From out of town so it was our first time here. Employees were helpful and friendly even though it was packed. This is not something that seems to happen much anymore, so when it does, it's that much more pleasant. The bowling and arcade were a lot of fun, but I'd have to say the most surprising was the food. Excellent. Wife and kid had an amazing time. Well done, TenDown.
We did not bowl; we were simply there to eat, and we will definitely be making this a regular stop on our way up or down I-5. The food was amazing! Service was amazing! And, the prices were really low, especially considering the quality of the food.
We had a great experience. The food was a little pricey and I'd say almost everything was a little over cooked. But we liked it well enough. The ranch dip was very good. The bowling game was fun and the price was right for that. The place was so very busy there was wait lists for the lanes and also the leagues were there towards the end.
Great family environment, great staff. Delicious food and drinks. Over all was thrilled with my visit
Great food and fun. I can't wait to go back!
Had a blast, will for sure return.
We were there for a company Holiday Party, it was a lot of fun!
50% of the games in arcade did work. Most of the time my fully loaded card would not be accepted by games. Some of the game like the clown knock down didn't have enough balks in it to play. Won't return to this arcade.
Friendly staff, played a couple of games and then went to the arcade. It was a decent time.
Fun place for kids and adults. Good food. Nice arcade and bowling.
Place was fun and clean. The kids had a blast. All the equipment seemed to be working well.
This bowling alley is so cool. They have a great arcade and design. Customer service is good and the price is right. Fun settings and just offers a great overall experience.
They don't have a full bar. Nor do they have any pool tables. Arcade cabinets, beer and of course bowling.
We had my son's 10th birthday here. He had the best day ever!
Professional and friendly staff. Nice family atmosphere and good food.
It was pouring down rain and our youngest girls birthday and Josh went above and beyond to help the whole group today! Thank-you!!
Super fun bowling experience. They have a lot of lanes and the balls are all made to look like pool balls with the number corresponding to the weight of the ball. I'd never seen that before and thought it was a clever and convenient theme for them. There is a small arcade section with a decent selection of classic and new games to choose from. I didn't order any food from here, but what I saw looked good and the menu had a nice selection. I will be visiting again.
Took my bosses kids here for a fun day out. Two different styles of lanes, and we opted for the Splitz Lanes, which have couches, tables and black lights. There are fun animations that play on the screen after each frame, and the environment was comfortable. We went before 5pm, so it cost less than if we would have arrived after 5pm. We did notice that it does get busier towards the 6pm-8pm hours, so if you want to go during those times, I would reserve a lane online earlier in the day.
My wife and I decided to bowl a couple games, but I popped a rib somehow and had to stop after the first game, they refunded me the amount for the second game. Will definitely go there again to bowl and probably try some of there food as well.
We had a wonderful evening of good food and fun.
The bowling is fantastic and the arcade is so fun, but what is even better is the restaurant where you don't even have to venture outdoors to get to. A perfect place for enjoyment of the whole family. Try my fave game the ring toss while you're there!
The food is good and the games are fun friendly staff everything is great there lots of fun the only reason I give a 1 star is due to the fact that there are quite a few games there that you will put your points into that don't work and then you lost your points that you could?ve made more points on at the game. Or the game doesn't work and you lost your points because the worker refuses to go over and fix it immediately when they're just standing there waiting for people to come up to them. They could defi
Great family friendly establishment
Great bowling establishment! Owner/proprietor Bryon Smith is a class act!!!
Family fun entertainment in a clean and friendly enviroment.
The sweet potatoe fries with their fry sauce was so good!, very pleasantly suprised. staff was quick, attentive and polite. Sunday wasn't overly packed but I'd say busy. My ball got stuck a couple times but pins falling or rolling another ball dislodged it pretty quick. Over all good experience ??
It was an amazing experience. Great social life wonderful food and drink
Hadn't been here in a few years, went in and sat at the bar for a drink. There were 2 other patrons at the bar. There were 6 staff standing and talking on the side of the bar and I had to wave one down to serve the lady next to me who had been there longer than I had. Took almost 10 minutes to get a simple drink with numerous staff standing around. I left after that and didn't even eat.
A great place to have family fun.
Ten Down is a fun place to spend some time and take the kids. In addition to a bunch of lanes, they have a big arcade area. They serve food and drinks, including cold beer. A fun, kid friendly place. Although it is a bit on the noisy side, as you might expect.
Some of the games were out of service, kids had fun anyways
Worst place ever we drove 30 miles to take the kids bowling got here they said there was a waite for a lane so put my name down then ordered pizza 45 min later i walk up and asked if there wete lanes yet they saod they had 4 open my kids came up i told them again i wanted a lane as a guy walks up ask another lady for a lane she gave it to him then the guy tells me no lanes i could put you on a list i told him forget it 2 1/2hours later got our pizza id do 0 stars if an option was available monkeys could run
All the employees are extremely wonderful caring people I enjoy the time I spend at 10 down bowling very kind and courteous
There are plenty of lanes and they have multiple games you can play, which was my first time experiencing it. Definitely a place for the whole family and friends to enjoy.
The service was amazing.Very clean, great priced facility ??
The food choices were surprisingly varied, and then it was really good, too! Our 3 year old loved the arcade (Daddy liked it also), although a couple of the machines did not credit tickets correctly. Overall, the whole family had a GREAT time!
Food is great service was great and it wasn't even very expensive love it
Very fun up to date bowling alley with good food available and lots of bowling games to pick from and a full arcade.
We had our sons birthday party here in the cosmic bowl area. Didn't miss the party room at all! Great food and beverages. They've done a wonderful job updating the decor. It's a family owned business and one of our favorite places to support!
Everyone at Ten Down was very helpful and accommodating to the needs of our family. We had a great time and always do. I definitely recommend this establishment for anyone who has a small or large gathering. I've had both and have never been disappointed.
Good little bowling alley, reasonably priced, clean and open during the covid pandemic!!
The bartender was very rude, and his buddy Drinks are way to expensive. Very overrated place. Food was terrible.
Went for a Birthday Party today. Its the first time I have been there. Loved the layout. Two sides to bowl on, there pizza was good and I really liked the spinach dip with chips and then nacho fries
Great food, great drinks, great staff. Someday I'll break my PR of 114. I assure you. Cheers
Hit and miss, atmosphere is great.. even though it can get crowded. Food and drink... pretty decent, maybe a little expensive for what you're getting. Staff, they need to be trained up on handling on the spot issues. My family was there for cosmic bowling with a huge birthday party going on in the 2 lanes to our right, 5 lanes to the left of us open and our lane malfunctioning. I asked to be moved and was told 4 of the lanes were reaerved... but there were 5 open lanes. Instead of moving us they tried re
We had alot of fun. My Granddaughter loved it
Good clean family fun!! And great food and friendly service
Great place for date night or family fun. You can eat, drink, and play. Prices aren't that bad. Good place for parties. This last time I was there, there was 4 bday parties (including the 1 I was at) and still had room for more ppl to just bowl.
Taco Tuesday along with $5 hr Tuesday bowling. The staff is very polite and welcoming
As it is the only bowling alley in town... it gives a great experience without breaking the bank. 24 lanes of normally lighted with an Updated scoring interface that has interactive game selections that definitely entertain. They also have 10 lanes of blacklight bowling for those that want a more colorful experience. If you get bored bowling there is also a large arcade to satisfy you inner child.
Best bowling alley I have EVER been to. Clean. Fun. Great staff. Great food. Fun alternative games to pick from on the pin setters if you're bored. Huge facility. Makes me wish they had one just like this in my town.
10 down was a family friendly place with good food and fun games for my kids.
Our waitress was great! She offered me a Snickers candy bar for my grumpy friend. I accepted and it cheered up my friend, it was funny. Our food came quickly, was plentiful and delicious! I don't live in Roseburg, but I will go back when I visit.
Had a great post graduation celebration with some moms and dad's. Good food, drinks and friends!
The whole bowling alley was reserved when we went there on a Thursday night. We couldn't even bowl and the person up front even told us that the food would be super slow. So we just let the kids play in the arcade for a little while and got dinner somewhere else. Kind of disappointing.
Wonderful place for family fun if you're wanting to bowl, play games or throw a birthday party! Also great food and staff on the other side for family friendly or adult parties! HIGHLY recommend Splitz and Ten Down!
Really nice place to hangout
The Splitz Bar & Grille has a surprisingly large menu and all the selections are good. Typical burgers, pizzas, sandwiches, tacos, wings. All very good and reasonably priced. Can't forget their large selection of beers.
We read the website and paid for our party. It said if more than 8 where in the party to get a second lane. We only had 6 for my child's 10th birthday party. When we showed up to the lane a party that was already going on, they had taken up all the bar tables. After 30mins a party showed up next to us, they had 6 kids (under 6) bowling but it also included 18 adults not bowling. Those adults didn't care they added so many extra balls to the machine "each kid needs their own and a few extra" and kids where
Almost 1/3 of the games don't work. All the games use the card swipe instead of coins so my kids , 6 and 9, didn't realize that the broken games took money off their cards and gave them nothing in return. The night we were there it was very busy so it took a while before you could talk to someone, but once you did they were helpful and had a good attuitde. The food and staff were very good.
Clean, comfortable, can order food to your lane which is convenient, or enjoy dinner at the their sports bar. We had frequent problems with the ball returns every time we went, but staff was always gracious in resolving the issues...even when it happened 5 times in a single game. We like the options of classic bowling chairs/tables or the comfier couches. They also redid the arcade this year, it's much better now, and uses the digital card system to track money and tickets which could be used on a later vis
Haven't bowled in years so it's fun trying to get the MOJO back..we went with friends and wea all had a good time.
Their facility is pretty decent and they have fun events here throughout the year. I enjoy their french fries and ranch while I am hanging out here. They have a family friendly bowling area and a lounge bowling area that targets adult customers and serves alcohol. Their arcade area can be fun for younger children as well. Air hockey table too. Bar & Grill is attached to the bowling facility.
We bowled here tonight with our kids and grandkids. Bowling was fun and we decided to go ahead and get dinner too. Worst mistake ever!!! We waited for 55 min for our food. We ordered an appetizer that still hadn't come and food was ready so we declined it. Waitress said I can give it to you for a reduced price if you still want it. We agreed but we're charged full price anyway!! ?? We had sandwiches, burgers, wings and grandkids had Mac and cheese. Worst food I have had in a long time! I had a salad and the
Spend forever over at Splitz on a Friday night for the bowling alley to say their not going to sell anymore lanes even though it's 8:45 and the door says they stop sailing lanes at 9 yet are open till 10. chick was rude about it too.
Awesome Place great experience I went there for a school function with my son had a great time eating at the restaurant several times it's one of our favorite takeouts
Ty for opening up for are 1st graders it was awsome they had a blast
The bar has a nice tap selection. One of the best in town. The pizza is also exceptional. The rest of the food is average. Great place to watch a game, have a couple beers and pizza. The bowling alley part is decent also.
Always a great environment for hanging and making friends!
Always have a great time here. Not Much to do in Roseburg in the winter with young kids so we always come here. Food is incredible and we have a blast bowling.
The place was so unsanitary. The bowling balls were dripping in grease. Our food had black char on it and tasted like trash. The arcade was a absolute rip off. Multiple machines took money and then did not play. The lines were insanely long and bad customer service.
Amazing family time playing together
Ten Down has more than just bowling! There are lots of games where kids (and adult kids) can earn tickets for small prizes
Birthday party for 9 yr old son. Loved the Cosmo lights and Arcade!
Ten Down Bowling Alley located in the Roseburg area seems like a great place for social and competitive bowling. They have a very nice bowling lanes available, along with shoes for rent and house bowling balls. They also have a pretty decent arcade area. And birthday rooms, food concessions, and I believe there's a restaurant located on the premises also. The employees are all pretty nice, and helpful. Definitely a place to check out when you need some munchies and to throw a bowling ball at some pins!
Ten down is great place! Great food, drinks bowling and games. Lots of family fun awesome employees and management staff. Very nice place you won't be disappointed
I enjoy the set up, the new themed bowling balls. All in all a great place to go. I dont like that you pay for time instead of a full game and end up getting cut off in the middle of your game to have to go pay for more time.
Ten down doesn't care about league members. It's a sweat box as they have no ceiling fans and their owner doesn't want to run the AC "because it would cost an additional 500 bucks a month" during the hot season. They don't mop the lobby or clean the approach to the lanes and barely sweep so you'll stick often. Their lane machines consistently break down.
Was extremely disappointed when I took my kids bowling last night. There was one lane available, in the cosmic side... so $40. The accommodation was overwhelming.. There was a party there already In the lane next to us. They were coming on our side, used the whole table for their drinks and sodas. We used a back table and brought in chairs. It felt way to crowded and that sucked the fun out. This wont happen again!!
This place is a joke...we spent well over $100 couple nights ago...and shortly after 10pm, even though we had already paid for games they shut our lane down not even 3 turns into the game. I'm upset! This wasn't the first time this has happened either! A heads up at least would have been nice, would have been the respectful thing to do, right?!?
Fun place to hang out with family and friends. Got a bar for adults and a place for kids to play games. Have really good food there.
I bowled with Douglas High for three years and I had practice here at least twice a week and let me tell you, bowling was an incredible experience. Especially when the staff is personable and the food is amazing. Just don't eat with the hand you bowl with. Most importantly however, the layout of the lanes is amazing and the lanes are very modern and not aged and bumpy like some other alleys in the district. One of the best.
Totally disappointed. I arrived 1 hour and 45 minutes prior to closing time on a Friday evening. Multiple lanes open. I made sure to check the hours online prior to getting ready to go out. And my young son was super excited to go as well. We got there and were turned away. Employee at the front desk notified us they decided to close early. If that is the case, they should really evaluate posted business hours online. We do not go out much so when we do it's a big deal. It was a huge disappointment and when
Went here had a good time
The atmosphere was great and the drinks were too. The boneless wings were on point but don't get the nachos. The bowling was great and the bumpers easy to use for the kids.
While "part of a bowling alley and arcade" it is completely separate and you wouldn't know that they are combined. That all said, amazing food, they do nachos right.
Nice place although we had trouble with the lane resetting. The attendant moved us to another lane. It was very busy on a Saturday afternoon. The family loved it.
We used the Cosmic bowling. The alley we used didnt return the balls. I had to keep asking them to fix it. There werent many employees at the time we were there. I had to go looking for someone to help us. After 6 times I asked to be changed to a different lane. Still had problems. The nauchos we ordered didnt taste very good. We had bowled here in the past and really enjoyed it. As we left, I asked for a refund. He gave me the cost of the one game we played, but not the shoe rental. I asked why the alley w
It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.
Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.
Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.
Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.
Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.
Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.
Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.
No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
Yes, virtual reality (VR) games in arcades are a top attraction in 2025! Titles like Beat Saber and Half-Life: Alyx deliver immersive thrills with cutting-edge headsets, motion tracking, and responsive controllers. High-resolution displays and spatial audio create heart-pounding experiences, from slashing rhythms to battling zombies. Arcades feature multiplayer VR zones and tournaments, fostering lively communities. VR booths are regularly packed, proving their captivating, next-level gameplay makes them a must-try arcade experience.
Arcade prize games are a thrilling highlight in 2025! Claw machines, skee-ball, and ticket-redemption games like basketball offer a rush of skill and chance, with rewards like plushies, toys, or electronics up for grabs. Modern machines feature vibrant lights, digital scoreboards, and responsive controls, amplifying the fun. The lively arcade atmosphere, with cheering crowds and buzzing energy, makes every win feel epic.
