Strikers

Strikers

Reviews Summary

Strikers offers a mixed experience with many praising its fun atmosphere, friendly staff, and good food, especially for family outings and parties. Bowling, arcade games, and simulators are highlights, though some find pricing high. However, inconsistent service, malfunctioning equipment, and occasional rudeness draw criticism, particularly regarding broken lanes and refund issues. While some visitors rave about cleanliness and attentive staff, others leave frustrated by poor management and high costs. Overall, it’s a popular spot with potential, but quality varies.

Customer Reviews

First time here. Food was good, but the service was terrible. Orders cheese curds for appetizers and they came as we were finishing our meal. Waitress seemed like she could have cared less.

Reservations mean nothing at this business. Reserved a room for a birthday party but they gave it to a larger group that would spend more money than the $500 i paid. Overpriced and rude. Jc businesses struggle and fail, this one will fail so help get rid of it by not giving them your money. I know I will never return. What a joke!!!

Nice atmosphere, very well set up although the bowling lanes don't have enough room. My wife, kid and I all struggled to find room to sit while waiting to bowl. Went to the restaurant afterwards, sat down like the sign said and had to be helped by the manager, while the waitress walked passed us several times. Took forever for the food as well. Nice for the bowling and arcade but wouldn't recommend the restaurant.

Came here for the first time today, for my sons 15th birthday. This is the nicest bowling alley and entertainment space I've seen locally. Very clean environment, staff are very nice. My son enjoyed the arcade games and the nachos were great. Will definitely be back.

Great lanes for family fun. Giant crane machine is pretty great!! Not to mention pool tables, golf simulator, and a few slots.Need to bring back the mustard for the pretzel bites tho and we're all wishing they had a rewards program..

Awesome family, friendly place! Staff are exceptional, food is delicious, and they have everything you need to make a fun night out! Definitely a go to!

Love coming here with the entire family... the staff is fantastic and always with great attitudes. I love love love their nachos, freaking fantastic! Perfect place for birthday parties! Again, the staff is so freaking nice and work amazingly hard so you have a great time celebrating!

Had a lot of fun with my husband here! Also, we are truck drivers and can fit in bobtail or with a trailer and have a good time. We really really really appreciate a business who treats us like humans. Thank you!

We had a great time. Food served right to your lane. Easy to use tablet and fun ways bowl and score points with different games. You can still bowl a traditional game if you prefer. Done bowling, send the kids to the arcade. It's a fun evening with the family.

I decided i wanted bowl for my 33rd birthday. The wife decided it needed to be a big thing. So we had a huge group. We reserved everything in advance. And like most things...it had its hiccups. HOWEVER... the staff and the manager did everything they could to make it right and we truly appreciated that. Everyone had a great time and bowled their hearts out and enjoyed the pretty delicious pizza. P

The business is a new place for my area but very much appreciated. Plenty of parking and the building has just been remodeled. Lots of arcade games for kids and several bowling lanes to choose from. The food was good but a little pricey for me. The overall experience was exactly what this town needed. Good Clean family fun. I will definitely bring my family back

I enjoyed bowling here with my kids! The food was really good and the service was great!

Took our 8 and 10 year old for bowling and food!! Staff was super friendly food was HOT and tasty!! Relaxing experience! Will definitely be back maybe even a date night!!! ??

Staff is very friendly and accommodating. Food is always delicious! Great place to meet up with friends and just hang out!

Horrible service. If you plan on eating here think again. We sat at a table for over an hour and not one person asked if we wanted to place an order. We were told by other people that we should place our order online. So we did, another hour passes still no food. So I went to talk to someone and needless to say I was told that's not there department. Finally found our food sitting on the bar when we clearly put our table number in. Food was wrong, not surprised bc they cannot read. The place is cool but f

Great staff!! Easy to work with! My son had his 10th bday party there. They made it such a special day!! Thank you Strikers!!!

The food wasn't your typical bowling alley food, the wings and French dip sandwich was the best, the place was clean and staff was friendly. Awesome place

We went to Strikers for my sons birthday. He had a great time and the service was great. We did the silver package and it was totally worth it. We will be back again!

Customer service is rude We paid for their private room and told them we had 18 people got here and they said we can only have up to 15 people. They also leave shoes on their bar. We could not reach them for the longest time. Had to keep calling and we even tried to email them. No luck. Finally got a hold of them like the 10th time we called.

Took my nephew there he had a blast food was really good people were friendly

We had a 12 person birthday.bowling party, our waiter service was outstanding. We are already planning on reserving another party again. VIP room next time. This is a great establishment/entertainment for the Jefferson City area

Arrived on a Sunday. Discovered open hours are until 8pm. Kind of early? All arcade games shut off 15 minutes prior to closing. Clear disappointment on a few parents faces.

This place is really improved since the remodel and I love the new look. I enjoy bringing my family here.... I came last night and the waitress was above and beyond amazing.. she left us so satisfied and happy. Shout out to server Erica hansbrough because you deserve a raise. I will definitely be back ... Also kudos to the bartender because the drinks were on point.

We went black Friday. 2 hour wait...unable to check-in online the day before or that morning. 6 adults kinda had a 3 yo occasionally try to bowl but after the wait he was done. 70$ for shoes/60min to bowl one game. We didn't waste any time but it wasn't enough time. They should have said we needed two lanes. 3 of us didn't get to finish. Another 50$ on pregame overpriced arcades to try to keep a 3 yo happy. 3.25 for a soda 25 for beer and a lot of attitude from the bar...not the waitress but possibly th

Price kinda high, still had nice time

I'd been here for a couple events and I'd taken my kid here for the arcade a few times. We'd enjoyed it enough that he wanted to come bowl and play for his 6th birthday. My wife, him, and I bowled a single game at a cost over 40 dollars! We get to the lane and it's malfunctioning. They fixed is quick enough but there was no apology. The only other parties bowling were being waited on and served drinks. No one came over to ask about drinks or food while we stood around waiting on the fix. We actually didnt g

They have all the goods. Best bowling alley I've been to in a few years. Balls were a little lack luster. Some of the holes spread my fingers out too much but there were some that were perfect. Pizza is a bit over priced 14 dollars for what seemed like a frozen pizza.

Pretty good place overall. Clean and good people working there. Top of the line lanes and equipment. Minor complaints: No pitchers of beer for purchase, and no ice cream cake allowed in for a birthday party. If the problem is the potential mess this might create by lane renter's - could maybe charge a $50 deposit? If no mess, then you get your deposit back afterwards?

Great for family, friends and whoever may attend. Had the BBQ Burger with Fries while waiting for a lane to open! Great flavor and Price. Would order again. They do take reservations online I would suggest this to anyone thinking of visiting them. Already planning the next trip back to try out their simulators.

The interior was pretty nice. Large area for the arcades but when you look at what you get for the tickets you recieved its pretty chintzy. The bowling lanes were very good. We had a great young man named Zack who took care of us and made it nice not to get up to go get stuff. Grandchildren and wife had a great time bowling.

This is worst place ever to go to very high priced they would not clean the lanes people fell they did not care they only care about getting your money people do not go here horrible place ever 12.99 a game that is ridiculous wow manager isn't friendly either !!!! Do not go unless you want to spend All your money for them to NOT service lanes and help they do not care about the people.

For the amount of money you have to pay each week, we should have lanes that actually function correctly and not break down constantly. The lanes are EXTREMELY oily every week now. Am told the oil machine isnt working right. Couch cushions always reek of piss. The staff rarely pays attention because they're too busy playing around with their friends. I'll never bowl here again after this season. Another week....another broken lane. Ridiculous!

Lots to do. Good food and definitely try the Painted Pin drink

Food and drinks were great, we had fun bowling and arcade games. Service was a little weird, had a little bump in the road with what seemed to be management/security? We had a large party of people that had never been so there was some confusion but they made up for it and we got to experience vip section which was awesome although not as great as expected. Could have been more closed off and we had to wait on service sometimes. Prices were pretty high but wish we would have paid for more than an hour. As f

I enjoyed bowling there. But the snacks and food were a little too high priced. But it seems that it was necessary for them to do that since it was redone over. The people were very polite. I don't know anything more about the place since it was my first time going there. It's a very enjoyable place. But I would not go that much. Unless you have enough money to spend.

Great place to have a kids birthday! We rented the VIP room for about 20 -10 year olds and had a great time. Service was great and the staff went above and beyond to make sure we had what we needed. The pizza was delicious, and they made sure to keep our drinks filled. The kids also had a blast playing all the video games. 10/10 would definitely recommend.

During our visit, the General Manager rudely interrupted my child while she was trying to ask the associate for help in the prize room. What kind of decent human being thinks it's okay to interrupt a customer, especially an innocent child? My daughter was understandably upset after the incident. It's worth the trip to travel to Level Up for better service and games. I'm not sure why Jefferson City doesn't have more family-friendly businesses.

Every experience we've had here has been a great one. Their lunch specials are what we find ourselves stopping in for more than anything, and they do not disappoint! If you haven't discovered their bargain of a lunch special, you're missing out! We also LOVE kids night on Monday?s and are so happy to have a fun place to go in Jeff City!

Last night, the GLVC staff and athletic administration in the conference went to Strikers bowl. Some of Striker bowl staff, Mike, Kloie, Jeremy & Lindsay went above and beyond as they opened up the bowling ally just for us which was truly a special touch. These four staff members catered to our every need and always had a huge smile on their face. The food was exceptional, adding to the overall great experience. The environment was vibrant and welcoming, making it the perfect back-drop to a fun-filled even

Safe & Pleasant environment. Check it out. Stress reliever. Have fun.

Had a great experience with a birthday party for my son. Tara, Lindsey, Ronnie, the front desk, and the guys working the lanes were all wonderful. Food was good and kids had a blast. Thank you!

The games ,food and service were great!

Very crowded. Way overpriced. Went to attend A birthday party for a young family member. Arrived to our reserved table 15 minutes early so we could decorate for the party to find it was in use by a family eating a meal. There was no reserved sign so we found a staff member to inquire about our reservation and immediately caught attitude. The staff member told us that the table was not available to use until the family was finished with their meal. We mentioned that we were assured on the phone that we could

We were rudely told to put away a drink and while we were sitting getting ready to leave, we were told that ?you can't just be dropped off? and that ?you have to drive in order to be here?. We were both adults being treated as children. We took an Uber to and from here with no issues. We were paying customers to Strikers with or without a car, I don't see how this would matter or if this is even in the policy. The same lady made one announcement at 2pm telling everyone they need to leave at 3:30pm for a pri

Our soccer team went to Strikers while in town for a tournament and the team had a great time. The team had a great time in the simulators, bowling, and games. The food was amazing and the staff was on point. We highly recommend Strikers and will be back.

ill be sure to tell all of my teenage/highschool to never come here again! You guys have really nasty attitudes towards younger people and I mainly blame your guys GM. She has given nothing but bad experiences to so many people and the fact that she's still there shows you guys don't care about your reputation with Jefferson City. 1. Friday Saturday nights are weekends for everyone not just people over 21, and assuming people?s age instead of just asking for an ID is bad business that your GM seems to pract

Pay 100 dollars for ?VIP? bowling. That advertises a dedicated server, we bowled our entire time and never once even saw a server. Why do you advertise ?no waiting in lines for drinks? when you have to walk across the entire venue to go get a drink. Pretty outrageous for the money yall charge. Brought it up with the front desk and was given a ?uhhhhh I'm not sure?! Highly doubt we will return.

This is a great destination for date night or family fun. There is so much to do! We enjoyed the food, the service was excellent and the atmosphere was so much fun. We will be coming here again.

In Jeff City for business. Colleagues and I decided to visit Strikers at 530 on 7/17 as it was next door to our hotel. Walked in and sign said seat yourself and server would be with you. 20 minutes later still no acknowledgement that we were in the room. Made eye contact with bar tender and server but neither of them gave us the time of day. Place was not busy. We walked out. Too bad you guys missed a large bar tab and food order.

We had a great time celebrating a birthday here.

Pretty establishment, Food was not very good especially right when they open at 11am not fresh and was cold, server was not attentive at all, had to go to the bar not once but twice to get soft drinks. Games our a bit out dated or don't work. Staff definitely needs to be retrained and management needs to recognize this is not a bar setting like they are use to.. ( spectators or the office) overall this place is a good addition to Jeff city but definitely needs some work.

Had a blast bowled for 2 hours will be back for sure can't say about the food we didn't eat there but it looked good

The place was really clean! They checked on our group a couple of times. We were there roughly 2 hours. The lights were good, and we weren't cramped in lanes near others.

Place was great a year ago it had a 5 stars from me. Went back it's still wicked expensive. The food was really bad and expensive. Our bowling lane was malfunctioning at the end of our time and we lost 20 minutes of play. I said something and they gave us an extra 15 minutes which was nice. Better than nothing. I guess it's just hard for me to justify going bowling for those prices.

Looks amazing on the inside! Games are pretty overpriced though but that wasn't wasn't the worst part. The bartender on Saturday 3/25 was absolutely horrible. He was extremely rude and they were not super busy. I was ordering and food and a soda . Lord you thought i asked him to build a mountain, he was rude to most of the customers. Dude would neve make it as a real bartender in an actual bar.a beer for my

We were very impressed with the place and the layout. Very family friendly and spacious. We had a pretty big group and had plenty to do and plenty of room. The bowling was very fun, the staff honestly were very helpful, and friendly. Our waitress was top notch!! And the pizza! Yess!! Delicious and a decent price. Great place!

Very impressive....I grew up in Jefferson City what a great addition

Overpriced and dirty. Customer service is extremely rude, waited most of our bowling time on lanes not returning balls. Food is good but you pay a lot for basically bar food. Spent almost $200 to bowl for 2 hours personally and then tried to price a Christmas party and wanted $2,000 for 3 hours and not willing to negotiate. All in all not worth it.

The staff was attentive and friendly. This was our first visit, and I look forward to coming back. My only issue would be that the simulator did not meet my expectations. It could be a user error, but I felt like the soccer had poor response and accuracy.

Went on a fairly busy Saturday afternoon. Most of the business was arcade gaming and bowling. Games are cool but food service SUCKED. Probably 15 employees wandering around and 2 or 3 actually serving the 3 or 4 tables that were seated to eat. Had to go to the bar to get drink refills (waters) while seated at the table. Food took 45+ minutes (nachos, kids burger, and chicken drums). Was charged for a beer that no one ordered, paid in cash, and instead of giving us the cash back the lady who I assume was a m

My family and I were very excited to go to Strikers but we left extremely disappointed. The food was very tasty and lots of options which was great! Drinks on the other hand are very expensive and poorly made. I don't mind paying $11 for a drink if it's going to be good. The bowling was fun but the service was not. They were not busy and I went up to the desk multiple times and no one was there or around to help when there were issues with our bowling lane. This place has a ton of potential...just very poor

This is honestly the best arcade/bowling place in Missouri! Even though there a not as many arcade game (which they said more are coming soon) it's really fun. The employees are very nice and so is the food. I would recommend coming here. This is definitely a place I would go to grab a drink with my friends

Strikers is amazing!!! I felt very safe especially with Greg, the striker?s professional security guard. The food was outstanding and the bowling lanes were beautiful. The management was very helpful and polite. This is an amazing and safe place for a family outing, or a night out with friends. I LOVE STIKERS !!!

It is a great bowling place, but the prices are way to high, it's ridiculous. They also don't have as many lanes as capital bowl did so if you don't reserve, wait times can be long. Also, the staff is inconsistent with the information they provide. When I went there to scope out the price, they told me one lane without reservation is $40, but when I went back earlier that day, I was charged $60. The arcade is pretty nice though. Capital bowl was much better.

I went there twice and was racially profiled by a lady "manager" with short hair who was giving Karen vibe the entire time I was there! She started accusing me of ridiculous things while I was just trying to have fun with my friend! She would come and stare at us and claim that we are bothering other people and kept on threatening to throw us out! The other 2 groups that were there kept of shouting, screaming and horsing around but my group since it had mostly black people was profiled ever since we asked f

The staff were awesome, super friendly. But the simulators need to be redone or repriced because half of them don't work & you can't get a refund on them, only switch your dates

Great Service. Food was really good & came pretty quickly. I ordered the Pulled Pork Sandwich with Chips. Checked out the arcade area this evening with our 5 year old, he loved it & it kept us occupied. Can't wait to go back & check out the bowling.

Holy smokes, they went all out on the rebuild... My first impression was "This place got FANCY!" because the look and overall atmosphere is modern & luxe. There is such a variety packed into this place-- new and fresh arcade games for all ages (our oldest set the record on the baseball throw!) simulation rooms, bowling, old school coin-operated games, pool tables, plus a restaurant and bar. The bowling seemed priced pretty high, but that's to be expected-- stuff this fancy isn't free! Overall, I highly

Nice, clean environment, decent food - though it took a long time to come. Plenty of games to play. Good deal on Mon nights, kids get a 30min game card, my boys loved it.

There are lots of things to do here! The kids can play a large variety of games and earn points for prizes. The food is surprisingly good for a bowling alley. Bowling is priced by the hour, not by game. BUT.....bring LOTS of money!! This venue is not cheap. It's extremely easy to drop over $100 even in a smaller group of people with food, games, drinks, and bowling.

We had a good time until we were done. Some teenage kid employee was lurking before our time was even up. I was there with my 80+ year old parents and my tween kids. The SECOND the timer went off to indicate that our time was up, two young boys were right there hovering over us as we literally took 2 minutes to gather our stuff up. He is grabbing our drinks moving them on to some counter nearby, moving our phones. My wife was in the bathroom, the moment the timer went off and he's asking me about wha

Got there all the regular lanes were open, was told it would be a 11 minute wait for a lane. Took my name, and when it was open was not told it was in the VIP bowling area. Paid and was not told were the lane was located, no numbers on screens. When I realized that I was charged extra was only given $10 back not what I was over charged. No servers asked if we wanted anything to eat or drink while there.

Not worth the money! My husband wanted me to have a memorable birthday party for my 45th so he rented out the VIP room with the Silver VIP package. NOT WORTH IT WAY OVER PRICED for what you get! If you just get regular lanes it's cheaper and you get more WTH!?! if you get regular lanes you get pizza, drinks lanes, shoe rental and each guest gets a $10 game card....VIP NO game cards. I'm Sorry but WHAT THE HELL does $500 bucks get you...a room that anyone can walk into, 4 pizzas and drinks, shoes and 4 lanes

We went to strikers to celebrate Father?s Day. I tried calling to reserve two lanes for our party but the line just continued ringing with no answer. I tried a different number linked on the website, but got the same result. Luckily, they weren't too busy and we were able to walk in and get two lanes. Our lane continued to have maintenance issues. No staff members noticed we had put in a call for help for a number of minutes. We eventually went to the front desk and they sent for maintenance. Our lane conti

The staff were very friendly and helpful, the food was pretty good, the atmosphere was pleasant, and the arcade games were a lot of fun (especially the King Kong VR game). Definitely planning on going back. Wanna try out the pool tables :)

It's really nice inside!!! The bowling cost is by the hour, this way you feel like you are in a race. There was a lane we had that had a lot of mechanical problems that caused us not to be able to finish the first game before the time ran out. The hook game has a smaller door to be able to get a bigger bouncing ball you won out of it. I won a ball and it took an employee to pull it out, when he did it thinly ripped the plastic to make a small pin hole in it. So, it slowly leaked air out. I told an employee

They wanted $30 to bowl for 1 hour. Bowl! That seems pretty high for 1 hour of entertainment. I could probably play two rounds of golf eat three dinners or watch three movies all of which would last longer than 1 hour of bowling. Hard pass

Was a nice bowling alley. The arcade was okay. They had really good food. Was also a little pricey but what's not anymore. I haven't been back in some time, I would go again if invited by someone though.

Had a great time and everyone that works there were awesome

Decided to try this place out since they just opened. Pizza was pretty hard. Had to saw at it with a butter knife. It took about 3 hours for them to allocate an alley to us and when the time finally came the total came to over $250 for just bowling. Arcade games were alright. Hopefully they get better with time.

It's grown since I last bowled there with my kids. Wouldn't give lane info over phone. Once there givien a broken lane without the option of waiting for one that works. Sad kids for the night.

Good place, the fries were hot and amazing, the pool tables cost 4 quarters and was a good expirence with my father. Strikers wasn't really all that busy.

Simulator wasn't working they kept saying they wouldn't refund, staff completely rude. Once they finally decided to refund it was split half for the arcade and half for bowling and we just wanted a full amount for the bowling since our party was unable to bowl. On top of it they didn't even refund the full amount. Unacceptable customer service, if you have lanes that don't work close them and don't charge people.

Absolutely great place for Jefferson City finally.. The family center has thought of everything.. It was rebuilt after the tornado came through here. There is lots of parking, there's a learner's bowling set up, Many game machines, cool tables, lots of seating Everywhere,Plenty of tables at the restaurant areaAnd a full bar.

Food is very expensive and so is drinks. It is extremely noisy. You can expect some noise at the bowling area, but the entire building including the restaurant is so noisy you can't talk to people across the table. They could correct some of the noise by turning down the music and adding acoustic ceiling blankets and wall tiles. Everything has hard surface so sound is really high

Went bowling with my daughter's, and some of their friends had a great time, $25 dollars a hour. Shoes 4.50. They have an OK bowling in a 31 different Interactive Scenarios for you to play.

Great evening. Fantastic staff, food & drinks

It's a great place, with a diverse set of entertainment. From simulators to virtual reality, to ticket reward games, to bowling, there's something for everyone here. If bowling in leagues, it is a little cramped, but the lanes are very good (new).

Frequently Asked Questions

What’s it like visiting an arcade today?

It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.

Is it better to go alone or with friends?

Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.

What should I bring to an arcade?

Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.

What’s the best time to visit an arcade?

Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.

Can I meet new people at arcades?

Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.

Are arcades still just for kids?

Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.

Are there events or tournaments I can join?

Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.

What if I’m not great at arcade games?

No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”

Are virtual reality games in arcades worth playing?

Yes, virtual reality (VR) games in arcades are a top attraction in 2025! Titles like Beat Saber and Half-Life: Alyx deliver immersive thrills with cutting-edge headsets, motion tracking, and responsive controllers. High-resolution displays and spatial audio create heart-pounding experiences, from slashing rhythms to battling zombies. Arcades feature multiplayer VR zones and tournaments, fostering lively communities. VR booths are regularly packed, proving their captivating, next-level gameplay makes them a must-try arcade experience.

Why are arcade prize games so exciting to play?

Arcade prize games are a thrilling highlight in 2025! Claw machines, skee-ball, and ticket-redemption games like basketball offer a rush of skill and chance, with rewards like plushies, toys, or electronics up for grabs. Modern machines feature vibrant lights, digital scoreboards, and responsive controls, amplifying the fun. The lively arcade atmosphere, with cheering crowds and buzzing energy, makes every win feel epic.
