The kids loved it here, so much to do and it wasn't super busy during the week. Jared, our lifeguard on duty did a great job monitoring the pool area. We will definitely come back !
While I didn't stay at the hotel, I did go to the water park on day passes. I got there right after opening and there was not a single other person that was there, and that is the only thing that made going there worth it. For the first 2 hours of the park being open the water was shut off on the main attraction, and all slides were closed off. The main attraction should have been only off for 30 min like I was told but instead was until I went to climb on it the person at the desk was like it's ready to be
Last week's visit to Splash Universe was great! The kids (3, 13, 13 yrs), enjoyed it. The two-night stay was fun filled with Splash area attractions and good snacks close by. Kids enjoyed the Arcade as well, and adults occasionally escaped to enjoy the adult lounge. Staff was extremely welcoming and hats off to Manager Jared. Can't wait to go back!
Jared was the pool manager on duty today, he was very helpful, gave us helpful hints, supervised all areas that he could. He worked his butt off to make sure everything was up to par for kids and parents even going to extra mile to bring me water.
We had an awesome time at Splash Universe! The waterpark was super fun, with great slides, a lazy river, and a perfect splash area for kids. Everything was really clean, and the staff was friendly. The hotel was just as nice?the rooms were clean, comfortable, and a great place to relax after a day at the waterpark. Overall, it was a great trip, and we'll definitely be back!
Took my girls to splash universe and we had a ball. There was only 1 lifeguard on duty and he was amazing. Attentive & very polite. Thank you Jared! We will be back.
This is a very fun family-friendly resort! It doesn't matter whether you come here for a day or a couple of nights, you and your family will definitely have a lot of fun! There is an indoor waterpark, waterslides, pools (including one at the hotel connected to it), an arcade, party rooms, a restaurant, and a buffet for breakfast. There are a variety of mascots throughout that do fun activities with the children such as Storytime, which makes the resort more aimed at kids. You won't regret going here for a f
The rooms are dated, but functional and worked for our needs. We got 6 Waterpark bracelets with our stay for the whole weekend, under $600! ?? The Waterpark has a snack shack, not much to rave about. There is a little arcade on site. Hotel also has a separate pool. Front desk staff was very pleasant. Waterpark staff were not! There was a claw game that was not working properly and I said something and got ignored.
So getting into our room was a little rough. Front desk was over loaded with people trying to check in and rooms were still not clean and ready by after check in time. So that was a little frustrating. I was under the impression the bar and grill would be open and it was not. The snack shack was briefly open. HOWEVER. The water park was fabulous, clean, kid friendly (mine are 9 and 7). Two big slides and a kid section. The life lifeguards were nice and highly attentive. When we finally did get into our room
Makes you wonder how they maintain the water when the kitchen/cafe area, bathrooms, and changing areas are nasty. My child wouldn't use the bathroom because of how dirty it was and when I needed to use it, no toilet paper could be found on the rolls. They were however, sitting on top of the holders and mostly on the floor. Has the health department even seen their kitchen area? With just a little bit of care, you could have a wonderful little local getaway for families. But. When I see the owner:manager mo
Not worth the price.... went there years ago and loved it and today's visit was far from that. Front desk was rude and very short with us, like we where bothering them. Waterpark just looked dirty, dirty towels overflowing from the bin, bathroom were absolutely disgusting ??. This place was an absolute go to years ago not anymore. Will not recommend this place to anyone ever. Save your money and go somewhere else.
Brought my family here for a night and made reservations on line for Wednesday. 1st problem?. The water park isn't open on Wednesday. Then we were switched to Thursday. I was told the water park was open from 1pm to 9pm on Thursday with check in at 3 pm and on Friday the park was open from 9am until 1 pm, checkout at 11. This seemed like an ok deal for the price I was quoted. I call a day ahead of time just to make sure everything was all set and a woman receptionist who was cold, curt, and rude said that w
Checked in shortly after check in time. Check in process was smooth. Arrived at our room and it smelled horrible. Went to the front desk to see if we could get a different room and was told they were fully booked. Was handed a bottle of Febreeze and was sent on my way. My husband was not happy. He went to the front desk and spoke to someone different, asked for a different room and was given a different room no problem. The hotel was not fully booked. Maybe 25 cars in the parking lot, so that was a lie. Ho
Very nice hotel. Location is very convenient, restaurants and cafes are nearby. Staff is super nice, rooms are clean and full of amenities. We didn't get to use the water park due to our work schedule Housekeeping takes care of daily.
3/8/25 They definitely need to upgrade and clean their rooms. I checked into a room with my kids to find a nasty sink with black dirt fill to the top in it and when I told the guy at the front desk. He told me they only had bunker suite available which is $445 a night. Lucky for me that's what I already had paid for. SMH? If I didn't have paid they was going charge me more money.. Even though they check me in a nasty room?.I will never come back here again. Customer service 0, cleanliness 0..it's not worth
I stayed in the Cabela suite and for being the most expensive room there the couch was not very comfortable to sit on and the bed was just ok for me but my wife didn't like the bed at all. The jacuzzi was very small for the area of the room that it was in there was about 2 feet of tile all the way around it like it was replaced with a smaller tub the 2 of us barely fit side by side. The indoor water park is the best thing about this place and is the only reason I'd return. $450 for the night and the water p
filthy rooms, had to switch rooms new room was way cleaner but toilet wouldn't flush. My cousin had to use the restroom and my aunt took her to the restrooms. My aunt would NOT take her back in there. it was so nasty. Expired drinks and food in vending machines arcade broken, handing out free food but can't fix nothing. Weird people staring at 5 year olds. Drunk people. We left at 930 at night and my aunt was in the car waiting for us and told us there were people LURKING around the parking lot. In the pool
Horrible tried to get a cart to bring up my luggage none in lobble no one could help me asked for a manager I explained I just had back surgery and had to have one he proceeded to tell me very rudely if I wanted to stand in the lobby and wait for one I was more than welcome seeing there were only 4 for the whole hotel . It was already 2 o'clock and I know the splash park closed at6 which I thought was early being memorial Day weekend so I proceeded to carry my own luggage to the room at my own risk . Now in
Really liked relaxed friendly environment with kids and adult activities. Stayed over an additional night. LOVED chilling by kids splash area next to the Snack Shack. Tasty, hot snacks, timely served by the friendliest staff. SHOUT npl 0OUT TO Mr Jimmy! "I'll be back."
Absolutely repulsive place. Lifeguards admitted to not being certified. Lifeguard sliding down tube slide and playing with friends instead of guarding. They closed the store and pool early then all went upstairs to drink together. Rooms are filthy. It's not good. Don't even waste your time.
We visited Splash Universe during the end of spring break 2025. The hotel room was nice and clean. The waterpark was small compared to other waterparks in the area, but nice for younger children. You can stand in one spot and see the entire park which is great for keeping kids within eyesight. The check-in process there is not great. Check-in was supposed to be at 3, however we could not get into our room until almost 5:00pm. The line was almost out the door. I believe the reason for this is because 1) th
My fiance and I had THE EXTREME DISPLEASURE of taking our 3 youngest children to Splash Universe the end of spring break. Where Do I Begin!! First we THOUGHT we got a groupon deal but once we arrived at the hotel we were told it doesn't include the water park passes, it only included access to the free pool located in ONE of the hotels. PLEASE see attached photo of grouon description!! We wanted to dispute the groupon but no one was there and we were given no information other than see the manager tomorrow.
The water park itself is great. The kids loved every second and threw fits when it was time to go eat or go back to the room. They wanted more. The lifeguard staff was friendly and not hard-nosed enforcers. They let the kids jump into the water, no diving or cannon balls. The issues we noticed were that the trash cans were overflowing, the bathrooms were not being checked and cleaned, and the room cleaners weren't or not properly trained. It has the potential to be a great gem and affordable water park, bu
For $400 per night in the only Jacuzzi suite on the property, get a new mattress and couch. Woke up with so much back pain from that bed, it literally took my breath away. Oh and you can't have parties in that room either. Even though it was just my husband and I wanting to get away from home for a night, we had two different employees be sure to go out of their way to tell us this even before checking in. We only used 2 of our 4 allowed water park passes and they wouldn't allow us to exchange those 2 unuse
Hotel is a bit outdated, and the rooms weren't the cleanest. Multiple things including the elevator to the 2nd floor were out of order. However Splash universe was great for a 7 & 3 year old, even if the water in the play tower was frigid, the rest was nice and warm. The place was exceptionally clean except the restrooms which had a sewage smell. We had either two or three lifeguards while we were there with one watching the entire area and one folding towels at any given time. So make sure to keep an eye
Stayed at Splash Universe in Dundee. Was the best experience I had at Hotal/ Resort I in a long time. Super Friendly Staff, Life Guards are Very good at What they Do. Restaurant Cooks are amazing and amazing food. Shack Shake aswell . Bar tender knows what shes doing Rooms are a little outdated but super clean. ?? I would highly recommend this place to everyone That I know. Too bad the village of Dundee doesn't have many things to do besides Cabelas.
Waterpark was nice and clean most of the water is heated which was a plus snack shank wasn't open would have loved to buy some drinks but overall it's a nice place to take the kids to they enjoyed it
Pros- Granddaughter and I had a day pass for the waterpark. We had a great time for a reasonable price. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The water in the pool areas were comfy warm which made it enjoyable. Cons- We were the first ones there and found the restrooms in the waterpark needed attention. Water in the play area with orange slide, large bucket area was ICE COLD and NO ONE used it in the 3 hours we stayed.
Did a day pass for the water park on a Saturday. I was extremely underwhelmed with what was available for $60. We were terrified to use the restrooms due to the fecal matter all over one of the stalls and the lack of toilet paper in the others. Terrified to eat anything due to unsanitary conditions at the cafe. This place needs a serious deep clean and sanitation. Our local Recreation Center has a cleaner facility with more to do for a fraction of the price.
Last weekend, I took my two boys, my cousin, and her son to Splash Universe Dundee . We had booked a Family Fun Suite for spring break but had to postpone due to illness. When I called to reschedule, the woman I spoke with said everything would stay the same?same room, same rate. However, when we got there, the price had mysteriously jumped $150. I was too tired to argue, so I let it go, just wanting to get the kids settled and into the water. Once in the room, we noticed a few things: The bunk bed raili
We spent my sons 4th birthday here, and I can't recommend Splash Universe enough. Joseph the manage was more than accommodating and went above and beyond for myself, my family, and our entire party. The other staff members were extremely helpful and friendly. The establishment itself was clean, and very kid friendly. If you're looking for a good deal, you will definitely get your moneys worth here! 10/10 recommend them over Kalahari and Great Wolf Lodge.
We took our kids here on a Thursday (waterpark only). The staff was friendly although limited. There was only one employee covering the entire swim area. Lots of kids breaking the rules, turned the hot tub into a play area, it's supposed to be for 18 and older. Locker rooms were gross, both men and women?s. There was not enough tubes for half the people there and most of the kids would not allow others to take turns. The lockers are quite tricky to figure out. There was no food to be purchased on the premi
not sure if i would come back. we came for my daughter's 3rd birthday and it was such a stressful start. to not leave such a lengthy review i will just summarize by saying that the hotel is not organized whatsoever and there is too much miscommunication as well as prices being arbitrarily given out... when i got the key for our room, the room was not even touched at all as far as being cleaned from the previous guest. by the end of the stay it definitely all worked out but it was not a smooth process at all
Place is literally falling apart. Most things including vending machines, ice machines, games in the game room, elevators, and exterior doors are hit or miss whether they work or not. Visited the "snack bar" and there was a half-fridge full of beer, pee-warm tap water and nothing else available. I saw two half-pizzas in an unpowered warmer that looked like they'd been there for a week already. There is no other food outside of vending machine candy unless you leave the premises. Half the weekend thing
Joseph at the front desk was extremely helpful for us this past weekend. We came with the expectation that we would be staying the night, but our children had a different agenda and next thing we know it's 12:30am and we weren't getting any sleep. We live pretty local so it was only a 30 minute drive for us to go home which was really our only option at this point. Joseph made sure to take care of us as we checked out and I'm very grateful for his compassion and care when it comes to the guests here. His ca
Staff was great.. condition of hotel and rooms are poor. Our room was very dirty, stains all over the beds. Inch thick dust all over everything and a stitch that I could do without. Vending machines don't work.
This is a great place to take your younger water-goers. The water park here is obviously the main feature. It's nothing too extreme, so little ones won't get over their heads. We took our 4 and 6 year olds here and they had the time of their lives. The lifeguard staff here are pretty chill and keep things moving around the park. Perhaps the most "extreme" feature is the two big slides that go down a couple of stories. There's also a lazy river and a playground. The rooms are good. Decor is great and we fo
This waterpark is just OK. It's a bit outdated and rooms smell. The waterpark is more for small children, with the exception of the lazy river, which is significantly overpowered and dangerous for any children. The floors are also very slick and I saw multiple children falling and becoming injured. Not likely to visit again.
I wish I could leave 0 stars. Disgusting feels like an understatement. The locker room has urine covering the entire floor coming up from the drain in the floor. It smelled so bad of urine I could hardly breathe. You can smell the urine from the lazy river. My husband said the men?s was the same way. We tried to find another bathroom to use in the hotel and they are all disgusting. Feces on the floor, toilet paper, trash etc, trashes are over flowing, floors and carpets look like they haven't been swept in
I spent my Saturday afternoon here on February 22nd for the first time, and I was genuinely impressed! The day pass for the water park was only $50, making it an affordable and amazing experience. The improvements they've made are fantastic; from the slides and lazy river to the cabanas, caf?, and play structure. The dumping bucket was definitely the best part! The only small complaints I have are that the flooring could use an update since it can be slippery at times (though not often), and the locker roo
We booked a one night stay for $320 for this place that doesn't serve breakfast, most of vending and arcade is broke down, water at the park was freezing cold other than the lazy river and VERY small toddler area. The toddler area was one slide which was occupied a lot because they allow 12+ to use the area. The rooms haven't been updated since the 90s, as shower and room looked awful including horribly stiff beds!
Waterpark was great! The kids enjoyed their time. The water was freezing other than the lazy river and the tiny kid area so it was hard to enjoy all the slides. The arcade wasn't terrible but they did have some broken and empty machines. The hotel room sucked. Our toilet didn't flush so we had to constantly run to the hallway bathrooms which were filthy. Our shower didn't work so we bathed the kids by dumping the warm running water from the tub with the ice bucket. NONE of the coffee vending machines worked
Room was very dirty, toothpaste from previous guest ALL OVER SINK. Floor Was Very Sticky. Staff Was Rude & Not Helpful At All. NONE Of The Vending Machines Worked At All & Some Of The Ice Machines. The Only Good Thing About This Place Is The Waterslides. That's Literally It! $300 For One Night With All These Issues And More, So I Definitely Wouldn't Recommend. This Will Be The Last Time They Ever See Me.
Overall, we had an awesome time here. Front desk was great, our room was clean, and our boys loved the waterpark and arcade. Lots of restaurant options nearby as well. The hallways, common areas, and waterpark bathrooms could have been cleaner but we had a great visit nonetheless!
My family and I stayed Friday night into Sat over Spring Break. We were very disappointed and a bit disgusted honestly. Had to wait over an hour to checkin as they were 'overbooked' based on reviews I've seen this is a reccuring problem for hotel/facility staff and management. After getting checked in, getting bracelets for the water park we headed to our room. On the way we noticed the floors looked like they hadn't been vacuumed anytime recently. As we past a room we noticed a room service food tray t
I really dislike how splash universe had shut everywhere when I went to take my daughter to the bathroom there was shit on the walls and smeared when we went to the room there were beds as has a rock and a staff standing there. When we went to the pool the lifeguards weren't even paying attention and my daughter got hit by a 12 year old and just shrugged it off horrible staff. Overall don't come here (Shit almost everywhere)
Didn't stay in the hotel, but the 1 day pass to the water park was way too high. The website has this place looking much bigger than it actually is. The changing rooms/ restrooms were so filthy, hope the hotel rooms are cleaner! I give it 2 stars since the grands are enjoying the fun in the water. Over priced & overrated!!!
We took a weekend trip this past weekend and were a bit disappointed to say the least. Firstly, I'm not one to complain about little things, but when the 'little things' start to add up so much it gets annoying. The bathrooms in the waterpark are absolutely disgusting, I've never been in such gross bathrooms. There was no kids life jackets available in the waterpark either day we were there even though they claim they provide them, when we adked a life guard she said "you'll have to wait til you see someone
We had a very pleasant stay. The Waterpark was awesome and the staff was even better. I would recommend staying here. We had a party and the owner was nice enough to grab us tables and chairs to accommodate our party.
All in all the place was nice, my 7-year-old had a blast and he wants to go back. I do have a few things that I particularly thought was not the best. The first one is the cost of everything could be more affordable for say a family of five. The second one is that they say it's 84? inside year-round which I do not believe because while I was there I was cold many other people were cold and the water was not the warmest. Actually had to get in the hot tub area to kick the chill. Thirdly is the arcade room do
The arcade has miniature versions of regular arcade games making it perfect for smaller children. My boyfriend and I were able to relax in the Waterpark because it's such a small area that we were able to keep eyes on our children at all times.
Hotel rooms are original to 2006. Rundown and dirty. Hallways looked like they haven't been vacuumed in weeks. No breakfast. Lack of organization amongst staff. Only 2 lifeguards on duty on Friday evening, with no one working top of slide. Better water park options within state for not much more money.
Upon checking in it was clear that the staff was unprofessional. The man at the counter agitatedly let us know that they were ?sold out? and that he had to clean our room himself since we booked last minute. After entering the room it was noted that little cleaning had actually been done as there were visible crumbs on the floor and tiny handprints across every mirror and window. The beds were hard and uncomfortable, and there were several different kinds of hair littering the bath linens. The bed footings
Terrible. Don't waste your money on the room. The splash area a 10. Rooms -100. Manager -10000000000. Rude arrogant and ego is bigger than the moon manager So sad bc this place is gorgeous. Sadly. Ice machine broken. Elevator broken light flashing in the workout center. Hair in my sink. Trash and empty boxes under stair cases. No breakfast. The hotel itself was empty. Our room no desk chair or microwave. Cigarette smell and butts outside the windows I could go on and on. I am a Single woman and spent
The hotel bathroom was gross. The sink still has toothpaste in it. When I picked up the new soap bars still in their wrappers the soap container was covered in soap from the last people and there was a tiny black bug. Absolutely disgusting. We got the bunk beds. It never said they were for specific ages. When asked the ages of the kids I said 14 and 15. They were long enough, but they only had a fitted sheet and a small blanket that would have been perfect for a 4-5 year old. I had to pull sheets off my bed
The best thing about this place was the location and the bartender. The room wasn't clean. They even took a marker and wrote our room number in the hallway. Paid one price on line only to get there and find out the waterpark passes weee not included. Had to pay $200 extra. U can spend the same money for somewhere better with a bigger park and more rides!
This was my first time staying here and my last time. The room was so cold my Grandkids couldn't even sleep. The waterpark was not baby friendly who puts cement water slides for baby?s that is stupid to say the least. The 50.00 per person is so overpriced if rediculious. The bathroom in the waterpark was so disgusting I threw up and did not allow my grandkids in there and there was no hot water I. The bathtub to shower. Worst experience ever 3 kids on adult was 400.00 for I night . And the food prices was a
We checked in on a Saturday went to the water park which my son had fun. Went back to room and tried to give him a shower, was unable to do so. The tub was full of black hair, the sink had toothpaste and hair in it. You can see in my last photo they didn't even clean, just put towels over tub and called it good.
I arrived at 4 a little late , got here there was a long line out there door . People was coming to the front desk saying they rooms was not Clean. I checked in , my room was clean , the water park was nice . I do like the fact the bar is open all night . Staff can be more professional and communicate , the cleaning could be better.
Took two hours past check in for our rooms to be ready, finally got to our rooms at 5pm and have to be out by noon.. not even 24hrs. Rude employees everywhere and hotel staff made inappropriate comments. Everything is child oriented and has nothing for older kids, you have to completely hunch over to play any of the arcade machines. Expired products in the vending machine, got a drink that spoiled 3 months ago.
We took two boys under 10. The swim park is clean and the perfect size to keep track of your younger kids! Our room was clean and comfortable. Every person on staff was friendly and helpful! The location is safe and quiet, and easy to find. We enjoyed our stay!
Came with my son for a day pass. This was fun for my 6 year old but would have been boring to bring my teen daughter. It wasn't overrun with people and the noise level was more tolerable than other places. The actual play areas and slides were pretty clean and kept up. The girls bathrooms and locker room area were disgusting. There was only one employee, the male lifeguard inside of the play area from 10am-3pm and he was also servicing the women's bathroom, pulling out the trash. I was shocked he was the on
We took our family to the water park for our son's birthday. We went on a Thursday in November. There were not many people there, but the waterpark was a lot of fun. The water was warm and other than the hot tub, everything was working well. Food options were limited, but again there were not many people to serve in the middle of the week. We did not stay at the hotel, so can't speak to the condition of the rooms (seemed a little run down). The staff was awesome and made our son's birthday extra special. Th
Came here to celebrate my sons second birthday everything was amazing until it was time for bed I put my two little ones down for bed I look up on the head board to see a BEDBUG which lead me to continue to look and I found another under the blanket !!! I found two BEDBUGS In one bed
After reading several mixed reviews, we decided to visit Splash Universe, and we're glad we did! We had a fantastic time. The staff and management were exceptional, all with great attitudes and a strong focus on customer service. They were open about the challenges they've faced in finding reliable employees, which added a personal touch to the experience. Although we did encounter one small hiccup, Joseph?s expertise in customer service truly shone through?he made things right and turned the situation arou
Water Park definitely not worth the money. The kids area is dangerous I bought my 4 yr old granddaughter and she fell every single time the bucket at the top dropped it was so powerful and the lazy river has a ridiculously strong current. Will not be back
This place was disgusting. The bathroom reeked of urine, had bits of toilet paper stuck to the floor and puddles of who knows what. Only one soap dispenser had a little bit of soap left. There was some kind of mushy food all over the floor by the shallow kiddie pool that the one employee walking around walked past god knows how many times. The more we started looking around the more grossness we noticed. Nobody was at the top of the water slides for safety purposes, which I've never encountered at the many
THIS PLACE IS NOT SAFE. Listen, I observed a number of unsafe lifeguard practices while staying here. Of note, inadequate staffing of lifeguards (e.g., only 1 lifeguard for the entire facility, which included multiple pools and attractions being used by well over 100 guests), lifeguards performing other duties unrelated to safety role (e.g., fetching, folding towels, and checking the door/entryway for wristbands), AND NO LIFEGUARDS MONITORING THE TOP OF THE TWO LARGE WATERSLIDES (this occurred on multiple d
First when you arrive things don't make sense as far as where to check in. Second our room wasn't very clean there was pieces of hard candy on the floor and a large stain on the carpet. Our heater made a loud weird noise every time it kicked on. We stayed 1 night so we weren't aware till the next morning but the shower didn't work at all, the water came on for the tub but not for the shower. Eventhough the hotel is log cabin themed everything was extremely outdated. We got the room with the bunkbeds for our
The staff was rude. The water park was outdated and the restrooms in the Waterpark were disgusting. Out hotel room was ok. No microwave or coffee pot in the room. No continental breakfast. Or working elevators in the lobby. I wouldn't spend my money here.
Very disappointed in the customer service and what should be commonalities. While the waterpark experience was good the lodging was sub par. We never got hot water for the room even though the front desk said to let them know in an hour if it wasn't resolved?after that hour their comment was ?what do you want me to do about it?? They refused to give me a number for upper management and basically said sorry, not sorry. The sofa bed had brown stains, the ice machine didn't work on the floor and the carpet in
Water park was awesome. Had a blast with the family. The water slides didn't have a long wait earlier in the day. Got a bit busier as the day went on.
The rooms are nice and so are the employees but the arcade games are all foreign nock offs, and there are old advertisements for escape rooms, in some of the rooms the hot water in the shower doesn't work, there is no food at the resort/hotel. The indoor water park doesn't have any lifeguards at the slides only ? guards? at the door.
The water park itself was pretty clean and the water appeared pretty clean. My kids had fun- ages 5, 10, and two 14 year olds. The two big slides were fun for the 14 year olds and adults. Lazy river was everyone's favorite. Water was warm. There are lifeguards. They are watchful but not overly stringent/annoying, which I see as a positive. The bathroom and showers/changing rooms were pretty dirty. The ladies bathroom was honestly quite disgusting. There was no one that we saw attending to it or cleaning th
I read a lot of bad reviews before going, but I found the water park to be really nice! The water was clean, everything except the hot tub was working, the water was warm on a cold winter day, and my toddler loved it. This water park is great for younger kids. Life guards and rules were not strict, which is a plus for me. I didn't see the hotel rooms.
Live nearby the area and when they opened the waterpark we decided to try it out. Now the kids wont stop asking to go! It really is a godsend we come here for everything now, birthdays, reunions, random getaways. Every time its like Heaven for the kids. The arcade is awesome, the food is delicious, and the pools are nonstop fun.
Everything was Great For my Son Birthday Also thanks to Jared awesome Customer Service he Definitely gets the 5 STARS THANKS FOR AN AWESOME VISIT !!!
When we arrived, our room was clean however the booking site we used booked a standard room that does not have a microwave or coffeemaker. It also is not handicap accessible. The restaurant/bar is closed for the winter. There is coffee and a microwave available in the lobby. Make to call the hotel directly for reservations to get the type of room you want.
A wonderful place I hope to return but in summer the rooms are very good although I think there was variety in the gastronomy but I hope they implement this service but the rest the spectacular reception staff we only stayed two nights but it was great
Hotel room was nice, nothing special to note. The water park is small but great for my 6 year old. Not sure my 15 year old would have as much fun. The snack shack didn't have ice for the fountain drinks and it's posted not to bring anything from outside. I would say 3.5 stars ??
There was shit all over the walls. One of the staff came in and took a shit in my bathroom. A little boy that looked older pulled my son's pants down while in the pool. There were chip crumbs and roaches EVERYWHERE! Manager Joseph was my only hero and actually helped me through this stay.
Us customers are paying for the price of it being reopened! The prices are outrageous to the point where you want to go elsewhere, $50 per person and $80 per person on the weekend for the water park is crazy??bring back the affordable prices so families can afford to have a good time rather than overspending for such a small water park! Then maybe families will start coming back with a smile on their face.?? I also don't mind changing this review to a 5?once the prices makes sense!
This is my 3rd time coming here. I had a pleasure of meeting the owner, and he let me know that the business was in bad shape, and him & his Dad took over. I can see where improvements need to be made, but this is still an amazing spot for a getaway to enjoy yourself. The customer service, and the friendliess of the staff is top tier.
Hour plus wait to check in, no sheets or blanket for sofa hours later I had to go and get one cause delivery never showed, slippery floors in the park over slippery, bar closed, shady shady hotel doesn't tell you water park passes aren't included so get ready to spend 50$ more per person since they get you there and you don't have a choice save your money on this wayyyyy overpriced motel with a low grade water park literally go to great wolf lodge kalahari or frankenmuth for the same price with better servi
We surprised our birthday for her 8th birthday and she loved it. We all enjoyed ourselves 10/10 definitely recommend the staff was amazing!! I have to my memories I just can't post because they are videos.
This place was super fun. The Waterpark was so cool with the fast rides and nice staff. And thank you Jared
Resort was great, wouldn't recommend buying the pizza in the water park. My kids had a great time!
Awful. Filthy, unsafe areas near pool .. rooms are not clean and Teri me. Lockers do not work.. expired food in vending. Do not recommend
It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.
Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.
Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.
Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.
Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.
Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.
Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.
No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
