This was my boys first time going and they really enjoyed it. They enjoyed the go carts so much we did them back to back! They said next thing they come, hopefully they will be able to drive on the rookie side by themselves. And of course they enjoy the arcade and kids zone. We will be back soon! ??

Brought my daughter here for a day out, everything was great. We did the 4 attractions and arcade games.. thank god we did the arcade before the attractions and got some good experiences. We went to do the go karts and literally me and my daughter are getting thrown into the guard rails by this big adult thinking it's funny. This place is amazing! It's huge. It has an arcade, a large kid zone, a laser tag arena, a batting cage, putt putt course, and a go cart track. It's about $10 per activity. You can spend the entire day here.

We have been coming to Swaders since my little one was 3 years old. The atmosphere is still the same. The pricing is much higher now, but you still get a good deal. They offer birthday parties and corporate events. You do have to pay for each attraction, which consists of bowling, the kids zone, go karts, and indoor batting. Took forever to get food and often struggled to get attention from staff. The food was alright though, great fries. I went on a Monday and it was pretty quiet. Wanted to go kart and the kids running it ignored us (the only two people in line) to talk and play on their phones. Paid 10 bucks for 2 waters and a slice of pizza. My daughter and I chose to take my grandson there while he was visiting from South Carolina. We wanted to go somewhere that would be fun for a 12 year old boy, and he totally enjoyed himself. They both rode the go carts, while I held my grandbaby, watched them, and took pictures. My family had so much fun today. I'm super glad we found this place. My daughter is only three and loved everything down to the laser tag. She said she can't wait to go back and play again.

My 2 kids were in line with only 3 other children and we waited well over 45 minutes for kids' go-karts. The 5 guys working the adult karts never even came over to acknowledge us or explain why our wait was so long. When one guy finally came over, he only allowed the 1st three kids on karts and made us wsit until the next round. Extremely disappointing experience.

I don't know how I've never heard of this place. It's a fun place to go for families. The facility is well laid out with numerous things to do for all ages. Laser tag, driving range, mini golf, go carts, duck pin bowling, arcade, and a restaurant that has reasonable prices. We will be bringing our family back for sure. Okay so we got there. We got our stuff. We went did go karting first we were good. We went put putting for a little. Then we went to get a drink. Always a great time to take the family. They have go-karts, Lazer tag, batting cages, putt-putt, driving range and a play place for the little ones to enjoy. Not to mention all the acarade games!!

Place and atmosphere is great for kids. Kitchen staff needs training on sanitation. I watched them all not change their gloves while touching their hair, hats, cash register and then customer?s food? Disgusting! Please retrain

The batting cages jam constantly with no workers around to fix the problem. I've seen people standing around waiting for 10-15 minutes and then finally go clear the jam themselves. THEN an employee comes out and fusses at them. Maybe they should have someone come by every few minutes to make sure things are feeding correctly since this is a known problem? If they fixed this, it would be great.

Great place to go with family and friends. They have lots of fun activities to do so you're never bored. Arcades, bowling, laser tag, mini golf, batting, go karts and a play area for kids plus many more. I have to say I will be back even though I live far away.

So fun loved the Go-karts wish we could have done the batting cages more but some were broken and not working but hopefully next time. Overall a great time!

Our NY trip was altered, so we're staying in the area for the holiday. Guest services and my God Daughter recommended Swaders. It was the perfect spot for my Grandson's to blow off some steam. We even saw a fellow Youth Basketball player from Wake Forest, NC. Great location when visiting from Franklinton, NC.

I gave this place a 4 star, only thing I had a problem with was pretzel bites and only got 5 for $3.00 and they were undersized. Other than that, will be glad to bring my 5 year old grandtwins back.

This place was totally sick! Tourists and strangers alike, please visit this place. This place had so much to offer. Go Karting, mini golf with friends/family, laser tag, etc. The prices were pretty affordable. Offer via military discounts, too. Me and a couple of guys went there and had one of the best times of our lives. I'm sure anyone else would too. There is food you can pay for as well as snacks, beverages and an Arcade. Worth seeing.

Went Saturday night and my toddlers had a blast on the jungle gym. Also loved the slushies. Didn't get to try the bowling for kids but we will be back since we got there late. They stay open until ten which is a plus. Good spot to get out with the little ones.

Even tho it was super busy yesterday, Becca took the time and care to address all of my families issues concerns and needs were meet, even tho the batting cages kept running out of tokens and mini golf ran out of balls and two hour wait. Went for batting practice at the cages, there's two for slowpitch softball, yet one is not working. Prices are great, $2 for 20 pitches, you can't beat that. However, those 20 pitches run off in less than two minutes. Pitching machines need calibration for both distance, ball barely gets to the actual cage, and timing, some balls come back to back. Come on Swaders. This review is for the mini golf section. You should be ashamed to take people's money when they bring their families here to have fun with their kids.The only two courses you have are in disrepair. The fountains are not working. The greens are horrible. If someone were to just blow off the greens with a leaf blower that would be a huge improvement.Out of the entire Appomattox course we only found 1 ball retriever. The food service was terrible. The wait time was extremely long and the food was nasty. I watched the cooks/servers in the back playing/laughing and talking instead of working. One girl in the back didn't have gloves on and was openly eating and helping with orders. The dining area was nasty and nobody bothered to come wipe a table down or sweep up anything. Very kid friendly and great staff. My son really enjoyed himself and didn't want to leave! The Go-Kart staff let me and my son go so we weren't waiting too long for the singles to go, as he was becoming inpatient. Recommend to anyone.

We had our son's birthday party here, and it was great. Our hostess and her helpers were fantastic and very attentive, and everyone had an excellent time. The kids loved the pizza, cupcakes, and of course, the arcade and attractions! Especially the go-karts.

We had a blast! We come often today was the 12 year anniversary. Our son had a great time. A few games took our money but they are great about putting it back on the card. My only complaint is the ticket counter everytime it seems only 1 person is working and line is always extremely long. Other then that we love swaders! It is a little overstimulated. It was cute. First time visiting with my boys (10&16) since we moved to VA. They have batting cages, Go-cart racing, Lazer tag, Like a jungle gym thingy and an Arcade with a few games to play. They may have a concessions stand but we didn't visit there on this trip. They do have like a center kind of like Chuck E Cheese where you can get little chachkies and such. We visited there on Saturday 2/24. One of the worst experience I have ever had. 1. Go kart was not working. Understand track was wet, but there was no intent from crew to do anything about this. 2. Baseball cage was not working. 3. My kids and I love to go here to play, eat and have fun. The cost to play the games is a lot, anywhere from $2-$8 per play, and the package deals seem like a good deal but when two kids are playing games they'll go through the money in about 3 minutes. Laser tag is pretty fun but the staff stall to make you feel like you're getting more play time. We still had a great time!

This place has something for everyone!! Brought two teenagers, an 11 year old and a toddler and everyone had a blast!! Super clean, lots of game choices and activities for all ages!

Just went and it was really bad the 4 player air hockey thing broke then the batting cages weren't even working the 40 and 50mph cages broke and then the slow pitch softball didn't even shoot out the balls and the fast pitch throws were all the place idk how this place is even functioning

Super impressed. The place is awesome and has so much to do to keep the entire family busy and happy. The girls at the front desk could definitely use some training. We had questions since it was our first time and they had no answers.

Hardly any of the arcade games worked, the air hockey table took our money, but had no puck. We like coming here as it's a fun place that is close by. Our son loves the huge play area they have, and we as a family love the arcade and mini golf. We have not tried the go carts or laser tag. One negative is the cost. It's $9 per experience, per person, unless you get a package deal which saves a few, but many bucks.

There system for paying for attractions is complicated to me. The price for the run of the park is fair but to call it run of the park isn't accurate. It includes three attractions. We did kill a few hours time and for 5 people to spend just $30...I won't complain.

I spent 40 bucks in less than 10 mins for 1 child. Tried to play in the play area but some kid threw up in it so my child didn't get to even play in that. However, the manager was kind enough to refund the money for that. I just think the cost to play the games for what little amount of tickets you get for playing the games is just a rip off. But that's my opinion. Overall, the few workers I interacted with were kind and courteous. Just a bit overpriced to play the games for tickets.

Fun place okay prices for the kidzone and a great way for kids to play when raining outside. The arcade is over priced with most being $1.50 to $2 per play and a the prizes taking a lot of tickets.

I've taken my nephews here quite a few times over the years. All the games and laser tag are fun. The golf clubs could use some upgrades. The go karts get pretty busy, so we usually have to wait a while. It's an enjoyable time.

Seems like a fun place but the staff is incompetent. Started a birthday party at 1. It's now 3 and the kids haven't been able to play a single game, or do a single activity. Staff is just staring at each other behind the counter And don't seem to care enough about breathing to function like adults. I brought my son here to celebrate his birthday. Their website incorrectly stated that they were not scheduling parties due to being short staffed. When we arrived almost an hour away from where we live, we were told that we could not bring his cake inside unless we had a party scheduled...thankfully it wasn't super hot that day so the cake survived lol but I was very annoyed. The kids had a good time though so that was most important.

We had my son's 3rd Birthday party at Swaders and it was a great experience! The staff were so accommodating and helpful and they made the whole process a breeze! I definitely will do more birthday parties here as well as come back to just play.

Always love supporting this place and I'm glad they made some upgrades/maintenance on the driving range. It's been my only gripe for years but I wish they had some type of gazebo or something to just get out of the sun during the warmer months. I know my golf group and I would definitely visit more in the summer and stay longer if this was in place. With top golf and drive shack not in this area it would be great to see a local mainstay jump on it. Just some shade that's all lol.

We wouldn't do a party here again. We were rushed in and out of the party room. The party last an hour but if you and your party isn't there on time they start the time regardless. Spoke with the manager and she stated the at is the rule across the board and that how it works for them. The amusement park is good but I wouldn't do a party here again. First the girl at the children's area made me pay a second time I tried to explain I had paid and the kids had on their arm band. She said they were the wrong day arm band. I went to the manager. Fun activities for the kids and nice premises but the service, knowledge, and communication of employees was so poor. It was like everyone was afraid to speak and explain things. Staff needs more training on communication and guiding customers. Also wait in the food area was very long, that area was understaffed.
