Extremely disappointed with our experience with billing at this facility. If I could give 0 stars I would. I called this establishment 3 weeks ago and I spoke to a young lady on the phone asking her questions about booking for a large party. I had a 11 guests going but only 3-4 guests were going to be racing. The young lady went over prices/packages for each driver. The call was then handed over to a young man who took my information. I was told they needed my bank card information to hold the reservation a
Great time. Race karts were super fast. Staff were friendly and helpful. The safely video you watched prior was very informative.
If you're looking for a place to raise your adrenaline, this is the place for you. Easy going staff members, plenty of arcades and games for everyone to play and the track is really FUN.
We were a group of girls with no prior experience who came all the way from Charleston ? and we had a terrible experience!!! We paid $28 for 8 minutes, but it ended up being only 2 minutes because we accidentally bumped into each other due to our lack of experience. At that moment, we were taken off the track. We asked for a refund and explained that we had come from far away, but the manager simply said there's nothing he can do and wished us a good night. Shame! Shame! Shame! If this is the way Israeli to
An Unforgettable Go-Karting Experience! I recently visited Speed Factory, and it was an absolute blast! The facility was top-notch, with well-maintained karts and a track that offered the perfect mix of speed and challenge. Whether you're a seasoned racer or just looking for some casual fun, this place has something for everyone. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, making sure we were comfortable and safe before hitting the track. The atmosphere was electric, and the adrenaline rush from racing
Extremely disappointed with the whole experience, the worst service!!!! I will never go back to this place and I recommend you not to go there either!! If I had the option I wouldn't even vote one star!!! They only let me do one round. We came all the way from Charleston and they didn't consider us. We are actually visitors from Israel and they were really anti-Semitic!! Shame on you!!!
Customer service was lacking. This was our first time so we had no idea how things worked and no one really volunteered any info. Then they told us that 6 ppl had to race to enter the court but one individual driver has been out there driving alone for the last 15 minutes....not sure if they are racist but very stand off and it really seems so
Place is super nice! Had a blast here with our company party! Ben was super cool and let us have a great time!
My son loves this track layout and the staff. This is the best indoor-karting track in Greenville and for that matter South Carolina in general. Being right of the interstate feeling a little road rage. Drive in and burn it off. Race Leagues or just racing against your ghost. This is the place.
AWESOME experience! Nice staff and our group had so much fun racing! Fast carts and curvy track! We had no wait time because we made reservations for our group of 8 and booked a race package online. The person I was emailing about details was super helpful and nice getting our package booked. We got to race with just our group (which we LOVED because we're all super competitive and we had two less experienced drivers which we knew to watch out for). We have talked about this trip all weekend and will defini
Had a great time racing with a group, The Geezers, I met out at the Greenville track. They are a group of racer over 50 and lap time less than 40 sec that meet on Wednesday. Track layout is challenging and fun. Pricing is about normal, but having to buy insurance to race their cars is odd for me. Go check them out and have a great time.
Very disappointed with the service. I came from afar and had to pay $30 for one round because I couldn't do it properly because it was my first time and on top of everything, shocking and indifferent service. Not even one star is worth it, shame.
Great experience the cashier was friendly overall my son enjoyed his first time there will go back employees could do better with explaining the way things go I paid for four races and didn't know after two races you get a break and the way one of the employees got frustrated because nobody was getting up after the two races was uncalled for because it wasn't explained so nobody knew! Just make sure all expectations are explained to everyone a lot of people?s first time
My son decided to check it out with some buddies! They liked the experience but it was quite pricey in my opinion for the length of time you're on the tracks. Overall they had fun and that's what matters.
We traveled hours to experience this high speed track and were not disappointed and could not understand the reviews that were less than 5 star. The staff was really knowledgeable and helpful. A majority of all the karts ran well and were really fast. It was like a miniture nascar track. The facility was nice, clean and reasonably priced.
We ended up not even buying tickets because it was going to cost 100 for four people to ride around the track for 8 minutes. Im sure it's fun but the price is the reason for the rating.
My girlfriend brought me for my birthday and we both had a fantastic experience. The carts are the best ive been on and the track is fun. The manager Ben was handling everything out on the track and was polite and thorough in making sure it was a good time. Will be back with more people.
Totally awesome sauce!! Fast and slow parts of track, race officials are fair and accurate. Karts are nice and very very fun!! Definitely going again!!! Just don't bump. :)
The only great experience of this place was the kind staff. I greatly appreciate the workers and their measures taken towards safety and following procedure. Beyond that, the state of the equipment, carts, facility, even bathrooms was very ?run-down? and ill maintained. My kart broke down 3-4 separate times during the race on its own, I basically couldn't enjoy half of the time I paid for as a racer. This is the only karting place in Greenville so I can assume they price gouge due to this. Two races betwee
Really fun and good place to go go karting, but a few rules should be changed, I got blackflagged because of someone breaking randomly so hard that I had to go into the barrier not to hit them hard and the person at fault kept racing
Absolutely amazed at the lack of professionalism or tact at the front desk...paid for three races for three people and only allowed two...my grandson was black flagged for hitting the wall to many times because being pushed by aggressive drivers...hey I understand it's RACING, but it's a favorable double standard guys...when I asked about our third race the front desk clerks were deers in the headlights look...hey you should get what you paid for...after a stairdown and me politely calling it to their atten
It doesn't really make sense to deny a kid access to ride who is 3 inches too short but allow another kid that's 1 inch too short to ride. Rules should apply to all, plain and simple.
Nice, fast gas engine powered karts. Tires worn, and some very smooth track areas lends to some drifting. Steering pretty stiff. Expect to use a good bit of force. My steering wheel was cockeyed a bit. As for the facility, certainly could use some updating. Painting and resurfacing of flooring would make this a bit better. Can't say much in the way of additional entertainment or food offerings. It might be helpful to look at the K1 facility north of Charlotte for better comparison.
My son took me here for my 51st birthday..we raced a couple of races and have fun Just wish we had more racers.Check them out for some real fun!
Great place to come with family. Took my family here and they loved it! Track and Front staff were very friendly and responsive with any questions we had.
So much fun This wouLD bE great for BurthdY party?s
Amazing place. Great atmosphere and very attentive track and front staff! It was my little brother?s birthday and he loved racing here. Definitely a must do in Greenville!
Good , at time we arrived not ones was there but nice place when the weather is bad
This was the worst experience we have ever had at a cart track. We were told to slow down after the warm up lap, which we did. We were then forced to exit the course after 2 laps and were told we did not slow down near an accident. We slowed down and do not know what what we did wrong.?!?! Nobody would explain what we did wrong. This place is horrible.
I've been karting at several other indoor and outdoor operations. This track was incredibly wet and slippery causing many people in our group to bump a wall or another kart. Our entire group was stopped and rudely told we were "done racing for the evening" after one race by the guy employee in a red beanie hat for not obeying the rules. (20+ people in group with a 3hr track rental) I would have been totally fine if only individuals who were warned were asked to stop. The second star was added because the
This place is so awesome. The new carts are great and I love visiting. I just wish it wasn't so expensive so I could go more often but they need to maintain the karts, which isn't cheap, so I get it. Love it guys y'all do great work
All things considered, I had a great time. Pretty standard procedure for signing up and buying races. Safety rules are clearly laid out to the customer and expected to be followed. As for the on track experience, the track is a good layout. Some karts are worse then others due to the nature of rental karting and unfortunately the two karts I raced today had two different problems, one with overall pace (which may have been a skill issue) and another with a uncomfortably stiff gas pedal due to it basically b
Cool track with fun straights and fun karts, guy at the front desk was cool and let us use our unused races for another day. Will be coming back again!
My experience here was terrible I was attempting to pass another racer my entire second race and they never got flagged with a ?move over? so I could pass after having them cut me off on most corners so I had left the races to get a refund and only got like 1/4 of the money I spent back and only used two of the 8 races I paid for
Very bad experience there. I brought a group of 8 teenagers. After short consign, they went to race but they were stopped after 3 minutes. Just the time to do 1 run and half, far from the 8 minutes that we expected. The "marshall" said they bumped too much. Nothing was proposed to compensate what we paid for, even to try to split them in smaller groups. Very disapointing for something that is supposed to be fun for the teens.
All the workers are experienced and put an emphasize on safety. Great customer service, I love coming here!
Justin was an employee 6 years ago when I had an argument with the management and an argument also with Justin. Everything was worked out and fine I haven't even been back in 6 years. I find out that Justin has become management here lately and now has replaced a lifetime ban on me. I know the man that owns the place and I'm going to talk to him about the kind of people he hires for management
Front desk was really nice, employees on the track black flagged my friend because someone else ran into him.
This place is not for the beginers or young people. We were 8 teenagers from 14 to 16 years old and just after 2 rounds a guy stop them. No allow to continue. No refunds. No a lot expanation.
Not the worst experience. The employees were friendly. It's a bit pricey in my opinion for the short amount of time you get to drive. We paid roughly $120 for 2 adults and 1 child to do 1 race(which included the "insurance")...it lasted less than 10 minutes. The helmets are all FILTHY and smelly, I literally picked up 5 different helmets to see if I could find a somewhat clean one, not a chance... and the head protector they give you doesn't cover much of anything, your cheeks and face will still be touchi
Had a great time Karting here! The Go Karts are great to drive! The staff is very resourceful and friendly too! Would highly recommend racing here!
The staff was very professional and kind and there motto was safety first
A nice way to repurpose an old warehouse. Easy to drive right by though from the outside. It was a fun time but it's really pricey. They have a weekday deal for 6 races $69.99 but that's per person. I went with family and raced with two kids and ended up costing over $130 for 3 of us to race once and the two kids to race a second time, so 5 races overall. Need a more family friendly pricing model to allow you to buy a package to split between adults and kids. Not sure I'd go back for the high price tag but
We had an amazing time and the staff was super helpful with my party. The karts were faster than expected!
Great staff, had a lot of fun. Definitely will be coming back!
Amazing FUN. Fast cars and what a time!
Speed factory is honestly amazing fast paced fun and amazing for the boys to race
The karts themselves are kickass. They're very fast and fun for a small circuit course. It's a great track layout. The staff was nice and accommodating. It is disappointing they advertise 10 min races that are really 6-7 actual race time, I see that's a repeat comment in the reviews too. Definitely some needed improvements tho? This place desperately needs more ventilation/AC in the waiting area. Bathrooms haven't been cleaned in a month. No food options (not a big deal). A little bit of investing into th
It was a very good place, fresh and friendly. The workers treated us fine and are very nice. We enjoyed the races, even payed for another one Also the equipment was good, smells like they wash it constantly
I would not recommend this place. They seem highly prejudice. Paid my money kept waiting for races. The race Marshall told me I had to go in and ask the cashier to add me to a race. But several people that came in after me were placed in races that happened to be white/you can keep your free races and thanks for calling me a liar in your reply ??
Super dope! Great staff and nice track. 10/10 recommend
Ben & Julian are great! Thank you!
Karts are fast and responsive. Track is good too. Pretty fun time would highly recommend
Had a great time racing. They have an area for private parties and you can look at the track. This was my first time in a go kart and it was fantastic!
Worst experience ever the staff was very disrespectful and will not come here .. spent over $500 dollars and it wasn't worth 5 dollars carts was like junk yard carts and you would be better off going to buy your own cart
I went there Saturday, and man I'll tell you seeing these teenagers/young adults work so fast and mature is awesome. They helped with the questions I had and were very nice. The one girl that works there was so sweet, I would def go back there just for her to run my race again because she knew what she was doing. 10/10, if you want a fun place to spend your time at, I'd recommend this place for sure!!!
This place had its ups and downs for sure. We went today and paid for 3 races, which were 8 minutes long each. It was pretty fun, and the karts were way faster than we expected. The track, while short, had a good amount of variety and we overall enjoyed ourselves while there. However, something I noticed is that my kart turned much worse than my friend's, which lead to a few crashes. While not a huge issue in terms of enjoyment, it was kind of unfortunate that the karts were inconsistent. I'd like to belie
If you're interested in participating in their carting leagues, don't even bother. They have two divisions: novice and pros. However, they allow pros to race in the novice league and they treat actual novice racers like trash. I drove an hour and half from Asheville to race in the league only to get pulled out after 3 qualifying laps and was told I wasn't fast enough to keep pace with the leader and wouldn't be allowed to participate. The top 5 racers in the novice race were also racing in the pro division
Had a blast with kids and neighbors. Will definitely be returning.
Had a great experience coming here on my birthday
The front desk employee was extremely helpful and nice and the person outside as well
This guy named Wesley was a jerk and cussed at my 12 year old freind and had a attitude and if you want to have fun do not go here because they keep coed us off for ramming of hitting walls and my freind spun out and he cussed at him and kicked him off the track
We held a corporate team building event for 30 people and our team had a blast! The karts were fast, track was challenging, and the screens posted real-time placing/times as we raced. My team was still talking about what a great time they had the next day and would definitely do it again
Had an absolute blast! great staff fun karts and environment :)
Came here for the 2nd time last night on a date. Mistreated is an understatement. For starters I would like to warn everyone that you can't touch the PLASTIC sidewalls or you'll be forcefully removed from the Kart in the MIDDLE of the track! I accidentally touched the barrier 2-3 times in total, While I was getting acclimated to the new Karts. Was rudely told by the attendant guy after my first slight bump against the wall, That if I did it once more then I would ?Be Removed?. Of course I accidentally scrap
I personally would not recommend speed factory. I got some friends together for a birthday and started off fun but then we're stopped because of the slightest amount of bumping. I understand the carts need to be taken care of but the maintenance on the carts is not well taken care of to begin with. From a loose steering column to leaking fuel, I won't be returning and would advise you to pick a different spot for an event as well.
If you enjoy racing and have never been here before I can't think of a better way to spend your money. That being said, if you frequent this location you already know they have had the same layout for two years and some of the carts are clapped. I have heard rumors of renovations and improvements so the circumstances may have changed by the time you read this review. Also if you get a chance to interact with the manager you'll probably notice he's a bit of a snob.
Great place, just a couple of suggestions.... I'm an athletic 6' 190 lb male, but the gas pedal is way too hard to push like ridiculously hard to the point I somewhat regret buying the yearly pass. Also, add some comfortable pads to the seats so you don't feel like you're falling out when hitting turns Other than those 2 things, this place is great, but I'd ride them all the time if these things become addressed.
Great service, great hospitality, would love to come back and have a great time
Had a wonderful time for a date night. Went on a Thursday an hour before they closed and had the entire track to ourselves. They have booster seats for the vertically challenged. However, my 4' 11" wife still had a difficult time getting the pedals all the way down. Staff was friendly and helpful. You can bring your own helmets, and it must be a full-face helmet, DOT helmet.
Had a great experience karting here. Amazing track with thrilling experience.
My daughter wanted to go here for her birthday. We had a good time, but one young kid kept spinning out locking up the track. I tight there was a min age limit. Consider skipping a race of a younger kid is going and you want to push it. I wouldn't have minded waiting but they joined in the middle our 3 race set. Other than that, the cars are fast and can be challenging for you to ride the line of sliding or spinning. I like that they have your race times posted on screen.
Great place had awesome party with friends totally recommended!
The workers were nice. The environment was exhaust filled and made it difficult to breathe in the waiting area. The track was nice and the go carts worked well. As far as cleanliness the helmets were not cleaned between clients and neither the neck guards. The price for the trick was a more expensive than expected but the go carts were better than Frankie's.
Indoor fun for all ages
Fantastic racing experience with some pretty dang quick carts too! Staff wasn't the friendliest or most helpful however.
Lots of fun.. faster than I expected! The staff was helpful not to uptight. Will be back. The three race package is well worth it!
Absolutely had a horrible trip first race was decent had a few problems but the last 2 races we got absolute trash karts no brakes low air in a tire. Wouldn't turn in a 40 acre field you'd think somebody who owns the place and races karts would keep them maintained for everybody to have a good time. Not only that the employees working the track are rude as hell and don't listen. Kart cut off 5 times during the race and wouldn't let change kart or give a race 70$ wasted
Had a great time tonight. Only our party of 4 there racing. Staff was very. Video sucked that we had to watch, but other than that it was a nice time.
Great place with great employees! I've been going for the past couple of years. Karts are fast and the track layouts are challenging. The rules they have are very simple, reasonable to understand, and most of it is common sense. They aren't bumper cars and most of the people leaving bad reviews are probably the ones who don't pay attention to the few rules they have. I always have a good time and will continue to go whenever I can.
Got put into the wall by a regular who was friends with the track manager, they black flagged me and told me I couldn't do the two remaining races and would not issue a refund. Our whole group left. I can't say enough how poorly this run down track is run. Edit: Online it says races are 10 minutes but they only give you 8 min half of which is yellow flags. I paid for 30 min of racing and only got around 8 minutes with no full laps without caution. For those wondering the only reason you could drive a cart
I went here for my friends birthday and it was a horrible experience. Me and my friends got on the track and we all got kicked off the track including at least ten other people in less than an hour. I would highly not recommend this place and for anyone even thinking about it choose another place. Any other place.
Want to start by saying staff was very nice and understanding of our groups concerns, we originally payed for 4 races and ended up racing for one and a half before 2 of the karts started bogging down and one even died continuously, one of the girls in our group requested 2 staff members to swap out her kart and they denied her request. Karts seemed to bog down almost like they hadn't been maintained. The track it self was small and under ?maintenance? so Half the track was coned off leaving only a small st
Unfortunately leaving a one start review after this weekends experience and mainly due to the response via email from the manager, Justin, when addressing our concerns. As seen in past responses of negative reviews, he likes to snarkily suggests visiting Frankie?s or bumper karting when expressing your negative experience instead of having a conversation with integrity. I expect he will do the same here. Me and my boyfriend visited this past weekend and have been here in the past and actually travel places
Great place friendly workers and a great track
Bathrooms are gross, Front desk staff was not polite, two carts had faulty brakes and falling apart steering wheels, safety video showed use of all flags but staff on track failed to use half of them, track layout was a lazy zig zag making it not fun with one good passing zone (when staff was asked about track layout they said they would ?fix it later?) , at $60 for 15 minutes this place is overpriced and underperforming. You'd have more fun doing donuts in the parking lot and leaving.
Had a great first experience here! Our company had an outing here, and it was a blast. Fast carts, friendly staff, and great times!
Great staff! Awesome service for our corporate event!!
It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.
Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.
Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.
Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.
Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.
Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.
Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.
No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
Yes, pool tables in arcades remain a fantastic draw in 2025! Games like 8-ball or 9-ball offer tactile, skill-based fun that blends strategy and precision. Modern tables feature smooth felt, responsive cues, and vibrant designs, enhancing the classic experience. Arcades foster a social vibe with casual matches or competitive tournaments, appealing to all skill levels. Unlike digital games, pool’s physicality—lining up shots, feeling the cue’s weight—keeps it timeless.
