Love this place!! Old time arcade games are so much fun. Takes me way back to when I was a kid. Love that you pay one price and can play all games. We always have a blast here.
Love the vibe here, great pinball machines & various other arcade + tabletop games, pretty good assortment of drinks.. not to mention they nailed the ambiance...hidden ??
Great value! If you get in at opening time on a Saturday, you can get 13hrs straight of unlimited gaming for $15. At Dave & Busters, you'd get like 5 minutes of gameplay for that same price. Cabinets are diverse and enjoyable. They also have a decent selection of pinball machines and game consoles. We had a great time all day here.
This arcade simplifies the stressful dynamic of maintaining card balances and being nickel-and-dimed by every machine into a single, fair, one-time entry fee, after which each cabinet and pinball machine is unlocked for free play. It feels like arcades did in my youth before I had a concept of money, which is a decidedly a Good Thing. My daughter and I have had two excellent days here and we will be back regularly.
Had a great time here! Will definitely be back!
Very good management, friendly staff and plenty of variety for video games, board games, pinball, arcade machines and much more!! If you're expecting Dave N Busters this isn't that. It's more of family-style arcade that we all grew up going to, a nostalgia fun filled time! Bar is nice for gaming and having some drinks, not a trashy adult drinking environment unsafe for little ones which is nice.
Cool place. Arcade and retro style themes. However, do NOT go here for any themed trivia. The dungeon crawler Carl trivia was rigged by the host to let his friends win which was confirmed by the points at the end. Really disappointing that would happen. Otherwise if you come in a non trivia day it's pretty cool.
Fantastic collection of retro video games and pinball machines. Love the open play model. I grew up in the 80s and remember all these games, wonderful to see them all still working. My son had a blast playing them also. Good beer selection as well.
Great Staff & almost all of the machines were working. That in itself was amazing as pinball machines take a lot of maintenance. It was a good friends 40th birthday and perfect for the occasion.
This arcade is very small. The arcade games are old. Some of the screens are blurry (multi-game with Track and Field) and some of the joysticks are slow to respond. There are a couple of new pinball machines but I found it hard to get playing time as people tended to camp out on them. They did have some consoles to play, but there were kids camped out on them. There is a bar with cocktails ranging from $10 - 15. I liked the tables - each had a different theme. One was covered in cassette covers, anot
So much fun and worth the cover fee. I'd spend WAY more than $15 at any other gaming bar on play time alone. There's a really good selection of games, both retro and new. The staff was friendly and they seem to take good note of if a game needs attention/repair.
Trivia nights, game battle nights, karaoke nights, and a crowd mainly in 20-35 yr age range, but I'm seeing a trend for more kids and families lately. I feared this place would run its course and fade, but on weekends it's getting even more packed. Good clean nostalgic (for over-forty like me) fun!
Arcades are not always my favorite but this was a lot of fun. It was one flat fee for unlimited games. You can't beat that price that also had a bunch of modern and classic Nintendo and other games. The staff was friendly and did a good job explaining everything
Great parking, great great price, just wish there was food. You absolutely cannot beat all the great games to play from the 1980-90s for $15 for a couple hours of fun is nuts in this day and age. Plenty of parking for us on a Saturday- but we did get there fairly early (around 7pm). 93% of the games worked. The consoles were all taken up pretty much the whole night which was the only bad part since our group of 4 really wanted to play Mario Cart as a group. I really wish this place had food. Or food tr
Great place! $15 for an all day pass. They give you a wristband. So, if yiu wanna cruise downtown Woodstock and come back, you can! Kid loved playing the PS5. We will be come back again. Also ordered a 20oz Dasani water and a 12oz can soda, only about 3 bucks. Totally reasonable!
Absolutely love this place! Took my siblings there & was hit with so much nostalgia with the retro games. Apart from the fun games they also have a fun and great tasting drink menu. Great place for kids and for grown ups.
follow them on intstagram for all the best deals! everyone is always so nice and it's such a cool place to visit :) 10/10
This place is amazing! My family went here when we first moved here and it was a blast. The kids loved it.10/10
15 bucks for all night down a nostalgia rabbit hole? Yes, please. Friendly and fun staff, good beer on tap, and all the arcades you used to play in the 90s (with a few modern ones tossed in). Its themed to be a throwback spot. The art and deco is geared to us in our 30s, who grew up playing Super Tecmo Bowl, Gauntlet, Mortal Kombat, and Street Fighter. They also have a healthy board game selection, a Switch and Xbox set up, and some lounging couches. The crowd was a good mix of people just having a good tim
This was fun. $15 and you get a wrist band for the whole day. You're free to go in and out until they close. Bar in the back serves cocktails and mocktails. Plenty of options for both and other drink choices as well. Cabinet, pinball, table top, and console games available. I wish there was a bit more by way of cabinets and pinball over board games and consoles, but that's a personal preference. Bathrooms were clean. Went for a 21+ night and enjoyed the vibe. Can be a bit loud, but it is an arcade. Ha
Wonderful place and such a brilliant idea. We paid $15 per person and that is an all day pass from open til close with unlimited play. They have such a big selection of retro arcade games and pinball machines. They have TONS of board games, gaming consoles and a full service bar. They only offer a few snacks but you can bring in outside food. So if you want to play games and order a pizza for delivery, you can do that. They do karaoke once a month. They also do trivia nights. Great place to take the kids or
03/03/24 - Back again. Issues persist. Every machine I tried today had problems. After 15 minutes of play I left. Waste of time and money. I asked to speak to the manager and they said sure then asked me what it was about. I told them all the machines had issues and the girl sighed and said, "We know. We've told the owner. It's frustrating for us, too." Specific issues today: Mandalorian - any time ball enters the scoop it gets stuck and has to wait for a kickback cycle. Loose ramp issue from Jan
Awesome atmosphere. Reasonable prices on drinks. And all you can play games for $15. Tonight was the first night but we will for sure be back
Great collection of machines as well as consoles. Played Mario Kart sitting at the bar so that was pretty cool. Really the standout feature of this place is the staff, everyone was super friendly and helpful. Will definitely be back.
This place is so fun! Great for families or adults. They have retro games, lots of pinball, couches with game systems available for groups. They will let let you bring you own food and they have a bar also.
This was an interesting place. They had a lot of retro games which was cool, and a lot of pinball machines as well. They charge $15 for the entire day for you to play as much as you want. They also have a full bar and a lighter to bring food in from the outside. They also have a ton of board games there. It's definitely interesting place with a very different business model. I would definitely go back every once in awhile play to bring you back to my childhood.
Great value. Unlimited retro games and pinball machines and console screens for $15? Good deal. No gimmicks. Cheap non alcoholic drinks too if you're like me and don't drink. Heard the bar was a little pricey but can't comment.
I love to support local businesses. However, I won't be back. Many of the machines were broken and even if they looked like they worked, when you played them they had broken pieces to them (flippers, lights, etc.). Old drinks were sitting everywhere and many of the tables by the pinball machines looked broken and were tilted like your drink would slide off. I said something to one of the ladies working the door. The response was the machines are repaired on Mondays and by the weekend, many are broken. I ask
A group of us went here for my boyfriend?s birthday. It was definitely a good time. It isn't a bar/party atmosphere, but fun to have a drink and enjoy an evening of pinball.
nice place, good variety of video games as well as real pinball machines, nice decor to boot, plus they had this thing which was hilarious to play
Cool place, definitely worth checking out if you like old video games ????
What a fun blast from the past. All of the old/retro games were so fun and nostalgic. Plus they have board games as well as karaoke, a bar, and 3 tvs with sofas all set up to play console games with your friends. It's only $15 to play free games all night. You get popcorn for free while you're there and you get unlimited free re-entry all night as long as you keep your wristband on.
Staff was really friendly and helpful. Drinks (alcoholic) are a bit pricey but VERY strong. To me anyhow. Games are varied and lots of them. Controls needed some maintenance on a few of the machines tho. Fortunately, you pay by the day, so finding a bum machine isn't as big a deal as it was in the 80s/90s.
They had free popcorn at their goth event, the dj's were cool. I'd come again if they hosted it once more
Lots of fun and a great place to hang out !
Wow, what a fun place! I took my teenage son and his friend while we were waiting for a table at a nearby restaurant; they had a great time. The staff was so friendly and service was fantastic. The games bring back memories, I think Galaga is my favorite, reminiscent of the Pizza Hut version from the mid-80's, but I loved playing the pinball machines, as well. What a great concept and outstanding addition to Downtown Woodstock. Highly recommended.
$15 a person to play as long as you want from 1pm until 2am. They offer snack food but have a full bar. Over 50 beers/cocktails offered. Sodas and water are available as well. They have arcade games, pinball machines, and even consoles available. Something for the whole family to enjoy. There are 2 restaurants in the same plaza or you can go down the street and bring food in. They just ask you not to bring beverages as they sell those on site! Great concept. Friendly staff. No complaints!
Very cool place. Lots of selection and modern consoles setup in cool arrangements (you can even play while sitting at the bar and having drinks). I did run into a couple arcade systems that were broken in one way or another, so maybe better upkeep, but I'll for sure come back and spend many more hours.
My wife and I came in to this establishment on a Friday evening. Our food was thrown away by the bartender. Our food was uneaten. We were then laughed at by the bartender and handed the bill. Hard to believe but 100% true. We paid, went and bought food someplace else and ate a proper meal. If you're into getting robbed by a business, come here. Great experience.
Have the best time at Blue Ghost arcade, beautiful arcades and great mocktails. Absolutely love the wallpaper on the bar, all my favorite bands are listed. (Depeche mode, new order, Peter murphy, sisters of mercy, thrill kill kult. Etc ) If you are an 80s to 90s alternative fan, this is the place to be.
Overall, We enjoyed the Blue Ghost. I would go with 4.5 stars, if I could due to our circumstances. Our family of four came with a special needs son who requires such supervision, that one of us cannot lose focus on him to play what we would choose. My husband was recently disabled following surgeries, and has never cared about video games. He only came with us so I wouldn't be alone with the boys, especially considering the high needs of one, on top of my not being from this area. It would be beneficial to
Cool place but a little surprised a tip is asked for the entry fee. Maybe the software for the register is shared or can be used to ring up food.
Such a cool space and so much fun. We went to a drag show that they hosted and has the greatest time watching the show and playing games. I'm so excited for the next drag show they have there! I will definitely be bringing all my friends.
We love this place! Just discovered it recently and have already been twice. They have lots of fun things to do - grab a game-themed drink from the bar, play games on a console right at the bar, play old cabinet games, or play basically any console at one of the TVs with couches. Love the location in downtown Woodstock too.
Went here for birthday. Lots of consoles to play on as well as lots of free play retro cabinets. Cocktails are surprisingly affordable and usually pretty good. would recommend
Really cool place with classic games - I just wish some of the pinball tables were a bit more maintained. A lot if the lights dont work, some if the tables were down and others (like the greatest pinball of all time - The Twilight Zone) didn't have snappy flippers. I know it is hard since they are free.- meaning kids are constantly smacking the buttons - but still. But I'm very glad the place is there. It's a decent value, having a bar is nice and the dungeon feel brings me back to the old arcaded. Mor
Really neat and definitely worth the 15 dollar admission. I wish some of the machines were not out of service and they had a few more consoles since people tended to camp them out for over an hour.
It has a lot more games than you would expect. The variety of games is AWESOME; old arcade games, new arcade games, game consoles, and board games (from what I saw). Their staff was super kind! The bar had a good selection of mixed drinks that were themed. I'm excited to go back and highly recommend!
Some friends and I wanted to check this place out. 15 dollars for unlimited arcade games is a great deal. They had the classics, fighting games, shooters, and pinball machines with no quarters required! They had a nice drink selection with creative cocktails and good drinks on tap. My friends and I found a TV with a switch set up. All we had to do was ask the staff for controllers and the game and they got it all set up for us (they do hold on to ID for collateral). They were all very polite and friendly th
First time here and the experience was outstanding. I'm a huge Ms Pac-Man fan and the machine worked flawlessly. Unfortunately the Galaga joystick was sticky but that's to be expected in any arcade room. I enjoyed the layout and the technology. On one side they had large couches where you could fit 4+ people to play console games like Super Mario Kart. And the bar area was top notch. They had Reformation, Schoolhouse, Scofflaw, and Ironmonger on tap, easily the best breweries in the area. $15 to play unlimi
Like the old school games to use to make lines sometimes to play? You know the game when you were a kid and actually enjoyed playing. Basic fun video games. Kids safe zone. Small but very comfortable
Went for the halloween party. Has a nice selection of retro fighting games such as SF2 CE, Marvel Vs Street Fighter, Killer Instinct, SNK Neo Geo collection, and Tekken Tag Tournament. Staff is very fun and friendly, and put on a good event.
Love this spot, my husband and I frequent here often. So much fun !
I had a good time the first few times we went here. Until 05/21/22 I went out with a couple of friends and at first we were having a great time until later into the night these three men 21+ ruined it. It started out with one of them inviting us to their table to play games thought nothing of it until they started to ask about our age then asked one of my friend's if they wanted a drink. We are all 17-18 years old. When we told the workers to they took initiative by telling them off for us, we went back in
First time in the states and as a brit I wanted to go to the arcades. Big mistake! Foul attitude from all. Including what I presume is the daughter? No customer service. Proper stink face attitude from them all! Won't be returning during my time in the States! Would recommend a new bartender too! Awful person who doesnt love their job! AVOID like the plague.
Great place to hang, arcades are in decent condition. Pinball needs upkeep. Very unreliable. Nice machines and some cool classics - doesn't matter if they have issues.
When I first came to Blue Ghost Arcade a year ago I was surprised and excited about the low cost to play so many amazing games as much as you want. Then I learned there was a monthly membership option. They buy all the popular new games, the staff is the best, and the membership gets you a discount on drinks - which is just icing on the cake. Can't recommend enough!
Loved it! Plenty of pinball and arcade cabinets, consoles as well. Some machines were down, but you can't complain about a 25 to 45 year old machine breaking. I will be back!
This place is awesome. Plenty of good games to choose from and folks at the front were really nice too. Will be coming back ASAP
This is a great addition to the downtown area of Woodstock. I do really like the wide righty of video game cabinet and also the ability to play pretty much any video game console and almost any game they have them all! You pay one price and you can access the whole day and can come and go until closing. They also allow you to bring in your own food if you like and the drinks and non-alcoholic drinks are pretty affordable. Also they have a bust a move gaming cabinet! This is a game that I love to play growin
A fun arcade with a great selection of games. What really sets this place apart is an incredibly well stocked bar: Mixed drinks, 10 beers/ciders on tap, and a huge list of bottles and cans. The price also can't be beat, but be prepared to doordash food over because they only have snacks.
Very fun. Lots of nostalgia
Fun arcade, good games. There was a problem with a group of guys following us around which was reported and handled accordingly - but for reference, the guys following us asked at least one of us directly if they could buy them a drink while knowing they are underage. The real issue begins with one of the workers (whose name I do not know) who proceeded to place most of the blame on us instead of the men for apparently ?lying to them about our age,? under the impression that we were actually 15 pretending t
Loved the Murder Mystery Night they had on Valentine?s Day! I hope they do it again soon! Also, the bartenders were super sweet and drinks were strong and yummy!
Great place to go for a fun night. The staff is super nice and friendly. I love that you pay a fee to get in and then can play all the games without having to use tokens or coins. I wish it was open later than midnight on the weekends.
Great selection of arcade games as well as Xbox X, PS5, and N64 games. $15 and you play ALL day. Staff was very friendly. Big shout out to KC, a staff member, who great with our kids. We will definitely be going back!
I love this place! Kind staff. Amazing selection of games. Clean bathrooms. I love it so much I got a membership. Highly recommend! My new favorite place.
Best place to go. So much fun. Drinks are the best ever and lots of theme nights. You can't go wrong.. we drive from Atlanta all the time.
This place is awesome. Great games, events and staff! I am here all the time (which makes that monthly membership really worthwhile!). Feels like home away from home - with bar.
This is new to the area but promises to be a great and unique contribution to downtown Woodstock. The game cabinets were in great shape with a wide selection of games (the pinballs are still my favorite). The special cocktail menu holds some fantastic surprises. Not a whiskey person myself, but the Scorpion was tasty, and the "Not a Dessert" was sinfully delicious. Also loved the sour-patch sugar rim for a different cocktail - yum! Definitely going back again to explore some more.
We love coming here! We bring all of our friends! They have great drink prices and games. We've spent several hours here without even realizing it.
Super friendly staff and great games. I went for the pinball machines but when I saw their collection of stand up arcades I couldn't help but play a few classics. Great place for parties.
Great pinball!! 11 Games in April 2023: Avengers: Infinity Quest (pro) (Stern, 2020), Back to the Future: The Pinball( Data East, 1990), Bugs Bunny's Birthday Ball (Bally, 1991), Creature from the Black Lagoon (Bally, 1992), Godzilla (Pro) (Stern, 2021, Connected), Hook (Data East, 1992), Jurassic Park (Pro) (Stern, 2019), Star Trek (Data East, 1991), Mandalorian (Pro) (Stern, 2021, Connected), Twilight Zone (Bally, 1993), X Files, The (Sega, 1997)
Great pinball selection, bad lighting and sometimes sketchy people at the bar. Overall good.
This was a fun venue, lots of old school games. Played Mario cart at the bar. Had a couple cocktails. We will probably do this again soon.
I have been multiple times now, and I love it. We just attended the Star Wars themed drag show, and it was a great time. I will continue to frequent this awesome adult arcade.
This is a fun little place to visit. Not too expensive and plenty or pinball and arcade machines. You can also play consoles on the couches or at the bar. Will come again
My teenage son and three of his friends spent a Saturday here, and they loved it! So did the dads who went with them. Great fun at an amazing price, with games for everyone!
Had a great time there twice now and met the owners at the Southern Fried Gaming Expo. Small business owners who really do care about their customers and always looking to improve their place.
This place is amazing. Candy/snacks/bar/pinball/arcade? what else could you want. Great for all ages!!
Love it! What a cool space to be a kid again and to let modern kids have a taste of retro fun!
Nice that adults and kids can be entertained at the same location. Needs better ventilation. Not the most pleasant smelling on the night we visited.
They have a great selection of arcade games and beer. Friendly staff. However, I was disappointed that the restrooms didn't have a changing station. There's definitely room for one.
Had a great time with the family. Bartender Trish was great. Would have liked to see the board games listed by age or difficulty.
This place is everything I hoped it could be. Great retro arcade with modern and legacy consoles available for play on big screen TVs. Quality beer selection! Victory golden monkey on draft!
Fun place to bring the kids. The kids have fun and the adults relax. Just had a birthday party there for my 11 year old. They made it super easy!!
The games and drinks here are great. I really like the fun named drinks. I didn't have anything that I disliked. Overall I had fun but some of the games didn't work correctly.
I cannot express how great full I am for this place. It's fairly priced great customer service, and very clean. I appreciate you guys!
It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.
Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.
Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.
Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.
Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.
Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.
Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.
No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
Yes, pinball tables in arcades remain a blast. Their hands-on, skill-driven gameplay delivers a thrill digital games can’t match, blending nostalgia with modern flair. Newer tables from Stern and Jersey Jack feature LCD screens and themes like Avengers or Stranger Things, keeping things exciting. Arcades are seeing a pinball resurgence with vibrant scenes and tournaments like IFPA events drawing crowds. Though less common than video games, pinball’s tactile charm and community vibe make it a standout arcade experience in 2025.
Absolutely, retro games in arcades remain a thrilling draw in 2025! Classics like Pac-Man, Space Invaders, and Street Fighter II offer simple yet addictive gameplay, blending nostalgia with timeless challenge. Modern arcade cabinets often feature crisp displays and restored controls, enhancing the experience. These games thrive on quick reflexes and strategy, with vibrant pixel art and iconic soundtracks that spark joy. Arcades host tournaments and leaderboards, fostering a lively community. While modern games dominate, retro titles provide a unique, accessible thrill that keeps arcades buzzing.
