Fun times playing bingo with friends. Great service and good food. The grilled chicken sandwich with fries was as expected and priced competitively. The holiday spirits were an unexpected treat.
Fun place. My son loved the bowling and the arcade. The only thing that's not exactly clear is the hours of operation. There website says it opens at 9am on Sunday. Google says noon. But when we arrived on a Sunday it opened at 10am. My advice for anyone planning on going to split rocks is call ahead and get an updated hours of operation. I understand it may varie depending on staffing.
Split Rock is a gem! The staff here are incredibly kind and attentive?they made sure our group had everything we needed and checked in regularly with genuine smiles. The atmosphere is fun, clean, and family-friendly. A special shoutout to the owner, who goes above and beyond to make sure everyone feels welcome and taken care of. You can really tell they put their heart into the place. We'll definitely be back!
Aiden Marsh was so helpful and helped fix the game my daughter was enjoying playing when it popped up with an error! He was so nice and got her back to playing in no time! He really was a great kid and super friendly and nice! It was nice to see since usually there employees avoid you!
Mellissa is the best Waitress. She made sure all of our drinks were filled. Super funny. I was having a very hard day and she turned it around. The food was good too. We played the axe throwing after per her recommendations and we loved it. Coming back in for sure.. Thanks for making my day Amazing!!
Great atmosphere and kids loved it, but I got the Diablo burger and have been over the toilet since about 1 am last night. Definitely food poisoning, I didn't eat anything else after the burger so that has to be the culprit. Definitely won't be going there again. ??
HUGE INCONVENIENCE!!!! They need to update their hours. Their website says they open at 10am on Sundays It is 10:24AM and I am sitting outside the building with an ornery child. Along with 3 other cars. I promised her we would go bowling, so I guess we will just sit here until they open. (Hopefully that is 11AM)
Bowling was fun, and they played good music and it wasn't too loud. The food was good. Service was good. Kinda pricey, 2 lanes for 6 bowlers with shoe rental cost $149 for 1.5 hours. Would go back again! Zach was awesome!
Only one server for a bunch of lanes, had to ask for water several times and then had to ask the guys at the front desk. Need hire more servers. You should be able to purchase how many times you wanna bowl not how long cause then it stops in the middle of a game.
Wouldn't even give it a Star. Bowling wise. You pay for 1 1/2 hr of bowling, if your not done bowling in that time..they shut your lane down. Pay more to continue.. they say..keep adding $$. Joke.. ooh if your lane has problems like no ball return, or missing pins, go to front desk, we'll that adds to your minutes.. .for 3 minutes of fixing it ..very disappointed, specially for a family oriented place... I'll go to JJs in North Branch, no time limit, least I can sit have a beer with friends, chat, with
We celebrated our son's 16th birthday here, and had a blast. It was a bit confusing to pay for each game in advance, but it worked and was affordable. It's a fun, laid-back bowling alley, but a bit outdated. The shoes were a bit curved at the toes like Ronald McDonald, and the automated score monitors weren't very sharp and could use an update; however, the staff was very friendly. There were only two servers and the lanes were nearly full so service was slow, but it was the second best burger I've ever had
This place is a total rip off. 58 bucks for 2 adults and 1 kid to bowl for 1 hour. If you can't finish your game youhave to pay extra. The only thing good thing about this place is the pizza. They are lucky for me to even say that
A great place for family gatherings. The rib dinner is delicious. Wonder Mother's Day. You can watch the family play.
Got a bowling lane for 10 kids and table full of 10 adults around 12:30PM and waited 45 minutes for a waitress to even come by to see us. We talked to multiple bowling staff asking for a server to come and we were told they would let someone know. We ended up leaving for how poor the service was.
We brought our three children here during spring break to play in the arcade and have a rare meal out. When we arrived an hour after they opened, we were unsure where exactly to go and were ignored by the bartender as we passed, and two employees in the bowling area sitting by the lanes...we were the only ones there. We milled around for at least 15 minutes before a guy asked if we'd like the arcade area turned on. After we figured out how to load the point cards and dished them out to the kids, they were o
I am here right now and this place has terrible service in the restaurant area. We sat down in a nearly empty restaurant and waited... and waited for 10 minutes even to be acknowledged and only because I had to approach a waitress and ask for service. It seemed like the waitresses were purposely ignoring us so maybe the other would have to actually take a table. I would comment on the food quality but we STILL havent gotten our food! Bad service. Waitresses with crappy attitudes. Don't waste your time here
Just bowled here again at Split Rocks Bowling center in Wyoming, MN. Bowling was great and clean, food and service also really good, always has been, come and enjoy a nice time here!
Just changed my review. 1st time here and it was a huge fail. This time was for my sons birthday and the Bartender/ server was awsome. He made things extremely pleasant and upbeat for a young to have a great night. Food was great also.
We decided to do a last minute birthday party for one of our children staff was super friendly and extremely helpful did 60 Minutes of bowling for around $40 it was great for pricing ordered food while we were there food came in a reasonable amount of time good proportions and children loved it, they also love the arcade which was great the kids had so much fun ??thank you ??split rocks
Bowling is fun, but it got expensive, and my first pair of shoes were pretty beat up inside. The food here wasn't good. Burger was bland, thin, and over cooked (chewy) on a big stale bun. 1 tomatoe slice is $.75, same for one leaf of lettuce. BLT and big pretzel appeared to be better choices. Server was forgetful but friendly and accommodating. Arcade entertained the kids for a price while we waited for an open lane. It was $250 for 3 people for under 3 hours. No alcohol in that price.
I appreciate the cleanliness of this bowling alley and the service from the employees. For lunch, I had the chef's salad and it was a big portion for a big guy. I also enjoyed the Ruben soup ??! All in all, my experience was great and fun.
Took my girls bowling for the first time here! What a great experience! They had fun, we had fun, it was great!
Nephews Birthday party was fun for the kids. Pizza was not bad, video game area is grunge and prizes consist of tootsie rolls and rubber balls. Pretty lame this place may need a management overhaul.
It was an awesome experience for me and my family!! First time going bowling, staff were nice, the place was good for small kids which is always a plus!! They also have a place to eat right after your play, We were lucky to play bingo and our kiddos did some karaoke to end the night. We are looking forward to coming again!! ??
Took the kids tonight for dinner and hit the arcade. Our server in the restaurant was amazing, he was fast, he checked in on us multiple times, and he was great with both kids. We had a blast in the arcade, and even though the place was absolutely packed- the staff who helped us in the arcade was so patient and went above and beyond to help the kids. And our food was delicious!!
Great place to bowl. Definitely would go here again!
They have approximately thirty different games in the arcade. there were nine card readers that would not work. I was happy that it wasn't that busy, we would have been fighting over games available to play. It is a fun place in and a fun atmosphere. I was just really disappointed in the amount of out of order signs I ran into.
Great staff but drinks are way overpriced.
Great place for friends n family to get together. They have volley ball, bowling, arcade, laser tag,...and they are honest and really there for you to have a great time and not just trying to make an extra buck.
Angel is an excellent server! All the employees are do friendly here and it's a great place to have a bowling and GameDay party! They even have game and prize tickets for the kids! The food is excellent!
My family had a fantastic time bowling here and playing in the arcade. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the facility was clean and large, and it was overall a great time. We will definitely return!
First time guest and had a great experience. Great server...Angel C. Definitely a place I will visit again when in town. Cowboy Burger will definitely be a repeat.
I ordered the breakfast burger and a tap Coors light. The burger was good, nothing to write home about. The fries were hot and fresh. The beer was crisp, however the cup had a very musty old dirty beer smell to it. It was hard to get past.
Fun place to spend time with family! We've had several birthday parties here as well. Staff has gone downhill - not as friendly as they use to be. This place needs a lesson from Kwik Trip, lol.
Our waiter, Nick, made our visit wonderful. We stopped for breakfast and were so pleasantly surprised by how well everything was cooked. Their bloody Mary drinks are perfectly spicy too! We will be back!
Place was amazing. Staff was super nice. Came here with work.
Actually, I had a decent time bowling. Seems like it has gotten better compared to the last few years. Wasn't expensive bowling. But the arcade still wasn't great, to be honest. It's not worth spending any money on arcade it is crappy, half the machines do not work, and the prizes are terrible for spending so much money. But overall had fun with the family.
Had a lot of fun doing the axe throwing, definitely will back again.
I took my 7 yr old cousin bowling and to the arcade and we had a blast! The bowling lane automatically put bumpers up when it was his turn and bumpers went back down when it was my turn which was super cool. Staff was friendly and helpful. Will definitely go back in the future!
I used to visit regularly when it was Stars and Strikes. For a bar and entertainment scene it was a great place and I'm sure still is. It had been several years since I'd last been to the establishment and met out of state friends for dinner. I thought my burger was pretty good. My guests were less than thrilled with their orders. The potato fries ordered were burnt and salted to the point of not edible. Was trying to have a nice dine in experience, and then bingo started in the restaurant seating area.
Bowling was great! Food was good. Arcade games need some tender love and care-half of the arcade games are down which is what my 7 year old son mostly wants to do when we are there.
I was there to meet with family and play bingo. Bingo took a really long time because of a computer issue but that gave us time to talk. We also needed to get some food. I had the Cuban sandwich, I really liked it. Everyone else liked the food as well. I would recommend this place to those who don't have young kids because we were in the bar area.
Bowling and haven't gotten a server for 2 whole rounds. How's one suppose to drink and bowl
So much fun playing bowling and also an excellent selection of arcade games are available. Looking forward to coming back for laser tag! P.S. Try the waffle fries!
Stay far away!!! First problem was that our waitress was very rude. I guess I can't blame her since she was the only one working. The menu clearly states that the walleye comes with mashed potatoes and it comes out with rice and the waitress proceeded to argue about it when it says mashed potatoes on the menu. Nobody ate their food it was so bad. Everything was cold. Not to mention that half the food came out and the other half came out 20 minutes later. It took us about two hours from the time we got there
Ordered the prime rib sandwich. Not the greatest. More like sliced pot roast. And super dry. Subpar food. Great service. No pic I took it to go.
We like the bar side. Not too loud. The food's good. Beer selection is adequate. Generally we find the staff to be friendly. However, I don't know if we tend to come in at a shift change or what, but too often we feel ignored when we first come in. The staff should figure out how to best serve customers during those transitions.
Really nice place for family night outs. Kids loved the food here. Next time I'll take pictures of the food before it's all done.
My dad took me and my sister to Splitrocks, bowling was very fun but the staff was nothing short but confusing. The real problem was with the arcade, after bowling, I had a lot of problems with the card. Could?ve been that I wasn't doing it right but I wasted 3 dollars trying to get the card to work. I would go back but maybe not the arcade!
This place has really gone down the tank. I cannot believe how poor everything about their business has become. It took a long time to get drinks at a relatively empty bar. The bowling is EXPENSIVE compared to everywhere else, and the lanes aren't great (had to hit the reset button a handful of times as well as manually enter and reset pins). The food was mediocre at best. The pool table has 8 balls of the 15. No cue ball. None of the sticks have tips. I asked the bowling counter staff for pool balls and he
I've tried really hard to like this place and have given Splitrocks so many chances....only to be let down almost every time. We moved to the area about a year and half ago and this the only place nearby that has bowling. I've gone probably a dozen times in the past 18 months. It doesn't matter what time of the day I go, what day of the week I go on, how big or small my group is, it's always the same old sad story. The service is typically abysmal. Suuuuper slow and I swear the service staff do what they ca
Have been here many times, always try to give them the benefit of the doubt just to be let down time and time again. Service is always, bad. Was there today and after 20 minutes bowling I went and asked for service, took another 20 mins before someone actually came over and by that time we were ready to leave. Bowling is expensive. The same arcade games are always out of service with new ones out of service every visit. Food is always cold when it comes out. Servers are always crabby. BINGO is good tho, jus
We went here for my husband's twin birthday and it was pretty fun!!!
Drinks are weak, took about an hour for a single pizza and service was slow. Place was not busy, I think they were understaffed or just bad at all of it. We wont be back for awhile.
They recently changed pricing to the extreme. You can no longer pay by the bowler. you have to pay by the hour which is $40 and shoes are an additional $3.75 per bowler! ($60) We let 4 of our 6 kids bowl (two were busy) and they finished one and a half games with no food or interruptions so it basically cost $7.5 a game! That's ridiculous. They told us not to order food right away because they would get distracted and eat up the bowling time? We were starving but they started the timer as soon as they assig
Great atmosphere, customer service was very solid as well. Had one of the best pizzas I'd ever had there, the buffalo chicken with blue cheese dipping sauce spread over it. They had twilight bowling on a Saturday afternoon and my 6 and 8 year old boys just loved it. Plus they have one of the best bowling ally arcades in the cities.
We go bowling here alot, as it's the closest bowling to us. We always order food and drinks while we bowl. Never had any complaints. Food is great. Prices are about average. Id recommend checking it out if you are looking to go bowling.
We had the best time at Split Rocks last night. Bowled, drank, ate and played in the arcade. My daughter was saving up points for this toy in the arcade and was finally able to get it last night. And then? She lost it. When we went back to see if it was still at our lane, we didn't find it.. the manager gave my kiddo a new one! We were honestly so thankful! So thank you for a great evening!! I really love this place!
Took 30 minutes for food. food was a good solid 1.5 the drive was -0.5 + 1.5 for fun +0.5=3.0 Good job
Decent experience. We were the only asian people there and didnt help that it took a while to get served so we had to move to the bar which was super busy and was checked on here and there. The food was good though just wished other workers would have helped our server.
Kindness is felt, celebration of a birthday, post birthday party bowling and game playing abounded..best pizza ever! Super busy, due to 2 different benefits being held, besides the innumerable amounts of ppl still walking in throughout the time I was there..I had to fetch my drinks the whole time, not a problem.. If you have a shred of decency and understanding about the business, industry, and the workings within, YOU DON'T MAKE A STINK ABOUT fetching a few drinks ONE TIME out of many visits. Anyone who d
Only thing I have as a con is the location. Other than the sign the building itself is way off the main road, not visible otherwise. Bar area is huge, plenty of tables and spaces to sit. Ally is open enough but with places to sit. Chairs on the lane are functional but not super comfy to sit in for hours. But if you're bowling you won't sit long anyway. There are tables and chairs overlooking the lanes for extra people. Did not wander into the arcade but looks decent. Food we got, burger and chicken tender
Current here, 2/27 3:30 PM. The bowling alley is clean, and the staff is running it is friendly and welcoming. However, the restaurant ruins it all. We sat for 15 min after entering and asking the waitress if it was seat yourself. After never being address, we went to the bar to order dinner and our drinks. It is clear, if you are not a "regular" do not expect good if any servce service. The staff is way more focused and catching up from regular patrons on what has been going on around town than then servin
Staff was very welcoming and nice. The arcade games ?Pins? are a lot per game so you spend more but worth it. Kids had a blast
Food was good. Friendly, attentive and courteous service. Lanes were well taken care of and staff friendly. Note my review is based upon an early off-peak time. Have not been here during a busy period.
Really disappointed, did purse bingo and they just kept letting people in even though they know that decision had to go over maximum capacity in that room. Why not cut it off so people can actually enjoy it instead of being packed in like sardines. A joke! The food was awful and bland. I get they are busy but don't provide food then. No wait staff, just a chaotic mess! Will not put myself through that again.
A birthday party for a 6 year old. Everybody had fun.
The only reason I am giving them a 2 is because there were two worker that were super friendly and helpful. The manger is a super disrespect man and he should not be working there. We order a pizza and it was still doughy in the middle and the waitress did not even offer to take any money off. We left a whole 16 inch un eaten pizza at our table.
Been here a few times. The last time was Friday February 3rd. We took are youngest daughter to the arcade as a surprise for an early birthday as me and her dad both worked on her actual birthday. We spent almost $400 as we have 4 kids. We were having a blast aside from the people that wreaked of weed. Their dad happened to hear something over the loud speaker about a blue Chevy truck. He barely heard it as none of the music shut off during the announcement. It matched our truck so he went to check on it onl
The bowling alley is well kept and the guy running the counter was very friendly. We ordered pizza and a pitcher of soda. The waitress was fast and friendly the first time. When we ordered the second time the service was okay but not great. Overall it was 4 stars for me.
Went this past Saturday for lunch then bowling. Arrived at 1, waitress finally approached us at 1:20.. didn't get food until 2:45. 4 adults and two kids, we ordered nothing hard or complicated- soup/ salad, quesadilla, mini corn dogs, boneless wings... asked waitress to cancel order then all of a sudden food came out, fries were cold and soggy. Chicken was barely warm, quesadilla was cold everything was obviously sitting and just not served. It was busy, but not two hour wait busy. Perhaps we could have bee
They have a waitress here that is ruining theyre business. She has black spiked hair and wears a mask. She is by far the rudest piece of work to ever serve food. Management needs to make a change. This is a small town bowling ally and all the locals are sick to death of this womans attitude. Legendary bad service when trying to eat in the restaurant.
Decent sized bar area. It's definitely got room for large groups. The bowling alley is pretty standard. We didn't have to wait or anything. About 15 or so taps for beer and a bunch more in bottles. I didn't try food so I can't speak to that.
If it were possible to give negative stars I would. First the waitress was terrible, an rude. We eventually had to go get our own drinks. Then we ordered food which was a mistake. We had 2 kids with us. 12 an 13. Well apparently they don't have milkshakes there which I found weird for it being a place for kids to play. Waitress looked at me like I was crazy an said "we don't do them here". Then walked away. Very rude. Anyways. Food comes out about 45 mins later. We ordered a BLT And a club sandwich and chee
My favorite watering hole and decent grub. Shelly is an amazing bartender. (The main reason why I frequent there) Bathrooms are nice and pretty clean. The bowling alley area is pretty family friendly as well as the bar area. Friendly clean atmosphere to hang out at.
Had a great time here for our all night party after graduation! Really nice place! Arcade was fun as was the bowling, not to mention all the random things they had to do there as well, would definitely recommend going out to their patio area, its really nice back there when they get the fires going!
Need to work on guest service. Wouldn't hurt to put waitstaff on in the bar. Bartender cannot handle any extra tables. There was only one other table in the bar. Took far to long to order and then over a half hour to get our food. Our food came out cold!! Had to ask to have my burger and fries heated up in the microwave. The place has so much potential if they had good service
Nice place! Food and service was great! Pizza was yummy , we got the supreme and a cheese bread. Plus they had cheese curds and waffle fries ,etc. set out for the party. We were there for our friends 50th Birthday party and there was alot for the kids to do. It was nice and clean and if we lived closer we would come more often! We are an hour away!! Thanks.
This place is great for birthday parties for the kids! Our group had so much fun bowling and playing the arcade games! Our waitresses were very attentive and friendly. The staff overall was helpful and wonderful!
I really wish I could give this place a better rating. Bowling was fun, nice facility, however, the service was pretty awful. We got there Saturday night (5/18/19) and got a lane right away. We ordered food right away and beer. We didn't get out food until our game was done.... we also got the wrong pitcher of beer (may I add that it was 4 times as much as the beer we ordered.) We ended up paying for the pitcher and food, waitress no where in sight so we had to track someone down. I'd give the place anothe
Clean, friendly service. Great place to bring family for an evening. They have bowling, full menu, drinks, arcade.
Ended up having to fight with the manager to get an automatic tip taken off the bill because our service was terrible. We came for a birthday party and were reminded 3 times by the waitress that she wanted to go home implying we should be quick- the first time before we even started bowling. Our table was not ready when we got there at our reserved time. The manager said "maybe she had a bad day" and "I'm upset that I have to deal with this" when we simply asked to have the automatic gratuity taken off. Ter
Good. Lol. Huge bar. Hours vary. Usually a drink and lunch/dinner special. And very friendly people. Staff and patrons, including myself. Longer hours as the summer approaches. Leagus for people to join are open pretty regularly. We like it. ??
I liked nothing about my experiences here! I always try to give places multiple chances but this place is HORRIBLE every time! The service sucks, the waitresses/bartenders don't know their beers (3 of the 5 times we have come here, he gets the wrong beer from what he ordered), we literally see the waitress go to every table but ours multiple times. There was paper, a nice size chunk, in my water! And seriously they ONLY have 1 dessert. The restaurant was packed and only 2 waitresses? Wow...we won't be back.
Service was absolutely horrible. Drinks and food took forever to come out. Waitress did not check on the table hardly at all the whole. Keep in mind we had ten people. The food came out over cooked. After getting paged for our lanes because there was a 45 minute wait, it took us 20 minutes to get our bill. Then we were told we could only play one game because they needed to lanes for other bowlers. Horrible service and experience. Used to love this place where. It was stars and strikes. Will not be coming b
Great Food, w/ Nice Chill Dining/Bar type feel. Great variety of music playing. The employees that I came in contact with were exceptional! Checked in on us frequently for refills and what not. Also bowling alley and pool table on the other side! I'll be back. #Legit
Split rocks got under new management a could years ago and had a decrease in quality. But I have gone there a few times in past couple months and I am impressed. Great happy hour deals half price apps. Bowling lanes are modern and always clean.
The prices for bowling are high on the weekends, but if you go during the week days before 5 pm it's $3.99 per game. On Wednesday before 5 pm it's $3.00 per game. If you are a senior you also get a discount. The food is spendy but good portions. The staff are all very friendly.
It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.
Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.
Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.
Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.
Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.
Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.
Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.
No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
Arcade prize games are a thrilling highlight in 2025! Claw machines, skee-ball, and ticket-redemption games like basketball offer a rush of skill and chance, with rewards like plushies, toys, or electronics up for grabs. Modern machines feature vibrant lights, digital scoreboards, and responsive controls, amplifying the fun. The lively arcade atmosphere, with cheering crowds and buzzing energy, makes every win feel epic.
