Lots of fun! Great service, everyone was friendly and helpful. Plenty of parking and off the beaten path but well lit. This place offers a nice bit of everything to children of all ages!! The bowling alley is just enough for large groups or a team of two. Food is served with nice tables to sit and eat while playing. They have an arcade with a fun selection of games. There is also a dining area and full bar with plenty of TVs. The entrance and access is wheelchair and assisted mobility friendly. The menu is
The customer service was great but they seemed to stack bowlers side by side, which would slow down the game and extend the time. It would be best if they charged by the game and put a time limit on the game. It would also be nice if they had lower seating instead of just high tables and chairs. Again, though the customer service was spot on.
We had a great experience as first timers tonight. Smooth and easy check in process and we were greeted by our waiter Tommy. He was on top of everything as well as running all over the place for other tables. He was great!! The food was great, recommend the Old Bay & Honey BBQ wings. We enjoyed our family time and look forward to coming back!
Had a good time. Very few people played at the early afternoon on Sunday. The facility was fully operational, clean and in good condition. Didn't try any local food there this time. But in the past, it was OK, including pizzas.
I brought a group of high school students here on a Friday afternoon. Turner, who was working at the time, was very friendly, patient and helpful when ?overrun? by my happy bunch of teens. We all had a fabulous time! The bowling lanes and the entire establishment was really cool old-school, everything was spotless and the staff really friendly. The food was amazing! I had a very tasty chicken quesadilla, and it was loaded! Most of my group ate and they all loved the food and the vibe! I'll be back next year
I went here for the first time tonight for Monday night bowling. From 7pm to 10pm you can bowl for $10 total. Genius. My server?s name was Olivia. She was awesome! Extremely attentive and polite. She kept a smile on her face the entire night! She made our experience amazing! However, there was a bartender named Tyler. He was so rude! I ordered four drinks, however, I only received three. At the end of the night, we were trying to settle the tabs and when I told Olivia that I never got the 4th drink, she sa
We had a good time at The Branch! The food was good and the drinks were really great. Being able to drink some wine and bowl was fun. The atmosphere was pretty cool. The service was great and everyone was very nice! The only negative thing I can say is that their prices are very high! So bring some money!!
The Branch bowling alley is clean and the shoes have been updated with Velcro closures, rather than laces (very disability-friendly). The lanes have automated scoring and feature ?YouToons,? a way to record players? faces and turn them into funny, short videos. The guacamole and red, white, and blue chips were delicious, and the French fries were on point: hot and crispy. However, the food service was extremely slow. Apparently, they also have themed events, like comedy night.
We loved this place and everyone had fun, including kids. Also, they have some vegetarian food options which was awesome for us.
We hosted our son?s 5th birthday and everyone loved it. The process was super easy and the staff were attentive!
Always a great time there, food was excellent for company event! The shrimp ?? was so good I would've ate the whole tray myself lol
Absolutely do not recommend if you are planning to do anything other than bowl. We tried to squeeze in a quick family dinner hoping the arcade would keep the littles entertained while we ordered and waited for food but what we did not anticipate was the almost two hour wait at our table with no food, drinks, or water. The best part was our waiter scolded us for going to the bar to order drinks after repeatedly walking past us over the course of two hours. 0/10.
What an awesome spot. Bowling was so much fun and the food was amazingly good. Service was top notch. One of our new favorite spots now. All around great experience
Clean, orderly and well run. Everyone had a WONDERFUL time! The food was delicious and well-prepared.
Who knew????? The bowling alley!!! A quiet restaurant in the back of the bowling alley! Taco Tuesday?. The best tacos! The best Ruben.. almost three inches thick!!! The Apple salad! The atmosphere is okay? the food is great!!!
The food was great. We had a group of nearly 30 and they did a great job with the food and our orders. I contacted them a week before, since we had a large party.
Went there just for food. Surprisingly, great smoked wings. Sat at the bar. Music got a bit loud at times, especially for lunchtime.
We hosted our son?s 5th birthday and everyone loved it. The process was super easy and the staff were attentive!
We arrived (group of six) when they opened at 11am on Tuesday (New Years Eve) so we could guarantee a lane (since the website says they dont take bookings... even though half of the lanes were actually booked for a party?!?) We booked a lane for two hours. One hour and midway into our second game we were told that we had to leave in 15 minutes because of NYE bookings at 1pm and they would give us a voucher for a free hour. We asked for a 1 hour refund instead, since people were visiting from out of town and
The bowling lanes are like top golf... Pretty sweet. Bar area is beautiful. But I'm a little disappointed in the arcades. Was expecting a bunch of older games instead it's newer typical stuff. Boring. I'll have to loan them my pinball games.
Horrible service. Weird food. We were sat without menus. No one took our order for 45 minutes. My wife ordered a breakfast burrito without meat or cheese, add avacodo. It came as a bowl. They took it back to fix it and added bacon to it. Had to send it back again and just take it off the check. I ordered biscuits and gravy and an extra biscuit on the side. The biscuits were the size of a quarter and the one on the side was $2 for one bite. and they decided to add gravy to it. They split our checks wron
Great find! We found this only because we were totally turned off by the pricing at a more popular bowling place nearby. The Branch was such a good experience, it will be our go to place from now on. The staff is attentive and very helpful. The lane rentals are reasonably priced, and the food is quick and tastes great. The arcade area, though, is a little small. I most definitely recommend you try this place!
Just reopened. It is a beautiful facility. Madison greeted me and showed me around. The manager told me bowling leagues will start soon and they will publish times and dates on their website. 8/12/21 the leagues are now published on website. When I came in today, Madison remembered my name.I had the IPA called The Branch," which was good. We had the pretzel and flatbread. You will see that each of the lanes is named after a local town. The names from 1-16 are: Sterling, Brambleton, Ashburn, Hamilton, Waterf
This is a great venue. Affordable and family friendly. We had an absolute blast. Most importantly (to me), the bathrooms were clean. They have a tiny arcade area , but it has an air hockey table, so I'm ok with that. The chicken tenders leave a lot to be desired unfortunately. The chicken nachos are decent, but it didn't sit well in my stomach after an hour had passed. Next time I'll just stick with drinks from the bar.
Good food and good time. Came here for a birthday party(son's friend)and ordered off the menu. My shrimp wrap and fries were excellent. The party food for the boys looked tasty (pizza, fries, chicken fingers). Will definitely come back. Forget who the host was for the party, but he was great. Attentive and helped wherever and whenever he could.
Very enjoyable experience period we have a team party here and a season party for our youth soccer team period food was excellent pizza was delicious a serve beer about 30 people attended highly recommend it this is one of the best venues for this type of entertainment that I've seen in a long long time period only step up could be the coffee coffee was a little weak but of course you don't come here for the coffee :)
Chicken wings from this place are the best. I have never bowled here, but it gets good every weekend I go and pick up my food.
Just had a party of 26 nurses at The Branch. The food, service & atmosphere were great. Kudos to Sarah (the manager) & Anna (our amazing waitress) - our drinks were never empty, food was amazing & ALL 26 meals were served hot & to the right people even though we switched our seats many times! This will be a monthly event now for us! Thank you Branch!
It was my first time there and it was a fun experience. The music, the food and the prices were not bad. There was this one worker, I believed her name was Liv and she was a total delight!! Definitely one of the BIG REASONS why I wanna come back. My friends and I are going back next week
Really a great experience especially with kids! I brought my 7 year old daughter here on a School holiday. I thought it seemed more adult than some of the other Bowling alleys but it was the only one open on a Wednesday Morning. She absolutely loved it. When you register the machine takes a couple of pictures of you and after each frame it does a little animation with your picture. My daughter thought it was the coolest thing in the world and it really kept her entertained. Also when playing with little kid
Who knew this was here? Did you know that there is a very nice restaurant attached to this bowling alley? With outside seating? The food is pretty good and reasonably priced.. and the service is very good. If I were to give a negative is that even though the restaurant/bar is in a different section apart from the bowling alley, the noise from the bowling alley can sometimes make it difficult to have a conversation.
We've now been to The Branch twice this summer thanks to their participation in the ?Kids Bowl Free? program. We would have come eventually anyway, but this just hastened the visit. I am giving the 4 stars based mostly on the first visit. Because the second visit was not so great. I'm sure it was just a glitch in overall operations, but still some things to be aware of. We got a lane for our family of four right away when we arrived around 11:00 on a Tuesday. The ambience is great. I like the little added
Had a great time with the kids. Bowling is billed by the hour. The wings were delicious and our server, Jen, was very friendly and helpful all night
Ill give this place a 5 star review if you are looking to hang out and eat some good food and beer. They have great specials and great happy hour options. If you are a bowler looking to strictly get practice in. Lanes are usually toasty even on a Monday at 5pm open or their oil is alot lighter than other alleys. I'm usually looking for fresh oil practice and i find myself having to play further inside at this alley because there is so much hook. I really do love the Branch, I enjoy coming here for their f
Fun bowling, small arcade, nice bar "ish" area to eat/drink. Pretty expensive to bowl. Food was good. Service was great. They have a small outdoor area to sit and eat on a nice day.
We LOVE this restaurant!! Our family comes weekly after church to have brunch. Berry is the kindest server! She knows exactly what my 100year old grandmother in law loves to drink and always has all of our drinks ready when we walk in. She goes above and beyond for all of her customers! The food is always incredible and the environment is so welcoming. We love this place! Thank you Berry for all you do!
Positives: Customer service: it was EXCELLENT! Both when planning my kid?s birthday party and then on the day at the Branch, the staff were helpful, friendly and attentive. They brought the food out quickly, kept us fully stocked with drinks, and made sure we had everything we needed. When one of our lanes jammed, they fixed it super quickly so the kids could keep bowling. Lanes: They were great, a good selection of bowling balls in different weights, and ramps for kids to use as well as bumpers. Arcade:
We love this place!! They did a great job renovating. It has a crisp, bright look with modern decor along with comfortable indoor/outdoor seating, a spacious bar, and a large game room. They also have plenty of parking with two entrances/exits for easy access. The staff is super friendly and accommodating. I witnessed them hosting a large corporate event where they provided a buffet along with bowling for everyone. The people said they all work together across the US, and this was a great way to socialize w
Hidden Gem. Refreshing to not pay ridiculous $ for bowling. Great staff too!
Place is amazing! So much fun and something for everyone. Can't wait to bring the kids there and also spend some time with the boys. Will be back soon!
Madison at the bar is incredible. Great service, greater drink recommendations. Well be back soon!
The food was great and bowling was fun. There seemed to be some errors with the counting and randomly assigning spares but we didn't care too much about this. Also it was fun doing the arcade while waiting for our lane to be ready. Would definitely come again.
We stopped by thinking we were going to bowl with the family but instead we had a meal and hung out in their mini arcade. The atmosphere is great here. The bowling alley looks new and really clean. The bistro on the side had a decent looking menu. We ordered the grilled cheese and chicken tenders for the kids. I got the break burrito and my wife got the blackened shrimp wrap. Everything was great besides the burrito. It was lacking a bit of flavor. Everything else, didn't have any complaints. The service
My boyfriend and I didn't really enjoy our experience here and it was our first time coming today around 3pm. The lady that handles shoe rental and the bowling balls was very rude to us. First of all she had an attitude the moment we walked through the door saying I wish the dang phones would stop ringing. Then she was rude when it came to asking for a smaller ball. Idk what her attitude was for, but she needs to learn better customer service. Our waitress was good and the food was good as well.
Took the family here for an evening out. The food was awesome! The chef even came out and asked how everything was. We had 2 burgers, the fish'n'chips, and chicken tenders, plus an appetizer of calamari. We were not necessarily expecting great food, but were thoroughly impressed. The furniture is also great; it seems like it was made by the Local Wood folks who have their shop next door. All beautiful, live edge stuff. Great decor. Bowling was fun, as was the arcade. The cost for the games was MUCH l
Went there yesterday for dinner and bowling for the first time with the fam !! Madison (hope I have the name right) bartender did an absolutely amazing job taking care of my and my wife and the kids. She had a great attitude and personality, made awesome drinks for my wife and did a great job !! Sara the server did an awesome job as well while we were bowling she was super attentive and polite !! Even the young man running the counter and the manager that help bring our food all were great and did an amazin
I had not been there since the new owners took over. The place looks great. The food was delicious. We went for trivia night and had a great time. As a lot of other places the seemed to be short staffed. The server did a good job she was working very hard. We have definitely found a new place.
Great food, really surprising for a bowling alley. Their steak n cheese, reubens, and burgers are excellent. Very cool spot. It is definitely a gem of Leesburg.
We came here tonight and what a great place this is ! The bowling and the food were wonderful ! Will definitely be back !
We just drove 35 min. to come here to bowl and arrived here little after 11 a.m. on Saturday.. (they open at 11 a.m.) We wanted to make sure we get here early since this place gets packed! Well, apparently, someone rented out the entire bowling area today and they're not open to general public until 3 p.m. I wish they post this type of information on their website so people don't waste time! When I suggested to the front desk ppl today, they said website can't be updated..
This is my and my husband?s absolute favorite date night place. Im stuck between wanting to keep it to myself, and brag about it nonstop. ?? Food is always good, atmosphere is fun and inviting, and service is spot on. The employees are kind, thoughtful, and friendly, no matter who is helping you. We've had great experiences with everyone, but in particular we've recently had great help and hospitality from Chandler and Peyton. As I was writing this, my husband even nonchalantly said ?I just love this place
The food here is amazing. Had a great time.
Outstanding bar service and great food at a great price point
A taste of the old...but modern. They renovated the old Village lanes, removing half of the amount of lanes. But it was well done. They added a better arcade and a bar. The food is much better too. The bowling is great. They have an animated monitor; you take photos of yourself, and they're superimposed on characters to create funny skits in response to how you bowled. It's great fun for the kids! Go visit!
We had a wonderful experience today! A group of 10 and our waitress was amazing and the food was delicious!! Definitely try to Mozzarella Medallions!! Our drinks were refilled before we even needed to ask and the kids loved the arcade!
This place needs acoustic noise reduction foam on the walls/ceiling. It's just too damn loud in here. There is almost no point going here with a group of friends because you can't have a conversation. Bowlero and other places have done this and the noise is bearable. It's unbearable at The Branch.
Brought my Kiddies and their Best Friends out tonight to check out the relaunch and revamped bowling alley. We were regulars b/f COVID and were thrilled to come back. The Owners did a PHENOMENAL job with the decor! Food was great, cocktails were great and the customer service was TOP NOTCH!! We LOVED our waitress, Maddie! We will definitely continue coming here!
Great atmosphere. So much better than when people were still allowed to smoke in there. The food service was slow, but they gave us extra food to make up for it. The guy dealing with sales and shoe rentals was a bit gruff. He could have been a bit more pleasant, but overall the kids had a good time and the food tasted good.
Found this gem on a whim. Fun family night out bowling and was shocked at how clean this place was for a bowling alley. The food at the restaurant is FANTASTIC! I've now started stopping by for lunch whenever in town for the best clam chowder anywhere. I'm older and remember bowling rallies as being dark, dirty, full of cigarette smoke and nasty bathrooms. NOT this place! Highly recommend going to have fun or just a great meal at the bar. Staff is fantastic too.
The only complaint I have is that the owners need to add some noise dampening materials to the ceiling and the walls. It is extremely loud inside. So much so that it is difficult to talk/hear anyone who is more than 1 foot away unless you are literally screaming.
Food was good and service was above average. Multiple servers kept drinks filled throughout. Atmosphere is nice, wood accent is beautiful, just very loud while trying to eat with conversation.
This place is awesome!! A hidden gem for sure. It's super clean and the service was great. The kids loved the funny animations that would come up on the screens with their faces after each bowl!! Good food selection, cold beer and even an arcade! We will definitely be coming here more often!
the whole atmosphere is fun and welcoming. The food is delicious- the twist of adding the pretzel to the charcuterie board the perfect addition to the item. The drinks were delicious as well. Our server Mae was so sweet and gave us excellent service. Definetly coming back soon.
Loud, crowded, difficult to make reservation, good food, great service, great Lanes,
The chef here is punching way above the weight class of a bowling alley. Their large pretzel is the best I've had hands down, and their Cajun pasta dish was beyond any Italian restaurant in the area. The staff has been in incredibly friendly on each of the 5 occasions we've visited. I think I agree with one other reviewer that some acoustic padding in the dining area to kill some of the echo in the dining area would be nice. Large cube ice is a must for the cocktails, and they ram out while there, but other
This is my favorite Friday night place. The staff are awesome! They are so friendly but really pro at the same time. Their food is GREAT! The cheeseburgers are fantastic. The lanes are in good condition, the pro shop does a lot of services at a really low price. Jeb does a great job at setting up your ball. I go here 1 to 3 times per week because I have so much fun there. I met my best friends here and the atmosphere is really laid back and makes me feel at home. I highly recommend this place. If you're a l
Really good. The waitress and guys on the till were very personable and accommodating. Good food and good value gaming and surroundings.
Just shared a wonderful luncheon with about 12 nurses at The Branch in Leesburg! The service was wonderful! Never had an empty drink! Our mock tails were so very refreshing! The establishment is very clean and organized! The food was amazing and their menu offered many very delicious suggestions to accommodate anyone?s appetite! Best wishes to the new owners!
We always sit at the bar. Ron is top-notch in service and in making you feel welcome. The Branch has some good Happy Hour specials, and "Taco Tuesday" is awesome . I highly recommend stopping in for a drink or food, or to bowl a few frames.
Happy hour is lovely, lunch specials are great, trivia is fun, and no need to bowl. Sit with Ron at the bar and enjoy your time. He'll take care of you and make you smile.
The Branch is now Open and the wait is over! I went to check it out this past weekend and it is more than I had anticipated. The new owners did a great job renovating the space with all new lanes, arcade, restaurant and bar. It looks incredible! They have a great food and drink menu, very fun atmosphere by the lanes and great games in the arcade. This is the ultimate place to hang if you're in the leesburg area. I will definitely be back sooner rather than later.
Came for lunch with a group of girlfriends. This will be our new go-to place! Excellent menu and the food was amazing, and even had some great ?mock tails?. Can't wait to try some of the real cocktails next time! Beautiful place with a really fun atmosphere ??
We made a last minute stop here for lunch the day before checkout while vacationing in Leesburg. So glad we did! We were a party of 10 and our server kept up with us and our food was delish!
Love the food, atmosphere, and the service is great!!!
Love the branch always clean . And very friendly!!!!!
There's no awareness here and the servers are just plain rude. Waited to be seated for a while and they walked past us like we weren't there. After a while we approached someone and they acted as if they were too busy to assist so they sent us to the bowling alley KNOWING that's not where the restaurant seating is located and we were basically bounced back and fourth just to get rid of us. Maybe it's just a race thing, I'm honestly not sure.
UPDATE** I'm leaving this as a 4-star. The Branch (which is the renovation that just happened) is now open with a small arcade, bar, restaurant, and 16 lanes of bowling. New house balls (so wonderful!) lanes waxed and pins resetting were great! Love the new look and feel. Staff was friendly and helpful! Keep up the good work! Suggestions! 1. Lanes need individual fans. The area was hot and stagnant. 2. Don't put people beside other lanes when there are plenty of open lanes. You restrict people's b
Nice place with friendly accommodating staff. Foods we ordered were good and in line with expectations. We liked the prices on bar drinks 6 buds for $18 Wow! Bowling alley was clean and we'll maintained.
The atmosphere is top level. Karaoke at the bar, great happy hour specials. The bartender was amazing, she is very knowledgeable and kind. The entire staff was working hard. All the bowling lanes were full. Best place to Bowl in Loudoun!
Always find the food, cocktails and service top notch here. Chandler is fabulous and knows his way around the cocktail menu. You have to be a bowler to enjoy this hidden gem in Leesburg.
Really big makeover for the bowling alley. Everything looks really nice and the food was good too (pretzel, guacamole). However, it was all bar chair seating and a little awkward for putting on your bowling shoes and talking to your group (6 in our group on one lane, not enough seats). I was excited to see Mrs Packman in the game room, but it costs $1 to play.
Village Lanes is a no frills, no nonsense bowling alley. When you come here, you can expect to bowl without much distraction. There aren't any strobe or neon lights and there's no loud blaring music. But there is a great atmosphere for a fun filled afternoon with the family to bowl a few games, have some snacks and soft drinks/beers and do all that at a bargain. It's $5 per person per game and $6 for shoe rentals. There's a small kitchen that has all the classic bowling fair. You can get burgers, hot dogs,
Great food for a bowling alley. Expensive.
First off I am very disappointed in the establishment. I decided to go bowling with a friend and brought my own bowling ball. I ended up paying 50 just to get my ball stuck and wait for a new lane. I wasn't refunded for the time I spent waiting to get my ball. In the end they finally gave me my ball back with only 5 minutes remaining.
Really impressed with the recent Village Lanes Bowling Center rebranding and upgrades of The Branch! First, each of the lanes is named after various cities in Loudoun, and we were lucky enough to get the Middleburg lane! The animations and face photos make the experience really fun and interactive. There was a ball at the register that you can use to measure your size (S/M/L) which helped the kids a lot. You also pay by the hour and not necessarily by the game which worked for us. It's pretty reasonable si
They did a great job turning this Bowling Alley into a great spot! Service is amazing and the food is even better. They know what they are doing and it shows. Great date spot or just to go grab some casual drinks with your friends.
This is where I take the kids when I want to bowl and not be distracted by video games and arcade stuff. It's old school in terms of ambience, 80s music, and tech but all of that adds to the experience in my opinion. If you want new and fancy go to Bowlero or The Zone and spend three times as much for everything including the $25 your kids will spend on the video games. Food here is basic but burgers and fries are good. Bowling for two with some food and drinks usually costs me under $40 for two games.
I had a great time here today with my 10 and 13 year old children. The food and service were great and the bowling lanes in good shape. We'll be back soon, the kids were sad to leave.
It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.
Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.
Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.
Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.
Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.
Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.
Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.
No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
Absolutely, retro games in arcades remain a thrilling draw in 2025! Classics like Pac-Man, Space Invaders, and Street Fighter II offer simple yet addictive gameplay, blending nostalgia with timeless challenge. Modern arcade cabinets often feature crisp displays and restored controls, enhancing the experience. These games thrive on quick reflexes and strategy, with vibrant pixel art and iconic soundtracks that spark joy. Arcades host tournaments and leaderboards, fostering a lively community. While modern games dominate, retro titles provide a unique, accessible thrill that keeps arcades buzzing.
