to remember. The staff Rob, Eddie & Julie all made time to say hello and I met Brian and a few other friendly local residents

Fried grouper tasted like frozen Gordons fisherman fishsticks at best and the conch fritters were practically inedible. They were just overcooked balls of mushy yellow breading with minced size pieces of tough rubbery conch. 1 out of 10, do not recommend!

It was a little packed, due to us being a large group so we found a place outside to sit which we needed two tables put together that wasn't an issue at all. Service was great, Friendly and smiling. We went to the Crazy Flamingo mid week of our trip. This place was amazing! Great food and amazing staff! I went with a party of ten. We had to order at the bar but it was still the best place we have ate at so far including lunch and dinner places. We changed our order to what they recommended and it was well well worth it. I would recommend this place to everyone that wants to eat great food at a third of the price as every other restaurant we went to thus far.

Four years ago I gave them 3 stars, this year I am giving them 5. Love the burgers, love the beer and the atmosphere. Great place and reasonable! As of Aug 2022 still a great place without the Collier tourist centered pricing. Local joint, what several re-done places USED TO BE.

Very disappointed, if not for a good beer I would have really been upset. Not 1 vegetable is served here aside from a salad. Rice and beans seems to be there veggie. Food is ok but not great. Everything is fried or raw and speaking of raw, they are out of oysters. Friendly bartender was a plus , good conch soup but the crackers were stale ! 3 of my wings were pink near the bone. And the spicy shrimp on rice is shrimp drowned in Buffalo sauce on rice , not the best just ok.

The food was amazing. The chicken wings were some of the best I've ever had. The flavor was perfect, and the heat was exactly where I wanted it. The seafood was also delicious and l the price was not bad either. Best place we've been on the island so far.

I love the food...the steamers and wings are outstanding. The atmosphere is dark and pubby with a beach vibe. You order at bar but the bartenders are outstanding at managing the service.

Me and a friend ordered a couple sandwiches and at the end when he asked for the bill, there was a 7.49 Gratuity on the receipt. They should NEVER put a tip on an order before someone pays. I am a good tipper, I would have tipped the guy more than that amount. But I do not appreciate a tip taken out of my card without asking me. I hope that changes because I love Crazy Flamingos.

Fun, quirky, relaxed atmosphere. No table service - order at the bar...but the hostess does a fantastic job! She answered questions and hustled around the tables! Outdoor seating as well as indoor seating available. The chef came out to see how we enjoyed our meal! Great time!
