Customer Reviews

The team kept it CLEAN! the batting cage attendant was doing a great job. The prices for the baseball is decent for a fun family outing. The arcade games are a little pricier how the time you can actually place. I got humbled when I tried to hit a slow baseball today,.

I'm from Taiwan and so glad to see Taroko come to Houston! Exactly the same great quality compared to other franchises in Taiwan! We bought a card with 60 credits ($25 dollars), we had such a great time and spent a whole hour there while only consumed half of my credits. The batting cages offer different speed options (slow, 60, 65, 70, 80 MPH). 2.5 credit (about $1.1) for 15 balls. The price is reasonable, similar to what I saw in Taiwan (1 coin / game for 30 to 45 Taiwanese dollars) The ?perfect pitch?

Randomly came across this place on Instagram. I live in Porter and drove about an hour to check it out. The batting cages are great and have a baseball or softball option. The arcade area has a mix of racing and shooting games along with air hockey a normal table and then a curved air hockey table which I have never seen before. The electronic darts were also pretty fun as well as the basketball games. The perfect pitch game is pretty fun as well although I haven't thrown a ball in almost a decade. Did not

Great place for the kids. Will be back. The technology here is more advanced than what you see at your typical arcade spot. The batting cages are super fun and the batting simulator is a lot better than home run dugout in my opinion. The place is very affordable as well. You can go with $50 and have a couple of hours of fun with the kids.

Super fun date night spot! Really enjoyed the batting cages but our favorite was the darts. Even ordered a basket of tenders to share and it was yummy. Would really recommend for teens and adults!!!

So much fun. Everything was working and well maintained. The employees were great. Morgan was super helpful and helped us at every opportunity. I highly recommend Taroko

Loved the variety of activities: batting cages, throwing cages, darts, air hockey, bowling, basketball, racing games, and more! The staff was very friendly and helpful. Great for a date activity, as you get a lot of bag for your buck there. We'll definitely be back!

This spot was a lot of fun?though smaller than I expected. The arcade games were unique, with several I'd never seen or played before. It definitely caters to baseball fans, with plenty of batting cages and a small area for pitching. They do have a bar, but it's pretty limited, so don't expect a full drink menu. Aside from that, it was a fun experience overall.

This place is situated in the same strip as Main Event and wow, what a difference this is. We spent almost 3 hours in this place and could not spend the $100 we out on our card. The batting cages were fantastic, darts was awesome and we didn't even make it to bowling. Great value on all the games and events. The noise was not deafening and very clean! I'd highly recommend this to families looking to spend a day in AC while having fun with outdoor activities.

Friendly staff, great arcade games and batting areas. Great place to get out of the heat and have some fun.

Indoor Batting Cage with newer and more immersive arcade games. Batting cages have a pitcher on the screen that animates them throwing the baseball or softball. Cages range from 50MPH-80MPH. There are 4 cages for softballs, 2 of which are slow pitch lobs. Two Hittrax cages, pitching cages, 4 mini bowling lanes, and 9 basketball machines (five of which are large regulation sized and biggest in the US)

This is such a cool spot that just opened in Katy! The arcade games were awesome, and my husband and I had a ball! No pun intended! This is a great spot for a date night, guys night, girls night, and is kid and baby friendly. The staff is super nice and accommodating and everything is so c

Great little arcade. Batting cages/pitching. All kinds of great ride on arcade games.

This place is great, has so much potential! Place is new clean, big, lots of cages, great atmosphere and prices are super reasonable. We spent a couple hours there and still had tons of points on our card, we couldn't use them all. Great value. Now for the negative side. Even though they do have tons of cages, theya re all geared for older kids like kids who can hit 60+70+80 miles an hour. There was only one cage that was 50 miles throwing baseballs. They did have two very slow pitch cages for little o

Awesome place. Has softball and baseball batting cages ranging from 50,60,70 and 80 mph. Also a pitching cage that shows how fast you throw.

Great place for the kids to bat and pitch, fun games, cold beer and great atmosphere!

Great customer service. Disappointed that left handed hitters are limited to just a few cage options. Would be great if you all added the ability for left handed hitters to use a 50 mph cage.

My group had so much fun, the staff are super friendly and the arcade games are super high tech and immersive. Definitely will be coming back!

We don't play softball or baseball but the whole family still had fun. It is an upscale facility with different level batting cages and state of the art games.

I was skeptical on coming here due to kids being there But came here for a date night and we had so much fun Customer service was great , the vibe was great and they got drinks aswell If u want a chill date night where you're not spending bank this is the place

Very good entertainment space, you can bring your children to spend an afternoon. The price is also very reasonable

Had an amazing time, my group of 4 were stunned. The staff was friendly and very helpful. Will definitely be coming back!

This place is awesome and fun for everyone! You don't have to be a baseball geek to have fun here!!!

The baseball and softball was really good and the management is great

fun place, not a ton of food options though.

Excellent game room with batting cages!

very fun. i enjoyed batting a lot.

Nice, fun place and the prices are good

Very fun and clean staff friendly

Great place for a birthday party or to hang out

Shout out to Saige one of the assistant managers she helped me out!

Absolutely worth it!

on the smaller side but batting cages are fun!

Awesome place. Clean. Friendly staff. We've been here twice with ages ranging from 5 to 45. All the video games works properly and the group had fun playing darts, mini bowling, swinging in the batting cages, basketball, and much more. Chicken tender is moist and churros were yummy. Everyone had a blast. $1 batting cages (2 credits) on Tuesday and Wednesday from 11 to i cant remember the time.

Frequently Asked Questions

What’s it like visiting an arcade today?

It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.

Is it better to go alone or with friends?

Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.

What should I bring to an arcade?

Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.

What’s the best time to visit an arcade?

Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.

Can I meet new people at arcades?

Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.

Are arcades still just for kids?

Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.

Are there events or tournaments I can join?

Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.

What if I’m not great at arcade games?

No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”

Are retro games in arcades still good in this modern age?

Absolutely, retro games in arcades remain a thrilling draw in 2025! Classics like Pac-Man, Space Invaders, and Street Fighter II offer simple yet addictive gameplay, blending nostalgia with timeless challenge. Modern arcade cabinets often feature crisp displays and restored controls, enhancing the experience. These games thrive on quick reflexes and strategy, with vibrant pixel art and iconic soundtracks that spark joy. Arcades host tournaments and leaderboards, fostering a lively community. While modern games dominate, retro titles provide a unique, accessible thrill that keeps arcades buzzing.

Are virtual reality games in arcades worth playing?

Yes, virtual reality (VR) games in arcades are a top attraction in 2025! Titles like Beat Saber and Half-Life: Alyx deliver immersive thrills with cutting-edge headsets, motion tracking, and responsive controllers. High-resolution displays and spatial audio create heart-pounding experiences, from slashing rhythms to battling zombies. Arcades feature multiplayer VR zones and tournaments, fostering lively communities. VR booths are regularly packed, proving their captivating, next-level gameplay makes them a must-try arcade experience.

Why are arcade prize games so exciting to play?

Arcade prize games are a thrilling highlight in 2025! Claw machines, skee-ball, and ticket-redemption games like basketball offer a rush of skill and chance, with rewards like plushies, toys, or electronics up for grabs. Modern machines feature vibrant lights, digital scoreboards, and responsive controls, amplifying the fun. The lively arcade atmosphere, with cheering crowds and buzzing energy, makes every win feel epic.
