Superelectric Pinball Parlour is a fantastic throwback arcade that's perfect for a fun night out. For just $6, you get unlimited play on a great selection of pinball machines, making it an unbeatable deal for arcade lovers. The space is filled with vintage d?cor, adding to the retro charm, and there's a bar with drinks and snacks to keep you fueled while you play. After 9 PM, it's 21+, so it turns into a great spot for adults to enjoy the games with a drink in hand. Whether you're a pinball pro or just loo

Great spot for pinball lovers! Unlimited plays for only $6 is an incredible deal. Visited on a Friday and, while it was a bit busy, never had to wait more than a few minutes for any specific machine (and I was always able to find another to play in the meantime). The bar had a great selection of drinks as well! Everything was clean and there were a couple other booths with classic arcade games as well. The staff were very friendly too. Had a phenomenal time and will definitely be back!

Awesome, about 20 pinball machines, a couple of old video games, and 8 bucks play all day

I had so much fun went here last week had a wonderful time got to play some really great games. I would be coming back.

Superelectric Pinball Parlor in Cleveland, Ohio, is a vibrant and nostalgic destination that brings together the thrill of classic arcade gaming and a welcoming atmosphere. As soon as I stepped inside, I was greeted by the delightful sounds of pinball machines and the lively chatter of fellow enthusiasts, creating an infectious energy that set the stage for an enjoyable experience. The d?cor is an eclectic mix of retro and modern elements, with eye-catching artwork and neon lights that evoke a sense of nos

A friend and I came in on a night when there happened to be a tournament happening. The tournament was not listed under private events on the website. We basically weren't able to use any of the machines and they weren't marked as to whether or not they were being used for the tournament, so when we touched one, we were shooed away in a not-super-friendly manner. We decided to close our tab and leave. I get that there are going to be events like this but I would just suggest that the machines being used hav

Such a cool little hidden gem! Unique drinks like the Bull Durham with apricot infused bourbon and peanut brittle!!! Or $6 all you can play pinball! New machines and some vintage ones. Such a cool place to burn a few hours. They also have a pinball league! So if that's your thing, check this spot out for sure! If you're out on a date night, swing by between places and enjoy the throwback fun.

What an awesome nostalgic experience! Joey was one of those naturals that delivered wholesome service! Along with April also being very helpful and friendly. They made this place very welcoming! I'll be back soon, probably just to visit them honestly!!!!

There are really only 3 reasons to come here. 1- Pinball- stating the obvious, great games, great price. Great selection from old school favorites to modern day pop culture games. 2- Drinks- love the selection of beers, major kudos 3- Joey the bartender- I've lived all of the US and I truly have never met a bartender like Joey- fun, funny and he made the whole experience unforgettable. Don't lose him- would be dumb

Joey was an absolute JOY!!!! First time here and it will absolutely not be our last. Had the pleasure of meeting the owner and his lovely wife and they made this place feel so special. April was also a treat. , 10/10 establishment.

Been meaning to check this place out and finally got to yesterday. Awesome little pinball bar! Really like the reasonable cover, nice selection of games newer and older. Quirky decor. Bartender was super nice. Will be back!

Had a wonderful stay over the weekend in this neighborhood and the highlight was definitely this place! The bartenders Joey and April were super friendly and top notch bartenders! Their hospitality made this place amazing and even though I love pinball I actually spent more time chatting with them! thanks guys, will be back

Super great place with an awesome atmosphere. Bar is very well priced as well as the price to play. Had a great time and will definitely return in the future with more friends and family.

Not only is superelectric pinball parlor an excellent place to stop in on date night or family day, they make a great venue for events. We have now hosted two parties at superelectric pinball. Our elopement reception and then my 30th birthday. Both times, superelectric pinball?s staff have been perfect hosts. Even if you wouldn't consider yourself a pinball player (we really aren't serious players), the space screams fun, laughter, good times. Our guests had a great time trying games, mingling, drinking at

Edit: I failed to clearly describe the costs. Each person is $6 to play. The machines are ALL on Freeplay. No money is needed after you've paid your $6. This is current as of 12/23. This place is great. We drove an hour plus to get here. We paid $6 per family member and easily spent two hours playing pinball. Stunning value. It IS a bar and we visited at 3pm and the clientele and employees were super nice and personable. 11pm may be different ;) . Even with a few cool machines out of order there were plent

This place is spectacular. The bartender was incredibly nice despite us coming in an hour before close. The games are set to free play and you pay per person at the bar at a very reasonable rate and they have tons of drink options at fair price ranges. The place is beautifully decorated and the games are in pristine condition. Whoever decorated this bar needs to come decorate my basement! So cool.

This place is great, fun for all ages. Staff is friendly, drink prices are very reasonable, and $6 for all the pinball you can play.

Love Super Electric. One price and you play all night for free. Best deal on pinball I've ever seen. On a good night at a regular coin drop, I can go through 15 to 20 dollars in quarters. At Super Electric, I play more games, and it's 6 dollars. A diet coke is 2 dollars. So tonight cost me 8 dollars to play pinball from 6:30 to 10:30. Game selection is pretty good they have a nice variety. The only thing I could complain about is that the machines are well played and not cleaned frequently enough

So much fun! Really enjoy this place and I can't wait to go again! I love the unlimited play for $6.

Fun place with friendly people for the Cleveland Pinball League. Other leagues are available, as well as other contests. Great selection of pinball machines from vintage to new. Good selection of beverages. Pinball machines are changed frequently, so you'll find machines every six months to a year.

They were awesome. The tall gentleman behind the bar had great service. Games were great. Great value.

This was a fun place ran by nice people. They had a good selection of brand spanking new games like Iron Maiden & Total Nuclear Annihilation mixed with older games like Eight Ball Deluxe and Fireball. The decor is very good and the chicken is surprisingly delicious. These guys also helped put together the pinball exhibit at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. I think the games are fairly priced and I like that they charge by the play rather them by the hour so it's a good place to hang out for a while.

Fun place for those looking for a bit of nostalgia, limited bar but the staff is very friendly. Definitely a must go when in Cleveland. Response to Owner: Personally a few more Bourbon options. No need to go overboard. If memory serves, when I was there (in Sept, it's now May) there was only 1 Bourbon being sold.

Joey was the best bartender we've had in a long time. He was so relatable. So friendly. He was just great!!!

Such a great local fun place. We were staying in the Gordon Square area on a recent trip to Cleveland and we had a nightcap here each night. Friendly staff (Jimmy is the best), great beer and cocktail selections at really great prices, and a great 80s fun vibe. Definitely recommend!

All day pinball play for $6 and Coors Banquet in bottles? What's not to like?! Good selection of modern Sterns and a few oddballs. How often do you see a Future Spa, Dirty Harry, or Wheel of Fortune on location? All machines played well with zero mechanical issues. Awesome donut/coffee shop accross the street.

What an awesome place! They have a variety of different pinball machines from throughout the years! Some machines are new, some old but all are extremely fun to play! No quarters needed! Instead you pay for the time you spend playing! I had a great time here with my wife and would happily come back!

Pretty cool place! Attended a private birthday party here and had a good time playing the old school pinball machines.

Such a consistently fun filled, awesome spot to play! We go often it's so great ??????????

Super fun space with lots of fun pinball games! I love that they have pinball leagues, if I lived in town I would join. I saw games their I've never seen anywhere else.

Such a cute pinball machine place with a bar to get a nice cocktail

Good place to play pinball. No food, no drinks keep the playing time down but fun none the less. Games are also inexpensive! Play on Wizard, play on

This was out 1st experience at Superelectric and it was just that "Electric"! The energy of the establishment was amazing. Great Atmosphere, great music, and great vibes! I highly recommend this business. It's a nice get away while walking down nostalgia alley! Hats off to ownership, and support staff! Brilliant job!

Awesome spot with plenty of fun, vintage pinball machines to play. Nice little bar with drink menu including a great selection of liquors for mixes drinks. Highly recommend checking out this gem, fun for kids as well as adults!!

Stumbled across this place while going to the bar across the road and wow what an amazing place its has so much nostalgia associated with it. It reminds me of retro American movies I used to watch when I was a kid. It's super cheap to play all the games and you can have hours of fun. Make sure to have a few drinks..

Only one of the few greatest places on ??. Have a blast everytime the kids and I go, staff is super friendly and attentive. Fun times, good prices on drinks, endless pin ball for a reasonable rate. Right next to the movie theater so you can catch a show too. Also, sweet merch with super cool designs. If you don't go you are really missing out. Would highly recommend 10/10. Never a disappointment. Oh and they change out machines on the reg. So there is always a reason to keep going back.

We had a great time at Superelectric yesterday! Two adults and two kids, $5 each (family rate) plus a couple of sodas. My children had never played pinball before and had so much fun! The bartender on duty was so nice and regularly wiped down the machines - the place was SPOTLESS. Bonus points for the not creepy Velvis in the corner.

We had my 5 year old's birthday party here and it was a blast! All the parents were so intrigued and excited to know about the place. All the kiddos had great fun. The staff is great and welcoming. Top notch establishment

Awesome place. Adults and kids enjoyed themselves. The guy behind the bar - whom I suspect was the owner - was very friendly and helpful. We will definitely go back.

So much fun. Great atmosphere with super friendly staff.

Yes, I'm healed! Delivered from silent darkness. No more locked doors Or stifled screams. Pinball! What I see now before me Is far beyond the game, Beyond your wildest dreams! Those who love me Have a higher path to follow now. And you, dear mother, too Must be prepared!

I always have a Good time here. Good place to have people meet up and hang out.

Small but fun place with a mix of old, older and even older games. Mostly pinball but a few older mechanical games and one or two video arcade games. Had a giant donut across the street and love the fact I got in a little exercise to work it off. The beer at Superelectric was tempting but that would've nullified the calorie burn I was looking for.

Nice vintage pinball games. Grab a soda or a cocktail and play to your hearts content. Brings back some memories for sure!

Awesome place for a date night. Time Flys when you are having fun. Staff is very friendly . Environment is very comfortable. Lots of options to play different games. Definitely will be back.

Heard about this listening to WHIO in Dayton & had to look this place up. Can't wait to visit on my next trip to Cleveland!

awesome place! lots of pinball options and a full bar. all you can play for a good price. highly recommend...

Great selection of vintage machines. As can be expected with older machines, we had some issues with the tokens etc. but overall...great experience

Friendly staff. Great vintage pinball, upcycled interior. Great place to spend the afternoon.

Very cool place. We went on a Wednesday. Arrived right after they opened at 4 and stayed over 3 hours, but we easily could've spent the entire night there. Friendly staff, clean, fun ambiance, chill atmosphere. If you're into pinball and/or retro video games you should check this place out. We will definitely be spending future date nights here.

Great atmosphere, excellent value for $6 all you can play. Busy but not hard to get on a table when we were there on a Saturday night. Old and new tables plus a few video game cabinets. Street parking half block away. Highly recommend to check out.

Fantastic place! Very relaxed vibes, all games are on free play, just pay $6(!) at the bar

Really enjoyed this place! Got a fantastic deal on Groupon. Many options available. Tried the UFO bug squeeze and Sour Cherry cider. Both were delicious! My wife and son had a great time playing the table and pinball games. The guy at the bar was very friendly and have great recommendations. He actually made us feel like he was happy we were there. Please check this place out!

Good friendly service and atmosphere. Just enough pinball machines. They do serve alcohol and small menu of food .

You pay six bucks and get unlimited plays on all the pinball machines!! Best deal in town! Environment was very clean, friendly, and cozy! I'm from Mansfield but when my boyfriend and l go bank to Lakewood, we will defiantly go back for a cold beer and pinball

This was fun! Fancy beers and drinks- good N/A beer too! Range of old and newer games.

Went today for a birthday party. Also great for family outings. This place is so awesome. It was old pin ball mach. It had a Bar. The owners were very cool. Thursday is date night couples play free. Great place for adults to get a beer and relieve being a kid. Looking forward to going back soon.

I love it here paying $6 for unlimited free play is great, It's best to go early when they first open though. It gets fairly busy and kids will come in Mash the start button until it starts a 4 player game play 1 or 2 balls and then move on to the next game which is really annoying.

The entry fee was quite reasonable, given that we ended up spending about two hours playing the games. By the time we left the parlor had filled up and there was a bit of a wait for some of the games, but we didn't ever have to wait more than a few minutes to get on any one machine - people were pretty good about taking turns.

Very nice crowd. Brought my teens and almost 100 yr old grandma and we all had a good time! The guys in charge were super sweet to us when they realized that it was almost grandmas birthday! Will definitely recommend and be back sometime!

Honestly ,its such a cool place. But it was loaded with kids and the "no camping" signs being totally ignored. Complete waste of money considering that i was there for 20 minutes and couldnt even get on a table. Less children would make it a much better experience. Complete waste of time and money. Its sad because this place has tons of potential.

Have been there twice and plan to go again tonight. The only issue that we had, the 1st time was AWESOME!! The employee or owner, not sure who he was but he was really nice and we had an awesome conversation with him. The 2nd time not so good. Different employee and he was very rude. We we're the only people in there but he acted like we were inconveniencing him when a machine got stuck. Hoping that he isn't there today or this will be my last time going.

Happened upon this place purely by accident and I'm so glad we did! Flat rate per person to play as many games as you'd like and the staff were AWESOME! If we're ever back in the area, we'll definitely be back!

This is a very cool place. Highly recommended. The staff is attentive and friendly. It is a safe place to go, get and stay warm, and have some fun. And one of the better places in the neighborhood to spend some free time. Five bucks in tokens per person will give you about an hour of play time.

Place is fun has drinks no food. No parking lot. Park on side streets or on main road. If you go an hour before they close admission is half off. ($3). Regular admission is $6. They do have a limit to how many people can be inside so plan accordingly. Can make reservations for large groups. Staff is super friendly. Only 2 games weren't working when we went

Where to start. This place was a blast. Pinball machines from several decades. The older ones were the most fun to me, and the cheapest to play. They play on tokens which you can purchase at the counter. About $10/person seemed to be a good number, unless you're a pinball champion who can get replay after replay. The machines are also available for purchase. You can either play outright, or you can play them so much you buy them (?). Overall, fantastic experience. They also have some sodas and beer

A great place to hang out with friends or go to on a first date! If you're a CWRU student, I'd definitely recommend this place to hang out over the weekend. The Superelectric Pinball Parlor boasts 10 vinatge-style pinball machines in a bar-style environment that's great for people of all ages. The staff was really friendly and accommodating, even for a large group of college students. The ambience was nice and the food and drinks were great. My only deterrent, however, is the neighborhood in which the place

Took my partner here because they love pinball and he was very happy with all the playing options! Only complaint was there weren't many non-alcoholic drinks available. Definitely will be back.

Pay one price per person and get all the pinball your heart desires. Great mix of games from old retro 60's style to brand new Avengers. Fun old school video game machine is always popular with kids. Mom and Dad can have a beer or sip wine, or go with a date and see if you get better after that 2cnd drink. Great tunes while you play too! Bonus, bring your own food! They have some nice tables to sit and eat at. This is a great, unique destination for anyone to feel comfortable kicking back a few hours.

LOVE THIS PLACE!!! I always want to come here! And the great part is I can bring the kids or not bc it's for everyone. Date night yes, hanging with the fam yes, in laws in town yes, special event yes! We threw my daughter?s sweet 16 birthday here with just her closest friends and some family and it was wonderful! They kept the cake in the back for me, made the most delicious drinks as they always do this event didn't change that but my adult guests appreciated it as did I, they let us decorate even though t

Where to go for all ages pinball and musical entertainment both live and playlisted. The hippest retro place you could spend time in. The employees are the best and most attentive to their customers. Great for a first date or a family adventure. They do private parties and always strive to make your visit the best.

Staff was super helpful in telling us about all the games that were available and which games would be best suited for our skill level. Great atmosphere and a ton of fun. Could see this as a great place for a fun night out with friends, cute and active date night, or even fun with the kids.

Fun place! Love the Mandalorian and Stranger Things Pinball machines.

Token payment pinball with a variety of classic and new machines. They have a good variety of drinks at reasonable prices. I haven't had food there so I cannot comment on that. Most machines are 2 tokens per game ($0.50) with a few newer ones at 4 tokens. Parking can be a bit of a challenge sometimes due to the theater next door but there are lots of public lots in the general area.

Great for a drink and fun activities--instead of just looking at your phone. They have affordable cocktails, good snack foods (GF friendly), and cool games. We didn't have cash but you can get tokens at the bar with your card. Will definitely go back.

Had a great time here on Saturday night. Had hot dogs and beer down the street and walked here to play some of the pins. Enjoyed the 1970's era machines the best (Eight Ball in particular) and even liked some of the newer games. Some of the games were down, but I guess that happens. Thanks for the good time here!

This place is awesome! The vibes are sweet and the people working are so cool. Totally worth $5! Super cheap for all you can play. Will definitely be returning

Took the family here and the kids begged to come back. Wicked atmosphere, friendly service, affordable games. The assortment of pinball machines is impressive. I haven't tried the food, but the drinks are enough, right?

$10 will buy you two nice beers and enough pinball games to take up an hour. Great fun even if you're not that big into pinball like myself. The staff is super friendly, and they'll help you out if one of their antique machines eat your tokens.

So much fun playing here. Love that it's a 1 time fee and you get unlimited play for the day. They also have a great bar selection with beer and cocktails. Definitely could spend a few hours here

This place is awesome. The concept is really cool. I can tell that it's pinball repair techs that just said..."why not make money on our inventory while we wait for people to buy them?" it's a great idea and it works. The only thing I'd improve that I know they're working on, is to have food and drink options to make it a legit parlor. I love to see older arcade style places do well.

This place is awesome. Great vintage pinball games

Much smaller than I expected. The first 3 games we tried took our tokens and didn't work. We didn't complain because we used a Groupon and already had a good deal. My son had fun, and I could see this being a fun choice for a first date. The gentlemen working were nice enough. Adding photos of the games that took our coins.

Great place, awesome bartenders. Had an idea - Femmes and Thems to the Front on the hour. Players are rotating, but if it's multiple group of men, only the same groups are playing all the machines.

Go and enjoy a night out! $6 for unlimited games is a blast. The hosts were pleasant and welcoming. The beer selection in great. Good pinball, good music and a great hang.

So much fun! Kids will love it and adults too! Ideal for dates or get togethers, even random, nostalgic play time. Haven't had the food, but they hook up the tokens, quarter for token and sometimes bonuses. I think a machine was out of order for a hot minute but it was fixed right away; labor of love. The owner is such an enthusiest that there's a league (also he rocks the multi-ball on Star Trek!). Staff is too nice, so happy and friendly, def will brighten up your night! Getcher coins, kiddos, have a bal

It's so much fun and so cheap! You could spend a good hour here for only 5 bucks! They recently added a small menu to their offerings - I had he fried chicken - it looks nice but I did not find it flavorful- didn't care for the coleslaw either but the pickled daikon was good. I think they do well sticking to the pinball machines !

We visited Superelectric Pinball Parlor for my husband?s birthday and had a blast. The staff was super helpful, the food was awesome (everyone loved the chicken wings) and a good time was had by all. Our group?s age range was 16-grandparents and everyone played the pinball machines. Seeing my father-in-law going from machine to machine playing is something I won't soon forget. We bought the group package so everyone had plenty of pinball time. They are opening a bar soon so my husband and I will be back for

Frequently Asked Questions

What’s it like visiting an arcade today?

It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.

Is it better to go alone or with friends?

Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.

What should I bring to an arcade?

Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.

What’s the best time to visit an arcade?

Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.

Can I meet new people at arcades?

Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.

Are arcades still just for kids?

Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.

Are there events or tournaments I can join?

Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.

What if I’m not great at arcade games?

No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”

Are pinball tables still good in this modern age?

Yes, pinball tables in arcades remain a blast. Their hands-on, skill-driven gameplay delivers a thrill digital games can’t match, blending nostalgia with modern flair. Newer tables from Stern and Jersey Jack feature LCD screens and themes like Avengers or Stranger Things, keeping things exciting. Arcades are seeing a pinball resurgence with vibrant scenes and tournaments like IFPA events drawing crowds. Though less common than video games, pinball’s tactile charm and community vibe make it a standout arcade experience in 2025.

Are retro games in arcades still good in this modern age?

Absolutely, retro games in arcades remain a thrilling draw in 2025! Classics like Pac-Man, Space Invaders, and Street Fighter II offer simple yet addictive gameplay, blending nostalgia with timeless challenge. Modern arcade cabinets often feature crisp displays and restored controls, enhancing the experience. These games thrive on quick reflexes and strategy, with vibrant pixel art and iconic soundtracks that spark joy. Arcades host tournaments and leaderboards, fostering a lively community. While modern games dominate, retro titles provide a unique, accessible thrill that keeps arcades buzzing.
