There are two 18 hole miniature golf courses and they are magical. Even our 3 year old loved the little plastic paddle club and putting her ball in the holes. I'm not much for arcades, but we did purchase a few tickets and let the kiddos try some of the easier games. They had fun. The snack area what's cute, though we did not eat there.
Went to play mini-golf, they had two courses. Prices are high for what it is and you have to pay to play each course a new set of fees (or you can buy an all day pass for an even crazier price). The course was alright, you could tell it's an old course with no updates. Took my daughter to use the restroom in the arcade and well let's just say it left a lot to be desired. If you got extra I come to spend then give it a shot but there are much better options in the area for family fun and a better price. I c
I have a three year old and a ten year old. My toddler wasn't able to do much of anything because she was an inch too short. She wasn't even able to sit passenger. It made for a rough day trying to explain to my youngest why she couldn't go ride with her sister when she's used to riding with her everywhere else we've went. There's better options for younger kids. We won't be back
My kids had a really great time here! We came for a family friends birthday party and they all had a blast. There many different things for them to do from an inside arcade and play area to outdoors batting cages, laser tag, bumper boats, paintball, 2 put put courses and 2 go kart areas. They serve food and have a bar for the parents.
This isn't the swings n things I remember as a kid. While the staff was very kind, The wristbands for kids were $30 ($36 before 5pm) and it was didn't seem worth what we paid for. The golf course isn't that big and the equipment was sticky and needed to be cleaned off after it was given to us. There's a go cart course which my daughter enjoyed but we only did everything once. The arcade inside has a decent selection of games but you would think for a $30 wristband that that would include arcade tokens. It's
They now make you pay for everything at the one counter inside. Including the batting cages now. Only one person can do anything with purchases at their one register so you spend at least twenty minutes just for them to take care of three people. While three people stand at an empty counter only able to help with prize tickets. Only four cages are working right now so it takes a good minute to get a turn. When you do get a turn if you bought unlimited batting you have to wait for the attendant to notice you
I took my son here to celebrate the end of the school year and honestly, we were underwhelmed. The attractions are now mediocre at best and definitely not worth the exorbitant prices. That coupled with the ridiculously slow service (we waited 20 minutes for a microwaved pretzel), we likely won't be back. It's a shame that we can't share the same enthusiasm for Swings-N-Things we had growing up with our own children.
Zero star review for putt putt at night. Half and I do mean half of the lights either don't work or are actually broken. I only took pics on the last couple holes. It was terrible. You could hardly see what you were doing. Simply unacceptable. To make things worse I could not find a manager working at night to complain too to get some money back. We had a group of 10 and we will never come back.
Swings and things is such a fun place to visit for the whole family. It's got so many wonderful activities all packed into one. They've got the most amazing zombie apocalypse looking paintball course. They've got outdoor laser tag with a military theme, where you can hide in tanks and shoot the opponent. They've got two fabulous putt putt courses that look incredible. What I like about the putt putt is that it's partly shaded with the beautiful trees, so you're not dehydrated in the sun when it's beating do
My family visited recently and had an exciting afternoon here. My kids are 4 and under, so they loved the Kids Korner. It's nice that there is an indoor play area for them to run around. In the summer, there are a lot of outdoor activities to entertain everyone. I gave it 4 stars because the place is a bit dated. However, it was super popular and it looks like the attractions are attended to and kept clean. We'll be back!
We visited (this time) on New Year?s Eve 2024. Each kid was $20 and they could play unlimited games (selected ones) for the visit. Had a balloon drop with countdown at 7pm. We all had a blast! We've also been during the summer season with all the outdoor activities and I have no complaints. Nice to have a place that puts families first.
My kids absolutely love this place. The arcade is really great because the kids can actually win decent prizes, unlike Chucky Cheese where you spend $100 and they have enough tokens at the end to get a bag of cotton candy with card points combined. Swings and Things has some of the best homemade ice cream too.
Most of the arcade games have something wrong with them. To name a few examples: An air hocky table is missing a puck; the big ball claw price opening was not open when we won the ball so we were not able to get it; the skiballs are missing balls; some of the games will take your credits and not let you play. There was no one at the concession stands but you could see them bs'ing in the ice cream parlor as we left. The mini golf course not only needs an update but hole 8 on the windmill course eats your bal
Great place to have fun for all ages. My son really enjoyed the arcade and never wanted to leave the kids Korner. He wasn't tall enough to ride the go carts with me which was disappointing. They have outdoor batting cages, putt-putt, laser tag, paint ball and go carts. Overall great place to spend the day with family and friends
I was very disappointed in the workers at the go carts. They let kids on who you could tell had no driver's license. They allowed these kids to listen to their cell phones with ear buds. I have proof. Not very safe. These same kids kept rammimg into.others the workers saw it and never did anything about it. Bumper boats were great but there should be more then one worker there. It's sad so many workers had an I don't care attitude. Do they not realize the only reason they have a job is because of the people
Went to Swings-n-Things for some time in the batting cages with a special young fella. From the time I walked in the door, I thought I'd made a good decision. The young man at the first counter explained everything. It all aligned with what was on the web site????. He then directed us out to the batting cages desk where we where greeted by another wonderful staff person who got us signed up and headed to the cages to get some unlimited practice going. Once there we meet at summer youth worker who shared the
Went here with some family for my daughter?s 5th birthday! Although we didn't throw a party it was definitely a great time. She discounts for first responders!
My 6 year old had a blast. This is the first place I've been to where there was a go kart he could drive himself (48"+). There was mini golf, which was good enough for a 6 year old. Some holes were a bit rough but it was fun. There were plenty of activities indoors too. He particularly enjoyed mini bowling. Then ice cream afterwards capped the day off perfectly. I'd take him again if I lived in the area. The negative was: it was crowded with campers of other kids. This meant that chaperones were hard to co
We loved it! A new family favorite since my last visit. It's been a decade before having a family . Now a family favorite we can't wait to return. Staff was amazing and very knowledgeable . Giving all guests exceptional customer service while chaperoning my scholars school universal field trip. Thanks for your pleasant service and business .
My husband and I recently discovered this place while looking for some fun for the kids over the weekend. We went to check it out and we love it! From the go-karts to the arcade and mini golf. The kids love going there and I am completely in love with their ice cream! ?? Very affordable place to take the kiddos for some fun.
Diamond in the rough. Don't let the road construction deter you! Great little place to go for family fun. Not too expensive. Arcade and laser tag are a little outdated and could use a face-lift. Laser tag could even be made to be indoors and played year-round. Paintball too! Bumper boats, mini-golf, batting cages, kids' play area, events area, HOMEMADE ice cream (!!!), pizza, and even a Pavillion for corporate events. A new addition is a bar, parents! Yes, alcohol to help you survive the family fun. No liq
Had a great time gokarting for 6 hours with my church group. Thank you to Collin, Matt, and Michael for running the gokarts, being extremely friendly, and playing rock paper scissors ??.
A great place for kids and adults. We love taking our kids here for the arcade and playground in winter and then all the activities outside in summer. Even the putt putt is great for us adults. The staff is always friendly.
Swings and Things is designed for family fun. As a result, the park is not overly commercial. One plus of the park is the ticket policy. You purchase a ticket for each major activity rather than an excessive single, all attraction ticket. The major activities in the park are games, indoor play structure, minigolf, go-kart racing for those over 58" tall and beginners for those under 58", laser tag, and batting cages. My grandchildren enjoyed their afternoon.
Took our Crooked River Local Longhouse to the scout night last week. The outdoor attractions stayed open late (Go karts until 1AM, then everyone rocked out in the arcade until heading to the field where we had pitched tents..... even with a little light rain as we woke up, one's spirits were dampened!)
Came here for date night on a Saturday. Not too crowded. We only came for putt putt, so this review is for this only. Inexpensive to play, $9 per adult. They have two courses. Maintained pretty well. Leaves and mulch in places on the course, but it's outside so to be expected. I only wish they emphasized that large groups break up. There was a group of 7 in front of us, so we stood around a lot waiting for them to play. Have fun!
Very fun place! Ice cream is really good. Definitely family fun!
Pool was so dirty. It was black on the bottom. My son caught pink eyes from the pool. The boat die on me. It was a worst time. 300 dollars waste. I just was told the pool was not dirty.
Place was great 15 years ago as a kid not sure if ownership changed but it's definitely not the same.... Kinda disappointed I would spend my whole summer here with friends.
So much fun! Had a great afternoon. Spent about 3 hours there. Next time we will spend more time there. Everything was enjoyable. Staff are kind and helpful. Game room was a blast, wish I had more time. Couldn't use the batting cage because I had sandals on, so keep that in mind. Will definitely go back.
Went when the outside activities were still closed for the season. Inside was cool with plenty of games and a small play area. Went on a Sunday and maybe 5 people were there over our 2 hrs.
This place is always a blast, great price for the wristband. Nice little arcade with great prizes for sure fun for the hole family. We go here from Erie pa, and it's worth every mile on the drive.
Had a 12 year old birthday party here and he can't stop talking about it. Alot of different activities to keep the kids occupied. Staff was knowledgeable and very kind. Would highly recommend
This was Great!!! Our family had a blast ??! Staff was great!!! We Loved Erin??From the bumper boats to the batting cages Erin was working her tail off with a smile! Very Good at what she does????????
Firstly, I had one of the best days ever at the park with my nephews and father! Secondly, the staff is solid. When we got back to the car to find that the key has been left in the ignition, and our car was dead! When I asked for help, a staff member (Conor D.) met us outside and jumped my dad?s car. He even provided the jumper cables!
This place was disgusting and expensive. It was dirty and old. Most of the games took money and didn't work. It was dead in there and the staff was very attentive and helpful but the overall experience is lacking. We will not be back. It was kind of sad compared to how great it once was.
Loved this place, the putt putt golf is fun for all ages, reasonably priced, the indoor games are a good rainy day fun place and the go karts are super fun!!
I booked my son birthday party here and i definitely have mixed feelings about our experience. Our hostess didn't serve our food or our drinks to us. It was left on the table for me to distribute. I waited 30 minutes to get wristbands. The people that work the front desk ignored me forever. The young teenagers that are working have disgusting attitudes. I know it can be alot working with children all day but if you can't be pleasant please find some where else to work. The eye rolling I experienced was over
We love coming to Swings -N- Things to play mini golf in the summer! My kids and I have been coming here for years and we'll always return! So many options to choose from for a fun family outing!
Chris and Zach were a pleasure to work with and the kids couldn't be happier with their new hoop! Scholarships here we come!
Came here yesterday and I must say it's been years since I've been here. A lot of positives to this place. A lot to do! Batting cage, bumper boats, games, go karts, laser tag and mini golf. Paintball is extra and will cost extra, this is the only issue I had. To buy passes is already around 60 a person. Paintball plus equipment is extra. I feel like this should be included in the package. About a quarter of the popular games didn't work. The ones that did was fun. The mini golf wasn't as nice as I remember
Swings N' Things is an excellent place for a birthday party!! There got batting cages, mini golf, go-karts, an arcade, paintball, a bar, homemade ice cream and pizza!! There's so many activities which makes it a blast for kids!!
Overall good place to visit! The staff were nice. We got to do their mini golf, outdoor laser tag, bumper boats, and the arcade. You can tell they are continuing to keep their facility up to date. We will go back!
I went to this place back in October 2021, and it was good. The people there are polite.
I returned here with my 6th grade nieces. The last time I went, I was in high school. It's still very fun. Very affordable. The staff were very nice and helpful. There are little go carts for smaller kids and a bigger track for those 56 inches or with valid drivers license. I think they had to be over 18. The larger track also had double cars for an adult and child ( ones under the 56 inch rule). They did keep safety in mind on all rides. The bumper boats are a good example. There's so much going on that th
Went this weekend and had a lot of fun. My review would have been 5 stars. Usually it takes a lot to earn a lower than 3 star review from me, but at the end of the day, we were about to get back on the Grand Prix for the last time, and the Area Manager said our nephew was not tall enough to ride, even though we had ridden 6 other times that day. Quite frankly, I am not really upset by us not being able to ride, if he is too short, he is too short. It's the fact that the employee IMMEDIATELY took a tone with
For just me and my son, it was 80 bucks, and that is the ride and play wrist band. Kinda steep just for go karts and put putt, laser tag needs updated . We don't ride the bumper boats as we seem a bit too big for them. I remember it was lower at one time, and the price just went sky high for the same thing with no updates or repairs to the site as a whole. You gotta invest in upgrades and fixes for this place, the ice cream parlor windows were all closed so you had to go inside, but by then we were done for t
My party of 9 were in the go karts near the end of the night. There were 3 people in line. There were enough carts for the people waiting to use with us. I was told that we needed to get out and do the line again. I told the manager this and he said "we have been doing it for 30 years." Make it make sense. Don't know if I'll come back. The place seems to be running downhill.
This family fun park had something to offer for everybody. We went paint balling, hit the batting cages, bumper boats, and played some mini golf. The kids loved the arcade. GO- carts was the best attraction. Food was sub-par. There is room to improve here. Eat before you arrive. Free parking.
Ill give them 5 stars because they have a nice beautiful facility and the people that work here were very nice and helpful but it seemed like it was only for little kids which my friend didn't tell me so keep that in mind when going. I can take my little siblings up here and they'll have a good time but for me I'm not 10 years old anymore so it wasn't for me. They had concession snacks ?? tho, I did enjoy a nice soft pretzel
Enjoyed a warm day with Ben in the batting cages. Appreciate the openness and price for kids in early March.
Nice place! Just went there for our company picnic. Kids loved it, I had fun, ice cream was good and the paintball arena looked awesome!
Had my sons 11th birthday party here today! What an amazing stress free experience!!! The staff was awesome! And our party coordinator, Abby was the best!!! Made sure we had everything we needed or wanted!! Thanks guys for making my sons party a stress free and fun experience for all!!!
We had a private event world was only us it was definitely fun the only drawback was the amount of games that were allowed for us to play in the arcade
My husband and I took three of our grandchildren to Swings and Things on Friday at 5pm. We all had a wonderful time. My grandchildren had so much fun! I definitely enjoyed the atmosphere of the place in general, and will be returning real soon. The young man at the admissions window was awesome. I wish I could remember his name. He was there 7/7/23 at 5pm. He was so polite. That really amazed me that all the young people working there are so nice and polite. I love that place, and cannot wait to return
Went there for my wife's birthday. Played both courses and enjoyed every hole.
Great family fun. Prices are reasonable. Nice mini golf and laser tag set up. But the yummiest thing to get is the homemade strawberry ice cream!
We brought an after hours group and had an absolutely fantastic time! The staff was helpful and courteous. There was a light rain but they kept the go karts open for us. At first I was told each person would have 30 minutes free at the arcade, but when I got there they said we each had four hours- the entire length of our rental. There was more than enough for our teens to do between the go karts, batting cages, mini golf, arcade, and eating area. The go karts were faster than other places comparative place
This is a great place for family with children. Lots of fun stuff to do including mini golf, go carts and an indoor arcade. This place also has paintball.
This place is just okay. They have many different activities but they lack in customer safety and service. I have an elementary school child so I've been to these types of places all over the country. My go- kart experience was terrible. Kids were bumping in to other cars while racing the track, I told the employees and they did nothing- they told me to keep racing and did nothing to prevent anyone else from getting bumped. They did manage to rescue a cell phone that somehow landed on the track. So thank go
EDIT/UPDATE...Owner reached out and was very apologetic about the situation. He offered to make it right, but I don't live in the area. Still appreciate the offer from him. Updated my stars from 1 to 3. Would give 0 stars if I could... Visited yesterday for my son to ride on the kid go-karts for the first time ever. The person running it "flips the switch" for their "safety audio,"(which was flipped right before he walked onto the track) which my son wasn't able to listen to while trying to figure out ho
The people at the counter seemed angry about life and didn't really take much pride in what they do. Putt putt course was nice but the employees were not. Unattended putter seemed strange too. We made the most of it ????
This review is for the batting cage experience. Last year I bought a season pass for the batting cage and each time we wanted to use it the attendant was not around to turn the key for the machine and seemed annoyed whenever we found them to turn the key. The key would need to be turned for each round of 15 pitches and then the cycle of finding an attendant begins again. After trying to use it on 3-4 different occasions we finally gave up and ate the cost. This year we decided to eliminate the need for the
Went For putt putt which was fun And the course was not bad.
Fun place for family and friends, family atmosphere, they have go carts, putt- putt, swimming, laser games, it's just a fun place for the family, price is reasonable. All I say is my wife and I had fun ??, need to go early if you don't like it wait to long.
Had a great time with my 4 year old. The employee Kylie was a total sweetheart and helped my daughter in the game room/play area.
Weekends are very crowded. Get there when it opens. Putt-Putt ? golf was very crowded. It was 4 people deep if you wanted to play(about a 15 minute wait). Everything else was open and about a 5 minute wait for everything else. Overall, it's a fun place to go. Fun for everyone in the family.
Husband & I played put put with a butt load of little kids playing thru, I had to straighten them out. Zero supervision. The number of little ones (camp groups) will prevent me from going back. Looked forward to a beer afterwards, bar was closed. Could not make our exit fast enough.
I took my 2 boys ( 7 & 11) on 8/19/19. We used a Groupon and our all day play pass was roughly $15/child. I also added $20 to each child's arcade card. They had an absolute blast! For $5 more , you can do unlimited batting cages and my oldest was in the cage for almost an hour straight ( no one was waiting for it, very low crowd day). During the week from 3-6, arcade games are 50% off, that's a great deal!!! The bar area sells air-fried chicken tenders, which tasted great, and the bartender was an older , f
I was very unsatisfied with my visit here today!!! We purchased 4 paintball tickets online only to arrive and be told that they closed Paintball due to business being slow. The employee who was working the area prior to our arrival stated he would reopen the area if management allowed. Which he didn't but the manager did switch our tickets over to a different package. there was so many things that came up, discrepancies im the information printed and what was stated at the different areas. I purchased a
Finally the sun started coming out and we had the warmest weekend this year so I decided to take the kids to swings n things and I'm very glad that we came out. The kids had a blast! My wife and I had an amazing time as well. We rode the go karts, got each other wet on the bumper boats and played around in the arcade. Definitely worth checking out. Only $25 for unlimited karts and bumper boats as well as mini golf.
Best experience ever! This was my first visit and all the staff was very polite funny and super cool!
Go karts are all in need of a tune up and they make up rules as they go without telling you so you can't trust the rules they state. Also and electrical hazard I found
I rarely get to do this and I am delighted to say that I have not experienced the level of professionalism I received at Swings-N-Things in a very long time. The leadership there honestly blew my mind for being a business that caters to children. The grounds were very clean, the employees were extremely attentive and respectful, and the supervisor and manager were wonderful to speak with. A supervisor asked for There may always be a place more exciting, bigger thrills, etc. But I am confident you will not
Had a good time in the glow party room for a friend's child's birthday party. The worker was very attentive and the kids had a blast.
We went with our family which included middle school, high school, and college students. We had a great time on the go carts and putt putt. A nice afternoon together. Connor at the ticket counter was very helpful and explained all our options. GREAT FAMILY FUN!
Came here for my son's bday party. Fun atmosphere. Gaming area is a little cramped. But the food was good. A but pricey for what it was. The staff was very friendly and accommodating.
I've been there twice this year and wish it was more. It's a great value to kill some time and have some fun with your kids. The ice cream is really good and so are the snacks. I went to this place when I was a teenager to play video games so coming back hits me with a lot of welcome nostalgia. My daughter loves getting prizes with the tickets you can win from the games, overall good spot.
So unfortunate that they raised their prices so much. My husband and I were shocked at the pricing! Theyre charging cedar point costs for bumper boats, put put, and go karts that my kids arent even tall enough to drive alone. And that didnt even include the batting cages. More like "unaffordable" family fun. I felt sick about how much we spent, $255 on wristbands, and that was WITH the online "discount". Its $49 for an adult wristband. ?? Its honestly price gouging. Ended up not even getting the kids sundae
Very disorganized. Was cut in front of as an employee watched. No one at the golf window. Waiting for ice cream crammed together like sardines and masks were not enforced. Clean the games.
We took the kids, it was the first time I was there in at least over 10 years. They had an absolute blast. So did I! It was a fun time driving the go karts and bumper boats. It was nice to go in the batting cages and take a few swings for the first time in forever! The pizza and the homemade ice cream were both really good! Across-the-board everything was great!
This is not the same family experience it used to be. We scheduled a birthday party for our grandson. The miscommunication SNT staff has was ridiculous. We were quoted a little over $300 for the party but it ended up costing over $500. Someone was still in our room so they had to find us a place for our party, no big deal but then since our party started 30 minutes late too bad. They took our drinks and threw them away to get the room ready for the next group. (we were still in the room with them) they did
I remember swings and things when they first started, and now having waited a few years before visiting again I was totally bowled over at what a beautiful, clean, family oriented, and fun place this really is! I ended up playing miniature golf with my granddaughter, and you just couldn't help but notice how just being on that little golf course made you feel like you were in the tropics or in Florida or in some other beautiful location. If you look carefully you'll see a lot of great eye candy, not to ment
We did enjoy the go karts, mini golf and batting cages but alot of the games in the arcade ate our money or didn't work good. Should update those games. The staff was nice and helpful. Definitely need more hand sanitizing stations only saw one thought-out the park. The go karts were sanitized before each turn so I was glad about that. Overall we had a good time.
This place is actually super rad. I went with a small group of mid 20 year old and we had a blast. Small bar in the back is cool, batting cage machines are finicky but get the job done. Big shout out to Mike the batting cage and mini golf attendant, he's the man
Buy ur wrist bands in advance for the save $
Chris & team are always so warm and welcoming. We had a great time on this rainy day. Tons of good prizes. Finished off the day with a delicious scoop of icecream.
Although our family had fun there is a lot to complain about. First there is too many young workers with attitudes working here with no overhead. My brother spent $700 when the package was only suppose to be $300. No one knew what they were doing. They never brung our pizza out or the beverages and had an attitude about that. When you go to any other place similar i.e. Chuck e Cheese or fun and stuff I never had these problems. Keep in mind it wasn't even busy this day and we received horrible treatment. Wh
It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.
Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.
Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.
Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.
Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.
Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.
Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.
No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
