Visited for the first time to play laser tag and was pleasantly surprised. (Note that this review is for laser tag only and not the enclosed arcade or bounce house area.) The staff was friendly and helpful as well as professional. They were good with those of all ages. The playing area is big but not too big. It has a lot of area, but doesn't really allow you to get lost. Games last 7 minutes (I believe) each round which is a good amount of time. After each match you can see your number of kills and the
Had a fantastic time! The Laser Tag field was well put together! Definitely end of the world/Hunger Games layout! Highly recommend running the course at least once! I didn't do the bounce house side, but my 6 year old loves it so hey might be worth it if you want some parental wallflower time.
Best laser tag my family has ever played. Much cooler setting than the typical "black light maze" that most laser tag places have. There were a ton of scenarios you can play and the staff did not hesitate to customize them to our needs, and fix any problems we encountered. A really great value considering the amount of time and number of games you get to play! We will go back again next time we're in Williamsburg.
This past Friday, my colleagues and I had the distinct opportunity to participate in the laser tag event here at this establishment. Before I move on, I would like to say that I have been here before and it has been enjoyable in the past, but this time have been very much the opposite. It started out with the employee stating, "I hope you die" to one of our friends because of his account name, "djtrump" or something. If this was humor, it was quite a poor attempt in bad taste. The employee at the time w
Has a lot of potential but it took over 30 minutes to get the game started. The employee needed to be more aggressive in making sure people knew what was going on and how to operate during the game. Before we even started the game all I wanted to do was get it over with and leave. My wife?s gun quit working and they had to give her a refund.
This location was where we had my grandson's 7th birthday. Have to say I was impressed with the size and quality of the bounce houses and activities they had for the kids. They had special rooms set aside for enjoying cake and goodies, even helped you set up and clean afterwards. If you are looking for a place to have a kids birthday, then this is the place.
I have gone here a few times before; while the facility is okay, the employees are exceedingly arrogant and care little about providing a positive experience for the customer. As Mortimer said, they are more concerned about their own stats and k/d's when the play, as opposed to providing a fun, inclusive environment. At least one employee made insulting remarks toward a younger member of our group, and was more concerned with getting his own team to win than ensuring a fair game. Will not be coming back.
Very well organized to include instructions and training. Equipment was clean, serviceable and accurate shot groups. Staff adjusted teams and games to promote even wins. Seems to be a good fit for ages 8 to 50 with the younger crowd smoking their elders with big grins!
This place was awesome. Multiple game modes, nice guns and you only have to wear the headbands and no vest. The map was pretty cool. Attendant was very nice and helpful. - Jolene Decker NC 27909
Bad experience! The employee was very rude. I wanted my niece to jump for about 15 mins before they closed and the employee had an attitude. I asked her "how much?" She said, " i dont know." With a crappy attitude. How do you not know your prices......anyhow, i will not be returning. I wasn't going to hold anyone overtime. We knew that they closed at 8.
Price was cheap but so was the experience. We were told you get two 10min games. In reality you get two 5 min games, they include 5 mins of setup time for each game. Also make sure your gun and headband match to the right number. Mine were mismatched and I didnt get to play the first game as they tried to figure it out. Overall disappointing and would not go back.
Absolutely loved this place. I've been to multiple laser tag places on the eastern seaboard and never have gone to one where I got this quality in play for my money. Brad has a great thing going. Highly recommend this place to anyone in the area.
It was great made the reservation for the wrong location (state) but they where happy to help out they got us set up and rolling fast. My son loved his 10th bday. Cant wait to go back as a family and friend outing this summer
Really excited to go. When we arrived an hour before 8pm when they state is their closing time. It had already closed with I sign claiming they "reserve the right to close due to low volume." This is a tourist area I don't understand why any business would enact such a practice. I will not consider returni
Went here for our friends son's 13th birthday party. I had a blast playing laser tag. Very nice layout and plenty of different campaign modes to play.
Really fun, even though they just started up. Multiple gametypes; I recommend Headquarters. They have plans to put a second story to their field in the next couple of months, and put out new equipment. Can't wait to see how they make an amazing experience better!
Fairly expensive if you are new to it. Instructions were too short and vague. Guns weren't set properly - some had a crosshair, others didn't. Some guns were set to continuous shots others to single shot. Instructional video showed vests - actual equipment was a headband. ... As newbies we didn't get to practice before we had to use the expensive tokens for a real game.
Fun. Clean. Nice cool temperature on a super hot day. The kid at the snack counter was very nice and quick. I only worried about the casual security at the front door.
It was awesome and my sister and I had a great time even though we were beginners the instructions were easy to understand and the staff was very nice, I would definitely come back for more games...
This place has or had(not sure) a portsmouth location. My husband booked his sons 12th bday party there a month ago. Now 3 DAYS before his party they emailed my husband saying sorry we can't accommodate your party for unforeseen reasons can we Mail you the refund of your deposit??!!! Yeah sure mail it to us so it takes 3-5 days or more to get to us and we'll just tell him sorry no party now...he's been stoked about this and invited all of his friends and now they've ruined it!!! The portsmouth locations pho
Haven't been here before and Loved it the first time even though we went against experienced players, they changed the location but when we walked into the arena we were amazed and excited almost realistic and so much fun
We had a wonderful time! Would definitely return!! Staff were informative and courteous, and we, as well as our kids, had a memorable time. Definitely recommend them!
My daughter and friend went here. They loved it. It was a little pricey, but not too bad. The staff was super friendly.
Employees were rude. They brought politics and death threats into a laser Tag game. Such a shame, used to love going here.
Very great time. Power flicker because of a thunder storm so they comped us a few games. Will definitely be going here again
I thought the location did have good employees who knew what they were doing. However, they did not do a very good job enforcing the rules they set, even when a kid broke part of the map.
This place rocks!! I'm 42 years old and had a blast! Take your kids or your friends...you will have a great time!
Took my family here for some family fun, and that's exactly what we got. They have different atyles to the game and also some fun arcade style games.
always busy but kids have fun
It was a blast everyone had a good time!! Ages 4-40 We can't wait to play again!
Fun place to spend an afternoon. Lots to do, and located in the same shopping center as cici's pizza if the kids get hungry afterward.
Great time, great people. Definitely a hit stop for a Williamsburg tourist, no matter if you're fourteen or forty.
This game place is very well run and very inventive for how to play lazer tag. The price is pretty good too.
Great place, can't wait to play again. More realistic than many other places.
Awesome fun! The judge helped us. He's awesome! Ryan!
Super fun for all ages. The staff is very friendly.
Awesome! Best laser tag place I've been to.
This phone number is not correct. This is a private number not Tactical Adventure Games . Please don't call.
Good place for birthday parties if you're 5
Hot cow. We spent way too much time here but it was totally worth while. We got addicted.
Great experience for my 4 and 7 year old
Great place, decent prices. Good, helpful staff.
Looks good. Can't wait to try it out!!
I love winning, even if I'm against children...
Best laser tag I've ever been to
A little expensive for my taste, but the boys enjoyed it
Expensive but kids did have fun

It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.
Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.
Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.
Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.
Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.
Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.
Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.
No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
