So this is going to be long. I bought a computer from them 10 damn years ago. I can't believe it has been that long. It was liquid cooled, gaming cube compact but my god has it lasted this long is beyond me. Sure I don't have the hottest 4K video super duper resolution and all my specs these days are mid. It was however my travel computer it has been to 40 freaking states, been abuse shaken smacked around in hotels etc. I have added another hard drive and did upgrade the video card along the way, but

Needed some soldering work done on an old Sea Doo Display Gauge. Removed old LCD screen and installed new one. Work was fantastic and quick. Will be returning for sure.

Had a very alarming issue with my gaming pc they were able to quickly and thoroughly sort out. The young man at the desk was very helpful, explained the issues, and recommended a range of cost effective solutions. He also explained the repairs on pickup. This place reminds me of the quality privately owned businesses in the small town I grew up in. From the design of the shop, to the stellar customer experience and product selection, there's something here for everyone. They have dozens of arcade classics on free play, and the tournaments for games are always well run and a real joy in a world that feels bleak.

Great customer service, very knowledgeable. Will go to this store for PC parts so long as I live in Columbia SC. Worth noting that they have a "maker's lab" area that you can use with soldering irons, a 3D printer, and other tech supplies. I used it while working on an Arduino project. The staff helped a lot and have very reasonably priced parts in their inventory (especially considering it's a brick and mortar store). I bought multiple microprocessors and sensors here.

Some people go their entire lives wondering if they make a difference, the folks at That Computer Store don't have to, they make the lives of anyone who walks through their doors better everyday. Not a computer store by any means you should change your name to the DND and collectable store thought I had found a good place to build a rig but no 1 mother board and 1 quart of coolant on the shelf made up the selection of computer parts

Had an incredible experience at this location. Best computer repair service I've ever received. Was able to walk right up to the counter and was serviced immediately. Didn't have to wait days to get my computer back. The technician figured out the problem replaced the component and sent me off with my now working computer. Will never get computer services anywhere else in Columbia.

This review is for their gaming side specifically. The staff here is great and extremely friendly, they handle local card tournaments better than almost any other shop around. They aren't the biggest shop so they don't get a ton of supply but they're great about holding what they can for events so that players actually get product in hand. Fantastic place, the atmosphere is very pleasant. I had the screen go out on the laptop my wife uses for school the week before Christmas 12/19/21. When I dropped it off they were about to start a 40k Warhammer campaign. Everyone was friendly and having a good time. They got right on the repair and had it fixed by 12/24/21. I am very impressed and will continue to use them in the future.

Bought a used CPU cooler on eBay that was missing one of the thumb nuts. Brought the hardware in and the man working the counter helped me find an extra from his collection within a minute. They had a nice selection of aftermarket parts on the wall. Would recommend and would definitely come back.

Brought my laptop in for some fan issues a couple days ago. I told them that I thought the fan was broken, and was expecting to have to pay for a new one or some repairs. Great people at this store especially Ben. Called up and they were able to provide a set of RAM for me for a good price. They were able to help get our server back up and running and I am thankful. Great experience and super helpful. Pricing is good as well. They build the tax into their costs so you pay for what you see. Can't recommend this store enough.

Joined in on a launch party being held here a few months back (WoD) and my friends and I all agree that it was absolutely awesome. Wonderful atmosphere with staff that was more than willing to guarantee a successful evening. Strong computer builds, hard-to-find snacks and drinks (Bawls energy drinks, anyone?), a plethora of games to choose from, and reasonable rates. Highly recommend and will be going back!

They had excellent staff in person, but I dropped off my computer for an overheating problem, didn't have to order any parts, but it took a week. Also I received no updates until I called, received updates that entire day and then none after. When I got my computer back the keyboard wasn't put back in place properly and was lifted in the corner. Now I have to open it up and put it in place. I want to love this place so bad, but it's hard when the service is sub par.

That Computer Store is the best. I came in today totally freaking out because I couldn't get anything on my monitor. Stephen was quickly able to show me how I didn't have the cords plugged in correctly. Totally saved the day. I cannot say how nice these peeps are...definitely would recommend.

The staff here are incredibly knowledgeable, honest, and personable, their prices are either the same or lower than major brands like Best Buy, and they will keep you updated on every step of the process with whatever issue you may have. This was a really fun experience. Even with some minor technical difficulties in the beginning I had a blast! Decent selection of games on the PC's. There are consoles to play as well! And if you're a fan of tabletop gaming they usually have aome very active people it seems. I would give this place a go! $4 for an hour, or $15 for the entire DAY! Excellent staff!!! very nice polite and knowledgeable. I know this is a computer store but They repaired my cars transmission control board. Which is pretty much a mother board in a computer and my car is shifting like new again. I recommend their services to everyone.

I called in asked could a second vga card be installed on pc. He asked that I bring the pc in to review. After reviewing I didn't need a second vga card installed. The technician recommended a vdi to vga adapter. Tested and it resolved my issue. I was so ecstatic. Very knowledgeable and tested the system before I left to ensure it worked. I recommend that computer store for all computer and gaming needs. Prices are reasonable.

Unethical business. I paid $50.00 to diagnosis my 7 year old laptop in July 2021. I then paid an additional $176.00 to have the keyboard replaced. I noticed some of the keys were slightly sticking as soon as I brought the computer home. All keys were operable but the sticking keys impeded me from typing fluently. You know I was told this place has the best tacos in town and I tell you this, I was not disappointed. From the fresh made guacamole to the made in house corn tortilla chips and taco shells, this will be an event of a life time. Also they do a phenomenal job repairing computers. My home away from home and second family. The Miano Family ( the owner ) is very accepting and down to earth all be it in a very geeky way. Their store is a pillar within the Hobby and Geek community within the Irmo/Harbison area. I emailed them at 10:20 something at night to see how much it would be to get my gaming computer looked at and repaired at their shop, they responded after I sent them an email in two minutes( which was really fast) and they said the initial diagnostic is 50$ which is really good for me since I am only a 17 year old kid
