Very family friendly place that really takes this gen x guy back to his childhood hood. The food was quick, tasty and reasonably priced. The game play is hard to beat at $12 for unlimited play on MOST of the games. Some games like skeeball cost extra, but still aren't bad at all. I did not partake but the bar looked well stocked and again the prices were very reasonable. Things that could be improved would include cleaning the games better, some are pretty visibly dirty and taking more care to ensure the

Step into a time machine and land right in the heart of downtown Wichita at this epic arcade! For a small admission fee, you can unleash your inner 80s and 90s kid and play all 103 arcade games to your heart's content. Think you're a pinball wizard? Prove it on one of the 23 classic pinball machines, complete with modern LED displays that broadcast your epic (or not-so-epic) moves to everyone around. Feeling a bit peckish after all that button-mashing? No worries! This place has a fully stocked bar and a k

Tuesday night is the night to come! Half off gameplay! There's a good variety of games to play and there is something for everyone. It gets crowded fast but it's a really nice set-up as there is food and drinks available along with some decent-sized party rooms. Fun place to check out!

This place was a lot of fun!! I believe it's 21+ after 9 p.m. on weekends, and you can play almost everything with just a $12 pass. I did not get food or drinks while I was here, but they did seem to have a good menu for both! This is a really nice place for a date, or just a fun night out with friends!

Everytime I come in I always have a great experience. The staff is always super kind and accommodating. I had a bad experience with another bar for my birthday and so we went here and they gave me tokens and the party room since it was available. Absolutely loved how they took care of me and my group. Bonus was how much my niece loved it too! Super great place and would definitely recommend!

This place is awesome. We've talked about taking the kids for years, but never got around to it. We questioned how fun it would truly be. We were blown away with how much fun we all had. Honestly, for a family of 5, the cost really wasn't bad; especially since all of the arcade games are included with cost. So many different games from my childhood (80's-90's) but there were a few games my parents would have played as well. We definitely plan on coming back and probably grab a meal from their kitchen while

Terrific place!!! My wife and I were at The Arcade on a Sunday at opening time. Besides us there were a few others waiting. It opened right on time. We travel quite a bit and love to find places to play pinball. I don't think you could find a better place. The gentleman who opened the door (probably the manager) was extremely nice, he explained how things worked and soon he was back to make sure we were happy. There were 22 pinball machines, all of them worked and were in perfect condition. We have never pl

The place will always be amazing great service, amazing arcade, awesome staff... will be back very very soon plus the food and drinks are on par for any good time.

We had a blast, all ages enjoyed. Glad we have something like this in town. The unlimited game option is great, and the food was yummy! Kids also liked the outdoor area, things to play with.

What a unique and fun experience! Jen was our server and she was incredible! We loved the pizza and creative drink menu. We had our sons party there and they went above and beyond for him. We had a lot of dietary needs and they accommodated everything. The games were so fun and there were drink holders everywhere. There's also pin ball machines and skee ball but those cost a little extra. Come for the nostalgia and stay for the yummy food and drinks!

We were in town for the Jr.Olympics and this was our favorite part of Wichita! Pinball was amazing, beer was cold, food was great and reasonably priced and the service from the staff was great. I would highly recommend the gem if you are living in or traveling through Wichita!

My girlfriend and I visited The Arcade in Wichita and had an absolute blast! It's such a fun, nostalgic spot with an awesome selection of classic and retro games. The vibe is super laid-back, and the staff were really welcoming. We spent hours playing all our old favorites and even discovered a few new ones. Highly recommend checking it out if you're looking for a fun, unique date idea or just want to relive some childhood memories. Can't wait to come back!

It's a really fun place with old school arcade games. Yes, we all know that. The great price of 12.00 for all you can play is awesome! Also, they have a full bar, which is always a plus! Don't sleep on the Hunt's brothers pizza either. It better than it should be, in fact it's excellent.

Blew in from out of town (OKC) to visit a friend! Diana was an amazing bartender and very attentive. My mini corn dogs were on point and delicious! Claudia was friendly and attentive to all guests as a manager, and the staff all around were great and friendly! 5,500,555 stars out of 5!!

Great place to go with friends and family! Food and service was good and lots of retro games to scratch that nostalgic itch! I really enjoyed their huge row of pinball tables too! Overall just a fun place!

This place is amazing. Old school arcade games. It's only $12 per adult and you can play all the games you want. There are some that take tokens so be aware you might need some cash. They do serve food including pizza, pretzel bites and boneless wings. It's a great place to spend the afternoon with your family.

Great games and drinks. The new location is quite nice. Something about how all the sounds just blend together.. it's like I'm going backward in time. Took my father there, and we played some gauntlet.

I took my family here this weekend. 2 adults, a teenager, and 2 boys under 10. For all of us for unlimited games was about 60 bucks. This is an amazing deal. We stayed for 3hrs and played game after game after game. Basically it comes to 4 dollars an hr per person. You will not find that anywhere else. The arcade was nice the games all worked. Which is not typical, and my boys were def impressed. Not having to swipe* a card for each play made it so much less stressful. We got there about noon and it was pr

This was our first time at their new location. Set up is perfect, they did a fantastic job. We were worried because the original location was so charming and held good memories, but we made wonderful new memories with their Mario kart game!!! Great bartenders, friendly staff.

Awesome place to play retro games. I love the one time fee to play as much as you'd like. The kids LOVED it. They also have party rooms available, and a bar!

The parking was horrible for the size of the place, although it was a Saturday afternoon. The food was delicious. Like we were surprised how good it was. We had pizza, tenders, and wings and would do it all over again. It's kind of a bummer the wristband doesn't include the pinball and ski ball games but can't have everything. It was incredibly loud as you would imagine. The ?80s kid in me love the the PAC-Man start-up would occasionally just come through crystal clear across the room. The bathroom was okay

Awesome hangout to play retro games and pinball. It's one of our go-to places. DO NOT GO ON PINBALL LEAGUE NIGHTS. They aren't managed or regulated. Anytime we've gone at the same time, we have to fight to keep our table. Tonight, same thing. A league member came over and sat at our table that had both our drinks and headphones on them (obviously taken). We were at the pinball machine right in front of our table. I know the drill so I went and sat down while my bf played (we had food coming so legit needed

I had a super good time! The best time I have had in a long time. The atmosphere brought me back to when arcades were everywhere. If you are as old as I am take some time and relive that childhood or help your littles experience some of your childhood joy. This is the perfect place to do that. Enjoy it guys!!

First time there. Great food we had the queso burger, the burger with mozzarella sticks and pepperoni marinara sauce. And queso tots. Played games then I love pin ball so I played a lot. Highly recommend

The Arcade is a very family friendly and fun place to visit. All ages welcome, at least until 9pm. Which is still a great time! I had a birthday party here recently and the staff was super helpful and friendly, we didn't have to ask for anything. They were on top of it all! The room was spacious and had plenty of room for everyone and all our food and cupcakes. The pizza was DELICIOUS and went super fast because we loved it so much! And the games... Well, classics, all the best ones! I'll be back to finish

If you want a fun time that doesn't cost much this is your place. Play as many old arcade games for one price. Have a party here or just come for pizza and beer. There are a few free outdoor games and a 21 and up time if kids aren't your thing.

I was passing by and saw children playing in the courtyard. I wondered if it would fit our family gathering habits. Like we do at chkn n pckl. They do serve some food [pizza, chip bags,..] and adult and regular beverages. I forgot to enquire about mocktails. Anyway they are now across the street from bbq. I was allowed to peruse the paid area and was amazed at the list of games. Didnt find my 2 old faves.. Missile Defense and Omega Race. But i knew i could come and kill some time here, play skiball or giant

This place. Quite possibly one of the best go-to locations in Wichita. If you love the old school 80?s and 90?s video games, then The Arcade has it. I've also been here for multiple parties and their new location is a must if you have kids or if you're a kid at heart!

Had my daughters 16th birthday party here everything went great the pizza was amazing and everyone had a blast i can not reccom3nd this place enough for kids parties! Thank you for making ym daughters 16th birthday a great one

I loved the old arcade but I really love the new arcade. Really the old school video games and pinball. We also like that there is more space and patio to chill out with corn hole and connect four. The only down side they didn't have the string lights on yet. The menu to pizza and apps right now but the pizza was really good. Everything is pretty reasonable price.

I took my son and his friend to go play some video games. We all had a blast! The staff at The Arcade were all very friendly, and the games were so much fun.

Very fun place. Was surprised at the pizza, really good pizza. Great bar with good staff. We mostly play pinball which there is a great selection of pinball.

This place is AWESOME. Old school video games and pinball + a full bar + what smelled like a good pizza tho we only stopped for a quick look see... and to "go back in time" for a bit. We'll DEFINATELY be back again to show the grandkids what playing video games looked like " back on the day"

What a cool place. Blast from the past. It was super cool taking the grandbabies to play all of my old video games from highschool and junior high. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. Great family fun!

The Arcade is like stepping back into the 80s in such a great and fun way! The arcade games they have are totally awesome! I was so surprised and excited by all the pinball machines they have and of course all the video arcade games and skeeball!! They definitely take you back! The wall to wall games are great! They have all your favs from back in the day!! You really gotta check it out!! Thank you

Almost every machine working well among older games that are harder to maintain, pinball well maintained with good pricing, food was good. Definitely worth the four hour drive for us to check it out!

My grandchildren enjoyed the games, I even got to play one. The pizza was so good...better then some chains.

An awesome, family friendly place that takes me back to my childhood! Nostalgic! Great food and plenty of tv?s and drink options.

Amazing place. Great vintage games and cold drinks. Super cheap to play games as the rust band get you in to play the machines.

The new space is great!!! They have an outside area now with a ton of seating and games! They did switch to tokens for the pinball and larger machines. They have added a ton more places to put drinks while playing games! The bar now has super cute on brand drinks like "Princess Peaches Pink Lemonade". And even more seating than they have had before. We didn't order any pizza but it did smell and look great! I loved The Arcade before, but this new space has taken them to a new level and I can't wait to see t

We really enjoyed our time there. My husband was in heaven and it brought back so many memories of being a child and playing pinball games

I've never seen so many old arcade games in one place! We had a blast!

What a great place for adults, & kids alike! We came in with 5 boys today and they all had a blast. I'd love to come in again without the boys for date night. I'm also definitely looking ahead for a place to host a birthday party, because they definitely make it worth it here.

I love this place. The pinball is so amazing! The food is amazing. The staff is always really nice. Great for the whole family.

Love this place. It's fun to hang out and play games with family. Great food, love the wings. The bathroom was clean and I think it's cool that you can have a birthday party there too. Also I made this video for fun below.

Not a bad place, I was impressed. Games a bit crowded which makes it hard to do double player but that's just me looking for things wrong. Didn't sample the food but I'll definitely be back. I hope they can aquire a smash tv arcade so I can really re-live my youth.

Nice bar and tasty pizza. Kids (or adults) can play all day for $12. Outdoor games and an extensive arcade with current games and old favorites. 4 player Pac-Man is pretty fun.

Excellent selection of retro games. They have a nice row of pinball games also. I like how they now have an on site restaurant in case you want some food or drink.

Great place to play arcades and pinball. It is nice that adults can have a drink if they want while the kids play

Awesome place! Play all day on some of the classics for a really low price. I would pay more for newer games. Also pinball, 4 player Pacman, and skee ball. All take quarters to play

This place was pretty cool.. little crowded but I thought it was a fun place to hang out... I'm glad there are still places like this out there...

Plan to be here for like 4 hours. This place is literally what I've been seeking out. All arcade games are set to free play with Ann entry fee. Staff is super chill. ?? ??

Recently stopped in on our way back to Colorado from Oklahoma. What a great selection of pinball machines and arcade games! The pizza we ordered got to us quickly and was delicious. Check out their outdoor area!

Enjoyed the atmosphere, the volume of different Arcade games that you can play is amazing. Pinball is a all time favorite of mine, their selection is excellent. Would recommend this place to anyone who wants a day to just relax and have fun.

It was busy, yet despite that the pizza was amazingly fast, and hot and fresh when we got it, the bartender was super nice and sweet, and the games are so fun! The staff was kind aswell and is an overall 5/5 star recommendation.

I am very disappointed in this establishment. There once was a time where me and my friends would take multiple weekends out of our year to go see a movie, grab dinner, and spend the rest of the night at the arcade, but this was the old location. There was the perfect nostalgic feel of the neon carpets and music and dark room, and now it's just some stupid middle aged person?s dream of getting drunk and taking away from the kids. I'm not sure if this was an ownership change or what, but whoever is in charge

$10 for unlimited play on all of the regular games, and $.50 a play for the pinball machines. Lots of fun for our small group, and they have snacks and drinks available too. The only wait time was for the pinball machines. We enjoyed our time here and will be back!

Man, I love this place we drive from OKC just to come play here. I believe you must teach the younger generation about the arcades of the 1980's. This was so much fun. We had the pizza, adult drinks, cheese sticks, pinball and little jukebox tunes. Also close to the end of the night the game warden (owner) of the place came out to play with the crowd. This man can play some street fighter. Has a mean corkscrew piledriver from the Russian Tornado. I even got to show him a trick with Honda. Although I

We had a fantastic time here. The entry price is more than fair and the selection of games to play is staggering. Many of these are what started my lifelong love for video games and are a must-play for anyone getting into gaming. Thanks for keeping these classic machines going!

Super cool place. Plan on spending many hours here and having a good time.

Had a great time, they have a great variety of machines to play even some for 4 people to play at once.

Kids loved it, so did us parents. Great atmosphere

The Arcade is an amazing experience, transporting you back to your childhood! With over one hundred games and pinball machines to choose from, you will always find something to play, no matter the size of crowd. Looking for a creative birthday or holiday gathering? The Arcade has you covered. From Time Pilot to Track and Field and beyond, my afternoon flew by last time I was there. Check it out today!

Was in recently and did not want to leave! So many old school games, some I've even forgot about like Primal Rage and Carn Evil(which two kids were hogging it up, couldn't blame them) Love the wide selection of pinball machines and the live feed screen so everyone around can actually see what's going on during play! Well worth the price oh and forgot to add the last level in Pac-Man in its own cabinet was sweet and oh so tough ??

They have unlimited play or pay 50 cents for pinball and a few other games...no need to do unlimited play. Full bar as well a d huge outdoor area. Parking available and plenty of street parking.

Courteous! Only 10 dollars a person for all day? Sold! So many classics! Had so much fun on date night feeling like a kid again! Loved area 51 and kicking my husbands butt on mortal combat. The staff was so much fun and the other players were very courteous!

Great flashback to the golden days of mall arcades. Perfect blend of 80's and 90's arcades and modern pinball machines to experience all over again! Felt like I was ten years old again. Thank you!

Fun, but price is a bit on the steep side to play games.

What a fun place! There is an excellent selection of games. It is laid out well so that it is very apparent which games are free play and which ones require tokens (which is a small number of the overall games: pinball, skeeball, and Mario Kart). The staff is helpful and attentive. The food is not the main attraction but it's decent and fairly priced. Great place for kids and adults alike to enjoy an outing.

Really upsetting!! Used to be the spot. Until they moved locations. Now full of mid-40 hipsters who just want to get drunk. Can't even bring my brother in on his birthday because he's not over 21. We just wanted to play Gyruss. Lmk when we have ?The Arcade? back.

I never review places but just have to talk to the older crowd my age and tell them to get off the couch and get in here! I had so much fun reconnecting to the teenager in me that forgot what anyone thinks or how I am supposed to act and let my hair down and played until I worked up a sweat!!! I laughed and got frustrated and had more fun than I've had in years! If you are dismissing this place because you are too old for this sort of thing, you are mistaken! Get in here!

Great way to spend some time with the kids and still have fun ourselves. The owner was very welcoming and entertaining even though it was pretty busy. Our kids loved playing X-Men as a family and are already asking when we can go again. Looking forward to getting a chance at Paperboy next time :)

Always a blast to spend time at The Arcade whether your playing pinball on their rad selection of machines or perfecting your high scores on a hundred vintage video games. They have a fantastic happy hour if you're wanting to chill on a cool patio and delicious pizza to go with your drinks! So much to make you and your friends/family laugh and enjoy a fun time.

First time visiting and arrived just as they opened on a Thursday afternoon. The facility is really nice and clean. Plenty of seating and TVs to watch. Having an opportunity to play video games from back in the day was an absolute blast. All the games worked as they should. The only part of our experience I would not recommend is dining there. The wait staff was very attentive but the bar food was very subpar for the price and compared to other options in the general vicinity. Gas station (Hunt Brother

Love it, super retro. Fun! Awesome food and drinks! Definitely going back

Husband and I went here to enjoy some games on our anniversary and it was amazing! We spent several hours here playing arcade games, pinball, and giant Chess. The drinks are good and a reasonable price. We both shared a Pac-Man themed fishbowl. We definitely plan on coming back in the future!

We celebrated our son's 30th birthday in one of the Arcade's party rooms with family and friends. The pizza, food and drinks were good. The server and the service provided was great. Everyone had a blast! I would highly recommend the Arcade for a good time hanging out with friends and family.

I can't say enough great things about The Arcade. The games are so fun, the price is reasonable, the food is excellent (the pizza is stellar), and the drinks never disappoint. My favorite drink is the Gin and Sonic, and favorite food option is the Sonic the Vegg-Hog Pizza. Isn't that adorable? The bar is designed to look like Donkey Kong and there are old music videos playing next to sport games on the overhead TVs. Even the bathroom has some movie posters from the 80s/90s on the wall. There are also over

Great place to go by yourself or with friends. Play all old video games and pin ball machines. There's seats, there's drinks, there's atmosphere.

Went for my 54th birthday party, now I'm ready to relocate and work there full time (I wish). Friendly staff, tons of retro video and pinball games. Very family friendly. Great drinks at their full service bar, and their food was awesome.

Amazing place to visit in Wichita!

Extremely disappointed. We have been regular customers at the Arcade since it opened on Mead Street. Many times we have enjoyed the fun of the games but now that there is bar inside, even if you already paid earlier in the day, you can not return after 9 with your kids. We still had our wristbands. Because we went to dinner and came back we were asked to leave when we returned. We were told because we were not physically in the building at 9 we couldn't come back in because it is the weekend. At first we wa

My son had his birthday party at The Arcade today. We rented it out before business hours, so we had the whole place to ourselves. All the games but the pin ball machines and the super big Pac Mac game were on free play. They have all the games I remember playing as a kid. The staff working our party was very nice, and super accommodating. She pulled an extra table out so we could put all the food on it and was quick to help us with any questions we had. My son, his friends and our family had a really fun t

Love coming here with my family and friends Well, recommended.??

The company I work for had a Christmas party here. That was my first time I'd gone there and I must say, it's pretty fun! They've got tons and tons of classic and modern arcade games! The atmosphere is great! We had wings and gator tots and they were fantastic also the drinks are worth trying as well! Will definetly go back again. 5 stars for the arcade!

It is a GREAT arcade, fun, classic arcade games. Not to mention that the entrance fee to access the arcade is only 15$, compared to some other arcades, like round 1 or Dave n busters, it's an AWESOME deal!!!! The workers there are epic, they are SUPER helpfull and just chill in general. The pizza is also like, really, REALLY good!! 10/10 BEST ARCADE EVER!

Frequently Asked Questions

What’s it like visiting an arcade today?

It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.

Is it better to go alone or with friends?

Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.

What should I bring to an arcade?

Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.

What’s the best time to visit an arcade?

Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.

Can I meet new people at arcades?

Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.

Are arcades still just for kids?

Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.

Are there events or tournaments I can join?

Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.

What if I’m not great at arcade games?

No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”

Are pinball tables still good in this modern age?

Yes, pinball tables in arcades remain a blast. Their hands-on, skill-driven gameplay delivers a thrill digital games can’t match, blending nostalgia with modern flair. Newer tables from Stern and Jersey Jack feature LCD screens and themes like Avengers or Stranger Things, keeping things exciting. Arcades are seeing a pinball resurgence with vibrant scenes and tournaments like IFPA events drawing crowds. Though less common than video games, pinball’s tactile charm and community vibe make it a standout arcade experience in 2025.

Are retro games in arcades still good in this modern age?

Absolutely, retro games in arcades remain a thrilling draw in 2025! Classics like Pac-Man, Space Invaders, and Street Fighter II offer simple yet addictive gameplay, blending nostalgia with timeless challenge. Modern arcade cabinets often feature crisp displays and restored controls, enhancing the experience. These games thrive on quick reflexes and strategy, with vibrant pixel art and iconic soundtracks that spark joy. Arcades host tournaments and leaderboards, fostering a lively community. While modern games dominate, retro titles provide a unique, accessible thrill that keeps arcades buzzing.
