I took my kiddos here for their birthday. I purchased the 3-hour pass, and we were able to play everything but mini-golf at least twice. The staff was friendly, and the service was good. I would highly recommend this place.
We decided to do a round of put put. Then see what else we wanted to do. We had token cards and we played ski ball as well as other arcade games. We had a great time. This facility and grounds are clean and welcoming.we will have to come back more often. It's convenient from 270, route 30, routes 141 or 21
Being ran by a bunch of young people as I would expect. The problem is that they don't want to enforce any of the rules. Bought a 2 hour pass and it was not worth it!! By the time you stand in line you have about enough time to ride the bumper boats twice and the go karts twice. I would definitely not recommend going here for the go karts. It is more like bumper cars and they slow you down because someone is spun out again from being hit. Some of the karts struggle on the hill and pop like crazy. They didn?
Go carts are way too short if you are tall. Bumper cars are garbage. The arcade has more claw type machines than games. Mostly younger kid games than 13 to 16. I thought it was a waste of money We will go elsewhere in future. We drove 129 miles to be disappointed. The boys were totally bored after 1.5 hours. We paid for the 3 hour passes.
It amazes me how many people complain about gas smells from go, karts, or go karts being closed, due to weather, or other silly things that should be expected from an outdoor amusement park. I can honestly say that my kids and I have enjoyed this place on quite a few occasions both during the week and on the weekends. The staff are friendly and the prices are affordable for both entertainment and food in general. Of all the different places to choose on the surrounding area, my kids usually pick this place
Swing-A-Round Fun Town has great outdoor activities. Go karts, bumper boats, batting cages, mini golf and super cute small carts for really young kiddos. I had a pretty amazing pretzel from the concession stand too.
Rode the go-carts, played miniature golf, and played games in the arcade. We wanted to hit some baseballs but you need to bring your own helmet. They have single and double go-carts. The single go-carts are not for grown ups because the pedals were 2 feet closer than normal. My quads ached when I stood up. They have 3 different 9 hole miniature golf courses. We enjoyed playing course #2. The bumper carts were closed which was disappointing. Great place to have a birthday party for someone 8-14.
Typical summer hang out, teenagers running the asylum. They were helpful, and attentive to the kids. I read some reviews about pricing, but that's anywhere, seems to be "market value" from other places I have seen. The go-karts are a blast, the kids had fun shooting each other with water, and then the games! We ended up being there for over 3 hours. The boys had a blast and were all smiles the entire time. That's what matters, right? If you want to have fun with the family, or just be a kid yourself, this p
The service was horrendous I bought chicken tenders with fries and a drink all of it was large I had to wait 25 minutes to get my food just to get a small chicken tenders with no drink. And all of my friends said they bought different things like drinks and slushy?s and they never got them either I would not recommend this place for big parties because they get overwhelmed when there is more Than 10 people waiting for food or drinks. The by far worst experience ever was the price and the machines that w
The staff was very friendly. All the customers and even staff appeared to be having a great time. I spent $40 for 2 people for 2 hours, and it was nonstop fun! We will go again.
We LOVE swing around fun town. We usually go for a certain activity rather than spend the whole day doing it all. The mini golf courses are fun (2 courses), batting cages are awesome (they provide bats and helmets if needed), bumper boats are great on a hot day. The arcade isn't the biggest, but still fun because it's an arcade. The go carts are a blast and they have mini golf carts for littles! They also have a small play area indoors but we haven't checked that out. Definitely recommend for a fun family a
Bating cages need serious updating. Over half the balls pitched got caught on the netting. The bats and helmets were wore out. Pitches were so inconsistent, it defeats any purpose other than to go ?for fun.? The amount of money people can spend at this facility doesn't match the quality they would experience.
Fun go carts a good familyplace and great arcade games
We only did the mini golf but it was great! It was 90?+ but the shade trees throughout the course and the waterfall cave holes cooled us off while we played all 27 holes. We enjoyed the afternoon here!
I had to leave a review because we had such a fun day here ! My kids are both younger and had never driven go-karts. The worker was so nice and helped my daughter all around the track. I wish I would?ve gotten his name but he said he had only worked there a couple weeks. He was so kind and so were several of the other staff. Thanks for the good time !
Such a blast! Came out from Boston, Ma and my 12 yr old wanted to go. Absolutely fun for all ages 100% ! The batting cages brought back kid memories for me! My only suggestion might be outside T.V. to watch sports, racing, etc!!
It's a good spot to take the kids, they specially loved the Karts, it was busy but still had some good fun, there are a few cool things to do, I also saw some birthday party?s going on. They have stuff for almost every age. The only thing I didn't love was that at the weekend they don't have any deals, only on weekdays you can pay a fee per hour, weekends you pay per ride so?it adds up fast. Also my son got hit from behind on the Karts and they told off the kid that was driving, however did not even check t
We had a wonderful experience ,, what really makes this family fun are the attitude of the employees ,, we can't wait to return ,, something for everyone
Great place to have fun. Friendly staff and very clean. Lots of things to do, including bumper cars, bumper boats, gocarts, minigolf and so much more. Prices are reasonable as well the only thing I dont like is the odd pricing on games making it so it's nearly impossible to use all the money you put on your card.
The all day pass is the way to go! We had a blast riding go carts and playing putt putt golf! They also have batting cages and bumper cars. And for the daring people who are not agraid to get a little wet, they have Bumper Boats!! Which is particularly good on a hot day. Then go inside and have a blast in the arcade and do not miss out on their pizza. They have really good pizza!
Just way better than the st Charles one and just a lot of things to do like go carting and go crating for little kids to practice
PERFECT for a Birthday. Fun for ALL ages! Two hour fun pass wore Everyone Out ??. Wasn't crowded, COVID Compliant (Mask Mandatory) , Hand Sanitizer easily assessable. We didn't eat there but there was Food available. WILL RETURN ??????
I've only been here twice and the outside stuff was fun but the only thing inside was the arcade and bumper cars the arcade I didn't get to go to since you had to spend more money than you did to get in and play. Plus there wasn't alot of activities if you didn't want to go outside and if you don't know how to play golf or base ball. But the other stuff was so fun like the go carts.????
Great place and we had a great time. You all however disappointed a 5-year-old girl because she had enough tickets to get a dancer ribbon that was marked at 590. Your employees then said we just haven't had time to get up and change the price to 750. Of course! Poor girl only had 700 tickets and couldn't get what she wanted. Please keep the prices up to date
I love this place!! I bring my kids once a week and they love it so much!! We can't get enough of this place !! the pizza and pretzels are the BESTT!!!!
Had a birthday party here over the weekend, it was great. Everyone had fun, even the adults. We will be returning forsure!
I hosted my daughter?s birthday party here recently and it was such a great party! The pizza was loved, the ease of getting wristbands and playing on the outside activities, no one wanted to leave they were having so much fun! But what really stood out to me was the wonderful customer service we received throughout the whole process!! From the many phone calls I had, to them helping me understand what's included and how to work the website, and Kiersten our day of party coordinator- I had to come write a re
Very fun atmosphere. Nice selection of food and reasonably priced. Fun arcade games the entire family can enjoy. Friendly customer service. We tried out the Ted Drew's Ice Cream selections and were not disappointed.
Reallllly slow and inexperienced workers. Still a great time and would recommend if you needa get out of the house
Took 2 boys (13 and 11) on a 2-hour pass on a very hot weekday morning. Wasn't sure 2 hours would be long enough, but it was perfect. They went on the go karts twice. Line wasn't too long, but they waited through 2 runs before it was their turn. They also rode the rafts once and spent some time in the batting cages before deciding they would rather get out of the sun. After a cold drink, they enjoyed playing games in the arcade and it was time to go. No one whined about leaving! They both had fun and want t
My family & I had an amazing birthday party experience here. They take care of almost everything & help the parents enjoy the party as well. Little details like serving the food, drinks & cake are actually a huge help. Not having to worry about those little things helped me enjoy my daughter?s party even more & be in the moment with her. Plus just the fact that we were able to bring our own ice cream cake in was a huge bonus. My daughter is allergic to eggs & can't have a regular cake. Most places we checke
Even attending in the off-season time (March), everyone was nice and ready to help out. We only did indoor stuff and mini golf outdoors, but everything was as expected.
Small but fun! Prices are reasonable! Understaffed and had to wait for someone to come operate a couple of areas.
You must take your family to this beautiful place where everyone will enjoy themselves and have fun. The food is a bonus but the experience is one of a kind! The owner and his family are extremely nice and treat you as family as well!
Plenty of fun activities for the day. Pizza, chicken, snack foods available. Party room available (limited space). The equipment is worn and facility old, prices are reasonable. I would return/recommend.
It's a little bit overpriced. Arcade machines are a bit pricey. Outdoor rides are fun for sure and worth it.
Had never been before and my first visit was business related. I knew I had to bring my family after seeing the several options of activities here. I was there for 4 hours and had a blast and only did the arcade. Definitely will come back week after week. Very clean and comfortable atmosphere
We had the best time! Everyone was so kind and patient!
I hadn't been to Swing-Around-Fun-Town since I was a little kid. I remember because after riding the go carts I threw up all over my sister's car on the ride home... ...09/01/21. Google Maps AND Yelp both listed closing at 11pm on a Friday night. After a day full of unfortunate events prior to finally arriving at 9:45, first thing we did was get in the photo booth because we have not one single picture of the 4 of us together. I paid the $3 (cash) & we took 4 shots. The machine said it was printing our phot
It's as fun as a kids play place can be I guess. It's older than I am so of course it's got wear and tear. The mini golf course holes that have separate platforms needs the holes cleaned. A few of the tunnels that the ball rolls to - to get to the second half of the course- are clogged and ate our gold balls. The go carts look fun, batting cages look descent, the place looked clean. A tad pricey for what you're getting but it was alright. Very friendly staff.
Absolutely would recommend this place for couples looking for a fun and easy date night, or parents looking for something fun to do with their kids. the staff is friendly, and the property is well maintained. Would also like to thank Chase and Mikayla for their patience and help with our kids. Will be back often.
Great for family fun. Pricing is reasonable. If you plan to do even 1 or 2 of the attractions it pays to buy the fun pass. Groupon has regular deals as well as the swing around fun town emails to save even more. My sons (age 11 and 6) both equally enjoy when we come!
We tried to bring in our cards that we had saved a game of mini golf each on but the ball machine was out of order. Hand it into the attendant and she said the cards never even existed. Not sure if she thinks I'm printing these things up at home or what LOL. Multiple arcade games broken with no attendant in sight. Decided it was just easier to walk out and go somewhere else.
We always have a ball with the race cars If the add some heat lamp fir the outdoor activities it would even better!
1 star. Had stepsons birthday party here this past Saturday. The adults at the party spent the first hour waiting for drinks because they had to go buy more beer - apparently the "order didn't come in," which they should have realized earlier in the day, but whatever. The kids were brought their dinner and never brought any drinks, despite having ordered several pitchers. We had to hunt someone down to remind them to bring our pitchers out. Waited another 5 minutes to find someone to bring napkins. Then I
Lost a personal belonging here and after I got home, realized that I had lost it somewhere there and swing around and I called hoping that maybe somebody turned it in. Sure enough somebody did. And Emma (the manager?) was willing to mail it back to me, as , I live an hour away. Excellent customer service. Oh yeah, the facility was clean , and fun for the kids and I.
My kids and I had a fun time. It was expensive for the games but no more so than other arcades. Workers were friendly and they had some good prizes for the kids.
Still a great experience, used to visit here when I was a kid. My kids loved it
Great for the little ones, pizza was pretty decent; but the game card signage to play was very misleading.. The manager explained it to us and offered us a credit for what we spent, which was very nice
My youngest son and I purchased the all day pass and spent the entire day. He got two holes in one(which was two more than me), and had his first go cart ride ever! We had tons of fun, and it was a great value. On the drive home, he had this to say, "I don't know about you Dad, but I had a good time!". Me too son, me too :)
I moved away from the area years ago, used to take my kids here when they were little. I was in the area visiting and was surprised to see this place still open after all these years. It doesn't look ran down or outdated. Nice to see something last as long as this place has.
It was fine... but I won't be going back. I didn't like that they charged me $1 for the plastic cards without telling me before hand. So if you go expecting to pay 12.99 ... it's not, it's actually 13.99 per person. Then the first time my 10 year old rode the go carts, he bumped into the car in front of him when parking at the end of the drive and they cut the card I just paid a dollar for as a warning. I had to explain to him why they did that because he didn't actually understand. The first time a kid lea
Kids had so much fun the go-karts are faster than what you might think in the track last much longer it's a great deal I can't remember what we paid but it wasn't much they have everything batting cages other rides video games their staff was amazing to I lost my keys on the go-kart track and of course one of them found it and gave them to me immediately with a fantastic visit I'll definitely be back soon
My grandson Loves this place. You can go for 1 hour or 4. You can spend $25 or $65.
I took My grandson today, July 18, 2024. I have never been so disappointed in my life. So many of the machines were not working and I spent $50 for him to play five things. Whoever owns this place is getting rich quick without supplying the entertainment advertised. Another lady I talked to said she told them over an hour ago that several machines were not working and they still hadn't posted anything on the machines. Again, not only did this happen once it happened at least eight + times and that is eight
Great place to go for family fun. They offer go-karting. Two tracks: one for anyone and another for younger karters. Bumper boats, mini-golf, batting cages are always fun. They have an arcade inside with bumper cars and a jungle gym as well. Rain, snow, or shine; it is a good place to occupy a family with fun.
Took the kiddos there for the all day groupon passes, it was money well spent. The weather tried to put a damper on things but we had fun.
Booked a birthday party here for our son. The party hostess, Lexi, was incredible! She went above and beyond to make sure everything was exactly as we wanted it to be! The management at this location is exceptional! There was some rain during the party and they were more than accommodating with the arcade. Love this location and will definitely return and recommend to friends!
We bring our kids here roughly once every 3-6 months. It's a lot of fun but can get very pricey if you don't plan ahead. Some of the food/game credit combos are good deals and we will use those if we plan on eating. I like coming during the winter months because the kids can still wear out energy in the arcade and indoor playground.
We brought our RISE Martial Arts campers today. Great experience for all of us!!! I will definitely keep this on my Summer camp schedule for next year. It's within walking distance of the Taekwondo school. All smiles!!!!
Want for my daughters birthday, she loved it. I'm almost too chubby to ride the go.carts, so I didn't. My mom brought a cookie.cake which was confiscated for being outside food, which whatever ??.
Brought my two little necies here they loved it had so much fun !
Alot of fun from 9 year old to my 61 I had as fun as the kids
We reserved a birthday party for my 11 year old son and it went very well. Our dedicated host Omar was extremely attentive despite having to do all his other work as well. The package includes lots of options which was great for the group of kids who had different interests. Omar was very accommodating and informed me of discounts for add ons which was very helpful as it heated up outside and I was able to get each kid an arcade card for a very affordable price. I would definitely recommend for an older kid
We Always have a great time at Swing Around! My kid would go weekly if we would let him. Finally tall enough for the go carts.
We played mini-golf and drove go-carts. The slush puppy slushie was good.
FYI- I have been coming to Swing Around Fun Town for multiple years and never experienced what happened when we went today 6/2/2024. Purchased the two hour pass every time we come here did the same. This time going to the GoKarts we normally share the two person kart and only need 1 pass to use and it was no issue, THIS TIME we go through and they needed to scan two passes to use the two person GoKart. Never experienced that before so I went to the front counter outside and the young lady was LAZY, NO HELP,
Fun but small arcade. The mini golf has little shade so it's very hot on the cement. Pricing is moderate. We usually go when it's slow.
I bring my 2 year old here about once a month and it's a great way to spend a couple hours, the soft play area is only $5 so that's really a steal and it's a really fun area they have, the arcade is great, arcades are always kinda expensive but it's not too terrible, decent food, great place for any age really
What can I say? We were here about 3 to 4 weeks ago, and they weren't taking card payments at all the entire day. I can imagine how inconvenient that was for many families, but there was an ATM located on the right side of the building when you enter for your convenience. We've been going through swing around sometimes since we moved back to St. Louis from Seattle. A place for children young and old. I will take a date here just to test their patience in traffic on a go-kart. ?? I hope my children bring the
I wanted to ride go carts for my birthday so my husband & kids brought me here. We had a good time, although there were a few hiccups. first being the lack of staff & the staff there was fairly young so we spent a good amount of time tracking someone down to be able to golf or get bats for the batting cages besides that there was a group of unsupervised children that were very rude, jumping in line, & one of them purposely ran into my son & others on the go carts,he was finally kicked out but it took a litt
Celebrated my son?s 10yr birthday - he was over the moon at all the things he got to do (go-karts, mini golf, arcade, etc) AND it was a quiet weekday so NO LINES! What made this truly special was Lexi (party coordinator) and Julie (manager on duty). They were so accommodating, kind, and caring - they treated our kids and their friends like they were family. Will definitely be back for another one of our 3 kids? birthdays!
Great place for the whole family! Go karts, bumper boats, mini golf, batting cages and arcade!! My kids had the best time!
So fun and affordable! Great for kids and adults!
If I could give them less than 0, I definitely give them negative 100. I would not recommend this place to anyone it definitely isn't as big or as fun as it looked online. It wasn't what i expected but I still decided to give it a try, what a terrible mistake. I wish I never went there! We had to wait long times for nothing because it was not crowded at all. 20$ for 2 hour passes and most of the two hours we were waiting in lines. Then I had an issue where my keys and AirPods flew out of my pocket and I imm
Went here for me son's birthday and it was great because he had lots of gun. Just wish there was a little more to do and less waiting in line but they are popular! Also, my son got in free since we joined their birthday club!
I had my son 5th birthday party this past Saturday. I was told I would have tablecloths on the table. Which I spoke with someone prior to the party when she called to confirm the party. When the party started I was told, Oh we only have table cloths for inside parties. It was a miscommunication. The kids wasn't allowed refills on their drinks. I have had many parties at arcade places and this was the first that don't allow refills for kids. The pizza was nasty from what I was told by my kids and other gues
Not a safe or fair place. Came here with a person with disabilities. It was our third (and last) time coming here. The first 2 times were fun, and we were turning it into a weekly routine, but the third was a catastrophe. First, the slower speed batting cages were broken and they apparently couldn't do anything about it. We tried using the faster ones, but when he connected with the ball it was too painful/overstimulating. We then tried to do go-carts. He adapted beautifully to the unexpected change and a
Starting off, parking lot clean and easy to navigate. Once you get inside it brings back every great arcade memory any of us had as kids, pretty affordable on food and drinks but do wish some of the fried food didn't take 20-30 min. The games were fairly priced once you get your card to play them. We did one round of mini golf on course #2 and had a fantastic time...noone rushed us and it was easy to see where you're supposed to sink the putt. All in all the.....can't wait to visit again and get to do some
Cute place, but if you are going there just for the batting cages like we did. I don't recommend it. Most of the softball batting cages weren't working. The soft pitch was way too slow, and the baseball ones kept jamming. Other than that, everything else was fun and would take the kids for a fun time again!
I felt very welcomed, the staff were friendly and the party host was amazing! Thank you guys. I will definitely be coming back!
I went here a few days ago and I don't recommend it. The lighting was weird, and the place looked very creepy. I went on the go-karts and my breaks weren't working properly. To play games, it was expensive and they barely gave any points. Compared to other arcades, a game where I got 30 points, I got 2. Some of the games were broken too and kept taking my credits away without letting me play. Along with that, the prices for the prizes were really expensive. The photos were also kind of expensive, and all th
I used to come here as a kid for parties and always had a great time! Recently I came back to town for my nephew's birthday party held at swing around fun town. He and all his friends had a great time playing the games, using batting cages, mini golf, and all the other amenities. Julie was working with our party and she was attentive, professional, and quick to address any additional needs we had. I highly recommend swing around fun town. We will be back soon!
There's something for everyone. While the boats were offline for the season, everything else was up and running. The fun passes have the best value where you can enjoy all the rides, golf, and batting cages by the hour up to 3 hours. The golf course was very challenging. The go-karts were extremely fun and well maintained. All-around enjoyable and won't break the bank when you're on a budget.
Whole family loved it I took my grandkids here a long with a disabled adult everyone had a great time. Great price too I've been telling my friends
It was my first time being here. Brought my daughter to celebrate her 10th birthday. It was a really great experience overall. The games were cool and the food was good. The staff members were excellent.. very friendly and very helpful! Well except 1 who gave me attitude because they prepared my pizza wrong and I asked for it to be remade. Aside of that we enjoyed our time visiting.
I would give it a big fat 0 if it was available. BEWARE of having birthday parties here. They are not worth the money. I booked a party for a 3 yr old. Only her 19 month old cousin and her grandparents showed up. We were lied to about seating and hour and a half play, when booking party. I specifically asked the girl if seating was tables with chairs. I told her I would not book if it's only picnic benches due to some of the adults not being able to move in and out easily on benches, plus they are terribly
Took our 7 year old grandson for a last of summer day spent 4 hours and he didn't want to leave. Everything was great except we spent half our 2 hour pass in line mostly because they just didn't have enough 2 seater go carts, most of these kids need a driver . But he had a great time in the arcade they only thing that needs fixing is the VR game the headset straps are ripped and stretched and the cables looked worn, he loved it anyway even having to hold the headset on his face. It's in all a great ace t
It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.
Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.
Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.
Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.
Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.
Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.
Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.
No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
Arcade prize games are a thrilling highlight in 2025! Claw machines, skee-ball, and ticket-redemption games like basketball offer a rush of skill and chance, with rewards like plushies, toys, or electronics up for grabs. Modern machines feature vibrant lights, digital scoreboards, and responsive controls, amplifying the fun. The lively arcade atmosphere, with cheering crowds and buzzing energy, makes every win feel epic.
