Splash City Adventures

Splash City Adventures

Reviews Summary

Splash City receives mixed reviews, with many praising its family-friendly atmosphere, variety of activities, and improvements in cleanliness and staff friendliness. However, frequent complaints highlight maintenance issues, with many rides often closed or in disrepair. Food and cabana prices are criticized as overpriced, while some visitors report poor hygiene, understaffing, and rude employees. Positive experiences often mention the lazy river, arcade, and attentive staff, but negative reviews emphasize run-down facilities, dirty water, and misleading advertising about operational rides. Season passes and Groupon deals are seen as good value, but overall quality varies widely.

Ray , Speedy and her name started with a K i believe forgive me for forgetting, made a closed water park day a memorable day! The lightning kicked us out of the water side, and these 3 played music, musical chairs, sang my girl happy birthday! They really made their day a fun one!! We've never been disappointed in our service here but today was an outstanding one! Thanks guys !!!!

I took my 7-year-old to splash City adventures in Pensacola Florida a couple of weeks ago. Although it wasn't terribly expensive they didn't inform us that she was not able to ride on many of the slides due to her height. If I would have known that she was limited to only one or two of the water slides I probably wouldn't have taken her to that one. A lot of the rides were not operational we were there during the day. I was told it was due to staffing. The park is relatively clean although if it was mine I

Fun, Family-Friendly Spot with Great Staff ? Minor Upkeep Needed We had a great time overall at Splash City! There's something here for all ages, and our whole family had a blast ? especially floating around the lazy river and going down the blue waterslide, which quickly became everyone?s favorite. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive. Special shoutout to Delo for being so welcoming, and to Jennifer, the manager, who handled everything with professionalism and kindness. It was also reassuring

It's a fun place to visit and the ride options are great. However, said rides are not well maintained and do require some work. More specifically the Go-Karts which are fun, but some are slow and some are fast making it hard to compete with each other. All that being said you can have fun at the place and it has its own charm to it.

This is my 3rd review edit because the longer we stayed the worse it got. First do not waster your money on the cabanas. We rented this because it stated " you would be provided a server". This is not true! You do not get a sever. Also they ran out of cups at 11 AM so no drinks were available. Smaller kids were enjoying the " kiddie area" when some rude employee came yelling at the to get out of the water then proceed to shut it down around 12. Over 1/2 of the amusement rides did not work or were shutdown.

This little park has so much potential. If it was cared for properly. The kids and I did have fun yesterday but we always make the best of any situation. The staff was extremely nice When we arrived a newer employee had Over Booked the cabanas An accidentally given ours away. It took a few minutes They did get it situated. I don't really agree with how they did it. I felt bad for the guests they had accidentally sold a cabana too. They went and told them that they had to move. I do hope that at least they of

Went for the waterpark during my visit to Pensacola. The place is a bit run down, however is still safe and fun. It wasn't crowded and the staff was nice. It did pour and thunder for a bit during my visit during which the waterpark was shut down. Overall for the money this place is a lot of fun!

Kinda mixed feelings... So it's our first time here, and I bought a season pass for my daughter and I (one and you bring a guest) well, the water park is empty so plus side is there is no lines, down side is it's small, and the slides were half in order. But the kids enjoyed themselves so not mad about that what so ever. Well the water park closed at 5 so we came to the amusement park side (dry side) and it is so cute! We were so excited seeing the cute carnival rides perfect for their age.... Well there is

My family has season passes, which are a great price. We love spending time at Splash City. It has something for everyone. There are slides for kids and adults, a relaxing lazy river, and separate areas designed just for toddlers and older kids. It is clean, well staffed, and a fun, safe place to cool off and make memories. I highly recommend Splash City for anyone looking for a great day out.

I recently visited Splash City Adventures with my family! The rides were so fun! And the service was even better! Josh Powell, the Operations Manager, went above and beyond to make our time amazing! If you're looking for a fun way to spend the day this is the place!

The water park was perfect! We had a blast on l the slides and lazy river. However when we transferred over to the amusement park there were only 2 rides available. And we had even worse luck in the arcade. Several games took our credits and didn't give us our tickets. We earned over 2000 tickets and when they pulled it up on the computer it said we only had 842. Nobody knew what they were doing and had to keep going to find other employees who did. They totally ripped us off with our tickets. Also went to

I brought my great granddaughter to the splash park... she had a blast, they has an area for the smaller children, which was great. the life guards payed close attention. all the employees were amazing. the park looked 100% better from when I was there awhile back. from the landscaping, to the rides. will be returning. thank you for the fun and great low prices.

Only a few rides open, but totally worth the small cost to entertain the kids. We found the place on Groupon. It was $35 for 4 tickets. Go karts, laser tag, rock climbing, and some rides.

My first time at Splash City Adventures was extremely enjoyable. One of the prettiest looking arcades that I've seen for a long time. The staff is super friendly, and they are posted at each available location ready for you to walk up and enjoy your time. The laser tag is ?fire? according to my son, but I preferred the goofy golf challenges. I'll definitely be coming back!!

Absolutely horrible experience! I bought tickets on groupon for $17 for two people and now I see why they're so cheap. When we got there we thought it was closed but then we found out the only ride that was running was the train. We got to the train stop at 3:45 and the lady that ran the train said it runs at the top of the hour so we'd have to wait. We waited until 4:20 and then gave up. Maybe it's because she brought her baby to work that she couldn't do her job or maybe they just don't care about the ver

After reading reviews, (which I should've done before purchasing) I'm very upset, 4 hours ago to a whole YEAR ago same reviews of how only 2 rides are working. I know in my email receipt it says no refunds regardless of maintenance of rides or weather, but apparently these rides have been under maintenance for more than a year. It's misleading, false advertising, and it's not making sense how they can literally STEAL from you. The water park isn't horrible but ours at home was bigger foe 10 dollars a day,

This place is so ran down!!! They do not honor a lot of the games. Most of the games are broke! Very disappointed, will not waste money here!

We had a BLAST! We found a coupon from Groupon for a family of 4 for 40! Very budget friendly! We drove a hour from another state just to do this! The water parks near us want 400 for 4 people, which is ridiculous! We stayed here all day! Something for everyone! Laser tag, go carts, water slides, amusement park, arcade and food!!! Some of the slides at the water park was closed and some of the rides at the amusement, which was a bummer but we still had a lot of fun and WILL BE BACK!! Oh!! There was a membe

Don't waste your money on this place, I should?ve taken pictures. Today was the first day they opened for summer. They delayed opening by 2 hours and when it was time to enter the park still wasn't ready. Only 4 slides were available. Majority of the park was closed (lazy river, one of the kids play sections, free swim pool) because of the slime green water. They had people actively trying to clean the pools while people were in the park when they could?ve just waited. The new cabanas aren't all that they h

I took my teenagers on a weekday evening. Not much is open at that time (laser tag, go karts, and mini golf), but this was disclosed online before we came, so I was fine with that, and the boys had a good time. Some people who had not looked at the website and were also there when we were seemed more disgruntled, but the park fully discloses this before you pay. We had some discounted tickets, and for a few hours of good fun with very little wait, it was very much worth it. Much of the outside part of the p

Hidden gem in Pensacola. Super chill and the season pass is more than reasonable for what it covers. Some parts are a little faded and run down, but overall it's a nice little amusement park area. They have taken steps to update and give the place a bit of a face lift with a fresh coat of paint. I have to imagine more business will mean more improvements in the future.

Last year when we came it would have been a one star review. Half of the slide and rides weren't working. The staff was rude. But we had a blast this time. We got to speak with the manager Tim, and he has really turned this place around in the last year. We will definitely be back!!

More for small kids, one pool was yellow greenish, one of the slides did not have enough water coming down, and you got stuck. The lazy river was the only good part of the park. It cost me more in simple burgers and chips than it did to get in the place.

My 4 year old has a great time. Water is very very dirty and I was a little concerned. All life guards were great. My only complaint was the woman who was cussing near the children near the area you pick up your ?grilled food?. She was very rude when I went to grab my food from the older gentleman. My daughter wanted ketchup but I was not going back over there due to the rude comments from the older woman who was just hanging out cussing.

Had such a blast with family here!!! They have go karting, mini golf, laser tag, and arcade games. Go karting was definitely our favorite and the weather was so nice when we visited. They have a really cool pirate theme going on with neat displays. They also have carnival-type rides that are great for little kids! I highly recommend visiting with friends or family, it wasn't packed and the employees were friendly. We will definitely be visiting again in the future, thank you to the staff for making it a fun

Truly one of the worst places I've ever been to in my entire life, everything was disgusting and dirty, rust absolutely everywhere, basically every ride was down, and nobody was trying to fix them whatsoever, the arcade had a few games down but it was ok but the arcade being the best part of an amusement park is just wrong, the pools were dirty and gross, one pool had so much trash and dirt in it that plants were growing from the sewer grates in the pool, big plants too, one of the waterslides straight up j

Although it was a dreary day with intermittent rain my kids were begging to go for a visit with all the new activities provided. The staff was amazing. They helped us get the kids on the rides they wanted to experience and did it with wonderful customer service and smiles. I thanked the employees letting them know I appreciated them all and they were saints braving the weather for us and each one of them responded if y'all are happy and having a good time it's worth it! We will definitely be back and apprec

Half of the rides were closed which kind of sucked but with the rides that worked, we had a great worker named Nathaniel. I'd give him more than a 5 star review. Despite a ride breaking down on up mid ride, he was cracking jokes to make it lighter and was super nice. Genuinely give him a raise because he was the best part of Splash City.

Looks nothing like the photos! Son cut his foot on a grate under water getting out of pool. Dirt, tree limbs and wood chips scattered all over the walking path to pools. Clearly not maintained, slides were faded. Rolls of carpet sitting in the amusement park area. We were vacationing from Iowa looking for things to do, we left after 30 minutes.

We hosted a family fun night for a local nonprofit at Splash City Adventures. We brought about 100 folks to enjoy the evening together and we were so pleased with the event! The kids had a BLAST. The staff was exceptionally caring and went above and beyond to help everyone feel welcome. Cody, Nikya, Ace, and Skylar in particular, made our families feel safe and cared for. The value for our money was great, the kids LOVED the go karts and laser tag, and the pizza was good too. We will definitely make this a

This place seems to have Great potential for fun! I belive if the owners put some time and effort into it more people would come. However, The whole place needs a good cleaning and updating. The golf area had several holes needing repairs. The building did not have ac on. Half of the arcade games were not working. The staff were not attentive or friendly. It took over an hour to play laser tag because they allowed a group to play multiple times in a row.

The best thing about this place is the workers that are here. Nathaniel was our one and only ride attendant and he deserves such a big raise. he was literally so amazing and he actually made the rides enjoyable. He ran back and forth to help everyone since this place was so under staffed and genuinely he is such a sweet kid. Please give him a raise

My wife and I took our son to splash adventures... kids everywhere that are suppose to be working standing around talking about personal issues.. kid running the go carts tried to make it a big deal whenever my son wanted to drive them.. mind you other kids were driving them no problem.. Jennifer said she would resolve the issue but I didn't stay to find out. My son enjoyed him self on the water park side! I have to say Jennifer was also very kind and understanding about the whole incident and was outside t

They make you sit out after thunder for over 2 hours and dont come give updates or options. The cost has gone up but no maintenance done in park. Broken lights and benches. They don't give rain checks even if they close an hour after opening. Nothing but kids running the place. Go to Waterworld. This place isn't worth the money!!!!! Edited to one star and would give 0 stars if I could. No communication at this park, no one knows anything or how to help!!

We got our wristbands and went straight to the laser tag line. The girl running the laser tag had the worst attitude. She was condescending, eye rolling, just... Wow. We thought it was going to be a terrible trip. We went outside for rides after, and the young lady running the train kid coaster was friendly and great. Our kids, 3 and 5, raised their hands to get off the ride at different times, as she instructed in case they were scared. She was great handling them, and the other kids that were inconvenienc

I'm only giving it two stars because the staff was very friendly! It's a shame because you can tell this place would be very fun for the kids if it wasn't so run down. I was sad to see most of the amusement park rides were out of order, the water in the kids play area was absolutely FILTHY, one slide was shut down because the water was disgusting, and the lazy river was essentially a swamp. We brought my oldest daughter here many years ago and had the best time, so it was really sad to see it in its current

Nathaniel was an all star employee making me and my whole family smile. He was kind and ran the rides well, even got it working for us! He gets a 1000/10 he was kind always smiling and deserves only the best lol. We then got food and we had an employee serve us great I think Makayla was her name. Anyways two great employees.

Reasonably priced water park. Fun water slides and a good kiddie pool area. Our favorite thing was the lazy river though. When we went they closed 2 hours early, which was a bit of a bummer. We still had fun. The pizza was pretty good and wasn't outrageous in price.

No. Just no. The smell alone made my stomach turn and that was immediately entering the building. Just looking at the water portion did it for me. We spent a total of 30 mins there. we just counted it as a loss, I was not letting my kids in that water. It was Helter skelter with the employees, they wasn't sure what to do. A lot of the rides outside were closed, The prize counter was closed and not sure how to even get points/ tickets when most of the games was free play.

It was okay. Not worth the 50 dollars I spent. The wait was around 15 minutes to get a ticket, so I would recommend getting tickets in advanced. You had to sign a wave but the technology wasn't working, that was 10 minutes as well. Then 5 of the rides were down, and 5 were open. One was working but the worker walked away when everyone got off and never showed back up the whole hour we were there. There were only like 5 go karts working with a line of like 30 people. We went inside to do mini golf and get ou

Great value for the price. Done does weren't working but gokarts and laser tag was fun.

We had the best time! We rented a cabana, but the cost was well worth it, just to have some shade (too expensive OUCH!) I had three kids (6, 10, 12) with me and they ran all over the park the whole day. This park is a lot smaller than the larger beach water parks, but there was barely a wait for the slides and plenty for the kids to do. I mostly enjoyed dips in the lazy river and checked in on the kids. Food was great but a little overpriced. ($20 large pizza) It's a waterpark, you have to expect that. Fro

Absolute waste of money. 80% of the rides are broken. Even for the rides that are working, several malfunctioned while on them and we were forced to get off. The signs state the height requirement, but the workers say that's state minimum and the owner requires half a foot taller (4.5 feet height for a ride obviously designed for kids 5-10 years old.) The gokart requires ages 10+ and 4.5 feet tall; but there's no signs stating that so I wasted 45 minutes in line (as it's one of the few operating rides) just

My granddaughter had breakfast with the Princess at Splash City this morning and she enjoyed herself so much. Thank you everyone for making her first experience enjoyable one.

It's best to just use the free tickets to get out of the house. Seven rides were just not in operation. The other four were just rickety. This place needs a huge spruce up. The arcade is the best part because 1) it's in the AC and almost the games all worked.

Half the place is closed for repairs so be prepared for that. The entire kiddie area on one side is closed. Half the park is closed. Food is over priced. The water was really yellow like they used regular outdoor bleach not pool bleach. It's old and run down but the kids had a great time. 3hrs is enough time to go on all the rides and the water park.... twice

Please if you don't want to waste your hard earned money . DO NOT EVEN CONSIDER THE THOUGHT OF GOING HERE!!! ITS OVERPRICED FOR TWO RIDES THAT ARE WORKING the swings and carousel...which the one teenage employees goes back and forth and runs the two rides ..the g I carts u will spend a hour or two in line to finally ride ..leavesall over the green and clogged put put golf holes absolutely the worst experience for the kids and adults ..arcade is hot and the food at snack shack its overpriced and good..the

The young girl Lexi and the young men who do the music and the life guards are so friendly. The older woman with blonde hair is mean and rude to people. Waited 2 hours for the water park to open and then once in the water it was dirty with debris and leaves. The worker were skimming the water as we drifted down the lazy river that wasn't even full with water like it should be!! Back to the older woman, the way she spoke to some kids that were there was disgusting. After asking one of the lifeguards who she

I was honored to be a part of their Trunk or Treat event. I'm truly impressed by Jennifer Harrison and how she runs the place with enthusiasm and passion. It was a fun and successful event. This will be a place my family, church, friends etc. continue to visit mad support.

Got there an hour after they opened on a Sunday. Waited in line over 15 minutes as there was lots of confusion with employees at the desk. Once we get to desk do waivers and pay, and then we are told that more than half the park rides were closed down for repair. Which makes sense because everything is pretty dated. There were only 5 rides operable. We made the best of it as we are from Mississippi on vacation in Pensacola and wanted to take kids out. I would recommend calling ahead to see what's working or

I didn't even want to give this a star but since there was Kona Ice I guess they can have their 1 star. The most NASTY water I have ever been in, trash was floating with us. The employees were clueless & careless! Just there for a check. Paid all day for water & amusement park & they had maybe 2 rides open. Some employees were very rude, literally laying their head down like they fr fr didn't want to be there. Most Slides were open but like I said, employees careless.. used the word ?hold the handle & TRY n

Most of the arcade games are broken half the rides were out of order. The water park was closed and equipment broke down before our eyes, the people are nice but the entire place is a safety hazard. It's no surprise that you have to sign a waiver every year

We waited in line for 30 minutes to get in because the staff kept leaving the check in desk without explanation. No one seemed like they knew what was happening or what they were doing. Some of the staff was really nice though. The waterpark part was delayed a hour for opening. It was the waterparks opening day, several attractions were down and the one water attraction (lazy river) I came for was not ready. There isn't even a pool to cool off in to substitute. We tried to order food, "cash only" unless we

Not the best place but not the worst. My kids had fun and all the staff was friendly but the water park area is not very well maintained. For example, most sections weren't cleaned from debris in the water, the slides don't look clean as if they hadn't had maintenance in awhile & some of the areas were closed and didn't even look to be ?being worked on? at all.

Place needs some TLC. Lots of potential. Half the games worked. Alot of the rides were closed. Greens needed cleaned off. Go carts were fun but needed some tune ups. Water park was fun but needed some TLC.

This place is fun, kids would have an absolute blast here for the water park side of things. We cane on a Thursday, it was packed because of a camp were there with us but the lines for the slides move fast and they keep the ball rolling on most things. The staff could be a little more courteous and friendlier. The lazy river is definitely a good time, the kids area the kids loved and the slides are fun for all ages. It's price, 6 people were $180 total and the food is mediocre. While pricey, we had fun

I've been here once before quite a long time ago. I can't even remember why I went before but I can see why I haven't been back. The place gives off a bad run down vibe. A lot of it has things that needed repairs or were in the process of being repaired. My wife and I chose to play mini golf and i couldn't leave fast enough. Almost the whole course was ridden with broken props, storage buildings and black lagoon ponds. The mosquitoes were insanely bad. I would have wore pants and a long sleeve if I would h

we paid for the water park and amusement park only to have only 3 amusement rides working. the place has been open since 11, & the water park is just now opening at 12:30. employees are standing around in big groups and talking instead of assisting customers, which is frustrating because the lines are extremely long and slow. and it's $4 for ONE water bottle??

The kids really had fun. Just enough rides to not get bored. The only con is that they need better light at night. The areas far from the building were dark and gloomy. LeD lights would be perfect! Other than that, no complaints. The food was too expensive for my 6 kids. We didn't do the arcade bc I couldn't get them off the go karts lol.

I DO NOT. recommend this park. The staff are disrespectful and rude. I happened to have been banned from 2 of their rides, one of them on the GoKarts because the brakes on mine happened to not work and i ended up hitting the person in front of me and the worker saw i was hitting the brakes and SCREAMED. at me. So disrespectful please don't come here it is. or worth it.

We went for the day. Had a good time. Was worth the price. This isn't a huge place, there were no lines. They open at noon and close at 5pm. Good place for little kids. They have 6 or 7 big slides. The lazy river was not open when we were there, if you are taking teenagers they will probably get board after 3 hours. We did have a good day and yes we will be back. If you have little ones buy the season pass it pays it self off by the second time you use it.

Well for us Sam?s Fun City was a quick trip to let the kids ride the go carts and play laser tag. After 4:30... it's one price for both activities, and it's unlimited. And we were from out of town, with a bunch of kids and they need something fun to do and fast. This fit the bill. So for me it's all good..no more, no less.

Had a wonderful time, staff was attentive and friendly. Low wait times, and the prices aren't terrible! Would recommend to anyone looking for a fun afternoon. Food was very good, way better than expected. Can't wait for the water park to reopen for the summer!!!!!!

Looks like an abandoned park. It's not worth the trip. We did the go-karts and mini golf. 3 of the holes were closed off.

I sat there for three hours waiting for my large pizza to be cooked. It was finally ready and in the oven, but then the other worker gave my pizza away to someone else who had paid through Groupon ? even though I had paid before them. This is completely ridiculous. When someone pays and their name is on the order, you don't just hand their food to someone else. That's wrong and I don't understand how this could happen.

The food price was OUTRAGEOUS! But there was so many things for little kids to do. One of the big slides was leaking so it was closed and the one next to it didn't have enough water going down it so everyone kept getting stuck and the bathrooms was Disgusting to the point the walls are literally falling apart from damage and the A/C was Disgusting and broken in it.

Today is March 16 and we came to splash city adventure at around 3 PM. There was quite a few people here this afternoon is beautiful Sunday afternoon and we were at the laser tag area and a young lady by the name of. Naraysia was running the laser tag I saw this young lady exhibit so much leadership and self-control while running the laser tag that I had to let the general manager know so I let the general manager know or or a manager. It could've been the general manager. Lexie And let me tell you talking

there was bad customer service and most of the arcade games was not working only 2 rides was working on sunday but the 2 boys name jmike and germele that was running the rides was very respectful and make sure my kids was having fun but all round it's a 1 star

My grandchildren, my wife and I came here on Spring Break and enjoyed the rides that were available. There were two staff members that were really professional at every ride my grandchildren rode on. Please give acknowledgement and a big, "thanks" to, Jeremiah and Connor from my family and I.

Bought the Maximum birthday plan and we all had a blast. We only did the amusement park part since it's February but we practically had the park to ourselves. The only thing is we forgot to claim the birthday present ?? ??

Only had 2 workers working all the rides so you have to wait and follow them around to open up different rides. A lot of the rides were down for ?maintenance? and a lot of the arcade games didn't even work. The place is old and rundown. Smells terrible inside like feet and BO. Needs updating BAD. I would not waste your money.

Sam?s fun city is a fun small arcade and amusement park. It is a little run down but it is still a nice place to spend the day with the kids. They have laser tag, go carts, bouncy houses, games galore, goofy golf, snack bar, dining area, roller coaster, a water park and much more!! It is the only place of its kind for hours!

What a sad sad excuse for a water park!! Run down very dirty and one slide wasn't even open none of the amusement rides were open and wow lazy river was disgusting do better Pensacola ! Who ever owns this definitely needs a revamp!

Paid for a combination rides and water park. About 50% of the attractions were closed. This should be relayed to the customers "before" paying for admissions! We left in less than an hour.

1 star is personally to much, with that being said, I give it 1-3 yrs an it'll be condemned an deemed a nuisance to pensacola. The place is ran down an barely operable, do us all a favor a sell to ronnys/extra space storage/dollar general an start over, just throw the entire place in the trash!! Absolute garbage!!

In my opinion. The rates should be cheaper. Especially closing at 5 pm on a Thursday. There are some fun tubing slides and plenty for smaller children. It was 160+ for My husband, myself, 14 year old, 12 year old and 7 year old. This was Surf side only. No online coupons offered or honored. I searched hard and heavy. I feel like more locals would come more often and raise the daily guest count if the rates or annual passes were more affordable. Also food and beverage could use some more options. Add some s

Has got to be the worst place. Ran down ain?t the word. Only 4 rides worked. And only 4 go carts worked. People stood n line for an hr just to ride. And has the most getto people ever. Do not recommend this place.

The facilities were ok-a lot of the water slides were closed and the water park was dirty. The staff, however, were not the best. It was a bunch of teenagers and they were all hanging out in the cafe. They wouldn't open the laser tag area for the kids who asked, even though it was open earlier, gave no reason to the kids or parents, and chose to continue just sitting in the cafe ordering area talking to each other.

Don't let the reviews scare you away! We really enjoyed ourselves. The best part is that it's NOT busy! No lines. No crowds. Inexpensive. The water feels great and it's an awesome place to spend a couple of hours to relax and cool down. Huge shoutout to the amazing lifeguards and staff! There were 2 lifeguards working the top of the kiddy slides (will and someone else) and I just have to say THANK YOU! My son absolutely loved y?all and you made his day! Keep up the great work. Also, the young lady working i

They had just mowed and was srill getting the grass out of the water. Still had fun on the lazy river. Pleanty of things for the little ones to do.

Splash City is making a come back!! New branding and a fresh coat of paint for the park looks great. Go karts and laser tag are always a good time and thier Putt putt is back open too. This is one of the best courses we've played from Orange Beach to Panama City. 18 holes of challenging fun for the whole family. My 10 year old loves it, but not as much as the water park, which opens on the 21st. We hope more people will visit and keep this place thriving for years to come!

Horrible. Waited 10-15 mins to get a card , after spending 120 something dollars, half of the machines and half of the rides wasn't working. They were short staffed, had one person operating the train ride, after they were done with that they would go do the merry go round..Definitely not worth the visit

Severely run down. Inside is updated but most of rides where closed only 5open including climbing wall and gokarts 3 of which where for kids under 48inches.. understaffed and gokart staff wasn't following the height rules and on cellphones

Sam's has 1/2 price admission to the water park at 3:00pm on Saturday & Sunday. It's an excellent place to spend the afternoon at a waterpark for a reasonable price. Sam's is an excellent place for a children's birthday party. We just spent 6 hours at a party and stayed busy the whole time. The roller coaster was our favorite followed by the children's maze, which parents are allowed to enter, but make sure you have socks on or they won't let the children or parents in. The lazer tag was fun but is better

there was only 2 rides working but my kids had so much fun shoutout too jmike my kids was running him all through the park

This is Spring Beak for all the school kids. Good place to go for fun and make memories. Highly recommended to all who not sure what to do this year. Groupon has coupons!

i haven't been here in over a year or so and wanted to say there is a noticeable improvement in the behind the scenes areas of the park. in the past, the restrooms did not seem or smell clean, there was a lot of dust inside the buildings, etc, that makes me wonder if those things aren't taken care of, how well are the major things taken care of, or how clean is the kitchen, etc. i was pleasantly surprised this evening at how clean the bathrooms were and how well they smelled, and how clean the park insi

Wow we got there on a Sunday and the water park was closed, but the rest was open and we practically had our very own park attendants going from ride to ride with us. No lines, no waiting for anything and the employees were very attentive, kind and friendly. Our family had a ball!

Frequently Asked Questions

What’s it like visiting an arcade today?

It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.

Is it better to go alone or with friends?

Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.

What should I bring to an arcade?

Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.

What’s the best time to visit an arcade?

Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.

Can I meet new people at arcades?

Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.

Are arcades still just for kids?

Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.

Are there events or tournaments I can join?

Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.

What if I’m not great at arcade games?

No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
