The kids loved it here, so much to do and it wasn't super busy during the week. Jared, our lifeguard on duty did a great job monitoring the pool area. We will definitely come back !

While I didn't stay at the hotel, I did go to the water park on day passes. I got there right after opening and there was not a single other person that was there, and that is the only thing that made going there worth it. For the first 2 hours of the park being open the water was shut off on the main attraction, and all slides were closed off. Last week's visit to Splash Universe was great! The kids (3, 13, 13 yrs), enjoyed it. The two-night stay was fun filled with Splash area attractions and good snacks close by. Kids enjoyed the Arcade as well, and adults occasionally escaped to enjoy the adult lounge. Staff was extremely welcoming and hats off to Manager Jared. Can't wait to go back!

Jared was the pool manager on duty today, he was very helpful, gave us helpful hints, supervised all areas that he could. He worked his butt off to make sure everything was up to par for kids and parents even going to extra mile to bring me water.

We had an awesome time at Splash Universe! The waterpark was super fun, with great slides, a lazy river, and a perfect splash area for kids. Everything was really clean, and the staff was friendly. The hotel was just as nice?the rooms were clean, comfortable, and a great place to relax after a day at the waterpark. Overall, it was a great trip, and we'll definitely be back!

This is a very fun family-friendly resort! It doesn't matter whether you come here for a day or a couple of nights, you and your family will definitely have a lot of fun! There is an indoor waterpark, waterslides, pools (including one at the hotel connected to it), an arcade, party rooms, a restaurant, and a buffet for breakfast. The rooms are dated, but functional and worked for our needs. We got 6 Waterpark bracelets with our stay for the whole weekend, under $600! ?? The Waterpark has a snack shack, not much to rave about. Makes you wonder how they maintain the water when the kitchen/cafe area, bathrooms, and changing areas are nasty. My child wouldn't use the bathroom because of how dirty it was and when I needed to use it, no toilet paper could be found on the rolls. Brought my family here for a night and made reservations on line for Wednesday. 1st problem?. The water park isn't open on Wednesday. Then we were switched to Thursday. 3/8/25 They definitely need to upgrade and clean their rooms. I checked into a room with my kids to find a nasty sink with black dirt fill to the top in it and when I told the guy at the front desk. I stayed in the Cabela suite and for being the most expensive room there the couch was not very comfortable to sit on and the bed was just ok for me but my wife didn't like the bed at all. First we THOUGHT we got a groupon deal but once we arrived at the hotel we were told it doesn't include the water park passes, it only included access to the free pool located in ONE of the hotels. The water park itself is great. The kids loved every second and threw fits when it was time to go eat or go back to the room. They wanted more. Stayed at Splash Universe in Dundee. Was the best experience I had at Hotal/ Resort I in a long time. Super Friendly Staff, Life Guards are Very good at What they Do. Waterpark was nice and clean most of the water is heated which was a plus snack shank wasn't open would have loved to buy some drinks but overall it's a nice place to take the kids to they enjoyed it

Pros- Granddaughter and I had a day pass for the waterpark. We had a great time for a reasonable price. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The water in the pool areas were comfy warm which made it enjoyable. Cons- We were the first ones there and found the restrooms in the waterpark needed attention. Water in the play area with orange slide, large bucket area was ICE COLD and NO ONE used it in the 3 hours we stayed.

Did a day pass for the water park on a Saturday. I was extremely underwhelmed with what was available for $60. We were terrified to use the restrooms due to the fecal matter all over one of the stalls and the lack of toilet paper in the others. Terrified to eat anything due to unsanitary conditions at the cafe. This place needs a serious deep clean and sanitation. We spent my sons 4th birthday here, and I can't recommend Splash Universe enough. Joseph the manage was more than accommodating and went above and beyond for myself, my family, and our entire party. The other staff members were extremely helpful and friendly. The establishment itself was clean, and very kid friendly. If you're looking for a good deal, you will definitely get your moneys worth here! 10/10 recommend them over Kalahari and Great Wolf Lodge.

We took our kids here on a Thursday (waterpark only). The staff was friendly although limited. There was only one employee covering the entire swim area. Lots of kids breaking the rules, turned the hot tub into a play area, it's supposed to be for 18 and older. Locker rooms were gross, both men and women?s. Place is literally falling apart. Most things including vending machines, ice machines, games in the game room, elevators, and exterior doors are hit or miss whether they work or not. This is a great place to take your younger water-goers. The water park here is obviously the main feature. It's nothing too extreme, so little ones won't get over their heads. This waterpark is just OK. It's a bit outdated and rooms smell. The waterpark is more for small children, with the exception of the lazy river, which is significantly overpowered and dangerous for any children. I wish I could leave 0 stars. Disgusting feels like an understatement. The locker room has urine covering the entire floor coming up from the drain in the floor. We booked a one night stay for $320 for this place that doesn't serve breakfast, most of vending and arcade is broke down, water at the park was freezing cold other than the lazy river and VERY small toddler area. The toddler area was one slide which was occupied a lot because they allow 12+ to use the area. The rooms haven't been updated since the 90s, as shower and room looked awful including horribly stiff beds!

Waterpark was great! The kids enjoyed their time. The water was freezing other than the lazy river and the tiny kid area so it was hard to enjoy all the slides. I really dislike how splash universe had shut everywhere when I went to take my daughter to the bathroom there was shit on the walls and smeared when we went to the room there were beds as has a rock and a staff standing there. When we went to the pool the lifeguards weren't even paying attention and my daughter got hit by a 12 year old and just shrugged it off horrible staff. Didn't stay in the hotel, but the 1 day pass to the water park was way too high. The website has this place looking much bigger than it actually is. We took a weekend trip this past weekend and were a bit disappointed to say the least. The arcade has miniature versions of regular arcade games making it perfect for smaller children. My boyfriend and I were able to relax in the Waterpark because it's such a small area that we were able to keep eyes on our children at all times.

Hotel rooms are original to 2006. Rundown and dirty. Hallways looked like they haven't been vacuumed in weeks. No breakfast. Lack of organization amongst staff. The hotel bathroom was gross. The sink still has toothpaste in it. When I picked up the new soap bars still in their wrappers the soap container was covered in soap from the last people and there was a tiny black bug. Absolutely disgusting. We got the bunk beds. We checked in on a Saturday went to the water park which my son had fun. Went back to room and tried to give him a shower, was unable to do so. The tub was full of black hair, the sink had toothpaste and hair in it. You can see in my last photo they didn't even clean, just put towels over tub and called it good.

The rooms are nice and so are the employees but the arcade games are all foreign nock offs, and there are old advertisements for escape rooms, in some of the rooms the hot water in the shower doesn't work, there is no food at the resort/hotel. I read a lot of bad reviews before going, but I found the water park to be really nice! The water was clean, everything except the hot tub was working, the water was warm on a cold winter day, and my toddler loved it. This water park is great for younger kids. Live nearby the area and when they opened the waterpark we decided to try it out. Now the kids wont stop asking to go! It really is a godsend we come here for everything now, birthdays, reunions, random getaways. Every time its like Heaven for the kids. The arcade is awesome, the food is delicious, and the pools are nonstop fun.

When we arrived, our room was clean however the booking site we used booked a standard room that does not have a microwave or coffeemaker. It also is not handicap accessible. The restaurant/bar is closed for the winter. There is coffee and a microwave available in the lobby. Make to call the hotel directly for reservations to get the type of room you want.

A wonderful place I hope to return but in summer the rooms are very good although I think there was variety in the gastronomy but I hope they implement this service but the rest the spectacular reception staff we only stayed two nights but it was great

Hotel room was nice, nothing special to note. The water park is small but great for my 6 year old. Not sure my 15 year old would have as much fun. The snack shack didn't have ice for the fountain drinks and it's posted not to bring anything from outside. I would say 3.5 stars ??

There was shit all over the walls. One of the staff came in and took a shit in my bathroom. A little boy that looked older pulled my son's pants down while in the pool. There were chip crumbs and roaches EVERYWHERE! Manager Joseph was my only hero and actually helped me through this stay.

Us customers are paying for the price of it being reopened! The prices are outrageous to the point where you want to go elsewhere, $50 per person and $80 per person on the weekend for the water park is crazy??bring back the affordable prices so families can afford to have a good time rather than overspending for such a small water park! Then maybe families will start coming back with a smile on their face.?? I also don't mind changing this review to a 5?once the prices makes sense!

This is my 3rd time coming here. I had a pleasure of meeting the owner, and he let me know that the business was in bad shape, and him & his Dad took over. I can see where improvements need to be made, but this is still an amazing spot for a getaway to enjoy yourself. The customer service, and the friendliess of the staff is top tier.

Hour plus wait to check in, no sheets or blanket for sofa hours later I had to go and get one cause delivery never showed, slippery floors in the park over slippery, bar closed, shady shady hotel doesn't tell you water park passes aren't included so get ready to spend 50$ more per person since they get you there and you don't have a choice save your money on this wayyyyy overpriced motel with a low grade water park literally go to great wolf lodge kalahari or frankenmuth for the same price with better servi

We surprised our birthday for her 8th birthday and she loved it. We all enjoyed ourselves 10/10 definitely recommend the staff was amazing!! I have to my memories I just can't post because they are videos.

Resort was great, wouldn't recommend buying the pizza in the water park. My kids had a great time!

Awful. Filthy, unsafe areas near pool .. rooms are not clean and Teri me. Lockers do not work.. expired food in vending. Do not recommend
