Love coming here to get Pokemon cards, they always have great prices! They're also very speedy when it comes to trade-ins. Would recommend. I seem to always have good luck on pulls when I'm here! ??

It's a nice little game store that I gladly recommend. However, it would be nice to have a larger selection of retro games.

My daughter had the best time here for her 16th birthday. Her friends want to go back and do just the karaoke lounge. My son loved the virtual reality games. We will be back!

This place was everything that I needed it to be and more. I had my son's 10th birthday party there and the staff was amazing. In a world where good customer service is almost nonexistent, Matthew was a welcomed change. Matthew was knowledgeable, patient, and accommodating. There was plenty of games to entertain each child without too much of a wait. My son's favorite was the VR. I would definitely recommend this place.

Truly a great place to do business with. We flew down to Tampa for tcg con and got pretty much all of my cards from their booth. Incredibly honest and genuine people. Thank you for making my bachelor party worth the trip! Halim and river were great to buy from. Highly recommend checking them out!

Great place with lots of different activities. Consoles, board games and even VR. Owners are incredibly nice and host some of the best gaming events I've been a part of. A must visit in the Albany area for anyone with nerdy hobbies.

We absolutely love it here. The manager Mat is very knowledgeable and very kind and answers all questions we have. Cannot recommend enough!

This place is always pretty chill and cool whenever I come by. Anyone who likes anime, magic, figures and what nots should stop by even if it's just to look around. Also they have a really cool karaoke booth which is a bonus because we don't have very many things to do in Albany so check it out.

I played my first FNM in over a year here and really enjoyed it. Very nice and spacious store with plenty of options for non card game enjoyers. All of the players were very welcoming. The shop worker, Monk, was very nice and helpful too.

The staff is always super polite, the atmosphere is very comfortable and family-friendly, and there's tons of choices for how to spend your time and money. Good stock of board games, trading cards, and the karaoke pod is pretty sweet too.

So I honestly was wrong I was having a rough day and was a little aggravated and I was slightly snappy towards staff because I couldn't get my Groupon to act right. But once it did they so helpful you guys they acted like I was just an angel the whole time. River even took time out to explain the trigger controls to me and my son. It was a 10 out of 10 I will always come visit when I'm home. Thank you guys and I'm so sorry especially River. Y?all are amazing. Top tier !!!

the name is just as it is business title... a cool place. it's got games you can play for a very generous fee. they have 4 vr pads you can play on with friends or individually and have dnd and board games for all ages

My child had a great experience! She loved the Oculus Rift virtual reality games! They forgot to give us a 25% discount given on Thursdays, so the staff gifted my daughter a Dip n Dots treat! She demolished while watching Guitar Hero!

Man, if you're in the Albany/Lee area, you have got to come check this place out. It's like an adult arcade with VR, Arcade Games, and KARAOKE!!! I just tried out the karaoke studio with my crew of four, and I've got to say this was hands down the coolest karaoke experience I've had. Really great sound quality, awesome sound proofed studio, and beers @ half off! Come check it out!

I'm late in writing my review but felt I needed to. The owner AND his wife were both always very pleasant and helpful with my son when I would take him for monthly VR game time. This place was recommended to me by my child?s therapist to help in his social skills (autistic /ASD). They have any board game, card game, and beyond.

Absolutely amazing place. The Virtual Reality (VR) games are beyond my wildest expectations. The owners spent time getting my family and I set up and explained the benefits of each game. The cool spot is a amazing place to make new friends and have fun. If you are a table top, video game, or card game enthusiast, than this is the place for you! I visited my second time and the managment and locals there were awesome. I will be returning very soon.

We had our 9 year olds birthday party here. It was great! The workers made sure that the kids all were set up and everything was working, even as they moved stations frequently. It was a great experience.

I went here for a Warhammer 40,000 Tournament. The space is very large, and you have a lot of room around the tables and gaming areas. They serve alcohol (beer/hard cider) at a small bar and have a pretty broad selection. Although I didn't use it, their VR and projector gaming areas were large and well equipped. The miniature gaming tables were a comfortable height, had a good amount of terrain stored underneath, and some had cup holders, which was helpful for the previously mentioned beer. All in all, good

Met Halim and River for the first time at TCG Con in Tampa. They are both great people, very knowledgeable about the industry, and had impressive products. Their prices were the best in the convention. Hope to see them again soon at another convention, but will definitely be dealing with them online for future purchases.

The Cool Place is one of the best, if not the best, gaming stores I've ever been to, mostly due to the customer service alone, but also it's a lot of fun! You can hop on the VR machine and play some really immersive and fun games, or you can play one of the games they have set up such as Mortal Kombat 11 or Street Fighter V, and you can get great and rare games there for an incredibly decent price! I will never attend an event here again. After winning an event at this complete joke of a business, i recieved 28 dollars prize payout for an event i payed 20 dollars to attend. When i asked if we could at least call it an even thirty, the wife of the owner for cheap with me and started muttering about the electricity it had cost them to open the store early. After helping to run events for literally years, sacrificing my time, donating my terrain supplies and helping to help fill seats for their warhammer

Hands down the best place to hang out for those who are interested in board games, card game, video game, or experiencing VR. The Cool Place has friendly and knowledgeable staff as well plenty of room to sit down and relax, play some game or just watch the big screen.

Great place to gather and game. Update: dropped to 3 stars. The gaming we do has been marginalized in favor of other activities, even though we don't impact them at all. We all were charged for table space, even though we actually didn't game that night.

Upon entering the Cool Place..I sense a bit of nostalgia..I want to root for this place and for it to bring business back into the Albany Mall! For Gamers it's a dream..card games, board games, VR games and of course video games. What would send it over the top however is Imo for us Old school gamers to bring back more arcade style games! I don't mind having game systems there..but most gamers have systems..not all of us have Arcade systems..that's the missing ingredient imo! But definitely a nice spot.

Probably a great place for someone to hang out & play games but not if you are looking to buy something. Almost impossible to get assistance & then you are referred to a computer for cards. Dont waste your time going there to look at their cards just find a place online like ebay.

The owner refused to give back due change to a customer. Simply refused to give change even when asked. The owner also uses dci numbers to fluff his prize support and tournament numbers. This is stealing. I would not recommend this place
