Stratosphere Social

It all was okay. The service was slow but fine. The food was just okay as well. The arcade is VERY expensive. $20 was gone in minutes. A majority of games are likely several dollars per game. I didn't do the math of points to dollars per game. Bowling is a good deal though. $40 for a lane for an hour + $5 shoes per person. I'd return to just bowl but it's unlikely we will return to bowl.

Taking a moment to thank Luci/the Stratosphere team for making our event a success! The space was appealing, staff was friendly/timely (shout out our server, Amaya), and the food/drinks were great (we ordered pizzas, wraps, and a fruit platter). Our group loved the backyard space where we could decorate ahead of time and play the various active games like corn hole, bocci ball, and jenga. I recommend hosting your next event here!

So, perfectly fine place to go ax throwing. They have the same games/ boards as elsewhere. The service is great, and they have a full bar. The bowling lanes looked nice, but we weren't able to try them as they said they didn't have any available during 'social hour' (after two attempts on separate weeks, despite there being MANY empty lanes). Stratosphere, an indoor gaming center, offers a great experience for families, especially during the summer season. Our experience at Stratosphere in Eldersburg, Maryland, was enjoyable. The bowling, arcade, movie, etc. are all great! That gets 5 stars. The flatbread gets 1 star. That's a LOT of severely undercooked cheese there ?? Maybe cut the cheese in half and double the bake time. I hope the rest of their food is better.

What a fun place , with a good variety of activities for everyone. You can bowl, play arcade games, watch sports, have birthday parties or just hang out with some good drinks. If I could give this zero stars I would. We came to play at the arcade with our 2 year old and paid for the 30 minutes of arcade play. There is probably a total of 30 games available. Of those games, this card only allows you to play on the ?blue? machines. The blue machines are about half of this. We played one game and walked to find another where we noticed most of the machines out of order, when we found another ?blue? machine, we scanned and the game didn't allow us to play. Went for a family day out and the experience couldn't have been more horrible. Let's start with check in. Wanted to do axe throwing. Yes it's 15+ and I had two high schoolers with me but because they are under 16, they don't have ID and didn't have their school ids so they said no. We took our son here for his 9th birthday and had a blast! Tuesday is half off bowling, we got a lane right away, the food was great, their flat bread pizzas are delicious and our son said it was the best burger he had in a long time. The arcade is great too with lots to offer and they give you refillable cards for the kids to use. Ax throwing wasn't open, but overall I highly recommend!!

Took the kids to get out of the house. We all got the hour play cards and wasn't told that they only work on some machines which limited us to only about 5 games. Our kids were required to pay for a cracked ball that was not their fault. Management did not handle the situation appropriately. I would not recommend going to a place that places blame of damaged items on kids!

I called to check on prices of the trampolines and was spoken to very rudely and hung up on. In your photos it shows pictures of trampolines. He insisted there were none. I tried to let them know there was, so they could be removed and folks wouldn't ask if there were trampolines and he hung up on me. He also spoke over me the whole time. Very rude and disrespectful!

The food could definitely be better. Most of it tastes like it's was frozen and just thrown in the oven. Took forever for our food to come. The games could be better, kinda outdated. It could be a better experience if they upgraded the food and games

My kids have attended two birthday parties here and have really enjoyed it. It's very clean and pretty well maintained. The staff that is assigned to parties is very attentive. The wandering staff (or assigned to oversee areas) are pretty responsive. Definitely one of the better places in the jump party genre. Would certainly recommend.

Stratosphere Social is one of the coolest and most unique venues we've played. Plenty of fun activities for the entire family and prices were extremely reasonable. The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. We felt like kids again playing in the arcade and look forward to coming back for bowling and axe throwing!

In May of 2022 we rented out the "Backyard" Sports area on a weeknight. We brought 15 of our senior dancers from Karen Sachs Academy of Dance to celebrate dancing together for so many years. We love Stratosphere for everything. Trivia nights. Family bowling. Family gaming. School events. Birthday parties. Dinner and dessert. Whatever! The wait staff is always good. The food is way better than typical ?bar food,? and is clearly thought out well by a chef. There are always promotions or social events happening here, and there are semi-frequent staff-appreciation events where they close and focus on their team, which is nice to see, and well deserved. We will continue to routinely visit!

Trivia on Thursday nights is the best here. I just wish it was closer to where I live! Jorge was a great server. He was super attentive and friendly. 10/10 recommend!

From the moment we walked in the customer service was amazing!! I will give them that customer service is their strong suit. The food was nothing spectacular from what I could eat but not bad. When we arrived the lady at the front desk was nice with explaining and answering all the questions we had. That was the only time we had someone nice. The rest of the staff wasn't friendly or attentive at all. We didn't order food because the staff said the food was terrible there. The food is cheap easy reheat food. The food cost twice as much as expected and the portions are half of what you would expect. The servers were great. The atmosphere was loud but not crazy busy like Dave and Busters

The kids love this place! The best jump deal is on Friday and Saturday from 7-10 pm. It is a flat rate of $18 and it's glow in the dark with music.?? It also includes the Ninja warrior course and Dodge Ball!! My toddler and I have fun winning at the games while the older kids are jumping?? Gives a chance for Parents to chill too. My boyfriend took me on a date here for the first time yesterday and we had such a great time. Although it isn't super big there are a lot of activities to choose from. We did axe throwing and my boyfriend missed almost every one ??. We also did the Vr experience and it was so cool they had so many realist features, like the feeling of bugs crawling on you and the feeling of rain. + we bowled there was a 2hr wait but it was worth it. The concept is good, but management and customer service are sorely lacking and the food was nothing to write home about. We held a team building event in the backyard area. At the last minute (and only because I called to confirm we were good to go), I was told that my contact was leaving and she (POC2) would handle my event. This was said in a begrudging way and I did not get the same positive, happy to help vibe from her at all. I had chosen the burgers, dogs and sides for our lunch, and it was mediocre

Kind of like a fun house for adults, they focus on drinks and things limited to people at least 18+ or 21+. Not fun for kids or teens at all. (Boooo stinky not fun) Also their arcade sucks and they have a limited amount of games which do get very boring after an hour.

My family enjoyed ourselves but the food was mid at best. The environment was pretty cool. Some of the young people who work there were very professional, kind and helpful. Others were not. We will revisit to see if this was a one-time occurrence.

Wow! I just had a really bad time going to stratosphere social. We went for my son?s birthday and planned on bowling with just the 4 of us. We were put on a 45 minute wait, so we decided to play arcade games and eat at the bar. 45 minutes rolls past, and we start to notice that new walk-in customers are being served immediately and set up with their bowling alleys. My husband stands in line to comment on our observation. The person at the front desk says ?oh yea we sent you the text just now?. He cleans off

I was here as a vendor for an event. I love how they support organizations in the community. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. The buffalo chicken tots were A+. I am excited to come back to play games!

I cannot put to words how amazing the service was literally from the time I walked through the door. I had had a LONG and trying day, still pressed my way for a team building outing, and without knowing that I was running on fumes I was immediately greeted by Natalie who was so pleasant and welcoming that she felt like a walking hug. Here I was content with that, and then I Elizabeth just brought such a calming presence. Amaya was SO attentive and encouraging. Trust me, I hear what I'm saying, too, and can?

This place was hyped up in social media so we were interested in seeing what is was all about. I have an autistic adult daughter who loves bowling so on her birthday we decided to come here with family. We were 13 people, 3 kids, 2 teenagers and 8 adults. The website said the bowling lanes were in first come, first serve basis, which was understandable with only party packages having actual reservations. I came here for happy hour and games but was immediately turned down at the bar because mines was not horizontal. I wish I would?ve known this before driving 40 minutes. Also I looked up Maryland?s liquor license and it does not say I have to have a horizontal license.

My first time going and I went for my birthday (7/8). I had a amazing time and the young lady by the name of Lindsey was wonderful. She helped me and my friends get set up with axe throwing right before her shift was over. I thank her and her great team that was working that night! Best bowling alley I've ever been to! A waitress tends to your food and drink needs at the bowling lane, awesome. Rachel was super nice and very attentive. I might need to get out more, had no idea. There's more here than bowling, another visit is needed

The space was very nice. We had to wait for over an hour to get to the Ax Throwing,but once we got to throw it was extremely fun. We tried some nachos which where piled high with toppings but served cold??. The drinks were good and our service was good. We would go back

Went for the first time last week and we (two 35 year old adults and a 14 month old) loved it. The baby loved the lights and food options for kiddos and the adults LOVED the food as well. We had a blast at Stratosphere last week where we had a birthday party for our daughter and her friends! The place is so clean and food and drinks were delicious! Bowling lanes are blast. One disappointment was that there were several arcade games that were not working for service. JORGE was our host and was kind, super helpful, great with the kids, went the extra mile!

This place is fun for the whole family! We visited Stratosphere on a Friday night. We tried out a few drinks and appetizers during their Happy Hour which was great! We also had fun at the Axe Throwing games and Virtual Reality (7-D) game seats! The staff are very friendly and accommodating. We will definitely be back to check out the bowling and other games.

Very disappointed with my last visit. Drove 40 min to bring my family for dinner and bowling to celebrate my moms birthday. Food was ok but bowling experience was terrible. They put 7 people on one lane even though I asked for 2 lanes. Would only let me book one hr on the lane and said I could add time when that hr was up. When I tried to add another hr I was told they were on a wait and I could of did it at the beginning, which is what I tried to do and was denied. Couldn't even finish one game with so man

We recently had our 9 year old's birthday party here and it was a fantastic experience. Collin ran the nerf war part of the party and he was great - let the kids have fun and do their thing while also monitoring for safety. Virginia was the team member assigned to our party and she was also great - brought us our food and drink requests promptly, was continually checking in, handled our spills/messes with grace (a very necessary thing with a group of 9 year old boys). I had my birthday party here last night and let me just say it was absolutely perfect. Everyone agreed that they could not have had any more fun and they all loved it here!! This place is awesome! From the beginning to the the end of our visit we had the best customer service given by Elizabeth at the front counter. Her energy was right on point for this Playland. If you want something fun to do anytime and with anyone stop by and be sure to have Elizabeth as your tour guide. Good customer service is so hard to find. I will deffiently be back

We came and visited during the Tuesday bowling special. While the price was reasonable the wait staff leaves much to be desired. They completely ignored our group and served every other group around us. I'm not sure why we were ignored but we were.

I can not say enough about this place. I've had my son?s last four birthdays here. Lindsay, the event coordinator, was amazing!! She was completely accommodating to all of our needs. Our server Jordan, and our bartender Tracy were great! The owner even stopped by to make sure everything was going well. The service, food, and drinks were top notch. Most importantly, my son had the best birthday. So thankful for the incredible staff and all of their hard work.
