Reviewers highlight the friendly staff, reasonable prices, and clean, well-maintained facilities. Families appreciate the fun, especially for kids, though some note ride times are short or wish for more shade on the mini-golf course. Customer Reviews

We had fun with go karts and golf!! There are water boat as well

This is such a fun and family friendly place. Love coming here for a round of mini golf, water bumper boats and occasionally a ride on the slick tracks. Prices are reasonable and their hours are great. Everyone is super friendly and it's really clean and well maintained. Love spending an afternoon with the kids here!

Nice go karting place in Sugar Grove. One of the few places where kids 6 to 9 yrs old can drive by themselves in the kids track. Adults can do the regular track and can take another person to sit next to them. They have a nice mini golf range and some other games. They have a few arcades in the main office building. I wish they had some eating area or restaurant in the center.

I went here a few years ago to celebrate ?? my birthday ?? I had lots of fun with my family it was a nice place. I remember riding on the boat ride shooting water ?? on on people we had a water balloon fight lol, arcade and go karts the only thing they didn't have went I went was food ?? I wish they would have had food too. Overall it was nice.

Fun! Fun! Fun! My family loves this place, everything they have is just amazingly fun. Go cart rides for all ages, my five year old loves the go carts. I suggest bringing a pair of safety glasses for the go cart rides because of the debris that fly by can get in your eyes if you are behind someone and try to pass them. Go carts are quite fast and they last about ten laps. The water ride is so much fun as well, you will get wet but it is worth it. Bring a waterproof bag or case to put your cellphone or keys

My 3 kids(13, 11, 5), my husband, and I thoroughly enjoyed this place! We've been here before but it had been a while. The kids working the go karts and the bumper boats are really nice and respectful. My 2 younger kids and I played in the arcade while our oldest and my husband tried out the slick track. It's a nice time anytime we're here. I've already promised my kids that the next time the weather gets nice and hot we'll do the water wars with the water balloons(hopefully that will happen soon!) since th

Cute little spot near our resort. It was during the weekday and we had the whole place to ourselves . We rode go karts, mini golfed and bumper boats. They have a small arcade and really friendly people

Had a great time! Everything looks pretty basic but we were very comfortable and truly enjoyed the open atmosphere. The bigger race course was so fun and exciting, the kids (ranging 11 to 19) had a blast! Very efficient check in and the front desk attendant was very nice and worked hard all by himself. Good job guys. We will be coming back and we will be recommending you to others!

The miniature golf course is a fun family outing for both parents and teens or tweens, or teens on their own. It's clean and well-kept.

It takes us an hour to get here from where we live but it is ALWAYS worth the drive! A summer doesn't go by without a visit. I am always telling people that they need to go. Just the other day I randomly told the guy a drive-thru window. Our favorite things are the Slick Track Go-karts and, of course, Water Wars! If you don't know what Water Wars is you are missing out!!! And on top of the amazing fun is the prices are soooo great! Check it out, you won't regret it!

This place is AWESOME. We had SO MUCH FUN and were really pleased with the prices for having played so many games and activities. We came to just ride the karts but with so many fun options of balloon-launching, water bumper cars and a slick track for carts, we ended up staying to try everything! We even played the arcade games and enjoyed some of the favorite classics from our youth! I love that they have the actual tickets too. There's nothing like watching your kids eyes as the tickets pile up at their f

The is a medium sized place but you can plenty of fun here! We enjoyed the bumper boats and go carts! Prices are reasonable and staff seemed to know how to handle each ride. The games inside leave a bit to be desired but the outside area makes up for it

Nice clean mini golf course. Friendly employees and everything seemed very well maintained. Will be coming back with the family to try out the go karts!

Took all the kids for an after-school event and had a great time. Every single member of the staff we came in contact with was super friendly, definitely not something we're used to. Highly recommend. Gets pricey when you have 5 kids, but that's my problem.

Go Karts ?? Water Wars ?? Bumper Boats ?? The kids (10-12yrs) loved every attraction they had to offer! Staff was attentive and accommodating. Reasonable prices. Informative website. Go Karts for all ages was a big draw! We had a blast here!

Fun place with go-karts, bumper boats, mini golf, and ticket game/arcade. Has an old school vibe to it and reasonable prices for a day out with the kids.

Over the summer, I was on a date, and we drove past and decided to make a pit stop here. We had a blast! We did the water balloon fight, the bumper boats, and the go karts. The prices were decent and we had so much fun.

What a sweet place! My grandson's 6th birthday party was held there. The kids and adults, aka big kids, had a wonderful time. Loved the concept of the space designated as a party room. The staff were kind. Ed was friendly and engaging. My grandson will have a childhood memory that is unforgettable.

This little place has so many things to do I I believe all ages can enjoy something from this place! My family and I were traveling home and just happened to cross this little place it didn't look like much at first but once we unloaded and stepped inside it was a great atmosphere friendly and warm! A big variety of activities like arcade games, bumper boats, mini golf, batting, to Go Carts. My family of five had a great time! Everyone found something they liked! If we are around that area again I'm sure it

This fun center holds such a special place in heart. I grew up down the street and remember spending summer nights & afternoons with my family here (back when summer lasted forever). At the time, I wasn't old/tall enough to drive my own go-kart and had to ride a double with my mom. I dreamt of coming back when I was older to win on my own. But you know how it goes?We all grew up, life moved on, and I moved away 6 years ago. I went home to visit my parents this past summer with my brother, and out of boredom

Great hidden gem of a place! Fast and fun go karts, bumper boats, mini golf and an arcade! They even have a water balloon catapult which is great for a hot summer day. Golf is 18 holes so it takes a while for a whole game but otherwise great experience would recommend.

Lots of fun. Mini golf, bumper boats, water balloon fights, go carts and arcade available. Prices pretty good. We'll be back.

Great place for fun with the family! Very friendly staff and tons to do; ranging from karting to a water balloon fight!

Lots of fun, diverse activities for friends, couples and families. We played mini golf and raced go carts. We will definitely head back for some rematches. (: Staff friendly. Facility clean. Good value.

This was a fun place to go on our way north. The owner was helpful in getting us the right tickets for what we wanted to do. They only had one mini golf course open but it was good. The go carts were fun. Fast, but not too fast.

What a gem of a place! We had my son's 6th birthday here. Such a great value. This place has a little of everything for every age. The 2 seater go karts were a hit with the kids and parents (mostly dads lol) us adults definitely felt like kids again. Ed was accommodating and very kind. All the staff was super friendly. We will definitely be coming back and supporting this local business.

We love taking our grandkids here because they love being here. Mini golf, go carts, bumper boats, water balloon fights and so much more.

This place is pricy for the experience that you are provided. There are a couple different things that you can do including go karts, water bumper, and mini golf each with its own price. The staff is very nice, friendly, and very helpful. We encountered a angry customer and the staff handled it very professionally and resolved the situation in an effective matter. This place was something different to do and if it were not for the price the rating may be higher!

I mean it was fun for my daughters , but you guys should have a limited 2 to 3 hr bracelet instead of paying 20 dollars a ride . I think you are losing revenue by not providing this option. No hard feelings just to expensive. Like you guys could charge 50 for an hour, 89 for two hours 100 for thee

I love this place! It is very well kept and good for all ages! The go karts were fast but safe, the mini golf area is beautiful, staff was friendly. Love supporting this family business!

This little place has two race go-kart tracks. One is regular and the other is a slick track for drifting. OMG I was only here for 45 minutes and the drift track is so muck fun. I plan on visiting this place again.

The staff are genuinely helpful, patient, and all around nice people. Prices are reasonable relative to the other go carts in the area. The grandsons love everything, especially the water balloons. We love this park because it's just a little bit different than the rest.

Just had my son's 8th birthday party here. It was a great experience! Reserved a party room which was nice. Definitely recommend everyone had a great time

Took my kids here. They have go kart tracks one track for 6-9 yr. old and the other was 10 years & above which my kids were grateful cause they are 10 & 11. They also have bumper boats I went on it and couldn't figure out how to drive it and when I finally figured it out the ride was over so boo! My favorite thing to do there were the spring loaded water balloons with my kids on a hot humid day. Wished they'd give you more balloons though cause I popped 2 of them in my hands. We didn't do the mini golf but

It was so.much fun. Better than I expected. And real classic. Can't wait to come back.

Great spot for my kids. They had a blast on mini golf and go karts. Very well maintained and reasonably priced.

We had the BEST time. Everyone was so kind and helpful. Employees seemed to enjoy their jobs and they were so nice to my kids!

Not a bad place to take the kids for a bit of time away from their TV screens to enjoy some Go-Karts or golf... only down side is the amount of money spent, couple with the fact you get people who get on the karts just to be tools (young adult bumping my son and causing him to crash, hurt his leg and yet my son was the one pulled in). Desk worker and the track attendants (minus the incident stated above) are pretty friendly, even the driving range person was nice. May return again next month, who knows.

Go carts are extremely slow. Not fun if you want to bring a group of boys for a fun racing experience. I would recommend finding another place. Too expensive for slow carts.

My son and I visit several times a year for the last 5 years. All equipment is up and running, well maintain. Very clean facility. Always a good time and staff is very helpful. 2 Go-kart tracks. Slick track is great for Drifting if you know how.

This place is great! We've had a birthday party here which was an absolute blast, and visit occasionally to ride the go-karts. There are 3 levels of karts and two different tracks. Only downside is the kids never want to leave lol.

For what it's worth, it's not that bad. It's shabby here and there, the attractions are limited and the prices a little pricy. Yet if you come with a fun group of people, then you'll enjoy your time and ignore the rusting, run-down games and attractions. In conclusion, not necessarily worth the price. The food truck nearby does not smell appetizing, nor is the pizza place nearby. There's approximately only like 4 workers in the location. The water is like bubbly and weird feeling so not exciting to be soak

A few different activities to try here. Go karts are reasonably priced. There's even a track that's intentionally slick so you can "drift" like in the movies. Bumper boats are great on a hot day since you can have a water fight during the ride.

We had a great time here the weather was great for the outdoor activities!!

Great place to take kids and enjoy the day

Its nice for some quick fun with family, however it would be much better if the teens working there would be a little nicer or actually pay attention to their surroundings rather than standing around on their phones. The go kart area girls were pretty rude.. It was unpleasant.

We had our son's birthday party today. We got poured on rain right when the party started. They let us come in late and stay late. Everyone said that was the best birthday party they went 2. And one of our favorites, too. This place did not hurt our pockets. The mini golf was a blast. The bumper boats were fun. And I like they had a track for the little ones to drive by themselves. We seen them sanitize everything before and after we used it. We will definitely be back. Thanks again!

Took the lady friend there for a nice evening. The owner/manager just didn't seem to enjoy seeing anyone there. We got our tickets for the go-karts and mini-golf. We said we wanted two for each. I get that things can be stressful with a bunch of kids running all over the place for countless hours. But don't take it out on us adults trying to have a good time.

Great place for hosting birthday parties. In the heat of summer it's great to have the bumper boats and go carts to cool down. The mini golf course is in good shape if a bit lacking in decor. The water wars go quick but can result in a good soaking if someone's aim is true.

We all had a great time! We did both race tracks, water bumper boats (sooo fun), mini-golf & the Water Wars water balloon fight!! Nice hot day, not very crowded & very friendly employees!! We will go back. Reasonably priced, too! There's even a game room but, we didn't do any.

fun go karts with a separate track for younger kids and a different one for older. it's a good place to spend an hour or two-not a whole day

Kids had fun and there's some fun things for them! We were able to bring outside pizza from a pizza place

LOVED THIS PLACE! Enjoyed the Go-Kart and the Water Spray Ride. We were a group of 20, they were very accommodating. And tickets were about $6-7. Group package deals are available too but we went with 2 rides repeatedly only. Haha

Fun for all ages! The water balloon wars was a blast! Bumper boats were great and the kids (8-12yrs old) got to drive in their own without an adult. Very friendly service too. Recommend tgis place for little kids and adults both!

A fun place to go with the kids! The go carts are my kids favorites, but other choices are available as well. One concern I have is the way it appears the owner(s) treat the teenagers working there. There have been a couple occasions where the owner has been rude to some of the teenage workers. I understand that there is a learning curve, but it's important to treat our young adults with respect as well! It has been noticable and does not come off well as a customer bringing in a family.

A perfect day to go to the fun center - a lot of schools in the area were already in session, so our grandsons and we practically had the place to ourselves . . but that didn't take away from the friendly, personal service by the folks who run the place. They're friendly, helpful . . . our boys (7 and 12) had to go on the bumper boats twice as well as doing the water war twice. They were reluctant to leave . . . we all had a great time, at a great place for families and/or grandparents with their grandchi

They have a fun variety of things to choose from. The Bumper Boats were and Water Wars were very exciting for my kids. Go karts were great, especially that ages 6 and up can drive their own. Bumper boat ride needs to be longer.

We love spending a couple hours here. From a round of mini golf, water bumper boats to Go Karts for 6yrs and up my family of 6 can all partake in all the fun!! Only place I've found that lets 6yr old drive! My boys love this place! Great deals and nice staff and always clean!

I see many negative reviews on this place and I 1000% disagree. This owner is very nice and always provides a safe and happy environment! His staff are amazing letting you ride a little longer if less people are present. I've been going there for years with friends and not once have I had a bad experience. I encourage everyone to go if they haven't.

Did the mini golf for $17 for two people, 18 holes. You could barely hear the music, not sure if that was the point but I wish you could have heard it louder. The go karts looked really fun!

Very pricey in my opinion. The owner does not seem happy to be there ever... He needs new arcade toys.. or drop down the ticket number needed to win. The arcade is small and for the amount of tickets you get back... I'm sorry 10 tickets for 1 Tootsie roll?? At least 3 for 10. Twizzlers are 20 tickets each and a damn bouncy ball is 30? Makes no sense. Place is a rip off in my eyes.

I use the driving range quite a bit. Good prices for the small, Medium, and large baskets of balls

What a super fun place! I just took my son for his birthday to Sugar Grove Family Fun Center and we all had a blast! The place is not huge, but big enough to spend an hour or two. They offer mini golf, go carts, water launcher, water bumper boats, and some arcade games. They have go carts for 6-9 yr olds and two seater ones that you can have a younger child ( not sure age min) with an adult ride along or 10 and up can ride alone.

Four of us went and we all had a great time ??. Our ages ranged from 8 to 57. We enjoyed all the activities. The right year old drove a go cart for the first time and couldn't wait to do it again.

What can I say the place is pretty nice. There is a couple downfalls though that everyone should know about before traveling a far distance like my family and I did. Upon arrival the place was spectacular looking, the kart tracks looked especially thrilling, but when we went to get tickets we were offered 10 kart rides for 60$, which we thought was awesome. We went to the track got all situated and then it was time to race, around we went about five laps and it was over it couldn't have been but maybe five

Fun place to race go carts, you have to try the slick track! They record your lap times and give you a printout at the end, it's pretty cool because even if you're behind someone you can still beat them in lap times! Even great for all ages, they have smaller carts and passenger carts that younger ones can ride next to an adult. There's even a mini golf course and something called water wars, plenty of fun for anyone!

We went for the go-carts because it was open and outside. My 10 and 7 year olds loved it. The 7 year old was disappointed at first that he could not drive, so make sure you understand the requirements. He had a blast as a passenger, so all was well.

Grandkids and I had fun. Unfortunately, no shade on the mini golf course. Glad we did the bumper boats 2nd, so could cool of with the squirt guns. Go carts had equal power but couldn't get around grandson as he was too good at holding the curves. Didn't do the water wars or arcade.

Wasn't a big fan of the mini golf. Was kind of boring and unexciting. Kids seemed to enjoy it so-so. They absolutely LOVED the water wars though! You shoot water balloons out of a basket like a giant sling shot at your opponent who is doing the same to you. If you hit the target, a big bucket of water gets tossed at them. Or you could just aim for the holes in the roof of their canopy and hope the balloon hits them directly. It's a ton of fun. The rest of the place is the same as your average fun center. Go

Nice place to be at good pricing and went there for 5th grade celebration I had a blast and the staff was so nice even one staff member gave me a water bottle I will recommend to all my friends

My family visited Sugar Grove Family Fun Center yesterday. This place is awesome! My kids had a blast driving the Go-Karts. The owner and staff were very friendly and helpful. Will definitely be going back!

We were there last week 6 of us and had a blast . Thoroughly enjoyed the place. Mini golf was fun , enjoyed go kart , bumper boats and water war . Fun for all age groups!!Very friendly and amazing staff!!!

Love this place. Visit every time we're in from Nashville. Owner is super cool, always working there personally, and the young people he hires are extremely polite and contagiously fun

I was working on taking a large group( I run a non-profit for dogs) here and no one ever responded to my emails or group requests. After waiting two weeks I called and the rudest manager told me he has two people on the clock and I better be ready to wait . He sounded bothered to be at work, spoke in a demeaning tone, and was far from a problem solver. Do not take your business here . Go to Volcano Falls they will appreciate you.

I went here so many times it's so fun ??????

Bad customer service. When we showed the owner or manager the groupon code that did $15 for $30 worth of activities, he gave us an attitude about it. The whole staff had an attitude, especially the owner/ manager. We gave them a lot of money which we heavily regret now. If management and staff changes, I will be glad to return there. Having food there too wouldn't hurt business either. They need to treat their customers better even when it's hot outside or they will keep losing business.

I would recommend this place for young parents with young children. This is a perfect family spot. We just sat outside the fence and enjoyed our lunch we didn't actually go into the fun Center, but you can see everything, and family time was defiantly being spent here by the locals.

So, I've lived near this business for years and finally had the opportunity to give it a try. Specifically to take my daughter Go-Carting for the first time. It was a bit pricier than most but the carts were in really good condition and the track was excellent. We were told 6 laps for $8, so I bought us each two races. Well, what he failed to mention was that not only are you limited to 6 laps, but that you're also on a timer. Whichever occurs/expires first is when your race ends. Being her first time, she

Pretty cool place. The miniture golf had 18 holes but they're just putting green. No special features to hit your ball over, under, or through.

Good place for kids to have some fun and we've been here before but in the midst of a pandemic no employee was wearing a mask nor did I see any equipment being sanitized. I watched countless people ride go carts without cleaning after use. Just didn't seem like anyone really cared.

We had a blast!!! firs of all the place is clean and staff is very friendly and helpful. Fun Mini golf course. We did not get in to a water attraction but it was very tempting. on out next visit ther I will pack extra towels and extra shirts for my little ones. And here are go karts...o what a fun!!!. There are two different ones. But the most exiting is than my 6 year old son could ride on the Rookie Track all by him self. On the same track adults can try a Slick, where the karts go up to 30 35 mph. And t

Terrible employees. They really need to rehire or retrain these people. Most were lazy and doing nothing, but a few were actually doing what they're being paid to do. Only good one was an older guy who was actually nice and talked to us. Overall just rude employees that definitely have a passive aggressive attitude. One lady works there that I don't even know how she got hired because based on the things she said to customers, (swearing at them), I wouldn't hire her even for free. She should be fired. Don't

Really fun place to go. Go karts are really fun, the water bumper karts are also fun, the mini golf course is fun. The water wars was surprisingly great. Only downside is that ride times are a tad short.

We had fun! We did mini golf and go karts as a family. (Two adults/two teens) Great price.

Seriously couldn't have asked for more on a short day with the family. Go karts. Mini golf. Games to earn tickets for prizes. You're not gonna spend all day here. It's a quick day out of the house, 90 minutes to 2 hours in my opinion. If you want to shoosh any child 7 and under for a while, come here.

Not too many places around like this anymore and it was a blast! Go-karting for both adults and kids, mini golf, bumper boats and arcade games! So much fun and a great price too!

Fun little spot! Did a quick stop on our way out of town - mini golf and go karts. Not horribly expensive either. The gentleman working the register inside was very kind!

Go karts are fast and fun. The mini golf course had new turf. Staff was excellent. Only high praises for Sugar Grove Family Fun Center

Frequently Asked Questions

What’s it like visiting an arcade today?

It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.

Is it better to go alone or with friends?

Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.

What should I bring to an arcade?

Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.

What’s the best time to visit an arcade?

Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.

Can I meet new people at arcades?

Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.

Are arcades still just for kids?

Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.

Are there events or tournaments I can join?

Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.

What if I’m not great at arcade games?

No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
