The Arcade Era

We had such a wonderful time taking our niece and nephew for some Friday night fun at the Arcade Era. It was a blast. Once you purchase you have access to go back in the mall to use restrooms, eat, etc and then come back and play some more. It's very affordable!! Well worth it. They had a plethora of old and new games. You're never too old to enjoy an arcade night. We will be back.

Great fun and with unlimited on games for a flat fee it's really worth it. They have newer games and retro games. Good balance and a lot of fun. Time passed fast and ended up being there for about 2-3 hours. Great way to enjoy some time.

It was fantastic at the Arcade Era, lots of fun games. My daughter and I were enjoying each and every game. They got Capcom vs Street Fighter and Mortal Kombat. Alex the employee here is very amazing. Please come visit guys. #Greatmoments.

My family and I had spare time to kill before going to the movie theater and decided to go to the arcades. My kids had a great time. The place was clean and the owner was very pleasant.

This place has ALL the classics. Me and my buddies spent well over 4 hours here and we're going to start making it a regular thing. Super chill, and management was really nice and welcoming. Highly recommend!

Ok, first off shout-out to Alex and co-owner for allowing me to recapture my childhood. They have all the classic games!! MK 1, MK 2, Street Fighter, NBA Jam, Duck Hunt, Contra, Pac-Man and sooo much more. The picture quality is great as well (LCD not CRT), no lag time in the older games. This place is great and I would recommend it to anyone. It has a variety of games that range from old school to modern. It is easy to want to stay there for hours. It's also great that there is a flat fee to pay upon entry and then you can play as much as you want. You can even get a stamp on your hand, leave and come back the same day to play more without having to repay the fee. This is an easy way to have fun and I would definitely love to return. This place has a great mix of like a 90s style traditional arcade combined with a modern aesthetic. Game variety is great. My kids love that they can just play and play. Especially my younger child who would normally get upset when a game ends? instead he just presses the button to ?continue game.? They don't have to bother with tokens or swiping a game card, they can just play and have fun.

I generally enjoyed my experience. There's a diverse and interesting selection. All the machines worked, too, which is huge for these kinds of "neo arcades" (though the steering on Cruising World was a little too sensitive to me, but still playable). One of the coolest things there is an "Arcade Legends" cabinet that has an unholy amount of games loaded onto it, including some nice deep-cuts like Quantum and Major Havoc. Wasn't open despite the posted hours saying they were. No signage signifying why they were closed. Palmer Park Mall location doesn't even exist anymore despite it showing as open on maps as well. What's the point of posting open hours if you won't follow them?

Kids love it so much it's hard to leave but well worth the experience!

The Arcade Era is literally perfect! They have a little something for everyone to enjoy at every age. It's not thing to see the place in pictures but once you experience in person it's completely different. They have so many games to pick from as well! Had a great time with my sister, I'm happy to finally have something like this closer to home. It was a little smaller than I expected but still has lots of cool games and we enjoyed ourselves. Looking forward to the future of this place, hopefully more games get added sooner than later. :)

Open later please. There are 40 people in the mall and nothing is open. We want to play games but you close so early. Seriously, other simular arcades are open to 2am. Get a grip.

Poconos families with kids and old school gamers of any age score a big win here! The Stroud Mall finally has something for kids to do! All the retro Arcade Vibes come out! The place is kept really clean and has a Great selection of games. If the price point seems high, think about what arcade games cost at coin opp place these days and remember that you get the whole day for one price.

Bad service, cool games I paid $40 and they asked me to pay for me to help the kids playing!! To your reply/ If u really checked the cameras for sure u know that I wasn't playing your funny games im 33 years old btw , the only game i did play it was for 2 players and my kid for sure can't play it alone! I RECOMMEND THIS PLACE. Fun games and I love the retro theme makes me feel young again. It's a good place to take your kids and show them what games we used to play for fun.

Definitely not worth $20 they only have 3 good games the rest are old games. Super boring not as an entertaining as it seems. These people must have been paid to make reviews because it's really bad once you in there.
