The manager Toni & team member Jayonna are simply phenomenal. They take great care of us each & every time we come to this amazing establishment. The facility is clean, the air flows nicely to keep our children cool & we have a great time always. I highly recommend everyone come to Surge & come see Toni & the crew.
12/03/2024 A lot of different types of trampolines with a lot of variations for kids to play, missing just a normal trampoline for older kids? 5 play rooms which is amazing but I didn't find changing room? and restrooms a bit scary especially if this place made for kids. A bit pricy in my opinion 30$ for 1,5 hour on Tuesday was empty, literally 2 kids , worker said it is crowd on the weekends. About worker? when I come to kindly ask to buy a water she talk on the phone and gave me wave with hand and walk aw
I'd rate higher the place as looks very clean BUT the person in the desk looks like she hates her job, she is being so rude in her way to behave to people. Owners, Managers.. would be very nice if you could select better your employees, this is giving a bad impression to your business. The costumer far from being comfortable could feel even afraid to ask anything. Thanks
Equipment and atmosphere was excellent. Hard to have a bad time. The lady behind the counter was not helpful. As a first time visitor she simply provided no guidance, and said fill out the waiver. Additionally when it came time for my child to cash in the tickets, after stating she would help she vanished behind the desk. She was extremely rude and clearly did not enjoy her job or want to be there. The lady who came and helped us was wonderful and addressed our needs in a kind and thoughtful manner. Additio
Clean, staff was friendly and helpful. The process was quick and easy to purchase tickets online. The massage chairs are amazing benefit as well. When me and my son went last it was just us and one other kid and parent, but even when it was busy the staff was still friendly and helpful and every time we have been it is always clean and my kids always have tons of fun!
Surge Management I hope this message finds you well. I recently visited Surge in Newport News with my 12-year-old, looking forward to an enjoyable experience on the trampolines. Unfortunately, I encountered a few concerns during our visit that I felt needed to be addressed. Firstly, I noticed that the facility was not as clean as I would have expected. Additionally, I had an interaction with the manager that left me feeling quite unsettled. The manager was noticeably rude and aggressive, and it seemed tha
There were two girls by the name of Jayanna more and Ariana White who were so kind, professional, showed initiative to assist me when I had trouble with filling out the waivers for my son... We traveled about 30mins away and they made our visit very enjoyable . They deserve a RAISE for sure.. Thank you so much ladies.. DEFINITELY will be back..
Been here multiple time with my kids. And we always have a good time and good service! Thanks to Ms. J, the manger! She is the absolute best very respectful and kind.
We absolutely love Toddler Time at Surge! It's such a fun and safe way for our little one to burn off energy, and the staff is always so kind and welcoming. The atmosphere is perfect for young kids, and we appreciate how attentive and friendly everyone is. Highly recommend for parents looking for a great activity for their toddlers!
I have visited this place 4 times in the last year. My son loves it and he just learned how to do his first backflip. But today I needed to use the bathroom and it was absolutely disgusting. I refused to go. The door was falling apart. One door to the stalls was completely missing. The other had no locks. Most of the thing?s inside were out of order and the things that were available lacked general care and maintenance. The worker bees just sat around and one of them was boxing the bags. Must be nice to g
If I could give this place zero stars, I would. The facility was shockingly unclean?everywhere I looked, there was trash, hair, and debris scattered throughout the jump park. I'm fairly certain I even saw feces at one point, which made the entire experience feel extremely unhygienic. I left feeling genuinely uncomfortable. To make matters worse, the front desk staff was anything but friendly, adding to the overall unpleasant atmosphere. I won't be returning. On top of that, the experience was nothing like w
We've been to Surge a few times, and my granddaughter always has a great time. The facility is well-maintained and spacious, and the staff are friendly. There are a variety of trampolines, including dodgeball and basketball courts, foam pits under a zip line and trapeze. There are also several places throughout the facility for adults to comfortably watch the kids play. It's also a fun and active way for my granddaughter to get some physical activity in a playful and safe environment. I'd definitely recomme
Highly recommend, great family fun and a great way to escape the heat!
Here from NC. This Surge is one of the nicest my family and I have been too. Customer service is great. The prices are good and the kids have fun. We will be back .
This place suffers in the same way businesses here previously have. It's a good idea and the initial built is nice but over time maintenance isn't done. The bathrooms were rough and the party rooms really needed some basic paint and floor cleaning. Things were closed, and a couple of the areas had exposed springs. None of the TV displays worked and every clock showed a different time. There was also a pretty large armed security presence, which made it feel like there were problems warranting that from the
My family had a blast for my daughters' birthday party! The facility is very well kept and the bathrooms were SUPER clean...which scores big points with me! Even though they were short staffed, the customer service of the staff that we encountered were very attentive and pleasant. We will definitely be returning!
Best experience for our son?s birthday! Employees were considerate and accommodating. Price great for a 2-hr jump for 10 friends.
I went here with some friends a couple of weeks ago and had fun! The staff was friendly! The place was decently kept, though I think some things could be well kept better, like the dodge ball court. I do think the price is a bit high for what I got. I do recommend trying this place out with some friends!
"That was an AMAZING time at the Surge Adventure Park! The kids had a blast bouncing, playing games, and making new friends. The staff were super friendly and helpful, and the facilities were clean and safe. We can't wait to come back and do it all again!" Safety was in full effect! Staff very efficient and aware. Game area was great as well. 10/10 would recommend ??
I came in with a groupon voucher for three children thinking I had paid for the tickets for Surge in advance. The nice lady that checked us in turned the situation around. I was nice to know that customer service is not die.Thank you for being so kind. The children enjoyed the adventure park with several challenging obstacles. Surge is fun for all ages.
Like previous posts many activities are understaffed or broken. Unfortunately, I did not look to see that in advance and Surge is not disclosing this in advance to customers. In the trampoline park there was an out of order walkway but kids were still all over it. One of the ziplines the handcart was broken on the bottom but still in use so it could spin entirely around the main cable. The climbing section only had one attendant and kids were hooking themselves up to climb. A few of the fall protection
Love Love Love this location staff is always friendly great prices great location unlimited play for a good price Jae took care of us today she was so nice and professional at the front got us in with all smiles definitely recommend coming here with the kids
Surge is a huge spacious place. A lot for kids to do. It's a Trampoline Park. Has swing ropes rock wall. I mean everything. A lot of different activities. Has section for only 4 and under children to play. Has a arcade. Dodge ball area. Definitely a place to take your kids to burn some energy. Even a good place for an adult to be a kid. Has a lot of couches for adults to sit back and relax while there kids play in almost all the jumping areas. Pricing vary. Do offer military discount. It's 13.95 to jump for
We have not gone for the party but Sean the party coordinator who you can call is so amazing!!! He held a spot for me until I could confirm and he is so respectful and gives great information!!!!
We frequent this Surge location. Our son loves the multitude of trampolines and other jumping equipment! We even had his birthday party here. Would recommend if you have busy kids that need to get some energy out.
Very fun experience for me, my spouse, my friend, and her kid. Some of the implements were a bit worn, and some others didn't function super well. Overall, I think it is a good fun time; the kid enjoyed playing there as well.
This place is great to bring your kids and fun for all ages. You can even plan a party here. There are alot of different areas in this big indoor environment for kids and adults. "YOU MUST WEAR SOCKS" don't worry lol they have you covered if you don't have any. I will recommend people with kids here. And also great to wear them out cause as soon as i leave I'm hope they go sleep with all the energy they burnt off from all the running and jumping. Til next time eat and have fun.
The staff have no idea how any of the equipment properly works, bathrooms are dirty & hardly stocked up. The machines that dispenser cards for the arcade don't work & the staff can't fix them. Also, the "kitchen" is just a drink stand that sells some candy. Would not recommend.
Do not go to this place went for a birthday party and you couldn't play the arcade games because they were broken nobody would work at the concession stand so you couldn't get anything to drink or eat would definitely recommend going somewhere else
Wish there was a Surge in Hampton! This is a fun and safe place for kids of all ages and for families. However, this place is in need of a Glowup! The bathrooms are disgusting. It is imperative for the bathrooms and this facility in general to be properly cleaned and sanitized! Over all a good time.
Great place for kids Birthday parties, something for all kids to enjoy!! From ages 3 to 17 ?? and some things can be a challenge for the 17 year old who is very active in baseball, working out every night at the gym. Lots of fun
I can't find a way to reply to your reply on my review- but you said you hope to correct the problem? we've made phone calls and sent emails to which we had one phone call back from the events manager who was very nice but claims he can't do anything but receives complaints several times a week. You can feel free to email me to ?correct? this problem or call us back at one of the numbers left on the messages. The vouchers that we received were left on the counter with the ?manager? for you to review.
The employees were all really friendly and it was extremely clean inside. The party host helping us was very attentive to our needs and was able to provide any supplies we asked for. I would recommend them for your next party.
We brought the kids here for my son?s 7th birthday! It was our first trampoline park experience! It was definitely a success! Staff was super nice and friendly! We will definitely be back! Side note?kids said it was the best!!
I had the most pleasant experience with your team member Erynn today. She was very helpful and engaging. She made sure I knew all possible options that my children could enjoy.
I can't express how happy I was tonight with the team at Surge Adventure Park in Newport News VA. Two of my son's got to experience the awesome trampoline park, but my 3rd son who had both legs surgically repaired this year and wears braces couldn't jump so we stuck with the arcade part of Surge Park. Kelli was super helpful at front of desk, great customer service, but hands down I have to give it to Christian!!! He went out of his way multiple times tonight to make sure my son had the best experience eve
I mainly adding this as a shout out to these two employees. These gentlemen worked the ropes for over an hour letting the kids up and down on multiple courses without ever tiring. They could have gone and done other things but kept bouncing between not just one but 4 ropes/rock courses. The kids loved this more than jumping to be honest. This place is huge and we have been to three different ones in the area and by far the kids enjoyed this one more.
WORST ?adventure park? we have ever been to. We travel a lot and enjoy going to different trampoline/adventure parks in different states. We decided to try this one because online it looked awesome. CONS- almost everything was out of order. The only thing to do was jump. Zip lining down, wipeout down, bowling down, all rock climbing and obstacles out of order! Bumper cars out of order. There were 2 workers. No one monitoring or running anything. Tried to buy arcade cards - down. Shocker. ALL HAND SANITIZER
The staff was nice and helpful. This place has something for everyone of all ages. Very fun, the kids loved it. Definitely would go back again.
Service was amazing, my daughter had her 7th birthday party here and it was last minute booking but Jae came through and got my baby squared away and she had an amazing time!
The manager Jay was very patient and helpful. I was having trouble with the computer and she took the time to help me without making feet like an idiot. The world would be a better place with more people like Jay.
the party was fun bc the place is fun. The renovations are great. Pricey and we didnt meet our party host until she brought the check and let me know where the line was to leave her a tip.
We had our end of the year wrestling party there, and the staff was very accommodating and friendly. The general manager even got on the phone to help us with any questions or concerns we had. Great place for a party!
It's fun a lot of different things for all different ages. The staff is really nice and it's diverse. Party and bathrooms are clean. Decent arcade area. Alla round enjoyable experience.
A little bit of fun for all ages, they have a diverse of things, you can play at the arcade you can climb the rock wall or jump on the trampoline or play in the foam pits they have a little zip line area as well! When you get hungry or thirsty you can go to the cafe area and they have a little small bowling area to play in as well!
As always Surge is an amazing experience! Staff is friendly and helpful, the premises are always clean and we always have a great time. Will definitely return!
My daughter had her birthday party here today and we enjoyed the staff sooooooo much!!!!! Our party host Cristian was the absolute best!!!! Charly and John checked on our party and sang happy birthday to my daughter as well!!!!! She loved that the staffed participated in her birthday celebration!!!!! We will definitely be back
I am reaching out due to many concerns with the room rental I paid over $400 for. I booked a party from 3p to 5p. I showed up at 2p so that I could give the guests better instructions regarding what to do upon arrival. I had been calling Friday and Saturday morning with no answer. Any attempt to leave a message was promptly hing up on. I asked the cashier since the room was empty could I go in at 2:30 instead of 2:45 to set up. I was told no, ok your policy. Understanding that I left picked up pizza and re
Big shout out to J the GM and staff. She is a people's person and very observant. I appreciate the customer service and professionalism.
My kids love this place, probably not ideal during flu season beings. we all got sick after this visit! But not their fault.
People were so mean angry mother was yelling at me because she think I was bullying her son but I wasn't. I will never go back there ever again. If I were you, I will go to sky zone!(Lesson for everyone That was mean at the place treat the people the way you want to be treated. Thank you. That's all I wanted to say.)
We will definitely be back! I highly recommend this adventure park! The GM Jay absolutely amazing! She was so kind and helpful with everything my daughter and her friend did. She went above and beyond. When they got done with the climbing activities she was so kind to go and get them water! We will definitely be back all of the staff were amazing from check in to leaving.
My daughter celebrated her birthday with friends and family today. We had an awesome time. The staff was efficient and polite. Answered all my questions and was available for setup and take down. We will be back again.
Fun place for the kids, I recommend going during the week. If you go on a Saturday or Sunday expect a huge crowd.
Staff is friendly, place is pretty clean. Always a fun time for kids of all ages. Price is a little much for what you get but I understand why it is what it is.
It was a great trampoline park but the lady at the front was incredibly rude sad part is I think she was the manager everyone else was fairly nice but holy cow that lady was awful
Lauren and Ashton are the real MVPs at surge!! I brought 5 kids today (Monday 10/11/2020) and it was mostly empty. Ashton and Lauren gave my kids lots of personal attention and care. Thank you? we will definitely be back soon!
Very helpful staff. Always clean facility. My son loves jumping at Surge!!
We just had our 4th successful party at Surge. It's an easy place for a birthday party and if you go first thing in the morning, it's not crowded at all. The staff was friendly and our room was set up and ready for us. If you haven't been in a while, it's time to give it another go. Today we noticed a lot of positive changes they have made and we were told that soon they will be installing some new attractions.
This place was hands down one of our best experiences in Virginia. From the customer service of the staff, cleanliness of the facility and variety of activities for the kids. I wasn't sure if an hour would be long enough to play but it was perfect! I even joined in on the fun and still feel like I had a workout. I'm considering booking a private event. I wish I could have remembered the front desk staff name. She was amazing and a wonderful addition to your team! Excited to ?bounce? on in to our next visi
Always a great time with so much to do. There are always enough polite employees available in the facility. The area is clean and has enough cubbies to put shoes. They have lockable lockers, a place to eat, clean restrooms, an area for private parties and so much more. Prices are reasonable and they have a sitting area if you want to wait. Overall great place and I highly recommend!!
If you are looking for people who treat you with respect and a clean environment?don't go here! Workers don't care, manager treats people rude? and place is just dirty. Also, don't trust their gift cards because they won't honor them!
My son had a amazing time. Enjoyed all the park and enjoyed climbing and zip line.
Why is there no monthly membership to this place? It's nice and has things the kids enjoy (when properly staffed and things are actually working), but it's crazy expensive to go on a regular basis. Add to that now they won't let you bring in water bottles to make you spend more money for overpriced water at the concession stand and it's just not worth the hassle. Sky Zone and Launch offer unlimited memberships, this place needs to get with the program.
Extremely rude. Our family was given vouchers for each member because we are military and they forgot to ring in our discount and couldn't figure out how to refund so they gave us a card for 1 free hour each. They were signed vouchers with no expiration date? 8 months later we went to use them and were told by the manager that she only excepts ones signed by HER and that she had been there 2 years and that they ?changed? programs- yet she showed me the same vouchers that we had!
Could be an amazing place but very poorly kept up... no doors on the bathroom stalls instead there is cheap shower curtains, the center spinning game is broken and the zip lines hardly functioned. The one and only girl out on the floor could barely keep up with how much was going on out on the floor..
Never again I feel like the workers were lazy and one said she was sick so need to put the bracelet on not sure why she's working while sick.It wase dirty there was giant roache just crawling around and all the kids where taking turns showing everyone. the workers would not come let my kids do the climbing areas I asked 3 times I was told oh just wait 10 mins for what idk.I also could not use the games nothing was working and no one cared. If they were not going to let us use all the things they should of to
Always a kid pleaser!! We love this place! And there are massage chairs for grownups! Haha
My kids love this place but the new food and drink policy is really disappointing. I have never been somewhere that told me I couldn't bring in my kids? water bottles. With no water fountains, you are forced to buy bottled water from their concessions. Surge, as a family friendly establishment, please rethink this policy! You are encouraging dehydration, which is dangerous to your customers.
We always have a great experience when we come here! The front staff was very helpful and nice.. Would highly recommend to others!
Jae was very pleasant & helpful when we arrived. My kids love Surge!
We drive over an hour to come to this one because the facility is better than the one closest to us. Love the unlimited option for $18.99!
Friendly service, clean play areas, but a lot of closed rides and broken game machines.
An absolutely bizarre experience. I brought my four year-old to jump at the park when we got there around 12:15 it was empty; lights and screens were off and the place seemed semi operational at best. The woman working the counter was, from the moment we walked in, not pleased that we were there. My daughter and I had a look around and when we came back up to the counter, she said ?Are you here for the first time? Yeah I've been trying to get your attention for five minutes. Fill out a waiver.? at which ti
Sometimes it's hard to find staff, but this time it wasn't a problem. There was a very nice young staffer who helped all the kids get in the harness
We attended a birthday party here and the staff was friendly and professional. The facility was clean and we had so much fun.
The trampolines were nice, but the arcade was lacking. Several of the machines in the arcade were broken making it difficult to play. The staff is super friendly and patient.
Just horrible, The second i walk in a manger is arguing with another customer throwing slurs at eachother and cussing and saying very nasty things infront of these children and this happens TWICE with the same manger! wearing a black tee with red hair. Very unprofessional behavior, Not only that the employees don't seem like they like their job at all, and i wouldn't either if i have mangers who have attitudes all the damn time. When i called surge they always hang up very rudely. They seemed low in staff,
I took my two nephews to Surge I Newport. Wes VA and they loved it. Plenty of areas to bounce, run, play with others and complete obstacles courses. The staff were very attentive and helpful. The location was clean and I noticed several staff members cleaning behind the kids. Specifically, a young man in a green T-shirt was working in multiple areas from the game room area, snack bar, main entry area and side rooms. He was a very hard worker constantly helping everyone and cleaning/disinfecting the games an
Best kept secret ?? Nice place for the kiddos to get their jump on. Very clean, fun and friendly atmosphere. From trampolines to soft foam blocks, definitely great entertainment for the Littles. You'll laugh and get lots of exercise at the same time! WIN-WIN ??Will be returning!
Great place to get excersise and meet with friends! Wishing there was more staff to assist in running cafe and clip/climb stations. Still a good experience!
We always go here because my son enjoyed this park. This place is amazing and better than other trampoline parks except with the staff we encounter the last time we went here. The girl wearing yellow jacket ignored us let us waited for 15 mins for nothing She could?ve told us right there and then that she can't help us with the arcade issues since she has no access because she said she is the only person in front. When in fact she tried to be busy and went to their storage room when she has 2 other workers
What a waste! They're charging people 3x the amount for snacks drinks etc. at the concession. The products they're selling is from COSTCO AND SAMS. ONLY 3 of the attractions are a available for use. The manager attitude is disgusting and gets EXTREMELY annoyed if questions are asked pertaining to the attraction?s etc. This place needs a SERIOUS upgrade! Not only with attractions but with management as well. This place isn't being ran properly they'll eventually be out of business. It's ridiculous save your
The manager on duty Friday the 27th around 1 pm. Was great, super helpful, very friendly. Will definitely be going back!
Greedy Greedy Greedy!!! I went here with my young kids to try and burn some energy without being outside in the heat wave. Apparently they have some new rules. We were met at the door by their "security" who is apparently there only to help increase profits. The big reason we had to be stopped before coming inside? We brought our own water! How dare we enter a place where kids are supposed to run and jump and play with bottles of water to keep them hydrated. So we put the water back in the car. Surely an "a
Very disappointed in this Newport News location. Certain areas were closed off, there were many rips and tears held together with black tape-everywhere! Poorly staffed. No longer has bowling or bumper cars and the machines to buy play cards for the games wouldn't work and there was no way to purchase from the front desk. Even many of those games had signs not working. The place had an odor to it which I think is from poor cleaning. Do not waste your money or time going here. Try Sky Zone in Hampton.
Wonderful trampoline park. We went on a weekday and basically had the entire place to ourselves. I believe there was 1 other family. My kids loved everything especially the zipline and climbing. Staff was friendly. Everything was clean and not run down. We used to go to sky zone often but this is our new favorite.
Great place, price is q but much but it has a lot there.
It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.
Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.
Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.
Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.
Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.
Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.
Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.
No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
Arcade prize games are a thrilling highlight in 2025! Claw machines, skee-ball, and ticket-redemption games like basketball offer a rush of skill and chance, with rewards like plushies, toys, or electronics up for grabs. Modern machines feature vibrant lights, digital scoreboards, and responsive controls, amplifying the fun. The lively arcade atmosphere, with cheering crowds and buzzing energy, makes every win feel epic.
