Marylander here. Was looking for affordable drinks after going to several bars that charged 18% gratuity. Great staff and bartender. We didn't bowl, but the drinks were affordable and good. They ran out of a lot of ingredients, which was unexpected, however they made up for this mishap with different options and discounts. We also got pizza, which was good!!
Came here on St. Paddy's day. Although it was busy and service was slow, as expected bc it was packed the server was very nice. Just got drinks and an app. I was alittle disappointed our cocktails came in plastic cups for what we paid for them but again understandable due to the crowds.
Really cool place to hang out! The main dishes are alright, but the appetizers are pretty good.
There was not enough servers for the amount of people. Waited way too long for a drink, finally left. Very limited drink choice in my option. Chicken wings were good.
This place is a disaster. If you're going to come here, go straight to the bar and no where else. You probably won't get served otherwise, at least that's what we experienced. We came on a Monday afternoon, we decided to bowl, checked in and were told a server would be over shortly. We were the only two people bowling. You pay by the hour to bowl so we watched as the timer on the screen kept going down and no one came to help us. We went back to the host stand to ask if he could send someone over. We did no
Had a great time, food was perfect. Zach at the bar was hilarious while also professional and quick with service. Definitely going to return!
Went earlier today with my kids and a friend. I can proudly say I had an amazing experience. Customer service was outstanding, food was delicious with great portions! Even when we had a minor issue, it was immediately taken care of and It exceeded our expectations beyond what we hoped for. Definitely, coming back!
Everytime my husband and I visit downtown we make sure we stop in and see our favorite bartender Gee. He always gives great service, great drink options and helps us keep up with upcoming events that take place downtown. Nothing beats going somewhere for a quick bite and receiving great service that's we'd never forget. We look forward to enjoying more cocktails and eggrolls soon!
Atmosphere was great on the patio. Server was friendly. Nashville hot chicken sandwiches were great. Out of bone jn wings and chicken tenders so we ordered boneless wings which were really just average chicken nuggets. But the garlic parm sauce was great!
Stopped in for a quick drink while site seeing. Curtis was a great server!
i came here and sat at the bar on Saturday night with 2 other friends. i got a chicken sandwich, on the menu it said hot/hot sauce. i specifically asked the bartender to make it NOT HOT/NO HOT SAUCE. when it came out, it was so hot/spicy I couldn't even eat it! I only took one single bite! the bartender asked me about it and said she asked for it not to be hot, which it was. she never even offered to take it off my bill either. she all of a sudden disappeared for 25 minutes so i had to ask for my bill from
Great atmosphere, I love the buffalo wings and rolls. Great drinks and a great vibe as well. My server Janiya was super nice and attentive. 5 stars across the board. High recommend ????
The Corner Alley is a fantastic spot for anyone looking to combine great food, drinks, and entertainment. From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere is inviting, with its modern decor and friendly staff. The menu offers a diverse selection of delicious dishes, ranging from classic pub fare to more upscale options, ensuring there's something for everyone. The cocktails are expertly crafted and complement the food perfectly. Additionally, the bowling lanes and arcade games provide endless entertainment for g
Love The Corner Alley! The location, the atmosphere, the food and most importantly, the smiling face behind the bar. If you're looking for great service, grab a seat at the bar and ask for George. Not only will he pour you delicious cocktails you have never heard of but he will keep you laughing! You will definitely want to thank me later ??
We didn't order food, stopped in for a drink waiting for a table down the street on a Friday night. Full and vibrant crowd but plenty of open seating/not too crowded. Decent bar with bowling alley. Family friendly. Large draft/bar selection. Good service
The only reason why this isn't a five star is the continued issues we had with the lanes. However, I really want to commend the staff. When an issue arose, they handled it quickly and efficiently. Further, they gave back time on the bowling if an issue arose because of the system. They truly went and made a moment into a fun experience. A true shoutout to our server Whitney. There needs to be loads more people like Whitney. When I was having some food issues Whitney's first concern was trying to discern whe
Food was great, staff even better Games were all out of service, brought our kid with us getting her excited to play games. Apparently their card dispenser machine was out of order with no timeline for repair. Otherwise enjoyed going
I rarely leave negative reviews?everyone has an off day. But this experience warranted it. I visited recently to evaluate the place as a potential spot to bring out-of-town guests. Unfortunately, we were assigned a server in training who made a costly error with our order. Rather than taking responsibility, management repeatedly attempted to charge us for the mistake. We went back and forth with four different staff members before the manager finally stepped in?only to say, ?There's nothing we can do. You h
When I asked to be checked out, our bartender gave me a charge slip with no itemized bill. The tab seemed high. Our bartender never came around despite us trying to get his attention. Had to ask another bartender for it. Got the bill there were charges that we're not ours. This other bartender and manager made our bill correct without hassle and we appreciate it. While I understand things like this can happen, same thing happened with the couple sitting next to us. Just saying, Be sure to check your itemize
Great food, came out hot and was a good portion. There were some really good options for wing flavors (I got buffalo) and they tasted amazing. The fries are also incredible, and you can't go there without trying them. Overall a great experience and nice venue!
We had an amazing time the food was great the service was even better!. She was johnny on the spot! We even went back the next day and gave her another tip because they was so busy and she made sure we had an amazing night!!. I think her name was Patty!.
Nikki was our server and she was amazing! Not only is she a great server but she is hilarious. Make sure you sit in her section you won't regret it!
Awesome food! The Donny's nacho fries were incredible
Rodney is such a great server , I needed help with recommendations with food and drinks . He told me the cherry limade and the peach mango down east cider were amazing . He's fast and always with a great smile I simply recommend coming here :)
Came in from Atlanta on a layover very first time in Cleveland, Ohio and the corner alley was not our first stop. We actually try to go to Creole place The online said it closed at 11 we got there at 10. The bartender told us they were closed basically so we left and we ended up at the place. We were supposed to be corner alley. I doubted when I walked in, but when we sat down our server Jonathan came immediately. He's very enthused. He knows the menu we asked for suggestions and he did not disappoint. I go
Very UNFRIENDLY bar service. Quiet, easy, bare bar while I'm sitting here. I went ignored for a significant amount of time. A curly haired bartender started looking over her tabs RIGHT in front of me. Not a "Hi" or "I'll be right with you" or "gimme a minute, ill be right with you" Just completed ignored until I said something about sitting for so long. I could understand being busy, running your ass off.. But not the case. Angry, unhappy, servers. No bar customer service.
My boyfriend and I recently came in for a quick bite to eat. Service was absolutely amazing. Abbey ensured we had everything we needed and continued to check in on us without hovering.
The Corner Alley is a fun, family friendly place to spend a rainy spring afternoon-or any afternoon. The staff is accommodating. The service is prompt. The nachos were tasty. During week days, rent an alley for $25/hr.
Janiya did awesome job running things?everything was smooth, and the support was top-notch. You can tell a lot of care goes into it. Highly recommend checking it out!
Not from Cleveland. Happened to stop here for a quick bite and to watch some March Madness. Servings were plentiful and Nikki and Bree did a fabulous job taking care of us. Definitely go back there, next time we are in Cleveland.
It took 15 minutes to be greeted once we sat down. An additional 15 minutes to get a beverage. We were warned of a long wait (which took roughly 1-1/2 hours to receive all of our food.) Scores of people leaving and the dirt dishes remained on their tables for the entire time we were there. Extremely expensive for such a horrible experience. Management reached out with their condolences and provided insight on the situation at the restaurant the day of my visit. They did so in a professional manner. With ev
I LOVE THE CORNER ALLEY, The only reason I gave him ONE STAR is because on St. Patrick?s Day, 2025, they decided to charge $100 per hour to bowl. In the past on St. Patrick?s Day, it has never went over $50, this is from experience. I love you corner Alley but do not try to rob us because it's St. Patrick?s Day. That's why you had no bowlers prior to the parade when in my experience I used to bowl before AND after the parade and spend at least $300 to $400.
I would not recommend the Corner Alley for any group event. Our group spent over $300 that night on bowling and food. Before arriving I was told that they would validate parking across the street at a parking garage but this was not the case. Very disorganized and lack of communication amongst their staff cost our group $90. I called and explained the situation but they were unwilling to help. We will not be returning.
The Corner Alley is really a bar with a bowling alley rather than a place for serious bowlers. It's a great venue for large parties as they have the capacity for catering food for buffet style dining. The bar area is beautiful and modern, but the only drawback is the constant noise from bowling balls crashing into bowling pins. Bowling equipment rental is available for a nominal fee and there are many interesting old arcade machines around while you wait for your turn to bowl. Overall, the place just sc
We go here for the Buffalo Chicken egg rolls. They're served perfectly crispy with plenty of blue cheese crumbled inside. Service is usually prompt. Decent crowd there bowling on a mid Saturday afternoon.
Should be a nice sports bar on E 4th street...but failed to deliver. Went on a Sunday evening to watch some Sunday Night Football but for some reason they were not able to show NBC so I had to watch on my phone. The food was decent. Big selection of beers, though the first 2 I ordered were out. Service was ok. There is a bowling alley in the back which I did not try. Cool spot...but some misses from a sports bar perspective.
The food was decent, kind of on the pricey side. They do not carry Budweiser products. The service was slow while we were there. Hamburgers come either well done or medium-well. Bathrooms are downstairs from the bowling alley. The menu does not have much to choose from as far as variety is concerned. The menu is on your phone from a Q-square.
We stayed across the street in a hotel and were pleased to see this place. If you like bowling and having a few drinks in a cool atmosphere loaded with TVs and friendly people be sure to stop in and play. They charge by the hour-which I think is fantastic-and are quite reasonable. The food and drink prices were also very reasonable. Cool place!
Nicki was wonderful! She was so pleasant and welcoming. She was also very attentive to my tea needs and made that a great experience with the options She offered. Thanks Nickii
The staff was extremely friendly. They have a huge bar and dining area in the front. The bowling alley is in the back with several arcade games. Great time for friends or family. Highly recommend ?? ????
Best thing about this place is the atmosphere. It's a bowling alley inside and has patio seating with cool views of the surrounding area. Food was not good. We ordered spring rolls that seemed like they were from the frozen food aisle, I ordered a salad and it came out lukewarm. Condiments were provided in plastic solo cups with lids. Service was also lacking. We arrived to a team of hosts talking amongst themselves, one of them was playing a Rubik's cube, we had to address them twice to be seated. Waitress
Atmosphere was cool but Service was terrible. We were thankful there are food runners to bring our food, we barely saw our waitress and had to go to the bar to simply fill our water glasses. She messed our order up and we had to hunt her down to pay, which we couldn't find her (this was after not seeing her for 20 mins). Another nice young kid that worked there was able to check us out.
Great bartender here today. I love the Corner Alley and stop here often when I am downtown. Bar, food bowling and pinball. What more can you want? I didn't eat this time around, but the beer was cold and the Woodford was smooth!
Janiya is the best server they have there customer service is amazing my only complaint is they should unfilter the music so for other people to enjoy it other wise this is really a wonderful play to have fun or take your kids
Nickii was on it! She's a doll and I would request her next time we come back. She took care of our group and I would 10/10 recommend.
Janiya, was amazing?I loved the service and how everything was handled. Super friendly and reliable. Definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a solid experience!
Fun place in Downtown Cleveland! Got the club sandwich and it had some great bacon! Filled me up! And there's bowling!
Sat at the half empty bar with 3 friends for 15 minutes while multiple employees walked by. Never once did anyone ask what we wanted. Apparently what we wanted was to get up and leave. Will never go back.
I love this place, but I'm disappointed they started using straws. Plastic straws are so unnecessary/replaceable and I appreciated them not using straws. If they had compostable straws I wouldn't have an issue. The food and atmosphere are great, the service is slow sometimes but not unbearable in my experience
George is one of the best bartenders I've ever experienced. He's the main reason why I make it my business to stop by when I'm in the area.
Janiya was a great server and very nice, there were 11 of us and made sure we had what we needed.
Trying to initially get in was a little messy because of people trying to bring outside alcohol into the bar, but once we got our shoes and socks, we had a great time. The most important criticism is the condition of their rental bowling shoes and the floor in the actual bowling areas. There's no glide on the shoes, which could cause injury. We are a family of bowlers, so it was easy for us to adjust, but we can see where problems could occur. The lanes needed oiled as well, but overall, it was a fantastic
Corner Alley is amazing! If you're looking for a nice place to get a drink on 4th st, it's for you. Want some great food from a full kitchen? Perfect. Want some clean, well maintained lanes? You're looking at it. I went with a few friends on a Sunday morning and the staff was friendly, professional and ready to help is have a great time. I highly recommend it for families, friends and soon to be friends. If you're in downtown Cleveland, go!
Meka the manager was great! She creates a great atmosphere around the place when she's there. Great place to hangout with friends or by yourself.
Nikki and all of the other staff were so great and helpful! We had such a nice family afternoon. Also, the wings were super.
Janiya was an excellent server and I would recommend this place to everyone I know and I literally have. Janiya?s customer service was excellent and I will be back soon.
The Corner Alley is a fun place to spend time with family and friends! We decided to try the bowling and the lanes were great. The server came by frequently to check on us and to take our drink and food orders. We had the 4 piece chicken tenders. They were really big and the breading is fairly light. The chicken was moist! Our drinks were excellent. I had a strawberry mimosa that was quite refreshing. All in all, it was a great place to spend our evening!
I visited the corner alley downtown for a quick drink and George was amazing ! Quick, personable, and made me think about coming back for a few to celebrate my birthday this weekend.
I attended the Corner Alley because of a Bar Crawl. I would definitely come back to actually experience the entire establishment.
We come for food, drinks and bowling quite often. Janiya is the best server and we regularly request her
Pretty awesome bowling alley in a building in the Playhouse Square area of downtown. Upstairs bar with food, 8 to 10 lanes of bowling alley, and a nice game and party room below. Highly recommended if you're in the area and have an hour to kill. Also, all the house balls look like pool balls. A nice touch :-)
Janiya, our server, was elite!! We had a large party and she was able to meet our many needs!
Amazing service and a great experience for my family Janiya was the best always ask for her promise you won't be disappointed with your service
We didn't get any food but the service was great and entertaining.
Chewy was awesome. Great, friendly service. I hope he wins the contest. He deserves it.
Our server Janiya had excellent service as well as attitude. Absolutely will come back!!
A surprisingly good menu of entrees that were prepared well. Good service for a weekday...after 12:30 pm. All food came out at the same time for a party of 14. Now, that is good service!
Had a server named janiya 5+ stars.drinks and food ?? was delicious great place to visit
Chewy was incredible, very friendly and very social which I appreciate with service. Definitely would recommend!
We had a great time at lunch today! Nickii is a fantastic server who made our experience better.
We had a few hours to burn before a concert and this place was great! We ate a few apps and bowled. Bowling was a blast. Overall clean and fun environment. ??
Loved it!!! Janiya was awesome!!! Had a wonderful experience at this place!!! Will definitely be back soon!!! Ask for janiya!!!
Pro: good location, solid food and decent drink prices. Cons: limited menu,
Janiya was an amazing server, we had a large party of 16 and she didn't skip a beat.
Service stinks. I'm not talking gameday and Saturday night, I'm talking 7 people total on a Tuesday at the bar. Just sitting 15-20 minutes for someone to acknowledge
We came bowling for an hour and dessert. The services and servers were amazing! This is the ONLY bowling facility around Cleveland that is ADA! We loved every second of our time there! We recommend this place for bowling and servers who work well with the handicap community.
It's a really fun place, Service was great, we had the Porky nachos, very good
I'll go 5-stars on the Corner Alley, why not. Great location, a nice craft beer selection, and decent comfort food inside a cool ... bowling alley! Lots of fun at the corner of E. 4th Street. Check it out for yourself; you'll be glad you did.
Fantastic bar and beautiful property but we played an arcade game there and won 3 prizes that were stuck in the dropper of the machine, we asked for help from 3 different employees and received no help. Great place but not very helpful after spending 30$ on their arcade games.
We had an awesome time here after realizing another place we wanted to visit was closed. The idea of a bowling alley / restaurant is awesome! We had some great food and even better service when an issue arised with our order. Our server quickly fixed it and apologized too. I couldn't catch her name, but she was very kind and provided awesome service! Bowling for $15 a person was awesome too, play as many rounds as you want within an hour, how can you go wrong? Highly recommended!
Niyah, was great all smiles everytime I see her, she took great care of me and made sure my order was enjoyable and she was very bright !! -kay
Chewy was very attentive and nice :):) made for a great experience. He made me laugh.
Nikki was excellent serving us with a table full of crazy kids. They loved their food!
Vibe was noisy and staff was unpleasant. Not very clean and pool table was trash. No lights and is sitting in the basement like at your grandma's house. #Trash
Everything was great! Janiya is awesome. I will be back and hopefully Janiya is working!!!
Fun place great games to play pinball and bowling took most of the time they drinks were ok
Jania was amazing and was able to handle the large table we had. Love her!
Corner Alley has great food and a very cool atmosphere. I haven't always had the best service unfortunately. There's a good beer selection and the bowling is awesome for a party or date night! The loaded fries were delicious and the portions are huge. It's a great spot on East 4th if you're looking for something casual!
It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.
Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.
Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.
Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.
Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.
Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.
Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.
No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
