Best movie theater in the Hudson Valley! You won't find another theater experience like it. There's an awesome row of pinball machines (I love the Addams Family one that has Thing popping out) and a menu full of fun snacks and drinks with names and flavors to match the films. The seats are super comfy and the sound is perfected for each movie. I also love the little shelves by the seats, so there's room for both my concessions and purse! The owners are lovely and my partner and I always have a great time when we go. The arcade games are super fun, the drinks are strong, and the movies are awesome!!!! I highly recommend coming here. It's the best movie theater in the Hudson area. You don't want to miss out!

They put so much heart into this theater, it's really a special place. I've never had a favorite movie theater before now, I love it here!! I love that they always have special foods and drink options to match the movies they are showing. And, they often play throw back movies in addition to the new releases. A must see!!

Everything about this independent cinema is downright amazing. Seriously love that it exists in Hudson-Greenport! Tucked away jewel. Owners are fantastic as well.

The staff was very friendly! the food was fantastic! And the theatre is by far the cleanest and most updated theatre around. The seats are very comfortable and the arms of the seats fold up for couples to sit closer together. The prices are very reasonable and the sell alcohol for the movies! That mixed with a killer pinball arcade, what more could you ask for. Great place, will be visiting again very soon!

Such a WONDERDUL little theater in town! A hidden gem! I went to see the Bob Dylan movie (amazing and highly recommend) and afterwards played an awesome round of star wars themed pinball! I would go and just order food and play pinball all night if i could! The theater seats are super luxurious and comfortable and there is a little table in front of each row for snacks. Tickets are super reasonably priced and so is food. This is a small family run business, please support! They play new and old movies! Also

My boyfriend and I come here often. The special event screenings rock, the owners are great and it's nice to be around other film buffs. They have something for everyone! The area has needed a place like this for a long time <3

We held a PTO movie fundraiser at the theater and the owners were very accommodating. They were really easy to work with. They pay attention to all details and have a genuine love for all movies which is evident in the decor of the theater. The seats are extremely comfortable. They offer food, snacks and a full bar! 10/10 Can't wait to go back.

My wife and I went to see Heretic a few months ago. The owners couldn't have been nicer, the pinball machines were super fun, the drinks were delicious and the theater was awesome. I can't wait to be back in Hudson and check out another show.

Just found this place on a whim yesterday snd went to see Mufasa. It's great! I love the retro looks, it reminds me of the theaters I went to when I was younger. They have a good selection of food and drinks, and a bar too. The pinball games looked so fun! The theater itself was very clean. Big comfy seats and a shelf in front for food and drinks. They have a lot of fun events and indie movies-I'll definitely come back!

Just visited Story Screen in Hudson for the first time and loved it! Great atmosphere with vintage pinball machines and fun decorations. The owners are super friendly and we enjoyed the extensive selection of refreshments at reasonable prices. The seating in the theater was comfortable and there's even a place to set your food and drinks down. Sound and picture quality was great! This place is a gem. The theater is nice and the seats are comfy. The tickets and food are reasonably priced and the staff is incredibly nice. The arcade section has really cool pinball machines. The whole theater is also full of cool, retro posters and pictures. It has a great vibe. Support these guys, you'll have a good time and they deserve it too.

We loved this place and tried out both the arcade and cinema. The theater is by far the most comfortable in the area and if you're a movie buff the owners are incredibly knowledgeable about films & cinema. They have some amazing events scheduled too (i.e, pinball competitions, Oct. horror themes) definitely follow their calendar or pick up a hard copy in the theater. I do have an event suggestion, how about a behind the scenes tour around operating a movie theater? We would definitely attend.

This is the kind of cinema of been dreaming of having in Hudson for so long. The folks who run it legit LOVE movies and want the audience to have the best time. The drinks are amazing and wacky and fun! The popcorn is everything! Run and go see a flick and remember why you love the movies again. This place is vital!

Story Screen Cinema is nothing short of absolutely fantastic. Everything about the movie theater is exciting, fun, and welcoming. There's no shortage of glowing pinball games to choose from, and there's tons of food, snacks, and beverages to choose from (including beer, wine, and cocktails!). The staff also make the experience awesome. They make you feel welcomed and right at home. Anything you need they are there to help with. I can't wait to come back with my husband and see another movie!

It's nice to go to a theater owned by film buffs who select a great mix of old and new films to show and are ready to discuss the film after your viewing! Friendly staff, clean theaters, pinball machines, bar and dinner options make it a great option for everyone. Love that they show a classic John Waters promo as well as classic film trailers before the show.

What a amazing place! From the owners to the fun details. Alien Romulus was great, we will be back for sure! Cocktails, beers and Return pilsner(a local Brewery) were such a delight for our group. A must go for theater people

Great movie going experience! Crystal clear screen and loud sound that you don't find at other multiplexes. Plus a fantastic collection of (rare) pinball machines and some arcade cabinets along with food and drinks (lots of local beer). You can enjoy the games and food/drinks without even going to the movie! Plenty of fun movie decorations and preshows too.

Hands down best movie theater around. Extremely polite and accommodating staff. Amazing sound and viewing experience with comfortable seats unlike most theaters. Spacious and welcoming vibe. Cocktails and food are also an excellent bonus. Will come back as much as possible!

Great Spot! A nice line up of pinball machines. All in good shape. 4Qs/$1 per game. They have the 60th anniversary 007 James Bond machine. Not a ton of those around ?? Sounds like new ownership here. I got a fried chicken sando that I'd be happy to get at a proper sit down restaurant. The theatre is clean and well managed. Great job new owners! Best of luck!

The theaters are clean and comfy, the pinball selection is off the chain, the snack bar sells an ever-expanding menu of snacks curated by your teenage self and they have good beer on draft. This is the movie theater of your dreams.

OMG my first time there and I had a blast. Love how it's set up to where you have a table in front of you to put your food. To serve alcohol is a big plus. I will be going there more.

I took my grandson there and I was so surprised at how accommodating and friendly the owners were! The place was soooo clean and the food is excellent! Next time, we play the pin ball machines!!!!
