My daughter and I had dinner at Shin Sen Gumi. Then, we went to Miss Donuts and noticed this new shop, The Clawcade. We went in and purchased a $50 package, which gives you 60 tokens and a free plush. Each game only cost 1 token to play. The smaller machines give you 2 plays per token. The owners are very welcoming and friendly. They said they just opened Friday, 4/26. The claws are so much better than other arcades as we probably only used 1/3 of our tokens, and my daughter and I walked out with a handful
We love this place! We have more stuffed animals than we know what to do with but we make some great family memories here and the owner is always so kind and encouraging. A little gem of a place for kids both big and small.
I noticed The Clawcade after a recent Yelp search for ?fun things for kids? near me. Soon after, my wife sent me an article from the Daily Breeze about the business. I decided we had to check it out as soon as possible. My 8-year-old son and I had a ?Bro Day,? as he likes to call them, because Mommy had other plans. I figured it was a perfect time, so we checked it out earlier today. I'm so glad we did! We got $50 worth of tokens, and little man walked out like a bandit. One of the nice ladies working the
I went once on a Friday afternoon. There were 3 workers there doing their own thing. We were the only customers there, and did not get greeted. Their minimum spend for exchanging tokens is $10, so you can't just pop in while waiting for restaurant and spend a couple dollars. For the actual machines, the claws will grip the toy, but it stops at the top for an excessively long time, so the toy falls before the claws even start moving back to the drop box
Very fun experience. I enjoyed the plushies. Labubu, pompompurin, pikachu, Cookie Monster, etc. are all super cute. The plush material was nice, too! I was worried they'd be the carnival quality, but I was pleasantly surprised.
Great to come and occupy the kids for a while, and also super easy to work with for a birthday party! They take care of the setup and facilitating the party and I got multiple compliments. I hope they will be coming back also!
Took the family here and TLDR review: we had a great time, worth a visit. You do not need cash. Pay with a card when you walk in and receive a tray of coins. Credit and debit accepted. All the games are 1 coin. We spent $60 total for 6 people and came away with 8 prizes. Stayed for maybe 30 minutes, so that can go by quite quickly. I can't say it's the most economical in terms of just going to buy a stuffed animal. But it's a lot of fun. Clean. Busy but not crowded. Has maybe a dozen claw machines or di
My mom and I had such a great time at The Clawcade!! We stopped in while waiting for a table at Kura, and it was a great way to spend the time waiting. The prices were very reasonable (we got the $10/10 tokens x2), and even with our lack of skill, we still walked out with 6 prizes! We also got to chat with the owner, who is an incredibly sweet woman, and found out that she started her business herself! We were more than happy that we were able to support a female run establishment. Definitely will be back t
Stopped by with my family while waiting for a table at Kura. This clawcade is actually worth the money! You can totally win a plushie from the regular claw machines, but the mini ones make it even easier. The staff even adjust the plushies every now and then, which is nice!
Absolutely love this place! Came here with my girlfriend and spent $60 and won all these plushies plus you get a free one! Won 12 plushies minus the free one! Definitely money well spent! Will return soon when they put new ones!????
Fun place!!! My daughter did not leave empty handed . Prices are reasonable. Plush toys are not cheap looking . I will definitely be coming back here .
I was able to visit this place today and, wow, what a great place to win a stuffed animal for your loved one. ?? The claw machines are so cutting edge and the prizes are even better. Super quality stuff. I really appreciate the staff too, very friendly and helpful.
This place was cool!! I heard about it online and wanted to support a local Mom. I took my son and his friend, they are 14/15. She had great luck, he struggled to win! They had a lot of fun, ended up winning a small collection of stuffies. The tokens start at $1 a piece and get cheaper the more you buy. We had fun, and will definitely return. It was clean and would be great for smaller kids too because it isn't too loud / overwhelming.
I love this, Claw Cade! My friend recommended this place. You can't go wrong for $1 a play! Love the selection of plushies from Pokemon, Sanrio, and much much more!
Super fun. We got the family value pack and all 4 of my kids were able to walk away with something (even my 3 year old). Staff were very friendly. The bonus animals were a nice touch and made me feel better about the whole thing, because it meant that even if we didn't get an animal from the claw, we'd get a bonus animal from buying the family pack. The place is also very clean looking and the stuffed animals seemed to be of good quality. They are soft and very cute with desirable characters. They had such
I love this place! I take my daughter after we get out Kura sushi revolver and it's always a good time. With $10 we got 10 tokens and won 2 plushies! Each machine takes 1 token, smaller plushies are 1 token with two tries. So worth it and not like the usual arcade claw machines that never give you a good shot. They are cashless so be payment ready.
An absolute blast! Went as a family of four! Prices are reasonable, staff are friendly, & the environment is safe. Left with so many plushies! Will definitely be returning.
My son is obsessed with claw machines and found this place before we even left for our California vacation. Both of my kids had a blast playing the claw machines and won quite a few plushies. The plushies are really nice quality and my kids love them. Would highly recommend this place to anyone that likes to play claw machines.
Great Place for everyone. Definitely worth it
So much fun! Spent $30 and won 6 plushies. So worth it and had a great time! We will definitely be back
10 year old son loved it. For 20-30 bucks you can have a lot of fun and win a few stuffed animals.
Super fun! The machines are really nice and the kids were so excited every time we won a prize. Will be back again when we are in town!
Loved playing the claw games here. Got some prizes and I wish there was more places like this in the South Bay. I wonder how often they change the prizes.
Very fun! Spent 20 and won a few prizes great date idea with sushi next door
This place is a scam! None of the machines are set to win we spent $20 and got nothing and it won't last a long time if you are lambing on going to an arcade don't go to this one
So cute!! Won 5 plushies with 30 tokens ??
Great place for family?s with young children
This place is great and decent price ??
It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.
Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.
Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.
Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.
Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.
Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.
Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.
No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
